(00:00):
In today's episode, we're gonnatalk about the big deal
(00:03):
transition that just happened.
That happens this time of yearevery year.
This time it was on March 20th,and that is the transition into
Aries season, which is thespring equinox if you're in the
Northern hemisphere, the fallautumn Equinox if you're in the
Southern hemisphere.
(00:24):
It's also considered the NewYear astrologically, which if
you have been listening allseason, the first episode that
kicked off this season of CosmicCoin Drop was about the
Gregorian calendar new Year ofJanuary 1st and the astrological
(00:45):
climate that initiates that.
So today we're gonna talk aboutthe actual astrological new year
and what the archetypes, thevibe, the energy of this
transition is because itactually is a lot more aligned
(01:05):
with new beginnings than thetransition that takes place on
January 1st, which is still verymuch in the winter, sleepy
vibes.
So this is again, the start ofspring in the Northern
hemisphere.
I'm going to talk about it assuch with the spring themes of
rebirth and renewal and thisseason and time of year that we
(01:31):
are in right now that initiatesthis opportunity for rebirth,
new beginnings, but also put itin the context of the transition
from Pisces season into Ariesseason, which you know, it's
great to know like what seasonyou're in.
This is one of the simplifiedtransit things that I think
(01:54):
everybody should know about justwhat Sun season you're in.
This is a great way tounderstand the Wheel of the Year
and the basically different likeareas, motivations, parts of our
lives that we cycle between sothat we can give adequate
attention and energy to each insuccession as we make our way
(02:15):
around the wheel.
Now that said, it's superstrategic from an alignment
perspective to understand thespan, the timeline of each of
these seasons.
However, what is even morepowerful than that and simpler
than that, is knowing what thosecusps are, those days, those
(02:37):
times when we're actuallytransitioning between the two,
because that's when you arebeing encouraged and invited to
change your focus, right?
To adapt and shift along withthe shifting from each star
season.
It is really helpful to knowbecause we are creatures of
(02:58):
habits.
We have a tendency to settleinto what's working, what's been
working.
But knowing when these momentsare to transition and shift our
focus is a really helpful nudgeto stay aligned with the cosmic
currents.
When it comes to this one fromPisces season to Aries season,
(03:21):
even though the wheel of theZodiac is continuous, we are
constantly spiraling through.
So there really is no officialending or beginning.
It is a continuous ongoingspiral circle.
That said the transition fromPisces to Aries, if we had to
(03:42):
pick an ending and beginning atleast in how it feels for us to
experience that transition, itis absolutely this one.
And that's why we look at thisas the astrological new year.
Again, it's Equinox, so it'salso really cool that we pass
through this portal ofequilibrium to start the new
(04:02):
season.
But I really wanna unpack whythat transition from Pisces to
Aries marks the livedexperience, the phenomenon of
endings and beginnings becauseit's really helpful to
understand why this is theastrological new year, why we're
closing the previous year, opening the next one, but also
(04:25):
what this part of the wheel isthat we experience over and
over.
Its like the foundations ofritual, right?
Being able to take this ongoingexpanse of time or spreading in
all directions, experience ofspace, and create containers
(04:45):
where we mindfully mark theopening and closing, the ending
and beginning understanding thatphenomenon through that we are
able to intentionally show upfor and engage and align our
creative process with so that weare effectively co-creating with
(05:06):
the universe.
Understanding that through thistransition from Pisces Energy to
Aries is really helpful tounderstand how that works.
First Pisces season, what wejust transitioned out of.
Obviously everybody experiencesthings differently, but some
commonality around it is thatit's a watery time, right?
(05:31):
It's a time when we are lessintrinsically able to take
action, to make forward momentumand progress to start new
things.
These are all things that we'regonna talk about that we're in
now with Aries season.
But first we move through thisPisces season opportunity to
(05:55):
really just like feel intoourselves, to reflect, to let go
and surrender what's notworking.
Oftentimes, this comes throughas a lot of emotion, a lot of
feels that keep us from feelingreally able to take action,
(06:16):
right?
We're stuck in our feels.
It can also be a time of morelike lethargy, low energy.
I know for me, I mean there wascontextual things, but I was in
a bit of like a depression whenit comes to my inspiration, my
motivation, and a lot of times,as above, so below, as within,
(06:38):
so without, we can have actualexternal factors that contribute
to this.
For me, I got really sick at thebeginning of it, so that like
completely took me out, basically felt like the
universe's way of saying like,"yo rest".
