(00:00):
Today we're going to unpack aworkflow hack that is my
absolute favorite way tostructure the plan of my work
week and also the weekend forthat matter.
I will definitely speak to thattoo, but I just find this so
helpful because when it comesto, at least for myself, like

(00:21):
trying to create a structure tobudget and direct my time during
my Monday through Fridayworkweek, my available working
hours, I get a little bit oflike blank canvas syndrome.
And this hack of planning myweek with the planets has been

(00:41):
so helpful to one, create like asimplified way to categorize and
organize the things that I needto make sure to get done every
week.
And two, is the most simple wayfor you to align your time and
energy with the cosmic weather.

(01:02):
So, you could track thetransits, which honestly I don't
really do.
You could track the planetaryingresses, which I do highly
recommend, but it's not assimple as this.
And you could track the lunarcycles and arcs and rhythms of
growth, which I also recommendas a business owner.
But again, not as simple asthis.

(01:23):
So of those three that I highlyrecommend every business owner
be tuned into to stay alignedwith the shifting cosmic
weather.
This one is the simplest to knowabout and implement because it
doesn't change.
There is a planet thatcorresponds with each day of the
week, and you can use thosebased on their theme, their

(01:47):
focus, and what that translatesto in your workflow and the list
of tasks that you need to makesure you do on a weekly basis.
And when you do this, not onlyis it a simple way to align with
the cosmic tides, not only is ita simple structure to plan your
week around, it's also one thatjust feels really aligned and

(02:12):
magical and resonant, right?
It's like this symbiosis ofstructure meets the invisible or
the formlessness.
And it's a way to embracestructure while still staying
connected to those more magical, intuitive, invisible realms that

(02:32):
make us feel so aligned.
And I'm going to go through eachof these and talk about what the
planet symbolizes, what thetheme or focus is and some
examples that might be relevantto you and your workflow.
But before I do, it's worthmentioning that just knowing
what these planets are, you canalso make it a ritual to tune

(02:56):
into that planet to start yourday.
So however aligned or not theactual tasks are that you're
going to do, which aresuggestions I'm going to give
you also just taking a momentto, you know, say what's up to
mama Moon or Mars or Mercury, each day to tune into and

(03:17):
activate the energy of thatplanet as part of the context
and the energetic environmentthat you set.
Or it could be a way for you totune into that area and set an
intention for your day and yourworkflow in alignment with that
planet.
So that's another way that youcan work with these.
I'm going to start off withMonday, the first day of the

(03:40):
work week.
Monday is Moon Day.
And what's interesting aboutthis is you might be thinking
more logically, cognitively, inalignment with the culturally
created start of the work weekthat you should hit the ground
running, right?
That after the weekend, Mondayis the day to just blast into

(04:03):
your to do list and just startgetting as much done as
possible.
But what this system shows us isthat Monday is actually meant to
be a lot more chill.
It's a day for you to settleinto and get things set up so
that your nervous system feelscalm and you feel ready to then

(04:24):
Tuesday hit the ground runningand to do so on fire and ready
to slay the day.
So when it comes to the energyof the moon, we're looking at
what makes us feel secure, centered, settled.
And so we're talking about doingthings that help you to feel
like you've got your shittogether basically, before you

(04:46):
actually start diving into anytasks on day two of the work
week.
So some examples of this, theone that probably is the most
obvious that's coming to mind istake Monday to create your to do
list for the week to take stockof what you accomplished the
previous week, what new thingsyou want to add to your to do

(05:07):
list, what things you got done.
Basically, you know, taking amoment with that grand
checklist, which for you couldbe in an app like Asana or
ClickUp.
It could be on paper, it couldbe, my personal favorite, on a
whiteboard that I go and standin front of and commune with and

(05:29):
erase and add to.
It could also include some otherworking document that you have
that connects you with thebigger picture and bigger
chapters and bigger cycles, likeyour quarterly plans or your
yearly plans.
And so taking a moment, not onlyto feel clear about what you're

(05:50):
going to move into accomplishingover the course of the week, but
also getting that even deepersense of calm and relaxation and
having your shit together on thegrander scales by also making
sure that when you choose thosesmaller tasks and to dos that

(06:11):
they align with those biggergoals that you're trying to
accomplish and making sure thatnot only are you including
things that that are going to,you know, generate your weekly
content or things that kind ofare rinse and repeat, but that
you're also including somethings that are going to get you
closer to meeting your bigger ormore long term goals.

