Kalcich breaks down the challenges faced by folks looking for support in the area, including the added stigma that many men face when seeking help. Cortez talks about the importance of community and the impact that a sense of connection can have on mental health. They are eager to help fellow community members learn more about suicide and suicide prevention, and connect with local resources.
