Kimberly Kelly in a Country Music artist and songwriter who recently released her new album "I'll Tell You What's Gonna Happen". Kimberly joins Country Music Made Me to discuss the musical family member's who have inspired her journey, like her Grandpa who played in the Country Music outfit "Sterling Lee and the Hearts", and her Dad and Uncles who ran within the local music scene before they settled down to focus on raising their families. Kimberly and Brendan talk about her pageant days, the school performances that made her realize she could sing, and how attending the Commercial Music Program at McLennan Community College inspired her to chase a career in Country Music. Kimberly explains the events that led her to Nashville, like being discovered early on by Texas Country Music Hall of Fame member Billy Joe Shaver and singing background harmonies for her sister while on tour with the likes of Brad Paisley. Finally, Kimberly talks about the experiences in Nashville that have led to signing with Toby Keith's Show Dog Nashville record label, working along side and becoming friends with her hero's like Steve Wariner and Erin Enderlin, and releasing her latest album "I'll Tell You What's Gonna happen".
