So let's talk about confidence.
On a scale of one to ten, howconfident do you feel that you
will fill your high ticket offerthis month, this quarter, this

(02:37):
year, and notice what comes upfor you around that question?
Because confidence is somethingthat you simply have to have.
It's a skill set, it's a habitsystem, it's a belief system,
it's an energetic state and wayof being, and this is the most

(03:00):
game-changing truth.
Is it a choice?
And this was one of my veryfirst lessons when I started
working on my mindset, because Iwanted to make more money in my
business.
I write about this in my book, the Six-Figure Creatives Heal
your Relationship with MoneyDoing the Work that you Love.
About how one of my very firstbusiness coaches, about how one

(03:26):
of my very first businesscoaches, emily Williams, I
joined her mindset membershipand the first lesson was about
how confidence is a choice andthat just blew my mind.
I was like, oh, I didn'trealize I could just choose to
be confident.
Obviously it can go veryin-depth and there's very many
very real, very good reasons whyconfidence can feel
unattainable or far reaching ordifficult to maintain,

(03:51):
especially as entrepreneurs, because we're always learning
new things, we're always doingthings we've never done before,
and confidence naturally comesthrough repetition, it comes
through practice.
Confidence naturally comesthrough repetition, it comes
through practice.
But there's definitely a lot offoundational work that will

(04:12):
take us very, very, very farwhen we bring the attitude that
we can approach whatever we'redoing with as much confidence as
possible and, I think, beingable to acknowledge and close
that gap with self-compassion,without doing what so many of us
very often do, which is turnour lack of results on ourselves

(04:35):
and make it our fault and makeit mean that there's something
wrong with us and make it meanthat we're not capable, which
then just becomes aself-fulfilling prophecy and a
spiral that leads to continuedlack of results.
So you know I keep repeatingthis is one of my favorite lines
that really helps my clients, which is that nobody will value

(05:00):
your work more than you do.
So when we're talking aboutsignificantly raising your
prices, and maybe you're evenbreaking your industry by
starting to charge more moneyfor your gifts and your skills
and your talents, and maybe youare being the the way to the way
, the way paver you are, youknow I attract a lot of Aquarian

(05:24):
type revolutionary leadershipenergy, because I have my
Jupiter in Aquarius in the fifthhouse, which is creativity and
play and pleasure and our innertiles, and so many of us who
were here having theseconversations, who were doing
this work, who were in my, myworld and my business, working

(05:47):
with me as clients, so many ofus are breaking old narratives
around settling for less money, around not valuing our gifts,
around, you know, stepping outand choosing to claim financial
abundance and freedom, doing thework that we love, even if all

(06:09):
we've seen in the past in ourindustry is people telling us
that we cannot charge more forthe work and the gifts that we
share, or that people won't payit, or that we're not valuable,
or that you know it's rude orit's upsetting or it's
disruptive to be charging andreceiving an abundant amount of

(06:32):
money for our gifts and ourenergy exchange that we offer.
So this is most likely you andyou know part of stepping out
into creative leadership isbeing willing to accept people,
it's being willing to break therules, and I think one of the
biggest messages for you in mywork is you are highly creative.

(06:56):
You can create something fromnothing.
You can take a vision andrealize it into physical form.
You've done this many, manytimes over, whether that's
through the meals that youprepare, or the children that
you've birthed, or thebusinesses that you've brought
to life, or the clients thatyou've attracted, or the
transformation that you'vecreated in your client work

(07:17):
using your intuitive gifts andyour unique blend of skills and
methodologies.
So you can do that with money.
You can create results thathave never been seen before.
With money, you can chargeprices that have never been seen
before in your industry.
You can disrupt.
You can make peopleuncomfortable and you can get
results.

