Welcome Back to Cozy Womb podcast, season 21 is about Reforming the American Education System: A Call for Change to Better Serve Our Children. It will Start In Sept 2025. The American education system is often celebrated for its diversity and the opportunities it provides to students. Yet, a closer look reveals a need for significant reforms. Our education system faces challenges that hinder the development of our children. This season I will discuss current limitations in our education system, the impact on students, and essential changes needed to create a robust learning environment. A lot of our children graduate and cannot perform common life skills. There is no reason Why a child got to high school struggling with 3rd grade English and math basic skills. The American education system comprises public and private institutions, catering to millions of students from various backgrounds. Despite advancements in technology and curriculum, fundamental issues persist. In many districts, schools in the highest poverty areas receive about $1,000 less per student than those in more affluent areas. This inequity perpetuates a cycle of disadvantage that is difficult to escape. The limitations of the education system can profoundly affect children. A one-size-fits-all approach fails to address individual learning styles and needs, leading to many students feeling disengaged and undervalued. Moreover, the pressure to excel on standardized tests stifles creativity and critical thinking. Instead of fostering intrinsic motivation, many students resort to rote memorization, leaving them unprepared for real-world challenges. In this season I will discuss: We Have to Address Inequality Curriculum Overhaul Embracing Technology and Innovative Teaching Methods Build Stronger Community Involvement Prioritizing Mental Health and Well-being A Bright Future Requires Action Now Follow us on Chan & Pods channel Subscribe to the show on YT and on your podcast app https://www.bonfire.com/store/the-chanbepoddin-spot/ https://www.youtube.com/@chanpods TikTok: @chanbepoddin Instagram @Theczywmbpodcast X @theczywmbpod #parentinginabetterway . https://www.chanbepoddin.com/cozy-womb
Everyone knows that the school system is not working for the kids and it’s not working for the teachers. But every state wants to Band-Aid the issue. In this episode, I discussed the fact that teachers are burnt out from the process of teaching and the lack of support because they were brought into a system That has already been burnt out. The way that it has been created to function does not work.

What is the problem?
Most of our food isn’t real, do y'all know how much food Americans toss on a daily basis!?!
Americans throw out so much food daily.
Businesses toss food at the end of the day... Why can't the government make sure kids in schools have free lunch?
It has to be because they just don't want to.

The Curriculum we have in America is dusty in most schools and should be revamped. This hierarchy of teaching poor kids vs rich is the start of classism. If we want better for all kids lets start educating all children better.

Are the kids retaining the teaching? Are you just playing with kids anxiety?
Standardized testing isn't a great measurement tool in my opinion.
Standardized testing has been a significant part of the American education framework, but it does not meet the diverse needs of our children. From its rigid approach to the stress it generates, the inequities it reinforces, and its preference for memorization, standardized testing often f...

If we want kids that are self starters, we have to give them the space to start themselves. We cannot be in a household, where we wash all their clothes, clean their bathroom all the time, and wash the dishes all the time or go in their rooms to clean it up. Kids become better adults when they grow up with structure and rules in a standard. As parents, before a child can lead outside of the home, we have to create spaces for them t...
If the kids can't read, what will they do in life? If the kids can't read, where would they go? If the kids can read, how would they be able to explain things that are happening to them or the things that they want? If the kids can't read how far will their imaginations go? If the kids cannot read how high will their confidence get?
