mindset, making money andreaching more people with your

Hi, sarah Mack here and welcomeback to the Creative Magic Club

(01:01):
podcast.
Exciting news I have finallyrecorded for you my part two of
the Jupiter in Cancer series.
I know you had to wait a littlebit for it, but one thing that
learning astrology has taught meprobably the biggest lesson is
to trust the timing always.
And Jupiter is passing throughmy 10th house right now and it's

(01:29):
moving conjunct my Venus, whichis actually what I ended up
talking about today, so therewas clearly a reason I had to be
in the vibes to deliver thistransmission for you.
So if you didn't already checkout part one.
Definitely go check that out.
It's called Jupiter and Cancerhow to create money, making
content without burning out, andit was three episodes ago, and

(01:51):
in between that you've got tworeally juicy episodes on how to
make more money and contentprompts for cancer season that
are also really really, reallygood, and obviously those cancer
lessons are going to apply forour Jupiter and Cancer transit
for the next year.
So really lean in to embodyingthe lessons of Cancer during

(02:17):
this season.
How's it been going for you?
What's been coming up?
What has Jupiter and Cancerpresented to you so far?
Has it been feeling really good?
Have good things been happening?
Has it been exacerbatingchallenges that are suddenly, um
, you know, not possible for youto not notice and to address?

(02:38):
So, yeah, like I said, venus isin cancer.
For me and I've spoken quite abit about this on the podcast,
it's as a British person.
Connecting to my emotions isnot something, not a gift that I
inherited, and it's somethingthat I've had to work on.

(02:59):
And I think where I'm at withconnecting with my Venus in
Cancer now is especially becauseI've worked through a lot of
trauma and I'm just in a reallygood place in my life right now.
Um, and you know, regardless ofthe ups and downs, the thing

(03:20):
that's always been there hasbeen this non-negotiable need
for emotional self-expressionand creative self-expression and
artistic self-expression, andthat really has been the driving
force in my business and in thedecisions that I make that lead
me to my income and the waythat I, that I bring money in.

(03:43):
Um, and I didn't really alwayssee myself in that way, but
looking back, I can see how thathas always been true for me.
I'm deeply, deeply romantic and, again, that's not something
that I was really conscious ofabout myself, actually until I
met my partner, because he'ssuper romantic, and I was like,

(04:05):
oh, finally, thank god, likewhere have you been all my life,
you know, after dating peoplewho just weren't as romantic as
me, and I was just like, oh,that's just what guys are like,
you know, but finally being metat the level of romance that I
love and embody and justprioritise and feel I really do

(04:29):
love to do and see and feel it.
All you know, and I think apart of my understanding of my
Venus in Cancer now is that I'mreally driven by depth and
learning more and more and morethat that is one of my unique
qualities and that's one of thereasons that.
Why people buy from me isbecause I'm not surface level

(04:53):
and I will go there with people.
And one of the you know, primary foundations upon which
I've built my business isfinding emotional security in
business, and you know I couldgo into my.
I have an opposition with myNeptune and Capricorn in the

(05:13):
fourth house, which has led to alot of instability in my home
life and, for those of you whohave been following my story for
a long time, I've traveled allover the world, particularly, um
, well before I started mybusiness, but particularly you
know that the dial just gotcranked up on that as soon as I
became, um, an onlineentrepreneur and I had that

(05:36):
freedom.
So, throughout all of thatphysical instability and a lot
of emotional instability through, you know, immigrating to two
countries, healing CPTSD,chronic fatigue, a ton of health
issues I really I really didn'thave the bandwidth for any more
instability.
So I built a business that feltlike home for me, um, and with

(06:05):
my son in the 12th house in leo,my business is kind of where I
work things out, like the placewhere I shine is the place where
I'm doing my unconscious work, and I know that this is true for
all entrepreneurs.
Right like our business, itbrings us face to face with our
unconscious um life, things thatwe maybe were oblivious to or

(06:28):
we didn't know.
Once we start striving to bethat full expression of ourself,
we come up against those areasof constriction or those areas
of resistance or tightness oravoidance, um those you know,
patterns that we have built tocreate some semblance of
security for ourself throughoutour life, a lot of which need to

(06:49):
be dismantled in order for usto create that next level of
freedom.
So I attract dream clientrelationships by building
emotional intimacy.