(06:34):
And then on that note with thisone It's worth also tuning into
your bigger why or missionstatement when you're in that
regular ritual moon day space oftuning into your to do list.
There's probably obvious logicalbacking to why you choose to do
the things that you're going todo that need to get done, but it

(06:57):
creates such a deeper and richerand more meaningful experience
of our workflow as we movethrough it of our work week when
we've also taken a moment tocheck in with that bigger why
that bigger purpose thatmotivates and guides our work
and to notice and feel into thatconnection of those little tasks

(07:18):
with that bigger overarchingstrategy or mission that each
little task should be part ofenacting.
And when we do that, we'reactually infusing those tasks
with that.
And then when we actually go tomove into doing them, we
remember that kind of mental oremotional tag that we put on

(07:38):
them.
And so it creates more of ameaningful connection between us
and those tasks.
And it actually like brings moreof us into those tasks when
we're working on them.
So that's the big pictureoverarching moon day thing that
I would suggest you do is takesome time to settle into and get

(07:59):
clear about what the to do listis that you will then be
entering into the rest of theweek with.
And along a similar vein, I alsohighly suggest, if you're a
content creator, that you takesome time on Mondays to get
clear what your content plan isfor the week.
Do you have a theme for theweek?
Are there certain topics thatyou're going to touch on each

(08:21):
day?
Down to however granular andnuanced you might get with your
content planning.
If you batch create it, maybethere's some prep work or maybe
you actually do the batchcontent creation on Mondays
because that's one where if youdon't have some kind of pre work
or pre planning done aroundthat.
And you just have to, each day, wake up and decide and figure

(08:45):
out what you're gonna post andcreate it and post it.
If you're doing all of that inreal time, for most of us, it
takes a lot more mental energyand bandwidth than if we take
some time first to feelprepared.
And it also eliminates a lot ofanxiety.
Like, I know for me, if I don'thave some kind of, content plan

(09:07):
in place, I wake up feeling alittle bit stressed out and it
kind of like eats at me until Ifigure it out and do it.
It ends up creating a much lesschiller work day for me because
I feel the pressure of that Ineed to create content and then
I don't have any clue what it'sgoing to be about yet.
So a lot of that heaviness canbe eliminated by having a

(09:30):
content plan and Monday is theperfect day on Moon Day to do
this because that's the day thatif you're aligning with the
moon, you are riding the wave ofwhat can I do to prepare myself
to feel the most at ease for therest of my work week.
So for a lot of us, having acontent creation plan is a
biggie.

(09:50):
And then the last suggestion Iwant to make for Monday Moon Day
is to check in with your money.
This is one that I do myself, Iteach my clients, and I've
gotten so much positive feedbackabout this because it creates a
foundation for the week offinancial security.
And to say this, I also need toredefine what financial security

(10:13):
is, which is such a big part ofhow I support clients through my
signature program, which is thatit's actually a lot less about
how much money you have, howmuch money you make, how much
money you're profiting, anythingabout actual quantity.
And it's more of, I guess youcould say, a quality
relationship with your moneywhere you at least know where

(10:37):
you're at.
So regardless of what thesituation is, when we're in a
space of avoidance around thatand we don't actually know, that
creates a sense of uncertainty, can come with anxiety and a
dysregulated nervous system.
And for a lot of people thatends up being a compounding

(10:59):
thing until they're finallywilling to lean in long enough
at first to do that work, to setup systems that make it then
easy to drop in weekly with yourmoney and have a little money
date check in.
So from where you sit now, thatmay feel like the ultimate
daunting thing to do.

(11:20):
And if that is what comes up foryou when I bring this up, then
you are especially a candidateto get to the point where this
is something that you can do,because Money flow avoidance one
of those giant elephants in theroom that has impact and
influence on you in ways thatyou don't even realize until you
liberate yourself from it.

(11:41):
And a healthy relationship withit is then being able to check
in weekly, look at your bankaccount balances, do your weekly
bookkeeping of categorizingexpenses while they're still
fresh in your mind, rather thangoing back and doing a whole
year's worth when you go todoing your taxes and how
stressful that is by contrast.

