(00:00):
They say chase the dream, quityour job, go all in.

(00:03):
But they never say how tosurvive, while you begin.
You light the match, the fire'sslow, the income's not enough to
flow, and month by month youpatch the leaks, make magic
stretch, then rinse, repeat.
You feel the pull of scalingsoon, but skip the root beneath
the bloom.
The part where safety seeds theshift and clarity becomes the

(00:25):
lift.
Where bridge supports not shameor lack, but power placed to
fill the gap.
Because being real about what'strue is how you choose what next
to do.
This isn't failure, this isform.
This is the way we build thatwarmth.
So if your business isn't therequite yet, let's talk about what
gets you set.

(00:46):
This week I want to talk aboutsome things that do not get
talked about.
When it comes to the onlinespace of business, we hear so
many people talking about their10K months, their six figure
years, then seven, then eight.

(01:07):
Everything is all about scaling.
We hear about that all the time, and some people fall into the
trap of trying to set theirrevenue goals based on comparing
themselves to these other peoplethat are more well-established
in the space.
We'll get back to that.
But what happens is we'reinundated with those reflections

(01:29):
so much, particularly becausethe algorithm shows people to us
who are more established and itends up really skipping over or
minimizing or essentially notmentioning at all, the crucial
first step before you getanywhere near actually scaling,

(01:51):
which is getting to the pointwhere your business, the money
coming in from your business, funds your real life.
Funds, your current bills, yourcurrent financial
responsibilities.
Even the part before that,right?
The very real starting pointthat happens before you get to
those big, dreamy revenuenumbers, that everybody brags

(02:13):
about, of just getting to apoint of bridging the gap
between the very small amountthat comes in at the beginning,
when you first put your shingleon the digital door, to getting
to a point where you havereliable revenue coming into
your business so that you meetwhat I call your enough number,

(02:34):
that very clear amount thatcovers your current bills and
financial responsibilities.
I want you to know that if yourbusiness is not there yet, if
you are not covering that amountyet, or if you don't even know
what it is to know clearly ifyou are or not, that one, that's
not a failure, that's just beingat the beginning.

(02:56):
And that it's a signal to you toget really clear what that
amount is, if you don't alreadyknow, and to get creative in how
you support yourself to meetthat number, to meet that need,
that basic financial need, sothat you can continue working on
your business and get to a pointwhere it is bringing in that

(03:17):
revenue and bridges the gap.
In this episode, I want to talkabout this topic and also share
a personal story, get vulnerablewith you, because again, this is
not something that peopleactually talk about.
So I'm going to talk about itwith you in this episode and
share with you, for the firsttime, what this has looked like

(03:40):
for me since selling my taxpractice, plummeting my revenue,
starting back at square one, andhaving to call in and embrace
bridge jobs.
Gigs like contractor positionsto be able to bring in the money
that I need while I'm buildingmy business up.

(04:01):
I want to share with youcandidly and honestly about what
that has looked like for me,post pivot.
Then I'm also going to talkabout how to magnetize something
that, if you need that, thatdoesn't just bring in the extra
funds that you need to bridgethat gap, but actually ends up
being like a crucial steppingstone in your path to developing

(04:24):
your business and developingyourself to be able to steward
it.
And how a decision like this is,not only strategic, but can be
more aligned than you'reprobably even imagining.
But I want you to know that it'snot failing.
You're not quitting or beingnon-committal to not fully focus
on your business if it's notbringing in the revenue that you

(04:48):
need.
This is about being smart andstabilizing yourself to be able
to sustainably get to that pointin your business, so that you
can support your business sothat your business can support
you.
So let's dive in.
We're going to look at why mostrevenue goals are rooted in
comparison and how to shift intotruly personal targets.

(05:11):
The real reason your flowyincome vibe might still be
leaving you scrambling, theemotional turning point of
finally seeing if your income isreliably funding your life, and
what to do if it isn't.
What nobody admits about theearliest stages of building a
business, and why it's not adetour, but a strategy to bring

(05:33):
in other streams of income.
My story of taking on contractroles and how they shaped my
path more than any launch couldinside my business.
And lastly, a practical alignedway to manifest your own bridge
job, if you need one, by sharingwith you exactly how I've called
in my dream gigs.

