So today I want to share withyou how to develop a high ticket
sales mindset, and I'm going toshare three daily practices and
habits that are gonna just makeit easier for you to charge

more, receive more, sell more,book more clients, make more
money and share your soul.
Work with the people who reallywant it, love it, need it and
all of the you know really enjoyall of the amazing changes in
your life and your community asa result of you living the

fullest expression of your work.
So I'm going to be talking a lotmore about high ticket sales on
the podcast because, you knowand this is not when I was
sitting down and journalingabout my mission to make the
world a better place high ticketsales was not it, it was not
something that I was like.

This is my passion and I mustshare this message with the
world.
No, like I didn't even freakingknow what high ticket sales
were until, you know, I startedmy coaching business like eight
years ago.
So why am I talking about it somuch?
Because it's got to that pointwhere I've realized that this is

the most valuable solution thatI can offer for my bigger
mission of empowering women,creatives, marginalized voices,
to have more creativeself-expression, to reach more
people with our work, to havemore time, freedom and creative

freedom and flexibility, toprioritize the things that we
value, like our health and ourfamily and our community and our
creative desires and rest andall of those wonderful things
that capitalism makes itdifficult to prioritize.
Let's be real.
So you know, this is thesolution that I was intuitively

led to.
I created so much more freedomfor myself and I did it through
the solution of creating abusiness around high ticket
sales and I know you know thisis a conversation I'm constantly
having with my clients.
I'm constantly having withmyself of like, what is my
purpose, what is my vision, whatam I working towards?

What do I really want?
What is the strategy and thepath to be able to make the most
impact and have the mostfreedom and not sacrifice all of
the things that we don't wantto sacrifice?
And this is the way that it'sworked for me.
This is the way that I help myclients to do it for themselves.
Because the truth is, if youdon't already have a giant

audience that's aligned withyour vision and mission, or even
if you do, but you're not likeleveraging that successfully by
selling to people, creatinginvitations and offers where
people are saying yes to you andcoming into you and creating
transformation, high ticketsales is the fastest path to
financial stability andsustainability so that we can

hire extra team members to makemore content, to reach more
people, to grow our audience.
Audience growth takes work, ittakes money, it takes time, it
takes resources.
So if we want to reach morepeople, like we have to fund
that, we need to take care ofourselves in the process and
knowing how to you know, sign a$5,000 or a $10,000 client
within a matter of weeks.

That's some incredible leverageand being able to have the time
and spaciousness to work moredeeply with clients to really
help them implement our work tocreate real impact and
transformation in their lives,that's like some of the highest
level of power that we have.
So I'm sure you're already onboard with this if you're

You know, and there's a lot oftalk online around, why talking
about money is bad and itshouldn't all be about the money
and everyone's bored of hearingeveryone's money wins and I'm
like that's bullshit, like weneed money to sustain ourselves.
We need money to make an impactand to impact other people's
lives and to sustain our workand to fund our creativity and

to reach people and to supportour communities and to support
ourselves so that we cancontinue to show up and do our
best work.

So let's dive in.
So recap of my story I have notalways been a high earner.
I have not.
I'm sure.
For those of you who have beenaround for a while, you know my
story.
I was terrible with money.
I was a massive under earner.
(06:13):
I was always undercharging.
I was afraid to ask for moremoney.
I was just.
You know, I'm in the finalediting stages of my book, which
is all about my story and mytransformation and my
relationship with money and howI really had to do a lot of deep
work to look at why I was notasking for the money that I
wanted, why I felt like I didn'tdeserve it, why I was holding
(06:35):
myself back, why I was underearning, why I was overworking
where did all of that come from?
And to really unpack andunderstand the cultural
conditioning from my upbringingthat led me to believe these
things about myself that werereally translating into
self-sabotaging actions, thatwere not only holding me back
but were preventing me fromreaching more people and
impacting more people through mywork and giving them the
(06:58):
opportunity to pay me, tosupport me, to be able to
continue to do the work that Iwant to do in the world.
So you know, I remember evenwhen I launched my website for
my first business, mycopywriting agency, it felt so
stretchy for me to list.
I think my highest ticketpackage was like 1,500 for a
(07:18):
three month I don't know if itwas three months.
It was a three page websitecopy with coaching Even I
remember my $500 putting like a$500 price tag on one of my
copywriting services.
In my head I was like no one'sgonna buy this, this is too much
, this is dumb.
I didn't believe it and I didit anyway because I'd been
(07:40):
learning about business strategyand working on my money mindset
.
And guess what it worked.
And I remember booking my firsthighest paid copywriting
contract for a web page for atravel company and I remember
sending the invoice for $3,000.
It was the biggest invoice Ihad ever sent and my hands were
(08:01):
shaking and in my head, thatlittle voice was saying they're
not going to pay this, they'regonna just be like, oh, this is
sorry, the deal's off.
And so when I just very, youknow, within a matter of hours
received that three thousanddollar payment into my PayPal
account, it felt like a miracle.
(08:24):
And you know, and then I've goneon to launch $3,000 coaching
packages, $5,000, $10,000,$15,000 and up, and I share this
with you to remind you that itdidn't feel comfortable for me
in the beginning, like everycell of my body was screaming,
like you are not worthy, you donot deserve this, this isn't
(08:46):
possible, this is out of reachfor you.
Who are you to charge andreceive this much money?
And so, thankfully, through themoney mindset, work, through a
clear business strategy,following through on my plan,
like having my back around myvision, taking those steps, I
disproved all of that internalconditioning and I started
(09:08):
making more money than I hadever made in my entire life and
doubling my income two years ina row, from 25 to 50k to 100k
the following year.
So, no, it's okay to feelwildly uncomfortable asking for
significantly more money.
I can't tell you how manyclients I've worked with who you
(09:29):
know went and asked for a raisein their corporate job and I
told them to double it and theydid, and they got it.
Like we are lowballingourselves.
So it's just, it's a good fact,right, it's a fact to understand
that I can ask forsignificantly more money than
what feels comfortable for me toask for, and you're not always
(09:50):
going to get a yes.
But how do you know unless youask, right, what if it's a yes,
that can be life changing.
You know those extra 1000s ofdollars.
What would you do with thatmoney?
What would that mean for youand your family?
You know, also know that it'sokay to edge your prices up.
It's okay to not like put yournervous system into meltdown and

