Whether building his business or starting a new school project, David speaks about the importance of listening and learning from those around him.

When starting new projects, David and his team involve educators and students early, forming focus groups to understand their experiences and needs firsthand. This approach enables them to create spaces that truly fit the learners. David shares emerging trends in the industry, like soft, flexible seating, creating cozy nooks and niches, and encouraging group learning.

He is a die-hard Washington Commanders football fan, loves traveling, and spends his Sundays worshiping and teaching Bible study at Woodlake United Methodist Church.