(07:37):
And remember the people that areuncomfortable.
The people that are going tocomplain are going to be the
people that are lining up askingyou how you did it after you've
done it.
So it can be uncomfortable,right?
Especially when we'reconditioned with this people
pleasing mentality of notwanting to rock the boat, not
feeling safe to upset otherpeople.
Right, because we have thesemechanisms that live within us

(07:59):
deep, deep, deep within ourpsyche and our subconscious,
that think it's not safe toupset people, because maybe we
grew up around environmentswhere it genuinely wasn't safe
to upset others because it mightlead to physical violence or
emotional abuse.
So we have to undo thesepatterns of survival, these

(08:20):
protective mechanisms that areactually holding us back from
thriving and from having morefreedom and having more
self-expression and impact andincome.
So it is literally your job tobe confident in your message and
offer, especially when it comesto highest ticket.
No one's going to buy highticket from someone who's not

(08:41):
fully confident in their workand their offer.
And you know this is the workthat every single person has to
go through when you arelaunching a new high ticket
offer.
And you know there's many, manypaths of least resistance to
get there quickly and powerfully.
And really this is the workthat I do with clients, whether

(09:03):
they're you know know launchinga high ticket offer at just the
same work but much higher prices, or whether they're pivoting
into a slightly different nicheor message or conversation and
way of helping their clients.
There's always going to be thatlittle voice, those little
gremlins that come up when we'redoing something that we don't
have a ton of evidence aroundalready because it's new.

(09:24):
So we have to build thatevidence as fast as we can.
No matter how we're expressingourselves, no matter how we're
looking to, you know, be paidand create revenue in our
business or as a creative, nomatter what it is that you want
to be paid for, creative, nomatter what it is that you want

(09:47):
to be paid for, there's going tobe gremlins, right.
So we have to have methods andhabits and rituals and practices
to take care of those littlegremlins that are just trying to
keep you safe, that are justtrying to keep you the same, to
stop you from changing, so thatyou can continue to survive the
way that you have been survivingup until now.
And when we get good atcultivating confidence, that is

(10:15):
the best hack ever to be makingmore sales, because that makes
you extremely magnetic.
Confidence and conviction sellsmore than the perfect message.
It sells more than any fancybranding.
It sells more than absolutelyanything else.
As long as you people can feelit, you know, when you fully
believe in what you're selling, people feel that, and especially
when we're in thetransformational coaching world,

(10:36):
the number one thing people arehiring you for is conviction,
because they would have whatthey wanted if they had
conviction about it.
And sometimes the onlydifference, the only thing that
closes the gap between where youare now and where you want to
be, is having enough convictionto make the damn moves that get

(10:59):
the results.
And we all know this right.
We're all helping clients dothis every single day.
But it's so much harder to turnthat work on ourselves and
that's why we need support andwe need mentors and we need
people who are a step or twoahead.
You have that convictionbecause they have a ton of
evidence and you plug in to theconviction of your mentors and

(11:25):
that help.
It gives your brain somethingmore positive to latch on to.
That is going to lead to somuch less resistance and so much
more power in the moods thatyou make towards the specific
results that you are choosing tocreate.
So pay attention, take notes.
What is coming up for you aroundthis conversation, and one of

(11:48):
the placements in our astrologychart which can give us a lot of
information is Saturn, becauseSaturn is like the school
teacher it's here to give us thelessons that we need.
But that might be so, so, sodeeply challenging for us.
And this is why it's sopowerful to understand our

(12:11):
Saturn placement, because thereare some lessons, there are some
challenges which are trying tosteer us in a different
direction.
Right, and understanding ourSaturn can tell us when it's
actually a direction that weneed to kind of knuckle down and
roll up our sleeves and do thework and learn the lesson and

(12:34):
persevere.
Rather than you know, sometimeswhen we're going in a different
direction, it's genuinely notthe right direction for us if we
are experiencing a ton ofresistance and a ton of
challenges, and I'm a bigbeliever in following the path
of least resistance.
But it can be so empowering toknow sometimes there are just

(12:55):
those hard lessons that we haveto go through, lessons that we
have to go through.
And it's that nuance in theconversation of alignment in
where do I roll up my sleevesand persevere and where do I
just switch it up and move in adifferent direction.
So understanding your Saturnplacement and leaning into those
conversations and those lessonsand really creating mastery in

(13:17):
these areas can put you on thefast track to getting what you
want, and these are often reallythe most important lessons for
us to learn.
So my Saturn is in the thirdhouse and which represents
social media and communication.
So know that I have not had iteasy in growing my visibility

(13:38):
and growing my online brand andI underwent deep transformation
and healing to build my personalbrand.
My Saturn is also in Scorpioand this is really the lesson
and the challenges that equippedme and brought me all of these
gifts and this wisdom andexperience to be able to then
support my clients and community.

