much more was rewritten byeverything that happened after.

As humans, we love to split lifeinto binaries, fate or free
will, nature or nurture,strategy or soul.
But Scorpio's medicine is in thesynthesis of whatever those

seemingly opposite orconflicting parts are, they all
want to be brought in andincluded like symbiosis into the
complex beings that we actuallyare.
In this episode I'm focusing onthis bridge between nature and
nurture.
Where nature is that imprint ofthe energetics of your first

breath, as reflected in yourastrology chart.
This is your cosmic design thatis a big part of what shaped
you.
On the other side, nurture, thisis the sum total accumulation of
your choices, your experiences,and the influences that shaped

who you are, who you became, howyou express yourself, all of it.
Ultimately evolution, which isthis force by which we are able
to grow and change and transforminto new versions of ourselves.
We're not just stuck or limitedby the design of our chart, nor

(05:43):
are we stuck or limited to liveout whatever version of ourself
was shaped during ourdevelopment.
The principle of evolution istranscend and include.
It's this and include part thatScorpio loves to remind us about
because you have to take it allwith you.

You can't escape yourself or anypart of yourself.
It all needs to be brought tothe light of awareness and
integrated into the version ofyou that you carry forward.
I have a lot of Scorpio in me,Scorpio south node rising,
Saturn and Pluto.
It is such a big part of mydesign and operating system, and

a big reason why I love thestory arc.
It's infused into so much abouthow I support clients in Cosmic
Currency.
We start out with the FinanceFable, which I'll talk more
about in a minute, but there'sjust something so powerful about
framing a story arc that takesyou from where you've been and

what shaped you, through theversion of you are in this
moment being able to evenconceive of the story and the
arc that carries you to whereyou want to go.
All of those pieces are part ofit, the most powerful
transformations or storiesfollow a plot arc where there is

that setup, there's a climax anda catharsis for change, and then
there's a resolution.
There's a making it to the otherside.
We're always somewhere in thatarc and life would not be nearly
as interesting, nor would anystory, movie, or book you've
ever come across if it didn'tfollow an arc like that.

If it didn't start somewherenon-ideal, potentially as the
setup and take us through atransformation to get where we
want to go, your life isfollowing an arc like that too.
This power of story is soimportant, the surrendering to
living the plot and playing itout, not wanting to just

(07:57):
transcend or bypass or skipwhatever your unique setup is.
We love the climax, but weresist the setup, right?
We want the change, but we don'twant to acknowledge and accept
what we're changing from, thatmessy human part where contrast

(08:20):
and conflict live, that's thejuicy stuff, that's what makes
the story worth telling.
I mentioned in Cosmic Currency,this is where we start with the
Finance Fable.
You start by tracking your moneyrelationship as a story so that
you can fully accept, allow, andintegrate where you were, where

(08:43):
you've been, the influences thatwere beyond your control,
whether we're talking about themoment you were born and the way
that that imprinted on you, orthe influences that were not up
to you when you were young.
None of this was your choice,but it is your responsibility to
accept and integrate those toalign with a path forward that

(09:06):
you can now choose.
That Finance Fable story that weinfuse with myth and magic to
make it more archetypal andreally speak to the unconscious
and massage the nervous systemto be able to release its grip
from protecting you from thechange that you're calling in,

takes you from where you were,to where you are, to where
you're headed with clarity, withawareness, with a willingness to
really look at the from whereyou were part.
When you see your finances inthis way, I mean, is there an
area that is more gunked up withlike past bullshit that shapes

what's possible for us now?
Money is such a powerful placeto apply this and do this work
because when you see yourfinances this way, any shame
that you're holding, whichlogically is totally irrational,
because again, none of this wasin your control, and yet the
shame lives.

