As far as setting the stage,let's just think back to what
2020 did to business and theonline space and the shifts, the

Covid happened, the online spacejust got flooded with new
businesses.
New content, new creators,because there was literally
nothing else we could do, stuckin our homes, right?
This created a flood in themarket, in our feeds, and what

this left us with is attentionfatigue.
There was so much, so fast forus to now have to see and
process.
Automation, the only way that wecould keep up with the amount of
content that needed to becreated to be consistent and

present and visible in the newonline space, required new tools
to be able to make thatefficient.
Audience trust was affectedbecause now suddenly everyone
was trying their hand at gettingyour attention and trying to get
that sale, and we could feelthat, right?
We didn't anymore know whethersomebody was coming from a

genuine place of havingdeveloped a body of work and
through their sales process,through their ads, trying to get
us to see and connect with thatwe really needed what they had
to offer.
Versus people that were justfollowing a trend and a template
to have the right visual andhook to get your attention to

Of course, based on the thingsthat you did purchase, if you
got things that were in thatsecond category, you had that
feeling of buyer's remorse,maybe over and over agAIn, of
having purchased somethingbecause the advertising got you,
but the substance wasn't therewhen you went to actually

experience the offer.
With that, another thing that wewere left with is a point in the
arc that we're riding with this,where it's like certAIn quote
codes have been cracked, peoplehave found the things that have
worked and now copy, paste,paste, paste, paste, there are
just so many repeats,duplicates, just the same old

We're bored.
Of course since then, AI hasentered the stage in a huge
integrated way, we're busierthan ever.
So the people whose attentionyou are trying to grab has even
less bandwidth for what you'reputting in front of them.
With that stage set, thisepisode is intended to be a

different kind of forecast, notso much for prediction, but for
preparation of what it's goingto take to really win moving
into the next season of onlinebusiness.
First, let's talk about thetrend toward trust over
transaction.
I did a previous episode talkingabout the trust recession, in

we're heading, while, yes, it isnot as easy to win someone over
as it used to be, is actually astep in a positive direction.
The theme here, and what hascome out of this phenomenon, is
going to be the return of realrelationship in business.

Yeah, the easy sale era of 2020and the ripple from it is over.
No longer can you just fart andmake money, but I really do
believe that that is a goodthing.
It used to be that there wasseven touch points they sAId
before somebody was ready tobuy, now it is 30 plus.

That's because people actuallyneed genuine resonance now,
before investing in your offer.
They need multiple touch points,way more than they did before,
to get to that point, and theyhave a slower decision cycle.
I want to relate this torelationship like in dating.

The way it was before whensomebody would just see what you
had and hit buy, I would equatemore to like an OnlyFans
account, where nobody has aconnection with you.
They just see you and gawk atyou and want what you've got.
Versus the kind of relationshipthat is now a prerequisite to

actually have to like date you.
A relationship needs to beactually established so that by
the time they hit go, there's avibe, there's a resonance,
there's a real relationship.

That pendulum has swung.
We've gone from click to buy, toconnect to build and grow.

Automation is how we do this,there are so many ways and
tools, but basically the crux ofit is that it is an approach

The reframe here, because I knowthat people, many people are
tech averse, is that automationisn't hard.
The thing with it is that ittakes more time at the front end

consistent presence.