(13:59):
So, yeah, it's not always fun, right?
If you remember, or you havebeen going through your Saturn
return.
Sometimes it can be the leastfun moments of your entire life.
I got you know.
I had chronic fatigue for fiveyears.
My entire life burned to theground and I had 6pm headaches.
I had to delay graduating frommy master's.

(14:20):
I, you know, didn't see mypartner for six months that year
.
I didn't see most of my friends.
I put all my stuff in storage.
I didn't have a home.
I was literally homeless, justbumbling around the world.
You know, my career camecrashing down in film.
That was like a big pivotmoment for me.
That was, yeah, extremelychallenging, extremely painful,
um, but it gave me everythingthat's incredible in my life.

(14:43):
Now, plus, saturn is squaringmy sun and my mercury in the
12th house.
So, and I think a lot in thiscommunity will um resonate with
this feeling of wanting to beseen and wanting to stay hidden,
and I am just the epitome ofthat energy with because the
12th house is behind the veil,it's ruled by Pisces, it's

(15:07):
everything that's hidden.
And you know, I think many ofus who are writers feel that
because we love to just behidden away in our cave with our
laptop or our journal, writing, channeling, expressing
ourselves, learning aboutourselves through our craft.
But we have nothing to writeabout if we don't go out there

(15:30):
in the world, if we don't go andhave adventures and meet people
and fall flat on our face andgo through pain, and you know
that is our material.
So we have to navigate thatline between nurturing ourselves
and giving ourselves what it isthat we need to be, you know,
performing at our highest levelsof creativity and we have to be

(15:54):
willing to go out there andfall flat on our face and
experience humiliation and gothrough shame and, you know, go
through all of the things thatour unconscious is trying to
protect us from.
12th house is also theunconscious or the subconscious.
So I get it, you know, wantingto be seen.
I'm a leo, I want to shine.
I want to be seen.

(16:14):
Um, I love attention, but Ialso just want to be in the bed
in my office with a cozy blanket, journaling by myself for hours
and hours, and I havehistorically struggled with
growing my visibility online, from procrastinating on my
website for two years straight, without even being aware that I

(16:37):
it was literally on the top ofmy to-do list every day for two
years and I didn't even noticethat for some reason I wasn't
launching my first website tolosing my Instagram account of
more than 3,000 people.
To getting blocked by Facebookfrom running ads for no apparent
reason and having to start mythird Instagram account from

(16:58):
scratch.
It seems that there's a patternfor me Whenever I start to grow
, whenever I start to expand, suddenly something comes out of
the left field and I have tostart from from scratch again,
and I don't ever believe that weever have to start from scratch
, um, but our unconscious isextremely powerful and so we

(17:20):
have to work with it to createsafety, to be fully, creatively
self-expressed.
So I'm continually working withmy unconscious to address my
deep seated feelings ofresistance to becoming more
visible.
And yesterday, so I work withan EMDR therapist therapist, eye

(17:42):
movement, desensitization andsomething I don't remember.
I should learn because I talkabout it a lot.
I highly recommend thistechnique, which is working with
our unconscious emotions.
And what came up when I wasasking?
Because I, you know, I'm ready,I'm ready to scale my business.
I've been working and justrevamping, getting ready to

(18:06):
reach more people with my work, and I'm I'm bored, frankly, of
whatever it is that has my footon the brake.
And so I, you know, whenever weask a powerful question, we get
the answers and I thinkeverything will emerge.
Everything emerges when we'reready, right.

(18:26):
So we really have to trust ourprocess, like even with this
episode.
I was supposed to record it lastweek and then it didn't happen.
And for those of you inMillionaire Witch Club, you know
, I've been working on reallysystematizing my content
calendar and I could have givenmyself a hard time about it, but

(18:51):
I didn't, because I know and Ilearned this lesson really well
from publishing my book Everycreative message has a
gestational process.
You, you know, I was justtalking to my friend yesterday
who's about to give birth andthere are some things, there are
so many things when it comes tocreativity, that we do not have

(19:11):
control over and we have totrust the process.
And you know, and it just thepenny dropped today when I was
getting ready to record this andI was like, oh, of course I had
to record this after the EMDRbreakthrough that I had
yesterday, because this isanother really potent part of
this message, and the memorythat came up for me was when I

(19:34):
was bullied at dance school andI dropped out when I was about.
I think I was about 11 and Idon't remember the specifics.
One thing I've learned aboutmyself is that my mind blocks
out anything traumatic.
I was just talking to my bestfriend, was in town and we were
talking about another friend whoI fell out with and she was
like don't you remember this?