(07:09):
Intimacy, and this is really thepower of storytelling um, and
it can really surpass the needfor having pushy sales tactics
or even having perfect launchstrategies.
Um, you know needing salescalls with a more manipulative
intent to get money out ofpeople, which you know if you've
been in the industry for awhile, you may have come across
teachers who teach that.

(07:29):
Um, and thanks to taking thisapproach in my business of
really going hard on thestorytelling um and leading with
that in all of my content, people come to me when they're
ready.
So my content gently guidespeople into my containers in a
way that feels safe, that feelsgood, that feels nurturing.

(07:52):
And how do I do that?
I do that by sharing everythingthey need to know to make the
choice.
So none of those pushy tacticsare required.
And don't get get me wrong, Iuse tactics, I use social media
tactics, I use launch tactics, but only the ones that feel good

(08:13):
and feel respectful and feelempowering.
Because the truth is, whenpeople feel safe and seen and
emotionally connected, we reallycan do our best work together
in my containers and I like tofoster a space where absolutely
no questions are off limits.

(08:34):
You know, and I think this isanother benefit of beginning my
business, my coaching business,as a mindset coach.
So I first I began as a copy, acopywriter and a content
strategist.
Then I pivoted to mindset andmoney mindset and then I kind of
incorporated all of thosethings with astrology and where
I am now in my business.
So I you know, through thein-depth mindset work that I've

(08:58):
done with clients in the past, Iknow how to go deep.
I know how to get to thosesneaky subconscious patterns
that tend to get in the way whenwe're stepping into our next
level and we're stepping intomore visibility and more income.
And people know I'm willing togo there with them in our
coaching containers because I gothere in my content and you

(09:23):
have to go first in your content, right?
And this is why so many peoplewho work with me very often
become long-term relationships, both as paying clients, renewing
their contracts many times overand beyond.
You know, I was literally justat the beach on Sunday with two
of my past one-on-one clients, one of them from Montreal, one

(09:43):
of them from here in LA, who metfor the first time and
naturally they got on like ahouse on fire and we were
literally playing in the oceantogether.
How Jupiter and Cancer is that?
Life is magic.
So, um, and one of thoseclients I was her um, I was
their bridesmaid at theirwedding, and obviously not every
client relationship ends uplike that, but so many of them

(10:04):
do, which is just such a gift.
And the way that we create thesereal, authentic and true
connections is through emotionalvulnerability in our content,
and that's why some people don'tmake it in this industry,
because this is one of thehardest things for humans to do,

(10:25):
right, like we're built toresist doing this and we have so
many patterns constantlyscreaming at us that it's not
safe to do it and puttingresistance, unconscious
resistance, in our path.
So we really always have to behaving those support systems in
place, to have those mindsetrituals, to be taking care of

(10:46):
our subconscious as we step outwith our bold, world-changing
message.
Right, we're not here to just, you know, pay the bills and do
some good work in the world.
We're here to transform, we'rehere to create change in the
culture, and that just is ourdna and our message is the

(11:08):
vehicle through which we deliverthat.
Um, so if you're like, what thehell do I talk about?
Like how do I get to thesestories?
You know which bits do I pick?
Definitely, check out my cosmicattraction, copywriting free
series where I talk about howChiron can really get into those

(11:29):
juicy stories that magnetizesoul clients.
And you know that is theperfect top of funnel content
for me, because Chiron isactually conjunct my midheaven
and my moon in my 10th house.
So my chart and I didn't decidethat because of my chart, this
actually just unfolded veryintuitively and naturally for me

(11:50):
.
But it makes so much sense, right, and our chart can tell us
, you know, what are those keymessages and those real, those
really unique gifts andstrengths that you embody, that
are of service to your people, that you can do better than
anybody else.

