(00:58):
You've lit up the fire, you'velearned how to feel.
You've cleared out the clutter, let your systems be real.
But growth needs more than justpassion and flow, it needs
somewhere steady, for roots togrow.
Without solid soil, the seedcan't stay, it dries or it
drifts, it's pulled away.
Structure's not a cage, it's theground that holds.
(01:19):
The seeds and the seasons yourfuture unfolds.
It's the quiet safety that letsyou expand, the map, the marker,
the piece of land.
So if you're ready to growwithout fear of the fall, let's
lay the foundation that can holdit all.
This is the fourth in theelemental series.
We kicked it off with fire tospark your strategy, then moved
(01:44):
into water to deepen yourconnection, then air gave your
mind space and your systems tobreathe, and now we arrive at
Earth.
The element that takes all thatmovement and turns it into
something sustainable andsomething that can hold and
support you.
This is the part of your moneypractice that builds the
(02:06):
container, holds the vision, andmakes sure that what you're
planting can actually grow.
A lot of entrepreneurs that cometo me resist earth because they
fear that structure will limittheir freedom.
They're soul inspired, they'reconnected to their creativity,
(02:27):
and the last thing they want issomething that's going to snub
that out to get too 3D, toogrounded, and to embrace
structure, so much so thatthings feel rigid, they feel
trapped, and they're not able tofree flow with their creativity
and their inspiration.
(02:48):
But the thing about the earthelement is, first of all, it is
so needed to bring balance toexactly these people, and
probably you if you'relistening, that's because Earth
knows that safety,responsibility, and consistency
are what actually let you gobigger without losing what
(03:10):
matters.
In this episode, we're going totalk about why structure is not
the enemy of freedom and howit's actually the container that
creates it.
How taking full responsibilityopens the door to more magic,
not less.
My Saturn return story, which isabout a time when I traded the
(03:30):
swirl for stability and how itactually made my magic stronger.
Playing by the rules of the 3Dworld, so you can win your own
game.
And the seasons and cycles asyour constant and how aligning
with them gives you somethingyou can really build on.
So first up, why structure isnot the enemy of freedom, but is
(03:53):
in fact the container thatcreates it.
There's a false belief that isall too common in the creative,
magical, soul aligned community, which is that if you put
structure in place, you willlose your flow.
Because flow is essentially thisamorphous, structureless, open,
(04:17):
free flowing thing.
The thing is, however, thatwithout structure, your flow
can't be directed.
It spills out, it gets lost, itevaporates, it disperses.
Choose your visual that landswith the metaphor that makes the
most sense for you, butstructure is absolutely
(04:39):
necessary to intentionallychannel your flow so that it can
align with and support yourintentions.
In this way, earth teaches usthat freedom actually needs
form.
Think of it, and I'll bring inthis metaphor, one that if
you've been here a while, youknow I love so much.
(04:59):
Think of the metaphor of ariver.
It's banks don't limit it, theygive it direction and force,
they create the possibility ofmomentum.
But not only that, it literallywouldn't be a river if it didn't
have those banks to contain it.
When we bring this into themoney realm, similarly, without
(05:22):
structure, you're alwaysreacting to what's in your
account instead of intentionallydirecting it.
This is why so many people, regardless of how much money is
actually coming in, have nothingto show for it.
Everything that comes in goesout.
It's a kind of urgency based,reactive, non-intentional,
(05:43):
chaotic system.
Because you're not intentionallydirecting it, and this is where
I like to refine the metaphorfrom a river to irrigation
systems.
You need to be able to have thestructure that intentionally
directs it so that you don't endup just making ends meet and you
actually have the overflow todirect toward your future,
(06:08):
toward investments, toward asavings account that offers you
a little bit of cushion, orwhatever else feels important to
you.
Whatever you want to be funding, you have to get intentional and
create the structure thatsupports the flow to make that
possible.