And I didn't have a choice aboutit.
I had a fever for like a week.
(06:59):
So that was the first thing thattook me out.
And then from there, along thatvein of Pisces season, I just
couldn't come out of it.
Even after I was feeling better,I just felt like I was like
drifting, stuck in a funk, didn't feel my connection to
myself, my source energy, mymotivation, there was just
(07:19):
nothing there and I didn't forceit'cause that's really what
Pisces season asks of us, isjust to surrender into what is.
It's all part of the processthat's preparing us for what's
next and what's coming.
And then from there I had theunfortunate tragedy of my kitty
familiar getting hit by a car.
(07:41):
It was very sad and put me intoa grief place, really doesn't
get more Pisces than that ofconnecting to the beyond through
this attachment that I had tothis wonderful kitty.
And just feeling the floodgatesopen of grief and rawness in my
(08:01):
heart space.
You can't make this stuff up,all such a Pisces journey of
just feeling anything but ableto step up, take action.
I actually took, as you know, astep away from content creation,
took a break from the podcastlast week, and I cannot tell you
(08:21):
how different things feel now onthe other side, but also how
cleansed I feel.
Pisces is a time and anopportunity to just let these
things wash through, clear outwhatever is like stagnant.
Like I said, I went through achapter of sickness and then
depression and then grief andthroughout that time, in the
(08:45):
messy middle, I just didn't knowhow long it was gonna take.
I mean, as an astrologer, I hadan idea that come spring, come
Aries season, come the return ofthe fire, I would start to feel
my life force come back againand again, there's so much value
in knowing when thesetransitions take place, because
it's all about being able toroll with the changes and to
(09:10):
adapt with the shiftingenergetic environment of that
cosmic flow.
And so knowing what shift isaround the corner is really
helpful, especially in timeslike these, right?
Like I was literally drowning, throughout that whole Pisces
season timeline, but there was apart of me that knew and was
(09:32):
really able to just surrender tothat process and trust that
everything that was happening, was happening for a reason.
Also, big Pisces themes, right?
Of trusting in the beyond, trusting in what's beyond the
visible veil that we're able tobe super clearly, consciously
aware of and connected with, andto really trust in the higher
(09:57):
self, bigger picture, mystery inthe beyond, that is part of what
is animating and orchestratingthis whole show.
So, not to say that it's easy, there was a lot of emotion that
came up through that time, butultimately, I felt so much more
able to surrender to thatprocess.
(10:18):
I can remember back when I was ateenager, before I was aware of
astrology and these cycles andthese shifting tides, where I
would get stuck in things for alot longer.
I can remember going down andgetting taken out and, for way
more than a month.
Not being aware of the shiftingenergetic climate and not moving
(10:43):
and shifting with it.
I would get stuck longer and abig part of those experiences
when I was younger was on top ofwhatever I was actually
experiencing and feeling and thedepression or whatever state I
was in, also like fear andanxiety around"is this gonna
last forever?" It was thisfeeling that it would, and this
(11:06):
whole other layer on top of whatwas actually going on of
resistance to that it was goingon, wishing it was different,
trying to force it or change itinstead of now as an
astrologically aligned adult, being able to just ride those
waves and settle into thatprocess, knowing that it would
(11:28):
shift.
So firstly, I just want toreflect that in my experience
and offer it with compassion towhatever your experience was and
to be an example and apermission that to whatever
extent you didn't allow yourselfto fully feel and powered down
(11:51):
and settle into whateverhappened for you, that this
comes around every year.
And that you have an opportunitynext year to be even more gentle
and compassionate with yourselfaround whatever comes up during
this time of year because often, there are things that challenge
and confront us, and it is not atime to try and push through and
(12:14):
produce and create anyway ifyou're not feeling it, because
in my experience, part of whatmakes the Aries season comeback
on the other side so powerful isallowing yourself to go through
that Pisces death essentiallyand dissolving, so that you can
(12:34):
be fully collapsed basically, fully aligned with the ending of
your last cycle, fullysurrendered to that so that you
are freshly able to be rebirthedand reborn on the other side for
Aries season.
And before we transition to thatenergy, I just wanna break
(12:55):
Pisces down to its parts.
So with Pisces, obviously we'retalking about the water element.
We are also talking about themutable mode, which I don't
really like that language offixed cardinal and mutable.
It doesn't evoke much for me.
I like to name them by theactual motion, movement,
(13:17):
direction of energy moving thatthey are.