(05:53):
Let's start with the"comparinitis" that is so
prevalent in the online spacebecause we are just inundated
with, not only reflections ofother people, but many of them
screaming from the rooftops, bragging about their 10K months,
their 7K yearly revenue and whythose numbers don't actually

(06:19):
mean anything, firstobjectively, but second
personally, as far as you'reconcerned.
I want to offer you the shift ofwhat it looks like to set
revenue goals that are deeplydesigned with intention from
your own needs and desires, andyour own energetic design and

(06:40):
makeup, instead of comparison.
First, just really practicallyspeaking, when you hear people
talk about their 10K months, their 7 figure years, they are
usually, almost always, talkingabout their revenue amount.
I just want to remind you thatthat number means almost
nothing.
It's the biggest one, it's themost brag worthy one.

(07:02):
So it's the one that we hearfrom other people most often,
but it's not what the bottomline is, right?
The magical, simple accountingequation is revenue minus
expenses equals profit, so theirexpense number is just as
important to understanding theactual picture of their

(07:23):
business, because that's whatresults in profit.
I'll give you the example, maybeyou have somebody that is
hitting 10K months, but they'respending like 8K on ads, so they
only have 2000 left after thatto cover all of their other
expenses.
And they're only maybe profitinga G, right?

(07:43):
You never know the full picturejust by hearing somebody's
revenue.
I want to remind you thatbecause it's the most practical
reason why you should justdisregard hearing that if you
have fallen prey to comparingyourself to those income claims
from other people.
But I don't want to dwell therebecause the point is that you
really are not doing yourself aservice by doing that anyway.

(08:07):
That is not, it's a shallow, empty, baseless goal.
There's no emotional investment,it's not rooted in anything that
actually matters to you exceptmaybe envy, jealousy, things
that we do not want to root ourgoals into.
The other thing I want to speakto here is something that is so

(08:31):
common with people, business,self-employed people in the
business space that arespiritual people that describe
themselves as"in the flow", thathave a relationship with magical
money.
There's actually a trap here formany people with a spiritualized

(08:53):
vibe around their income andtheir earning.
Often the way that this shows upis that you always have what you
need when you need it, for sure, but you don't have a consistent
or sustainable or reliableincome stream.
So there's definitely somestress and anxiety around it.

(09:14):
You never, it keeps you on yourtoes, right?
You never really necessarilyknow, am I going to have enough
this month?
I mean, a part of you does,'cause you always make it work,
that's that"magical money in theflow" side of things.
But it's not structured, it'snot intentional and it's more
like wishful magical thinkingthat manifests and provides what

(09:36):
you need when you need it.
The money sometimes shows up,there's like boom and bust.
It's kind of a surprise maybewhen the money's going to show
up.
I really want to frame for youand remind you how important
rhythm and structure are asallies to your flow.
Oftentimes people in this camphave come to me avoidant of

(10:01):
structure and rhythm and havinga consistent money practice that
they show up, for because Ithink that it's going to get in
the way of their magicalrelationship with money or their
flow.
I just want to highlight for youand remind you that just like a
river flows, just like yourcurrency wants to flow, it needs

(10:22):
the banks of the river.
It needs the structure, it needsthe consistency to be able to
grow, essentially.
Whether that looks like growingto the amount that you need, the
enough number to pay yourcurrent bills, or continuing to
grow to scale, to meet whateverthat next level is that you're
aiming for.
So often people in this camp aswell avoid looking at their

(10:47):
numbers, they don't have thestructure, the systems in place,
they don't have the regularmoney practice.
So it often ends up being aconfronting thing, although also
a very empowering thing, whenyou actually look at and really
see your numbers.
This is often the emotionalturning point for people in

(11:07):
Cosmic Currency.
They're able to actually seewhat that number is down to the
penny that they need to bebringing in to be able to fund
their life, to pay their bills,to meet their expenses, their
financial responsibilities, bothbusiness and personal.
Oftentimes, this can be a veryconfronting moment, particularly

(11:27):
if the amount that reliably iscoming in does not meet that
number.
If the amount of income that youknow is coming in every month is
less than what you need, andthere's a gap there that you
always have to kind of scrambleto be able to come up with.
Seeing that and knowing thatoftentimes can bring up anxiety,