More broadly in business ingeneral, without systems,
(06:30):
without structure, every idea oropportunity takes so much energy
to recreate from scratch, andthis is why I am always on the
soapbox of the magical spellcasting that is SOPs that makes
it possible, that holds you tobe able to really focus on your
(06:52):
creativity, your inspiration.
Those things that flow throughyou that you love so much, you
actually end up getting takenaway from them or distracted
from them when you're constantlyhaving to reinvent the wheel of
the structure that is part oftheir expression into their
world of them becoming real.
(07:13):
But instead, if you createsystems and structure so that
you don't have to constantly beputting mental energy and actual
physical and time effort towardthose things, you really are
able to focus on what you love, your genius zone, your
inspiration, your creativity.
This is how earth's container isnot about limitation.
(07:36):
It's truly about holding spacefor the expansion of everything
that matters so much to you.
Now let's look at how takingfull responsibility, another
earth theme, grounding yourselfin time and space and being
willing to play the game here towin it your way, opens the door
(07:58):
to more magic and moreopportunity to do things your
way, not less.
Responsibility is so oftenmisunderstood as heaviness or
obligation, or again, the lossof, or opposite of freedom, but
in reality, responsibilitysignals to yourself, to the
(08:21):
universe, to Saturn, which I'mgoing to get into here in a
minute, that you can be trustedwith more.
Money loves responsibility.
The universe loves to see thatyou are responsible with your
money because money wants toflow where it will be respected
and cared for and put to gooduse.
(08:44):
This is another biggie, if your,if the money that comes to you
is.
Just for you, selfishly, you'renot going to be supported by the
universe to expand your capacityto channel more.
It's when the money that comesto you is going to serve greater
causes, other people that theuniverse is like, oh, send more
(09:07):
her way through her because it'sgoing to channel through to all
of these other places that needit.
On the flip side, avoidingresponsibility actually keeps
you in survival mode.
Where you are reacting, again, you're in that urgency mode,
you're kind of scrambling basedon whatever's right in front of
(09:27):
you.
You don't really have a plan andyou're never able to feel secure
enough to actually dream biggerand to make a plan to get
yourself to that bigger visionthat you are barely able to tune
into.
That's how these dots connect.
Your bigger dreams, your biggervisions, the places that your
(09:47):
creative mind and yourinspiration leads you to imagine
the only way that you areactually going to get there, to
make it real here, so that youcan live inside of it, is if you
ground it into the earthelement, and you get responsible
enough with your relationship tothe money that's going to fund
(10:09):
your way to get there, that youcan actualize it, and that you
can do so every step of the waythat's going to get you there.
It makes me think of thesevisual growth graphics memes
that I've seen where if you havea ladder where the rungs are too
far apart, you can't even climbit, it's not going to get you
where you want to go.
(10:30):
The rungs have to be closeenough together, and you have to
be willing to take each step upthe ladder or up the staircase,
small enough baby steps that youcan actually take each step from
here to there so that you canget there.
When it comes to responsibilitywith your money, we're talking
about having a money practicethat you ritually and
(10:52):
rhythmically tune into whereyour awareness is where it needs
to be, so you know what's comingin, you know what's going out,
and you're able to makedecisions ahead of time of how
that's all going to flow andfunction so that it supports
those bigger visions.
This all highlights the paradoxthat the more grounded you are,
(11:16):
the more consistent you are, themore room you actually create
for yourself to be able to play,to create, to call in magic, and
to have the kind of white spacethat you really want to create
the freedom lifestyle that youstarted this whole thing for in
the first place.
(11:36):
This brings us to my Saturnreturn story, where I traded the
swirl for stability and how itreally did make my magic
stronger.
So at one point I was fully inthe swirl, which is something
that we called just beingabsolutely available for
(11:56):
whatever we felt called frommoment to moment, wherever the
party was, wherever the peoplewere, whatever inspired me in
the moment to move toward.
This is a time when I lived in avan, so it was really easy to
do.
Relatively, very much lessgrounded than I am now having a
home.