(19:55):
And I was like, no, I don'tremember this whole conversation
where she was kind of being abit to you and I was like she's
like, didn't you ever wonder whyyou aren't friends anymore?
I was like, yeah, literally allthe time I'm like I wonder why
we're not friends anymore.
She was like, yeah, this wholeconversation I thought.
I do not remember anything ofthat.
So I don't remember exactlywhat happened at dance school
when I was young.
All I remember is kicking andscreaming and being like I do

(20:17):
not want to continue dancing.
Though I loved dancing, I didnot like the bitches at that
school you know how it gets whengirls are young and so I
dropped out.
And then there was.
I was also bullied at schooland I would kind of switch from
friend group to friend group andI've always been a bit of a

(20:39):
social butterfly because I'm aGemini moon.
But you know and there areobviously many benefits to that
of knowing many, many people andhaving relationships with many,
many people I think of myselfas a little bumblebee who I, you
know.
I connect people, I know I knowwhatever you need.
I know somebody and I canconnect you to somebody who can
help you with absolutelyanything that you need to solve

(21:03):
or fill in your life, and that'ssuch a beautiful thing, you
know, when I've traveled theworld and I've experienced so
many cultures.
But it's definitely, you know, the flip side of that is I've
avoided going through deeperintimacy and relationships and
going through some of thechallenges of life together and
some of the challenges ofrelationships together.

(21:23):
So you know, you can see howthings that happen to us as
we're growing up they createthese behavior patterns.
And suddenly I can see how I'mdoing this on social media.
I build my audience on Facebookto 5,000 people.
Then I decide I don't want tobe there anymore and I go.
I went on to LinkedIn for a bit, built an audience of 5,000

(21:44):
people there then was like, don't really like it over here,
went over to.
So you can see.
Now I can see how this behaviorpattern, while it has its
benefits, it also has itsdownfall.
And so now I have thatinformation and I get to work
with that part of me that isconstantly wanting to move and
go elsewhere because it doesn'tfeel safe to get more intimate

(22:08):
or to get deeper or to just stayin one place long enough for
things to progress.
And, as someone who was sexuallyassaulted as a child, there's a
big part of me that has notfelt safe to be seen in my full
self.
Sensuality and maybe you know, and I think I've always been a

(22:29):
tomboy like my mom expresses herdisappointment as to how I used
to hate wearing dresses, evenas a little girl, and how happy
she was when my sister was born, who was just like the perfect
little doll.
Um, loves to wear dresses, soI've always loved to dress like
a boy.
But part of me has wondered, you know, has that also been a

(22:49):
protective mechanism as I've gotolder, to hide my sensuality,
to not attract unwanted sexualattention?
And I think as women we allexperience this right, like
we've all been cackled down thestreet.
There is a part of us that doesnot feel safe to be fully
expressed and you know Iswitched from a 90% male
dominated industry the filmindustry to pretty much

(23:13):
exclusively working with womenand femmes, um, and other
minority identities, because itfelt so much safer for me to
fully be myself and it felt somuch safer for me to fully be
myself and it felt so much saferfor me to be recognized for
things other than just my bodyor a label or a stereotype.

(23:36):
And so the affirmations that I'mcontinually working with,
continually to reprogram in, areit's safe to be creative, it's
safe to be sensitive.
That's another one, too right, like knowing that when we open
up, when we're vulnerable, whenwe share that deep, deep
sensitivity that so many of ushave as created, we do risk

(23:57):
being hurt.
We do risk that rejection, andwhen we're rejected for things
that we deeply, deeply careabout, it's that much more
painful, right, and I wentthrough a lot of this in getting
ready to publish my book.
So more affirmations are it'ssafe to be sensual, it's safe to
be fully self-expressed, it'ssafe to be fully creatively

(24:19):
expressed, it's safe to be seen,it's safe to attract attention,
and I know so.
So so many of us are dealingwith this, because I mean trolls
for one right, like those grossdudes on the internet who need
therapy and just degrade ourexperience of being online.