So with mutable, we're talkingabout a spiral, dynamic,
momentous movement between ourinner and outer worlds, between
us and the universe that we areco-creating with.
So with Pisces, we're talkingabout the water dimension.
(13:42):
So our feels, that kind of likewet, squishy place that feels
more vulnerable.
Where ultimately we'reconnecting with spirit, we're
connecting beyond the veilthrough that ability to soften.
And it makes me think of howwater fills whatever container
(14:03):
is available for it.
It shape shifts based on thespace available to it, right?
So there's very much thismagical space where we can
transform and shape shift, thatwe are able to access through
being connected with ouremotions and our feelings and
that portal through our innerworld out into the beyond.
(14:26):
And then so with that spiraldynamic movement of it's like
the space where our emotions areable to connect us to something
greater.
The other thing that I wannamention with this is Pisces is
all about our connection withour purpose, like our bigger
purpose that's guiding andmotivating us to do our work in
(14:48):
the world.
So it's like how are theservice, the offerings, how
we're actually helping peopleand being of service in the
earthly realm is inspired andmotivated by a bigger purpose,
that felt sense of purpose, ofbeing on purpose.
And it's worth mentioning thatwe move through these chapters,
(15:12):
these star seasons, to have partof our ongoing growth, refining
ourselves around how alignedwe're able to be with each of
these territories.
So in the case of Pisces, I cantell you that for me, I just
shared, I went through a time ofsickness and depression and
(15:34):
grief, and during that time, especially when I was in the
like middle, kind of depressedpart, I felt so disconnected
from my sense of purpose, and itwas a big part of why I was
feeling the way I did.
I could tell that my lack ofmotivation was because I was
having doubts around and feltdisconnected from that space,
(15:58):
that Pisces energy of feelingthe guidance of the meaning and
the purpose of the work that I'mdoing.
I went through a spell of thatand we can talk about how Pisces
is all about your connection toyour sense of purpose, but
oftentimes it's a journey.
It's a dark night of the soulthat we have to go through of
(16:19):
feeling separate from it to thenrekindle, redefine and refeel,
reconnect to what that is forus.
And I can say that that was thecase for me.
So I implore you to reflect onover the last month, what was
that for you?
Did you go through some kind ofa process of questioning or
(16:40):
distancing yourself from aclear, connected, felt
experience of what your purposeis.
Did you have a moment of, or amany moments strung together of
feeling less than connected?
Feeling less than clear?
And then how did that contributeto a breakthrough on the other
(17:01):
side.
And with Pisces it's not, likethe Scorpio Phoenix rising from
the ashes sense of rebirth.
It's quieter, but something thatshifted within you, around your
relationship to andunderstanding of the purpose,
the greater purpose that guidesand motivates and inspires you
in your work.
(17:21):
And again, it's not always somefanfare, like Scorpio style
transformation of yourunderstanding of that thing.
Oftentimes, and for me it wasmore just feeling and letting go
and surrendering and offering upto the altar.
Like what felt in the way of mebeing connected to my purpose.
(17:44):
Certain frustrations that I'vehad around the engagement and
receptivity post- pivot in mybusiness and just acknowledging
some of the patterns that I washolding in place stubbornly, you
know, because I wasn't willingto just like, let it flow and
let it go.
Easy to say in a vague way.
(18:05):
We each experienced this in ourown way.
But Pisces season is definitelya time of going through that
kind of crucible.
Oftentimes it's a feeling adisconnection or a blip in our
connection to our life forceenergy, our guidance, our beyond
what we can see, know, andunderstand, but that intuitive
(18:27):
knowing that we are beingguided, that we are doing the
work that we are doing, meaningfully and on purpose, and
so that we can reset that.
Ultimately that is part ofpreparing us for the transition
into Aries season.
Which again, I have found thatmy ability to surrender more and
(18:48):
more deeply into that Piscesprocess has been made possible
by knowing that Aries season isaround the corner and that I am
going to experience a return ofthe fire, a rekindling of that
flame within me, that isawaiting me on the other side of
that journey and that experienceand that willingness to move
(19:11):
through those more watery, unsure, chaotic, emotional
waters.
So that's where we are now.
We are now moved into Ariesseason, which again, we moved
through that Pisces portal ofjust dissolving, letting go,
(19:31):
reestablishing our connection toour guidance and support beyond
what we can control.
And then we move into thistransition into Aries season,
which Aries is outward movingfire.