(11:49):
feelings of failure and shame, but the cool part is on the
other side of this, of reallybeing able to face both that
number and potential gap, butalso the feelings that it brings
up in you and move through thosehonestly, and with compassion
with yourself, which is a loteasier when you're also doing so

(12:10):
in a container, with acommitment to doing the work to
establish that structure andthose practices that have been
missing for you.
This is the turning point whereany shame that you carry around
that dissolves and directs youinto really clear decisions that
you need to make.
Once you can see it, once youknow exactly what that gap is,

(12:33):
exactly what that extra amountis that you need to be bringing
in in your business, on theother side of any emotional
upset or arc that that may putyou through, on the other side
you're just really clear.
It's a prerequisite, it's animportant piece of the puzzle to
know, to be able to very clearlycall in exactly what you need,

(12:54):
to get to that point of nervoussystem calm.
Which is not anti-magic, it'sactually a quite powerful,
magical place to be in yourself,to know with certainty that you
have the amount that you needreliably coming in, and anything
else that you work toward isjust extra.
This is the first thing that Iwant to do in this episode, one

(13:15):
of the takeaways.
If you remember nothing else, Iwant to normalize that gap.
That again, is really common forpeople to notice and feel
comfortable with, normalize forthemselves.
I want you to know how commonthis is, that naming that bridge
amount shouldn't be someshameful secret, especially at

(13:37):
the beginning of building abusiness or however long you've
been in the game.
If you are not to a point offeeling sustainably abundant,
there's going to be a gap there.
And if you haven't been looking,it is not unusual that there
ends up being a gap there whenyou do look.
It's not a shameful secret, itis a opportunity to bring in

(13:59):
clear support.
And doing so, figuring out whatyou need to call in, whether
inside or outside your businessat first, to be able to bridge
that gap, is not a detour fromyour business.
It's actually a super smart moveto create the infrastructure to
support you, as you build yourbusiness.

(14:20):
This brings me to the personalshare that I want to offer you
in this episode around myexperience with this.
As you may or may not know, Iwas a tax preparer for almost a
decade.
I was at the point where I wasmaking really good money.
Almost six figures a year andwithout having to work all that
much, just seasonally.

(14:41):
I let that go.
I let it go after becoming amama and realizing I did not
want to be in that seasonalhustle and grind anymore.
I needed something that feltmore sustainable and ultimately
felt more aligned with mypurpose, my passions, which that
did not anymore.
So I let it all go, and thatalso brought with it a complete

(15:04):
crash dip of revenue andstarting over from square zero.
So what that looked like for mewas immediately calling in
something that would bring me areliable paycheck each month.
Because I knew that my businesswasn't to that point yet, and I
didn't want to put the pressureon it to get there immediately.

(15:25):
I was pivoting to reallyprioritizing my purpose and my
passions, and those aren'tthings to shove into a pressured
box of needing to bring in anyamount until that time came in
its own timing.
So I'm going to tell you at theend of this episode exactly how
I called in the perfectsituation for me, for the first

(15:49):
about year and a half of postpivot, post becoming a mama,
post letting go of my taxpractice and just starting to
get my business back off theground.
Joining a mastermind program tore-envision and really take my
time and do it right.
And that's my point.
It's so smart and strategic.

(16:10):
I wanted to take my time and Iwant to normalize that.
I want to normalize the sacredprocess that it is to pivot in
your business, to build abusiness from the ground up.
That is not something to berushed.
So bringing in something tosupport you while you take your
time around whatever yourbusiness is asking from you, or

(16:34):
life in the universe is askingfrom you as the boss and the CEO
to become the person that youneed to be to best build and
steward your new business.
It is a really smart move tocall something else in.
Not only that and something thatI really want to highlight in my
own story is if you do thisright and you do it coming from

(16:54):
this reframe and this rightplace that I'm talking about,
you will call in a situationthat basically pays you to learn
skills or missing pieces, missing skill sets that you
don't have, that you need to getto wherever you're trying to go
in your business.
The first position that I calledin y'all, it could not have been

(17:16):
more perfect.
Let me just paint the picturefor you to set the stage of
where I was at when I landedthis position.
I was a new mama, I felt superisolated.
I went from working with so manyclients to talking to like no
one.
I didn't have anyone that I wasserving.
I'm a solepreneur, I now have ateam.