(24:44):
But beyond that, I know so manyclients I've worked with who
are legitimately, you know, recovering from narcissistic and
abusive relationships, andthere, legitimately, are people
who are out to get them, whothey're in court procedures with
or who they're in custodybattles with, and, you know,
toxic family members who arejust gonna make their life

(25:07):
miserable when they startsigning and being fully
expressed and claiming theirdesires through their business
through their online impact andbrand.
So we're dealing with a lotright.
Confidence isn't just a well, you should just be good at it
like we're literally battlinggenerations of oppression and

(25:30):
systematic abuse, and it's huge,it's a huge, huge deal for us
to step out of that conditioning, to step out of that patterning
and to be fully seen for who weare and to lead with our
desires and to claim the thingsthat we value, to boldly share

(25:52):
the messages that we stand for,and to risk upsetting people, to
risk disrupting the systemsthat we are a part of.
So just give yourself a roundof applause, give yourself a pat
on the back.
You are a freaking champion andyour voice and your message has
never been needed more now thanever.

(26:15):
So how do we set ourselves upfor success with feeling
confident, so we can go outthere and shine and be seen and
impact the people that we arehere to impact?
Number one is trusting ourdesire, right, so cultivating
our desire by actually listeningto it.
So how do we do that?
That is a habit.

(26:36):
So how do we detach from ourdesire?
Is when we get caught up in thebusy work.
We get caught up inproductivity and procrastination
in work, work, work, push, push, push.
All of the busy work of the dayto day which is so easy to get
sucked into.
So carving out consistent spaceto actually connect to our

(26:57):
bodies and to actually nourishand nurture our bodies so that
they feel good.
Because we all know if you'reburnt out, it's very hard to
feel desire for anything, because we need to get to that
baseline of rest.
In order for us to give, wehave to fill up our cup first.
So, prioritizing what makes usfeel good day to day as a habit,

(27:19):
even if it's five, 10 minutesof meditation, yoga, going for a
walk, taking a nap, doing somejournaling, watching your
favorite comedy show, eating themost delicious food, whatever
it is for you that fills up yourcup, do more of it.
Do more of it more frequentlyless excuses, less guilt and

(27:39):
really stoking that desire andfor those of us who are sacral
authorities in human design, like this is this is everything.
This is everything.
Listening to that, yes, fromour body.
And the other practice which Ihave seen to be the most

(28:02):
powerful in cultivating afertile bed of confidence from
which everything we do in lifewill grow, is to nurture our
creativity.
And why is that I talked aboutthis a lot, because when we
create something from nothing,we're reminded of how freaking
magic we are.
Whether that's like the mostbeautiful avocado toast that you

(28:27):
make for breakfast, that youhad the idea and you went and
sourced the ingredients and youmade that delicious breakfast
because you were visioning itand you were craving it and you
wanted to do something great foryourself.
Or whether it's just singing asong or putting on your favorite
song and dancing in front ofthe mirror and being like look
at my amazing body, look how itcan move and create and the

(28:48):
music can move through me.
And how magical is life.
Whether it's hearing your ownvoice, whether it's writing
words on the page, writing apoem expressing your love for
the person in your life thatyou're obsessed with, like
whatever it is that just makesyou feel creatively alive,
jumping out of a plane I don'tcare what it takes, but those

(29:11):
small moments of creativeself-expression purely for the
joy of it, not because you haveto post content today, not
because there's a deadline onyour project, not because
someone else is, you know, pressuring you to complete a
project for them, but doing itfor yourself and really playing.
That creates confidence.
Notice how you feel after youhave been playing for the sake

(29:33):
of playing, because it createspresence, it creates connection
to our body, it createsconnection to our soul and when
we express that, it's soall-consuming that we can't
worry that we disengage fromthose gremlin thoughts, that the
tension in our body starts tomelt, those holding patterns

(29:54):
start to break, and that's thespace where we become receptive
to inspired ideas.
And Neptune has just moved intoAries, so this is a time of
creative leadership.
Aries is all about going first.
It's all about bold courage, about making moves before

(30:15):
someone has given us permissionor validation or even
understands us.
And Neptune is our creativedreams.
So that combination is so, sopowerful.
It's all.
We're stepping into a 14 yearperiod of really learning to
make moves on our creativevisions, and this is really a
conversation about trusting ourcreativity.