(12:17):
I had a rotation that I didbetween transformational music
festivals and hot springs torecover and trim scenes where I
would go and work for a coupleweeks at a time to make a stack
of cash and basically justrepeated that rinse and repeat
(12:37):
cycle over and over as neededand as I felt called every step
of the way.
Honestly, it was a special time.
I felt really connected to myintuition, to the cosmic
energies and tides that I wasriding, and really to endless
freedom, but I had no roots andI was very ungrounded.
(12:59):
And because I was always just onfrom one thing to the next, to
the next, I didn't have a homebase in myself really to be able
to truly rest or integrate.
I was always on the move, alwaysin the flow, always in the
swirl.
This sets the stage forsomething that I found out is
actually less common for manyand was a bit of a reverse
(13:24):
spiritual awakening.
Most people are more rooted inthe 3D and groomed in the way
this world has a tendency togroom us and then they have a
spiritual awakening that is moreout of the 3D into 4D, 5D
discovering themselves, thecosmic energies, all these
(13:45):
things, right?
Typically, it's in thatdirection.
My Saturn return was myspiritual awakening and went in
the opposite direction becauseas I've described the stage set
here, I was very much not in 3D,not rooted in 3D.
And then Saturn came during mySaturn return, and it was such a
(14:07):
clear guidance, such a clearmessage and opportunity and
invitation essentially, that Ihad to consent to, to put this
all in motion.
Which was to retire my van life, get a home, get grounded, start
my tax practice, and becomefinancially and structurally
(14:29):
responsible to be able to groundthe magic that I had been
exploring.
Basically, the message was thatI could keep going out there
seeking it, or I could finallyground myself to be a receiver
of it here.
As you can probably imagine, itwas a bit surprising.
To some it might've seemed likeselling out, but what actually
(14:52):
happened for me was my nervoussystem was able to relax, my
creativity was able to massivelydeepen because it wasn't being
applied to constantly figuringout where my next move was.
My cosmic connection felt somuch more potent because it
actually had a groundedcontainer to receive it.
(15:14):
In short, I became so much moreof the potential me, and that's
the earth element's gift.
When your energy has a home, itcan expand in ways that you just
can't when you're ungrounded orun rooted.
So much of this was getting morereal, more serious, more
(15:35):
Saturn-like and grown up aroundmy relationship with money,
starting my tax practice.
If you've been feeling like yourrelationship to money, whatever
your current money practice is,is just kind of making it work
as you go along, making it upand making it work month to
month, or that you just can'tseem to build the kind of
(15:56):
stability that you need toreally grow into the version of
you that you're feeling calledto in this season of your life.
It's time to ground.
That's exactly what CosmicCurrency is for.
It's my signature program thatweaves your astrological design
with the grounded systems andfinancial structure that lets
(16:18):
you feel safe and expansive.
Inside of it, together with myone-to-one support, you'll
create a money practice that notonly works in the 3D world, aka
is compliant, but also feelsaligned with the deepest truth
of who you are and allows you toset up systems so that you feel
(16:39):
successful in your business andyou're able to through it fund
what really matters to you.
If you have yet to get the moneystuff and money side of your
business sorted, I would love tosupport you to start building
your foundation inside of CosmicCurrency.

(17:01):
Because as a former tax preparerof almost a decade, one of my
favorite expressions was pay toplay.
You have to be willing to playby the rules of the 3D game, of
this world when it comes tobeing a business owner, which in
this case involves paying taxesand setting up systems that
(17:22):
maybe you've otherwise, up untilnow had an allergy to and an
aversion to.
But you do this and you makethis decision to truly ground
into and commit to being hereand playing the game here so
that you can expand into theversion of yourself that this
world needs and feel like you'rewinning your own game.
(17:43):
Because money is just energy, but it's also part of the
physical systems of this world.
It truly is the bridge when itcomes to business between the
energetic and the materialrealms.
Ignoring the rules of the game, which was so often the case for
people that ended up finallycoming to me to do their taxes
(18:05):
when I was a tax preparer, doesn't actually free you from
those rules.