(17:37):
I was, at the time, I didn'thave anybody that I was working
with and it was a lonely place.
That and I really craved, I wasdeep in breastfeeding,
postpartum and was reallycraving the balance of my
professional side and self.
And I knew that, besides themoney part, I just wasn't at the

(18:02):
point with my business, therewasn't the momentum and the
clarity to just be able toswitch to that hat very easily.
I remember part of my call outthat attracted this to me was
like, I just want someone totell me what to do.
I had the total new mom, mushybrain.
It was really hard for me to bethinking straight and clearly to

(18:25):
be directing myself inside of mybusiness.
That was a little slow going andsputter starting.
So I just wanted someone to tellme what to do so that I could
get in my flow in terms of whatmakes me a business owner, all
these things that I love to do,right?
So I did and I found a positionworking for a small marketing

(18:47):
company that was all women andmost of them mamas as well.
There was so much camaraderie, Ifelt so connected with them.
It was women in a similar stageof life to me, there was the
flexibility that I needed atthat time in my life to work
when I wanted and needed to.
Who are we kidding, that alwaysmatters to me.

(19:09):
And it was working for amarketing company, so I ended up
learning from somebody who isvery successful in the marketing
space, how to market for theirclients.
And I learned, I just, I mean, Ican't even tell you I'm so
grateful how many things Ilearned and practiced and
iterated on that I now use.

(19:32):
I'm not working for that companyanymore, but I took so much with
me that I now use in my ownbusiness.
I grew so much as a marketer, that and I had never really
worked on a team before, sothere was definitely some like
crunchy growing pains aroundthat.

(19:53):
But ultimately got to a pointwhere I felt so comfortable
working as part of a team, whichhas helped me enormously, both
in setting the stage for thenext contractor gig I would
land, which I will tell you moreabout that is even more aligned
than that one is.
Of course tis the game ofcontinuing to let our alignment

(20:14):
be our guiding light.
As we move forward, we should berefining our understanding of
and aligning even more deeplywith what we need and what works
for us.
In any case, this position atthe time could not have been
more perfect.
I got the team group dynamicvibes.
I'd meet with them everymorning, felt like I was

(20:35):
something other than a milkproduction machine when I would
meet with them and do the work.
I learned to be part of a team.
I learned to be a badassmarketer, which was just a
skillset I didn't even know Ineeded.
And of course, I had the regularrevenue flow coming in so that I

(20:55):
didn't have to stress aboutmoney and put any kind of
pressure on my business at thatbeginning super delicate stage.
It's just like a littlefledgling or a budding flower,
it needed nothing but space andgrace, and I was able to give
that to it, and myself, becauseI had landed this other gig that
I didn't even work that much.

(21:17):
10 to 15 hours a week I wouldwork for this company and it did
all of this for me and more.
So that's my first example andstory.
I also want to speak reallybriefly, circling back to the
second one, oh my goodness themagic y'all.
I dissolved my relationship withthat company.

(21:37):
Not three days later, one doorcloses, another door opens.
An opportunity came into myfield that when I saw it, I was
like this can't even be real, this isn't real life, this is
too perfect.
This is a position?
It bridged two of my mostfavorite things and it was real

(21:59):
and I put in an application andI ended up landing the gig.
It is so much more aligned.
I make more, I do things thatcould not be more aligned with
everything I'm geeking out onright now in my own business.
I still pinch myself.
I'm working with the mostincredible team, the hours also

(22:21):
are super flexible.
It's so easy to fit this inalongside everything else that
I'm doing.
I want to share so much moreabout this new thing I am
involved in now, but I'm goingto save that for a later episode
where I can just featureexclusively and gush to you
about what this new thing is.

