While her background is in Criminal Justice, Kate always had a passion for theater. Her love, stemming back to the 6th grade, was awakened by her interest in taking on a new hobby. Reaching back to an activity that brought her joy has morphed into an entire create yourself stratosphere. Kate DeSessions is a writer and producer based in Memphis, Tennessee. Kate wrote and directed her debut film, "Shattered," which was chosen as one of the Top 10 films to compete for the Memphis Film Prize in 2021. With a long history of acting on stage and in film, Kate is best known for her roles in Close Caption and Cubic Zirconia. Her writing credits include A Mary Little Christmas and Colorado Christmas. Her love for the industry propelled her to begin producing films such as Merry Birthday, Happy Christmas and A Mary Little Christmas with Enchanted Valley Productions and Chestnut Tree Films.