It is when suddenly we feel achanging of the guards, a
(19:53):
shifting of the tide to wantingto start new projects, having
the motivation and inspiration.
I can tell you genuinely I amexperiencing this shift in the
recording of this episode, I'mat the very tail end of Pisces
season, so we're not actually inthat Aries fire yet, but that's
part of the value of being awareof it coming.
(20:15):
You start to feel the shiftbefore it officially happens.
You start to feel that firestarting to dry up the water and
pull you out of that.
A big part of the potency ofthat transition is how much did
you let yourself let go?
How much did you let yourselffall, dissolve, and surrender to
(20:38):
the process that is deliveringyou through to this rebirth with
Aries, we're talking aboutfeeling again, inspired,
motivated, wanting to takeaction, start new projects.
Like it's that springtimeenergy.
I'm picturing the flowers, theferns that are like spiraling
open and everything is reopeningand rising and strengthening to
(21:02):
meet the sun, and that is thepart of the wheel that we are in
now.
So in case you are still stuckin whatever Pisces season
brought you to and pulled youinto, here is your reminder,
your nudge that we have shiftedgears and you will feel much
(21:26):
more aligned if you allowyourself to shift with them, to
align with them and start to,even if it's like baby steps,
you don't need to rush theprocess, though with Aries, it's
definitely the vibe of foolsrush in, and that's okay too, of
getting some things going again.
Bringing some fresh life to oldprojects, starting new things.
(21:50):
This is a great time to takeinventory of everything that you
achieved and accomplished lastyear during the last solar cycle
and refreshing your to-do list.
I have a whiteboard that I useand I actually just went through
and erased the things that I'vealready done, redid it, have a
fresh start around all of thethings that I wanna move into
(22:11):
accomplishing now with this litup Aries fiery energy.
And I mentioned before, it'sEquinox that kicks off this
shift.
So Equinox is a time when wehave equal day and night, dark
and light, and we have that feltexperience.
It's subtle, but if you'repaying attention, you feel, and
(22:34):
so this is such a great exampleof it, transitioning from Pisces
to Aries, fire and water.
These feel like opposites in ourlived experience.
Right?
Everything that I just describedabout what it's like to go
through Pisces season and thenthis transition that we moved to
with Aries season, we couldpotentially feel a little bit of
energetic whiplash, they're sodifferent, and we make that
(22:57):
transition every year.
But because we're moving throughthis yin yang, balanced, equal
dark and light portal, it's not.
It's inviting us not to feel itas whiplash, but to feel it as a
sense of balance and a missingpiece and a welcomed antidote
(23:20):
and other side to bring in ofthe watery space we've been in.
When you drown in water for toolong, you crave the fire.
You want the dryness and theheat to warm up and evaporate
that watery space that we'vebeen in.
There's so many clues to thisstuff when you get down to the
basics of just meditating onfire and water, and then
(23:44):
bringing in that angle of, withPisces...
it's that all encompassing waterthat connects us to the beyond,
that informs us from the beyond, and that feedback loop that
creates for us through ouremotional body.
And then with Aries, we moveinto the opposite of fire.
But that outward rushingexpression of suddenly feeling
(24:07):
this rekindled flame, because wewent through the Pisces process
of reconnecting and reinforcingour relationship to where our
motivation and inspiration comesfrom.
So that then that Aries flame, that fire, that motivation, that
inspiration it's like it's beenreset.
(24:30):
So it's even more powerful thanit was before we entered into
that Pisces season.
This is your astrological reset.
Whatever that looks like foryou.
It's a reason why of coursewe've all heard of spring
cleaning, right?
That's actually the first thingwhich I partly attribute to my
Virgo moon.
This is something that alwaysworks for me, but I can tell I'm
(24:50):
coming out of a funk when Istart to feel inspired to
reorganize things.
I actually spent a weekend, which was the shift for me that
started to turn things around ofcompletely going through
everything in my kitchen.
I went through all my cabinetsand cleaned them out, switched
where everything is, I moved mycoffee bar to the other side of
(25:14):
the kitchen and my like produce, fruits, and veggies display to
the other side, just completelyrefreshed everything, so that's
something that might work foryou if you're still feeling a
little bit stuck and stagnant.
Don't force yourself to applythis energy where your mind
thinks, where you hope and wishthat it will go.
(25:34):
So if you're, if you haven'tbeen feeling motivated to do
work projects, for example, switch gears, go clean your
kitchen.