The shame maintains for all theways that you've then shown up
since, stuck in repeating thosesame patterns.
That shame turns to thestructure and the scaffolding
for something new.
The deep meaning that comes fromconnecting those past, present,

(10:33):
future dots is palpable, isanything but the dry and boring
that is part of most financialteachings.
This stuff should be deeplymeaningful to you.
From the deep undercurrents thatexists there around your past
with money to the like deepdesires that you hold for what

(10:55):
you want money to make possiblefor you and for your family.
Again, most money work, mostmoney guidance completely fails
because it ignores this part.
It skips the narrative, it skipsthese deeply rooted meaningful
parts of our experience tryingto just fix behavior, without

(11:18):
honoring the story behind it.
So let's start with the natureside of the spectrum, that
divine design you were born withthat shaped you.
Astrology shows the blueprint ofhow energy wants to move through
you as a reflection of like asnapshot of the energetic matrix

(11:42):
that was your first breath, thatyou breathed into you and
touched and shaped every cell inyour body.
Before you would come to knowthe shifting landscape of how
energy moves, you had this firstmoment, this home base
familiarity with the energeticmatrix that we can see from your

(12:04):
birth chart that shows pathways,keys, codes to your innate
rhythms for giving, receiving,stabilizing, expanding, all of
it.
In this way, your codes, yourastrology doesn't box you in.
I've never been a fan of usingit this way.

It is a tool that reveals thecurrent you flow best in.
The way that you are designed toreceive, move, and ground
energy.
So the invitation isn't to fixyourself, but to use yourself
essentially, and to give everypart of you, that's part of that

energetic matrix, a job, apurpose that serves your bigger
purpose, your bigger aim andintention.
That's why in Cosmic Currency,your Cosmic Codes are the map.
This is the nature half of theequation that grounds all future
change and makes it possible ina way that really sticks, that

feels aligned with what reallymatters for you and ends up
bringing you closer to who youare, not further from it to fit
into somebody's mold, whichthere are plenty of those out
there when it comes to how to domoney.
You may know pieces of thenature side of the equation for

you through your astrology.
You likely know your sun sign,that's your zodiac sign.
Maybe you also know the othertwo of your big three, your moon
and rising.
But do you know where you areright now with money?
This is the other side of theequation, the nurture side of
it, the part that really shiftsand changes over time.

of areas of our life.
You're probably most familiarwith this concept when it comes
to intimate relating, whetheryou lean anxious attached,

avoidant, or disorganized, or ifyou're one of the lucky ones and
lean toward secure attachment.
But did you know that you haveone of these for your
relationship with money too.
It's probably not the same oneas your intimate relating
tendency.
It has everything to do with theother side of the spectrum here,

the nurture, the influences, theexamples that you had and often
shines a light on unconsciouspatterns that you weren't even
aware of that have been playingout with your relationship to
your money.
It reflects that nurture side ofthe equation that's there, but

you might not be aware of andshows you the attachment style
that shows how your historyshows up now as your habits.
And again, it's not fixed itchanges over time, especially if
you deliberately and consciouslylean in to change it.
It is a feedback to show you thechapter that you're currently in

(15:27):
with money, and if you're one ofthe first three, that awareness
can help show you the wayclearly next steps to take to
move towards secure attachment,which with money translates as
financial security.

This nurture side of thespectrum is so important.

Equally so, in my opinion, tothe nature side of it with your
cosmic design.
It develops through the learnedpatterns that continue to stay
with you to the present moment.
This could be your conditioning,your family systems, cultural

money myths that were imprintedon you and can include whatever
your learned language of safety,or lack of, scarcity is that you
have internalized.
When it comes to all of thatstuff, that again, you can't
control what they were, theyweren't up to you, but it is in

(16:54):
your control now to face them,to become aware of them, and to
integrate them, repurpose them,to support you with your aim
moving forward.
These patterns don't needpunishment, and often if you
have an unconscious relationshipto them, that's probably exactly
what you've been doing withoutrealizing it.