(22:43):
Because I actually want to tellyou all about it, but I would
not be doing a service just tospeak to it briefly in the scope
of this episode.
So putting a pin in that fornow, stay tuned in a future
episode for me to tell you allabout the side gig I'm involved
in right now, which I am justbeyond obsessed with.
However, in this episode, I dowant to tell you exactly how I

(23:06):
called in and manifested thesesituations.
So that if you're in a situationlike I am, you can do the same.
You can call in something thatends up paying you to do
something you love on the sideor develop a skill that you
need, while bringing in therevenue to meet that enough
number that is going to fund thecurrent bills and

(23:29):
responsibilities in your life.
If you don't know what thatamount is, if you don't have
crystal clarity on exactly tothe dollar or penny, how much
you need to be bringing in rightnow to cover your current
subscriptions, recurringexpenses, on the personal and
business side.
Or if you do have a clearpicture of what that amount is

(23:50):
and you're sitting with theuncomfortable truth, that what
you're bringing in is notreliably funding your life right
now by meeting that amount, andyou're ready to stop white
knuckling and stressing your waythrough it to have to magically
manifest that gap every month.
If you've been secretly carryingshame for not being further

(24:14):
along in your business or moreon point with your money game,
or just wondering why the moneyside of things seems so fragile
or difficult or inconsistent inyour business, let me be the one
to tell you, I've said itbefore, I'll say it again, it's
not because you're behind, it'snot because you're bad at this,

(24:36):
it's because one, you weren'ttaught this stuff, and two, it's
kind of a good thing that youweren't, and why you are
listening to me right now, nothaving been taught this before,
because you would've doneyourself a disservice and an
injustice not to learn a waythat's designed for you.
The way the world does money isnot designed for everyone and is

(25:00):
not designed for spiritualentrepreneurs.
So simply put, you don't have asystem yet to work with your
money in a way that fits you andyour design and what's going to
work for you.
That's why inside CosmicCurrency, we start by getting
super clear what that enoughnumber is, what your life

(25:21):
actually costs you.
We support you through whateveremotions might come up around
that, because that is the ripe, fertile space for transformation
around this.
We do this through a tool thatI've created called your WPS
Tool, Wealth Positioning Systemlike GPS, but for you to get

(25:42):
super clear where you are rightnow, how much you need to be
bringing in to cover yourcurrent expenses, what your next
level is that you're aiming for, exactly how much you want to be
able to bring in to invest inthat next lifestyle upgrade or
business investment, and to besuper clear what the gap is

(26:03):
between what's coming in andwhat you need right now and
what's coming in and whereyou're headed next, so that you
can name that enough number, that stretch number and your
current position to be able tonavigate with crystal clarity to
be able to call in whateverstreams of income you need to be
able to put your nervous systemat ease and know that you are

(26:27):
able to make those numbers meet.
We really demystify and take allof this out of the realm that
you may have put it in, aroundyour self-worth or what you
deserve, and we make it a simplebalancing act, getting clear how
much you need to bring in, andmaking sure you have that amount
coming in reliably.
And of course, all along the wayas we're getting clear on this,

(26:50):
using the WPS tool and puttingall the pieces in place that you
need, what you need to be tuninginto regularly, to craft a
currency practice, a moneycheck-in that is designed around
you by bringing in your CosmicCurrency Codes, the part of your
astrology chart that reflectshow you were designed to do

(27:10):
things differently.
So the way you earn, price youroffers, structure your money
flow in all of the differentways finally aligns with you and
your unique design.
This isn't about budgetingharder to have more of what you
need, it's about creating amoney flow that you can trust
because it was designed for youand you know exactly how to show

(27:31):
up for it.
Right now we are in the finalmoments of First Light Access
for this new version of CosmicCurrency that integrates those
astrology codes.
So if you've been circlingaround this decision, if you
know that this is the time tofinally get your money shit
together, then this is themoment to go claim your spot

(27:51):
inside Cosmic Currency at FirstLight Access before things
shift, the bonuses go away, theprice goes up.
It will never be the price againthat it is right now.
You can do that by going tocosmic b.link/currency.
Go ahead and do that now.
Get it up in your phone or onyour browser so that you can
circle back to it when you havea moment to really lean in and

(28:14):
take a look at all of it.
Feel into if now is the time tofinally turn things around with
the money side of your business, that's cosmic b.link/currency.
If you know that it is time tocall something in and this
episode has you excited to callin something that is actually
going to turn you on to show upfor and is not going to feel

(28:38):
like a distraction from yourbusiness, but actually enhances
how you're able to show up forit.
I want to tell you the part ofthe story that was me calling in
both of these situations.
That both at the time were orare in the case of the current
one, exactly what I needed, bothfinancially and beyond.