You know, it's something thatreally works.
Apply this energy somewhere thatwe can, that feels more
frictionless.
And then I can tell you that forme, I applied it to my kitchen.
(25:56):
I started putting my focusthere, kind of got my life force
energy back, getting inspired todo that.
And then right on the other sideof that, suddenly I felt so
motivated and inspired to workon projects that I had stepped
away from to get back intocontent creation after deciding
and announcing to take a weekoff from that.
(26:17):
It really is good strategy and Ihighly suggest put it where it's
easy to move it, and then fromthere it will just move into
every other part of your lifeand it'll happen naturally
without you forcing it.
This is also again, a great timeto do a seasonal review.
(26:38):
Look back on the past of whatyou've accomplished, look at
what the outliers are, get areally cleaned up and refreshed
to-do list so that you can feelexcited.
Apply that excitement energy ofAries to what you have currently
on your plate moving forward.
Really like connect with whatexcites you about what is ahead
(27:01):
is a good way to align with thefire energy of Aries season.
And basically in whatever wayfeels compelling, inspiring,
exciting to you, aim to applythis energy knowing that it's
available to you.
Leverage this energy to startnew things again, or retackle
(27:22):
old things that started to feeldead or boring, you now have
access to this refreshed lifeforce energy to apply to
whatever it is that started tofeel stale or stagnant.
Revisit those things duringAries season.
And of course it's worthmentioning that there is a
(27:43):
beautiful overlay of the naturalwheel of the year that we've
been talking about this episodeand the Gregorian calendar that
the world commonly accepts asthe business timeline that we
align to, and that is that we dotax season during this natural
(28:05):
transition.
And I'm sure you've heard metalk about before, tax season is
such an incredible opportunity.
I know this is gonna sound crazybecause most people's experience
is dread and anxiety andoverwhelm around this time of
year.
But it is truly an opportunityif you embrace it as such to
close your last financial year.
(28:27):
And it's kind of cool, right?
It's like during the naturalenergetic cycle of the refresh
of the new year, the newastrological year.
This is when we actually do ourtax return and close the last
cycle.
But the actual cycle that we'reclosing is the last calendar
year.
So y'all, these fit together.
I mean, I could talk too aboutthe tragedy and conspiracy of
(28:52):
estranging, us from the naturalcycles to use the artificially
created ones, but let's not gothere because the other thing
that we can talk about, theother angle that we can look at
is these really do fit togethernicely.
And so, don't let this seasonpass without getting caught up
in your taxes.
(29:13):
This is one of those things, ifyou avoid it, which so many
people do, embrace this Ariesenergy.
If you have not reached out yetto a tax preparer to support you
to get current with your taxes, ride the waves of this fire,
reach out, do the thing.
I have an excellent referral.
If you don't know anyonealready, you can go to
(29:34):
cosmicb.link/taxes and go andrequest your meeting with my
stellar referral.
Let this be one of those thingsthat you tackle if you are
typically in avoidance now thatwe have moved into the
motivating fire of Aries season.
I cannot recommend that highlyenough.
Now is the time.
And if that process makes yourealize that you have not been
(29:59):
on top of things and thatneglect is making this time
harder than it needs to be foryou, you know I have resources
to help you with that.
Reach out.
Let's talk about what would mostbenefit and support you.
But now is definitely the timeto make peace and amends with
(30:20):
whatever the past experienceswith money, lived experiences of
wounds, path of healing thatyou're on when it comes to your
relationship with your moneyflow.
This transition from Pisces toAries is like a jumpstart,
kickstart kind of opportunityfor you to make some moves and
(30:40):
make some progress there.
So first things first, getcurrent on your taxes, but after
that, I would love to supportyou if you are open to shifting
how this happens for you everycycle, so that this time next
year, next astrological newyear, you can feel totally
different.
It can be a 180 to what mostpeople's experience is of
(31:03):
feeling on top of your game, getting done early and getting
to focus this energy on otherthings that are actually more
exciting to you, although it isvery beneficial to leverage for
that tax time scramble, I wouldlove for it to be different for
you and not feel superstressful, and get to apply this
Aries fire to something thatactually gets your juices
(31:25):
flowing.
And with that, I hope that thisastrological new year, this airy
season, energy connects you witheverything that you're needing
to bring the balance to whateveryou experience during Pisces
season, and that you truly feelinspired and motivated to move
forward into everything that youare intending into this next
(31:50):
astro year.