shut down and cause you to likehide under the duvet and never
ask for money, because the ideaof asking for so much money is
just too much for your nervoussystem to bear.
It's okay to edge it up littleby little, by little by little.
And, no, it's okay to not feelcomfortable in asking.
One of the biggest mindsetshifts that changed everything
(10:36):
for me was I'm now comfortablefeeling uncomfortable, like
feeling uncomfortable every day.
That's my job.
If I'm not feeling a little bituncomfortable, I'm not growing,
I'm not moving towards myvision, I'm not creating
transformation.
So put that one on your phone.
This is a bonus practice.
This isn't included in thethree that I have written out
(10:57):
for you here.
So another tip before we dive inmake peace with your business
model.
If you've chosen to sell a highticket offer, don't question it
.
You know you've made thatdecision.
You are the boss.
You can change your mind at anypoint, you can change your
prices at any point, but ifyou're wavering, if you don't
(11:17):
fully have your back on yourbusiness decisions, you're just
wasting so much energy and it'sa statement to sell high ticket.
It's you really standing inyour power and standing in the
value of your work and thetransformation that you're
capable of providing to clients.
So there's no way that you canhalf ask this.
(11:38):
You have to go all in.
You have to have a dialed inoffer.
You have to feel so clear onyour work and what you're
actually selling and what'sgoing to happen inside that
offer even though, obviously,when you're working one-on-one
with people, it can vary.
But you have to be clear on howyou're guiding people.
And you have to be super, superclear on your client for this
(11:59):
offer, like who will thrive themost in this offer that you are
creating and selling?
And then you have to be superclear on your message, and one
that aligns and makes it sofreaking obvious that you can
help the clients that this offeris for.
And it has to be.
You have to be clear, youroffer has to be clear and your
message has to be clear thatthis is a transformation worth
(12:23):
the thousands of dollars thatyou're asking for it.
And this is work.
You know this is work that youcannot avoid if you want to
successfully be signing reallygood fit clients into your high
ticket offers.
So let's dive in to someexercises that are going to help
you to shift through some ofthat noise, some of that
(12:43):
resistance as you start to uplevel, into charging more money,
signing clients with moreconsistency and feeling more
ease around sustaining andmaintaining high ticket sales in
your business.
So number one is my favoritemoney mindset tool and technique
.
So full transparency.
(13:03):
In the early stages of mybusiness, I did a lot more money
mindset work than this.
Definitely buy my book when itcomes out if you want the full
scoop on really you know my fullstory and the work that I did
and keep your eyes peeled for myoffer.
Create Money the Fun Way, whereI really go in depth and share
all of the tools around that.
But at an absolute minimum, dosome money mindset work daily
(13:26):
and I'm going to share a sixminute exercise with you that,
if this is the least that you do, it's going to make a
difference for you and thatmomentum will add up.
So set your timer for threeminutes and connect to your
income goal, whether that's yourmonthly income goal, your
annual income goal, your launchgoal, your goal for this
specific offer, or how manyclients you want to sign and how
(13:48):
much money you want to receive.
So stay focused on the moneyand then tell your brain like no
way, there's no way I can dothat this month, this year,
right now.
And then just brain dump all ofthe stories, all of the reasons
that your mind has been chewingover, all of the beliefs around
why this is not possible.
(14:09):
Do that stream of consciousness.
Just keep asking what else,what else, what else, what else?
For six minutes, no, for threeminutes.
And then, when your timer goesoff, hit, repeat and spend the
next three minutes or more, ifyou need more, to cross out each
of those stories and reframethem and tell the story that you
(14:29):
wish was true.
So if you're like I'm tooscared to put my prices up, the
story that you wish were truewould be I feel confidently
connected to the massive valueof my offer and charging more
money feels natural andreasonable.
And if that doesn't feel trueor expansive, play around with a
(14:55):
statement, use words like I'mnow choosing, or I'm now open to
you and create those newbeliefs.
Constantly shift the storiesthat are keeping you where you
are and notice what inspirationcomes through.
Take action from that place.
This money mindset is like thegrease on your wheels to making
more money.
(15:16):
So do it daily, no freakingexcuses.
Get your habit tracker out anddo it every day.
So number two this is reallylike a non-negotiable exercise