(12:03):
And if you don't take it fromme, you can hear it from my
clients in my testimonialsection that when you actually
get to a point of being able tochill like and casually check in
with your money on a weeklybasis again ideally on Mondays
is such a good day for it youbring in a chill factor into
your business and the rest ofyour work week that is unlike

(12:27):
any other space you could becrafting and creating and
setting for your workflow.
So those are my threesuggestions for Monday Moon Day
maybe you thought of somethingelse that builds up and causes
you stress and anxiety becauseof the avoidance that you have
around it, that's going to be agood one for you to do on
Mondays and just know thatyou're starting your work week

(12:48):
out with that already checkedoff your list.
It's like eating the frog.
If you've heard that expression,if there's something that taunts
you and daunts you at the sametime, there is so much power in
just doing that thing first, eating the frog, just getting it
over with, and everything elsefeels easy and like smooth
sailing by comparison as youmove into the rest of your work

(13:11):
week.
Tuesday is Mars Day.
Mars is the planet of fire andmotivation and diving in
headfirst, leaping off of thecliff like the fool, not
bothering with needing tomentally understand or put a lot
of detail or forethought(again, because you already did on

(13:34):
Moonday) but on Tuesday, youwant to be ready to just hit the
ground running and just go.
So Tuesday is a great day toone, do whatever for you is the
most exciting for you in yourbusiness, right?
If you took the time on Monday,Moonday to eat the frog, you did
the thing that you're leastexcited about doing, got that

(13:55):
out of the way, reward yourselfand generate the momentum that
will carry you through the restof your week by doing that
thing.
So if you love creatinggraphics, that's one for me.
If you love interacting with AI,I love having my little AI work
sesh that gets my juicesflowing.
If you have a new project youneed to start, Tuesday, Mars Day

(14:18):
is the perfect day to do thatbecause you have that NRE, like,
new relationship, kind of like, crush energy, you know, the
shiny object bliss andsatisfaction that comes from
getting to dive into somethingnew, definitely do that on
Tuesday.
Or, if the reality of yoursituation is that there's not a
whole lot currently that excitesyou about your work, do

(14:41):
something that just gets yourblood pumping.
Start Tuesday off with like, ajog, or a workout, or a dance
session.
Something that gets you pumpedup, if it's not what you're
actually working on, to thengenerate that energy and apply
it to whatever you have on yourplate for Tuesdays.

(15:01):
And also if that's you, Tuesdaymight be a good client day for
you if you do one to onesessions or offer some kind of
Voxer support, especially ifyou're a projector like me or
somebody that really feeds offother people's energy,
dedicating Tuesdays as one ofyour client days is a great idea

(15:21):
to get you excited, to remindyou why you're doing this
through getting to see, feel, and experience and get the
feedback from the impact thatyou're actually having on your
clients.
Wednesday is Mercury Day.
This is the day that's all aboutcommunication and writing and
getting your message across.

(15:43):
So one, Wednesdays are a greatday to write whatever copy you
need to write for your nextbatch of content.
So this would be a good day foryou to write your newsletter,
your post captions, a blog post.
You're going to have Mercury onyour side when it comes to
writing.
This is also a great day toschedule things to go out.

(16:07):
So my newsletter, The CosmicCurrent, goes out every
Wednesday morning.
And you may want to consider, aspart of being aligned with the
Wednesday Mercury Day vibes, tohave some kind of message or
transmission that goes out on aregular schedule on Wednesdays.
Wednesdays are also a great dayto get to inbox zero or take a

(16:30):
little bit of time to chip awayat clearing your inbox, to
respond to any messages that youhave waiting.
One tip that I have for this isas you're going through your
inbox periodically whenever youcheck it, whether that's daily
or but if you're checking it attimes that aren't the right time
to respond, and if you want toplan to respond to the messages

(16:52):
that are going to require alittle bit of more of your time
and presence on Wednesdays, asyou're going through in real
time, just flag them.
I use Apple Mail and we have acolor flag system.
I just put a green flag onthings that I know I need to
circle back to and Wednesdaysare a great day to go back and
round up that flag inbox andmake sure that you've responded

(17:13):
to everything in there.
Next up, Thursday is Jupiterday.
This is the day of expansion andoptimism.
And whereas Mars was more ofthat, like fiery inspiration to
take action and leap into yourweek, Jupiter day, Thursday is
the day to learn or do orexperience something that really

(17:37):
gets you like excited andoptimistic and connected with
your bigger scale vision ofwhere the efforts you're doing
right now are taking you.
So Thursdays are a great day tolearn something new.
Like I said, for me if I knowthere's a new app that I want to
explore, I really get off on newtech tools.

(17:59):
So Thursdays are a great day forthat.
If there's somebody thatinspires you, somebody new that
you've connected with in yoursocials, this would be a good
day to go peruse their contentand their digital realms so that
you can get inspired and excitedby their example of what's
possible.
Thursdays are also a great dayfor activities that are actually

(18:19):
going to make scaling possiblefor you.
So this could mean diving intocertain efficiency tools like AI
or things that help you withrepurposing content or doing the
backend organization to be ableto bring on a team member, maybe
working on your SOPs that makeit possible for other people to

(18:41):
support you more efficiently.
Anything that clears things offyour plate that are tedious or
time consuming or otherwisedon't inspire your genius.
Things that you can clear offyour plate or the things that
you need to do to ultimatelysoon and eventually be able to
clear those things off yourplate so that you have more time

(19:03):
for what does actually exciteyou and inspire you and to focus
on your genius zone and thethings that only you can do that
other people couldn't do for youthat you wouldn't be able to
easily or in good consciencedelegate to somebody else.
And like I mentioned for MarsDay, Jupiter Day is also
potentially a really good dayfor client interactions.