(30:39):
So one of my favorite ways tonurture my creativity has always
been playing guitar and singing, and this was really an
intuitive pull that I felt backin 2011, and a guy I was dating
bought me a guitar and I used tocry so much whenever I sang.

(30:59):
So it has always been a veryhealing self-care practice for
me and it took me a long longtime to get to a place where I
was comfortable playing inpublic practice for me, and it
took me a long, long time to getto a place where I was
comfortable playing in publicbefore I had built my
songwriting practice and then Iwrote and performed poetry.
You know, I ended up winning apoetry competition in the UK.
I've since written andperformed my original songs on

(31:21):
stage in Montreal and New York,so just know that wherever you
are in your relationship withexpressing yourself and your
message and growing yourbusiness and creating whatever
it is you feel called to createor engaging in creative
practices that are calling you,it's a process, and the only way

(31:43):
we get to that deep, deep, deepfulfillment of seeing our
visions realized is bycommitting to that process and
seeing where it leads us andallowing us to be in the mess
and allowing us to, allowing itto transform us.
And this is, this is the truepower of our creativity when we
surrender to it, when we engagein it, it transforms us.

(32:05):
And so imagine combining thatenergy with your relationship
with money and sales andbusiness and brand building and
visibility and community impact.
I'm asking you, I'm remindingyou, to bridge the gap and to

(32:26):
bring all of your creative powerof which you have so much and
you have so much evidence ofyour creative power to just
recognize that you have that inthe arena of money and sales and
client attraction and brandbuilding.
And it's just about practicing.
It's about building a practice,it's about showing up, it's
about surrendering to the messand allowing it to transform you

(32:49):
.
So, whatever tools, whateverpaths are calling to you and I
think a lot of us are feelingthis pivot right now to really
surrender to our creativity, because that is where our
leadership lies, that is thepath to our highest success and

(33:11):
our highest impact and ourhighest income is listening to
and following our creative urgesand that, combined with doing
the unconscious work and havinga clear, sustainable, fun
strategy around all of it, thisis the key to evolving, to

(33:34):
become the kind of people whocan reach our goals, who can
charge the money that we want, who can do it confidently and
repetitively, month after month, year after year, and to get to
those five figure months, sixfigure years, doing the work
that we know that we're here todo.
So it's really been this work, with my relationship with money,

(33:58):
with my relationship withcreativity, that has actually
made my audience size irrelevant.
You know, I hit my first sixfigure year with less than 200
people on my email list, thanksto following my intuition to
sell high ticket.
And I'm always working throughnext levels of growing my

(34:18):
visibility, of working with moreand more people.
You know I've sustained abusiness over eight years
working with a very, very smallnumber of people, working with a
very, very small number ofpeople, and you know, this is
the blessing of having createdand published a book is it's
really transforming me?
It's.
It has stoked the desire toread more people, because I want
more people to read my book, because I know the power it has

(34:42):
to to not only change people butto change our culture when more
people embody these values anddo this work and create
different results in theirrelationship with money and
earning abundantly, doing thework that they love and not
having to sacrifice by doingshit that we hate.
That's outside of our integrity.
That isn't us really leaninginto offering our true highest

(35:06):
value gifts to the most people.
So just check in.
What can you add into your dailyhabits to boost your creativity
?
What makes you feel good inyour body?
What makes you feel good inyour heart and your soul and
your mind and add something forfive, ten minutes and commit to

(35:31):
it.
Commit to it every day and seehow you feel as you start to
show up and sell at those nextlevels, as you really commit to
those goals to fill your highticket offer and to take a stand
for those prices that youreally desire to be receiving.
So experiment, let me know howit goes and come and join us in
Millionaire Witch Club, which ismy free community, where we

(35:53):

so much fun doing it.
So that is the space for you tocome and get that consistent
