(00:21):
you haven't already, hit thatfollow button wherever you're
listening, and let's get intoit.
Hey, everyone, and welcome back. The fall
lacrosse season is heating up.The NLL is making headlines, and
tournaments are already bringingsome chaos. The latest NLL
contract drama, big transfermoves, shocking college

(00:42):
lacrosse, and gear spotlight onthe warrior face off head. Let's
get into it.
The biggest story in prolacrosse right now is what we
got going on in the NLO. As ofearly October, the league and
players association are stilltrying to hammer out a deal and
things aren't going smoothly. The real talk is if that an

(01:05):
agreement doesn't happen soon, could the start of the season
could be delayed or evencanceled? That might sound
extreme, but that has happenedbefore. Few years ago,
negotiations went sideways, andthe league had to postpone
games.
Players lost pay fans, lostgames, and momentum took a hit.

(01:27):
Nobody wants to see that happenagain, especially not fans
who've got already boughttickets. And, yeah, I'm one of
those Vancouver Warriors. I'vegotten my tickets ready to go,
and I cannot wait for the firsthome game of the NLL season.
It's supposed to kick off inDecember, and everything goes to
plan, we'll get that to see theWarriors face off at Rogers

(01:51):
Arena.
That's my first game day energy. The music, the crowd, the smell
of the turf, popcorn, it'sunbeatable. So here, hoping that
the CBA gets signed soon becausemissed note on the season would
be a huge loss for everyone.Coming up, we will talk about
what's happening in the collegelacrosse, including some massive

(02:13):
transfers. College has beenbuzzing this month.
Inside Lacrosse has releasedtheir new top 25 rankings for
2025. There are some seriousmovement. Maryland have landed
the number one transfer classagain, bringing in five major
players, including one of thetop face off guys from Vermont,

(02:37):
who's won over 75% of his drawslast season. That's wild. Other
programs are making big movesright now.
Virginia, John Hopkins,Syracuse, and other reshuffling
around their rosters for anotherchampionship run. Some players
are transferring, well, close tohome, while some others are

(03:01):
really trying their systemswhile they can really shine.
It's cool to see how fast thecollege game is evolving. It's
all about fit, not just namerecognition anymore. As for me,
I've been trying to convince myparents to take me to a college
game this season.
There aren't a lot of teamsclose to Western Canada, so it's

(03:21):
tough to sell. I'm working onit. Seeing Notre Dame, Ohio
State, or Duke is on my bucketlist. So stay tuned if I can
make that happen. CreaseMonsters had made has made an
update.
We have our own website now,uww.creasemonsters.com. Next up,

(03:42):
tournament talk. We're breakingdown why pool play can make or
break your weekend even if yougo undefeated. So let's talk
about tournaments for a sec.Everyone knows that sometimes
the biggest challenge is aweekend tournament.
It isn't even other teams. It'show pools are set up. Last
tournament, my team and I wenttwo and o in pool play, and

(04:05):
there's a chance we might notmake it. The semifinals because
we hadn't won by enough. Yeah.
That was real. Such a weirdvibe. In the end, it all worked
out, but by every goal counts. You can't just win. You've got
to win decisively.
Can be a difference betweenplaying for a medal or packing

(04:28):
your gear early. Alright. One ofmy favorite parts of the show,
gear talk. Today, we arebreaking down the warrior burn
face off head. Every face offguy needs to check out this one.
The warrior burn face off headis one of the most popular
choices for face off guys rightnow. It's designed for the grind

(04:50):
of the circle. One side of thehead is slightly more flexible,
which helps when you're clampingdown on the ball or when your
other side is stiffer to givemore control when you're popping
it out. It's all about that raildesign, which gives players both
strength and speed. Becauseyou've got ever lost a face off

(05:12):
because your head warped after abattle?
The thing is, it was made to fixthat. Burn face off recovery is
a special resin that helps thehead bounce back to shape after
it was twisted, basically, lesswarping more consistently. If
you're screwing it up, I'drecommend going with a mid high
pocket. We all know I like armand mesh. You can still flex

(05:36):
when you need it still, but holdyour control for passes and
quick shots.
Smart, well built head. And ifyou haven't checked one out,
this is your sign. Before wewrap things up, let's talk about
a few players making headlinesright now. These guys are
dominating the highlight reels.First up, CJ Kirst from Cornell.
He had just had one of the bestseasons ever. He broke NCAA

(06:02):
career goals record with 247.Yeah. That's right. Tied this
single season marked with 82 andled Cornell to its first ever
national tight titles indecades.
No surprise. He went firstoverall draft in the NLL draft.
That's what what happens whenyou put in the work every day,

(06:25):
back it up every game. And overthe PL, there's been some big
roster news. Rob Pannell hasjust signed with the Maryland
Whipsnakes, a huge pickup thatcould totally change how the
team plays.
Next season, the PLL off seasonmight be quiet for some fans,
but moves like that keepeveryone watching. Alright.

(06:46):
That's a quick wrap. Before wego, the NLL contract solution is
still tense, but we are hopingfor good news. College programs
are loading up.
Tournament is always play, andthe gear in the world, the
warrior face off head, continuesto lead the pack. Until next
time. Keep it clean. Play hard.Hit your drums.

(07:10):