(19:26):
So it works really well for alot of people to have like
Tuesday, Thursdays be theirclient days, because similar to
on Tuesday, Mars Day, whereinteracting with other people
helps get you fired up about whyyou're doing this and who you're
helping.
Similarly, Thursday, Jupiter Dayyou can do that too, right?
You get inspired and lit up forwhat's possible when you're

(19:48):
actually interacting with otherpeople, helping provide
transformations, and getting thefeedback that ends up really
amplifying your optimism andinspiration and excitement for
the work that you're doing.
And Friday is Venus Day.
Venus is the planet of art andconnection and aesthetics and

(20:12):
self care, and all of the thingsthat are both visually pleasing
to you and are related to theways that you create content
from your world that is visuallyappeasing to other people.
So one of the things that I loveto do on Fridays is create

(20:32):
graphics from my photo shoots.
Friday would also be a great dayto do a photo shoot.
So whether that's the day thatyou plan a professional shoot or
you reserve some time on Fridaysto record b- roll content or
take photos of you while you'reworking or outside.
Fridays can definitely be a goodday to get outside.

(20:56):
Feel good.
Feel the sun on your skin.
Feel your connection with naturethat charges you up and feels
like a reward at the end of thework week.
I also love on Fridays, everythird Friday I go down the hill
and I go do my chiropracticappointment.
I get my nails done.
I go work at a coffee shop andall of these things both make me

(21:20):
feel great, but also get me outinto the world and connecting
with other people.
So Fridays are also a great dayto go have an in person IRL meet
up with somebody, go have coffeeor tea with somebody.
These are a great day to meetwith your coaches, your
therapist, your best friend, anybody that offers you the

(21:44):
reflection of support that ishelpful for you.
It's a great way to end the workweek, to be able to recap and
reflect on whatever's come topass that week.
So basically anything that helpsyou to feel lovely and connected
and like your life and businessis a work of art and you are

(22:06):
like an art piece moving throughit.
And along that similar vein,Friday is a great day to recap
on what you're grateful for fromthe week, who you're grateful
for that you've gotten tointeract with during the week,
whether it's colleagues orclients or coaches.
And to also take stock of howbalanced you felt during the

(22:28):
week.
It's a good weekly day to checkin with yourself around the
different areas of your life andbusiness that feel important to
you.
And to check in with how muchtime and effort and energy were
you able to give to each of themand to set intentions for how
you can continue to tweak thingsto get closer and closer to a

(22:50):
sense of work life balance andbalance between all the pieces
within both.
Venus day, the day of the scalesis perfect for this.
Then moving into the weekend, wehave Saturn day and Sun day
Saturn is the planet ofresponsibilities.
Saturday is a great day to getyour chores done, get your house

(23:12):
cleaned up, do your laundry, runany errands that you need to do.
Whatever has been weighing onyou that hasn't gotten done in
terms of non workresponsibilities.
Saturnday, Saturday is a greatday to do those things.
And there's beauty in that whenyou do, then you have Sunday

(23:35):
left.
The day of the sun, you, yourcenter, what lights and charges
you up.
This is your day of rest, butalso to do whatever it is that
you do just for you.
To help you feel charged up,fully decompressed and reset
from the previous week and readyto take on the next work week,

(23:57):
although chill at first with anice little ramp up starting
with Monday, Moon Day, beforeyou hit the ground running again
with Tuesday, Mars Day.
I hope this was helpful.
I'd be so curious to hear ifthis was something you already
knew, if this was something youknew, but have never
implemented, if you got certainideas that came up when I was

(24:19):
talking about these differentthemes of the planetary days of
things that would be perfect inyour workflow to dedicate to
those days.
Please reach out and let meknow.
This is a topic I love to geekout on.
And I hope that you feltinspired by at least one of
these things to integrate andimplement into the corresponding
day of your week so that youbring a little bit more

(24:42):
intention and structure to thetime that you have to spend on
work or play or chores orwhatever it is, and that you
feel even more aligned with thatchoice because it's connected
with the system that I love somuch of the planetary days of
the week.