(17:16):
What they really need is yourpresence, so that through that
awareness you can forgive them,forgive the people that passed
them on to you.
Love them, love those parts ofyourself that ideally have the
best of intentions from theirlimited vantage point.
They're probably just trying toprotect you and the best way

(17:40):
they know how.
To then find their function.
Tell them you're in charge herenow they don't need to do that
anymore, it's not actuallyserving or supporting you and
find a way that they can serveyou better, that they can use
those, the same skillset, thesame motivation, point it in a

(18:01):
different direction that'saligned with what you are
motivated to achieve, thedirection that you want to go.
Through that reassignment, yougive those parts new jobs that
support the person you arebecoming.
You liberate them from keepingyou in the holding pattern of
the person you have been.

(18:22):
When you do this, the chaosbecomes some kind of
choreography, right?
You bring everyone together ontothe same team to support a
rhythm that actually works andsupports the causes that matter
to you.
But the real magic happens inthe integration where both of

(18:47):
these come together for a commoncause.
This is where Scorpio's realm ofalchemy happens, where the
merging of the nature side ofyour design and the nurture side
of what influenced yourdevelopment gets stirred
together in a cauldron and turnsinto embodied wisdom.

Inside Cosmic Currency I like tosay that that is where structure
becomes spell work, where you'reable to craft the systems that
both honor your design thatshaped you on the nature side
and your current capacity that'sreflected through your honesty
of the nurture side.

Obviously, this is not the casejust with money, these are
principles to live and grow by,because within and beyond the
realms of money integration isthe universal technology of
transformation.
Where awareness and compassioncome together through the rhythm

of practice to make thingspossible those smaller parts of
you never would have thoughtcould be.
It's a special kind of magicwhen you honor both your wiring
and your history, when you bringit all with you, when you bring
it to the light of day, when youpresence it all together, you're

like, yo, I have thesetendencies based on the way that
I was wired and the way that Iwas influenced by the people
around me.
These were the cards, the starsthat I was dealt, and they
become the raw material that youthen have to work with in your
own alchemical process to turnthem into the version of you

that you envision and to be ableto reach the places, the
lifestyle, the income levelsthat you fantasize about.
When you bring those things in,there's certain things where
you're like, oh, that makessense, I have the example a
client just gave me the feedbackafter hearing one of her Cosmic

(21:02):
Codes,"I have to laugh when yousay that the chaos has been
preparing me for future success,I wish there was an easier way",
right?
There's these parts of us whereit's like, for better or for
worse, this is how you are, andthere's some things we can
change, some things we can't,but the prerequisite to changing
anything is first to fullyaccept who and how you are right

(21:27):
now, what got you here, becausethat's the only way you're going
to be able to take it all withyou to actually change into the
future version of you that youare calling in and crafting you
and your life to become.
Bringing it all back to the coreof the story through line, the

(21:48):
narrative arc that makes theshifts and changes and growth in
our life actually meansomething.
If you're feeling ready to makea change, you're not starting
over, you're never startingover, you're always writing
forward, transcend and include.
It's the only way to trulyevolve with all parts of you and

(22:11):
though Scorpio season will soonfade, the magic that it shows us
and hopefully leaves you with ishere to stay, and that is that
the awareness of all of yourparts, whether the ones that
nature started you with ornurture massaged into you,
that's the doorway to actuallasting renewal.

(22:35):
The reason that integratingthose parts is so important is
because it's not the end of astory, that's what makes it the
beginning of a new one.
It's the moment that you realizeyou are the author, you are the
creator of your reality and thedirection it takes you next.
You are the one holding the pen.

(22:57):
Something else I hope you takefrom this episode is that
wholeness is wealth.
When we talk about the moneystuff, you might be thinking
about like bottom lines anddollars, but ultimately we're
talking about wealth, abundance,the phenomenon by which energy
moves through you the way youwere designed.

Whether that's manifestmaterially as money or love or
passion, or any of these thingsmoving through you.
Ultimately a wholeness aroundthat, being aligned with your
design, bringing all of yourparts together to the table and
the team is what is going tomake any of it feel the most

fulfilling.
Every part of you belongs inwhat's next, in what's coming,
in what you're calling in.