that I went through that all ofmy clients go through, which is
kind of your extended resume.
You know how we're trained towrite a resume when we're
(15:37):
younger, when we're applying forjobs and it's.
You know your formal education,your work experience, all of
those things that we've beentrained to feel qualified around
and to value.
Really.
I want you to.
You can start there right, likestart with what comes easily
and then continue.
And I want you to write atleast 50 things that have
(15:57):
brought value to who you are,and this can be languages
learned like relationshiplessons, health stuff.
You've been through books,you've read courses, you've
taken places, you've traveled.
You know breakthroughs.
You've had All of this wisdomand life experience and learning
.
You know parenting, like beinga partner, like what is it that
(16:21):
you've been through?
What have you said?
Yes to Adventures, anythingthat you've learned, anything
that has become embodied wisdomfor you that you're proud of,
that has added value to your ownlife.
Get super clear on all of thosethings, and this is something
that you can just keep adding toa little bit every day.
I promise you you are going tofeel more confident in selling
your offer.
After doing this exercise,you're going to be like I am
(16:43):
amazing, like what an incrediblelife I've lived.
We've all lived incrediblelives.
Everybody everyone has a story,everyone has been through stuff
, everyone has wisdom to share.
So you, getting in touch withwhat that is for you is going to
completely shift your messaging, the way that you sell, the way
you talk about your work andyour offer and, most importantly
(17:04):
, the way that you feel.
This is the fast track tofeeling confident, to feeling
grounded and rooted in how muchvalue you bring to your clients
when you show up and, you know,share your time, space and
energy with them.
And then here's the thirdexercise that will honestly
change your life, and Irecommend this to clients
(17:24):
regularly when they're likespinning and overthinking or not
feeling confident in theirlaunch, or they're wavering on
their offer and their messageand their details and
questioning everything.
Stop comparing so literally goon a fast of anybody else online
who triggers any type ofcomparison.
(17:45):
So an obvious one to thinkabout might be people who are
earning significantly more moneythan you.
I know this is a big one for alot of my clients and you know
and I've been through that tooLike why would somebody hire me
when they could just hire mycoach, who does the same work as
me pretty much and is earningway more, has like way better
results, is way more financiallysuccessful?
(18:06):
And it took me a long time towork through that belief until I
realized, oh no, like it's forthe same reason that I hire my
coach and not her coach.
Once I kind of started gettingintroduced to the coaches of my
coaches, I was like, oh actually, like they don't really
(18:26):
resonate with me and I wouldrather learn what she's learning
from them, from her, because ofwhere she is and her vibe and
her style and her story and theway that she does it.
And that can be true for you.
So remember that your soulmateclient is perfect for where
you're at right now and shewants to work with you because
of exactly where you are rightnow.
(18:48):
So the best thing we can do isget in our own lane and tune
everybody else out, tune outother people's content, tune out
other people's messages, stopscrolling, like, unfollow or
mute everybody who doessomething similar to you and
just fill your feed with, likeother random stuff that's
inspiring, that makes you feelgood, that stimulates your
(19:08):
creativity, or stop scrollingaltogether, if you can manage.
Obviously, that's much easiersaid than done, but in the
beginning of my business, Istarted a whole new Instagram
account.
I purposely didn't follow anyof my friends, any of my family,
and I put really strongboundaries around that and I
only followed people who wereinfluencing me in the and made
(19:29):
it feel easier and moreinspiring for me to move in the
direction that I wanted to gowith my business.
That boundary made it so easyfor me to create success quickly
, because all of that noise isin the back of your head when
you're showing up and creating.

I did a really fun thing on myemail list lately.
I was just feeling reallyinspired by all the in-person
connections that I've madethrough people on my email list,
like people who have justbecome friends, who I really
value and I've shared amazingmemories with, and it just made
me so grateful for the communitythat I've built.

You know it's a very smallcomparatively to a lot of other
people, but it's changed my life, building this community.
So I did a little shout outjust to invite people to write
back to me to share what's goingon with them, to share what's
going on in their business.

something that they would likefor me to create content around.