(28:58):
So the first thing that I didwas just got super clear again,
how much do I need to bring in?
Exactly how much do I need tobridge that gap?
So important.
The second thing was exactly howmuch time did I have available?
And then that of courseilluminated how much did I need
to make per hour?
What would all those pieces needto look like so that I knew what

(29:19):
I was available for time-wiseand what I needed to get in
return money-wise.
The next thing I did was thoughtabout all of my skill sets, all
of the things I'm great at, allof the things I love to do, and
I wrote it all down.
What are the ways that I amavailable to support somebody
else?
What are the kinds of positionsthat I could call in?

(29:41):
The next thing that I did wasreached out to the first person
that came to mind.
I asked myself, who is somebody, what is a woman who I am just a
total fan girl of her and herbusiness that I would just be
ecstatic to be able to work for?
I reached out to her.
I let her know what I waslooking for, the piece around
just wanting someone to tell mewhat to do.

(30:03):
I let her know what my skillsetwas and I asked her if she had
any room in her company.
You might think you know wherethis story is going.
No, she is not the one thathired me.
However, she gave me a lead.
She let me know that she knewsomebody else that was looking
for a similar skillset to mine, and she made the connection, she
introduced us.
That's the woman that ended uphiring me.

(30:24):
I already told you the partabout how I landed the second
one.
It was such a magical portalthat opened, it felt like the
reason the previous situationdissolved was because this next
one was coming.
I'm sure you've had moments likethat where the universe just
clearly redirects you, that wasthe case of the second one.
But I really wanted to tell youin detail how I manifested that

(30:46):
first one, because that's howyou can too.
So it's a three part process.
Get super clear on all of thedetails.
How much time do you haveavailable?
What are your skill sets?
How much do you need to make tobridge the gap of what you're
currently bringing in to meetthe expenses of your life?
That's step one.
Step two is to make a move.

(31:07):
Whatever you feel inspired to donext, whoever you feel inspired
to reach out to, I definitelysuggest going about it the way I
did.
Think of someone you would loveto work for and just start
there.
Reach out and see if they needany help with anything.
Then step three, while trustingthat the perfect position is on
its way to you, start followingthe breadcrumb trails and see

(31:28):
where it leads you.
The universe wants you to bringin enough to meet your needs.
It's a simple balancing act.
Like I said, the universe lovesbalance.
It's not that you deserve tomake a certain amount of money,
it's that of course there is away for you to bring in what you
need to fund your life, ofcourse there is.
I want to make sure to keep thatvision even more expansive for

(31:52):
you, that it could be somethingthat you are just stoked to do
and that you learn amazingthings from, maybe you network
or connect, make connectionswith amazing people.
Y'all, the possibilities arelimitless.
If you get stoked, get clear andcall it in.
Again, I want to acknowledgethat if this episode met you in

(32:15):
a tender spot around that gapthat may be present for you
between your income andexpenses, you're not alone.
So many of us have had to getreal about the numbers before we
could free ourselves from thetrap that they seem to be
keeping us in.
That sometimes, and often, thebravest, smartest first move

(32:37):
isn't scaling faster.
It's stabilizing yourself first.
And taking the pressure off ofyour business so that it doesn't
have to carry it all for youyet.
But of course, you do deserve tobe carried and to feel carried
by clarity of your situation, bythe support of other income

(32:57):
streams if you need it, and by arhythm that actually works for
you around your money flow.
If you know you are ready tobuild that rhythm for yourself,
I would love to walk with youinside Cosmic Currency, which is
not just a money program, but afull on relationship reset.
One that holds your real lifeneeds and responsibilities, your

(33:21):
core desires around where youwould like to get to in your
life, and your unique design atthe center of it all.
You can find the link in theshow notes.
Until next time, be gentle withyourself at the beginning and
crystal clear about what enoughlooks like for you so you can
make sure to bridge any gap youhave between where you are now

(33:44):
and what it looks like to meetthat number as a new normal.