It just puts you at adisadvantage and sets you up to
possibly get into some veryexpensive trouble should you get
audited.
By actually learning the basics, and it is quite basic, your
avoidance has maybe made it seemlike something much bigger than
(18:26):
it is, of taxes and financialtracking and the kind of legal
structures that you need to havein place to support your
business entity.
They give you leverage, they arethe foundation from which you
are able to create all of thethings that you envision your
business making possible.
The earth element invites you tosee those tools, not as
(18:49):
constraints, but as levers thatsupport your purpose.
That's why the more fluently youare able to operate in these 3D
systems, the more resources youcan channel toward the things
that you care about through youand to everything that matters.
But the cool thing is when youwork with me, you don't have to
(19:10):
do this in the boring, stuffyway that's been a total turnoff
to you until this point.
Because when it comes to thecosmic weather and the snapshot
of that weather that is yourbirth chart and your design, the
seasons, the cycles, your birthchart, these become things you
(19:30):
can also root into into the 3D,to simultaneously stay aligned
with the flow, with the truth ofwho you are and what feels
aligned for you, and throughthat alignment, you're able to
build in a way that feels like amatch to your magic and those
(19:51):
realms that you don't want tohave to give up to embrace the
money stuff.
The tool that I use is WesternAstrology.
One big reason for preferringthis system and the Tropical
Zodiac, is that it's anchored inthe unchanging rhythm of the
seasons.
Which indeed is a bit of aparadox because the seasons are
(20:13):
always shifting, but when itcomes to mapping the cosmos,
which is always expanding, youhave to choose something that
you're going to call constant.
Because everything is relativeto everything else, and it's
always moving.
This is just a brief littlelesson of the difference between
Vedic and Western, which bothabsolutely have their merits.
(20:34):
One of the differences though,is that Vedic takes the star
backdrop and the constellationand the fixed stars as what's
constant and unchanging, Westernroots into the constant of the
seasons.
One reason I love this so muchis because it's the reason why
we know Aries feels like spring, and we know what that feels
(20:57):
like.
Capricorn feels like winter, andthat has a feeling too because
these seasons, these Zodiacseasons are also anchored into
our earth seasons.
Earth energy absolutely thriveson these seasonal cycles of
planting, growing, harvesting,and resting.
(21:17):
When you align your business andyour money rhythms with these
natural patterns that are allpart of what created you and the
unique design that you embodythrough, it creates a kind of
predictability without rigidity.
It truly is the sweet spot ofthat paradox.
(21:38):
It gives you a living, breathingfoundation that feels like
alignment.
It's steady enough to hold you,but it's adaptable enough to
move with change and move withyou.
The thing about business and howyour money moves, it is not
static, and it is not a linearprogress either, right?
(21:58):
The earth element is here toremind you that your foundation
is not fixed in concrete.
It's alive, it's seasonal, andit's regenerative just like the
seasons, just like the mooncycles, and just like your own
personal cycles.
So if you take nothing away fromthis episode, remember that
(22:20):
earth grounding systems,structures, responsibility, it
is all meant to be a living, breathing, dynamic part of you,
expression and extension of youthat is supportive to all of the
things that you want to makereal through your business in
(22:40):
this world.
Grounding into it is such animportant precursor to the
rising, the expansion.
So much of what we talked aboutin all of the elements that
preceded this one in thisseries.
Roots before rise.
Structure before expansion.
Earth is not here to limit you,it is here to hold you, and your
(23:04):
magic wants to take root and tofeel supported by the soil of
the ground, it is meant to growin.
If you're ready to build a moneypractice that is safe enough to
hold your biggest visions, stepinside Cosmic Currency and let's
grow it together atcosmicb.link/currency.
(23:26):
Because until you have the moneystuff dialed when it comes to
your business, it's hard for itto really feel real or to
co-create it to be the vehiclethat's going to take you the
distance into the bigger dreamsthat you're holding.
I will catch you in the next onefor the last episode of this
series, the Ether Element