(12:11):
So you can see how ourastrology chart can guide us to
really leverage our innate giftsat every level of our brand
strategy.
It's so fucking cool.
It just it never ends.
There's so much to learn.
So, like I mentioned, jupiteris expanding the 10th and 11th
house in my chart right now.
So, in honor of that, I'm goingto share my three top

(12:36):
non-negotiables for building abrand identity.
To fill your high ticketcoaching program with dream,
dream, dream, dream, dream, cometrue clients this is a new
phrase I've coined in mycoaching is there's your dream
clients, and then there's yourdream, dream, dream dream
clients, the ones that you'relike.
Oh my God, this is so fun.
You're the best.
I love you.

(12:57):
Please, can all of my clientsbe like you?
Pretty much all of my clientsare like that, so I'm going to
tell you how to be the personthat attracts those people that
are just that make your businessa dream come true.
So, brand identity what is it?
So, bear in mind I'm talkingfrom the perspective of a

(13:18):
predominantly a copywriter and amessaging strategist.
You know, I do have abackground in film, but I'm a
writer first and foremost, soI'm not going to go into you
know too much of thetechnicalities of the visual
identity that you might get whenyou listen to a designer.
My approach to visual identityhas really been very intuitively

(13:41):
led around my principles of howI want to feel in my life first
, and my business second, and mydecisions are driven from there
.
I want to feel freedom, flexibility, flow and full
creative expression, and I wantto create what's fun and what
I'm called to express.
So sometimes that means themost accessible way to create.

(14:05):
I'm really leaning into that, like grabbing selfie videos
organically while I'm living mylife out hiking, walking, biking
, living, snuggling my cats, taking a trip, traveling, eating
, whatever and it involves mesharing what creatively sparks
my interest and makes me feelalive.
And that's the strategy.

(14:27):
And part of that is sharing mytruth and my heart, even when it
feels scary and edgy, right, like really allowing my
intuition to lead.
So when there is a message onmy heart and I'm like this is
really fucking scary for me totalk about, but it won't go away
, and I just feel the pull, likeI have to say this.

(14:49):
You know that is also a part ofthat strategy.
So not only is it the, I don'twant to spend 10 million hours
producing content because I wantto have a free and spacious
life.
So there's certain types ofcontent I just don't create in
my business, even though youknow, at some level, I might
benefit from it or enjoy it.
Um, it doesn't always meanchoosing the easy, comfortable

(15:15):
way, right, like there's alwaysgoing to be discomfort involved.
Like sharing my music, eventhough it's still a very newly
developing skill for me.
Like sharing my story in mybook, even though it led to very
real fallout and challenges inmy family dynamics.
I built my brand, creatingexactly what I desire to create

(15:37):
and trusting myself, you know, and and just having fun, and
just being a fricking romanticRenaissance woman from.
So I was looking through my oldlive streams because Facebook
made an announcement thatthey're deleting the old ones,
and so I wanted to capture someof those memories and I, you
know I had on my.
I was in my hula hooping phaseand so I would just share a hula

(16:00):
hooping video and then I wouldshare a caption around how
having fun in my business was mypriority.
You know, I've made like money, mindset raps and made music
videos and I've done lots andlots of live streams.
I've done travel vlogs, then, you know, obviously evolved into

(16:23):
my podcast and my book and whoknows what next.
Well, I know you'll just haveto stay tuned, but I don't limit
myself in my brand.
So this brings me to the threenon-negotiables for really
building that brand identitythat is you that is going to

(16:43):
magnetize the people who want towork with you and who are
compatible with you.
So number one is rememberingthat branding is emotional.
So this is how we connect ouremotions to other people's
emotions.
It's through stories, andremember, the stories of our
life are the most interestingthing about us and they are the

(17:07):
most relevant thing to clientswho want to buy your high ticket
offer.
So we figure out what storiesto tell by asking what moves me.
You know, I'm really getting tothe heart of it why, why did you
decide to show up and do thiswork?
What in your story led to thatdrive?
What in your vision and yourintuition is calling you forward

(17:30):
?
And knowing that genuine, rawemotion is the fuel for
compelling stories that connect, and it's really simple Just
tell the freaking truth.
Really.
The question here is what do youcare most about.
What do you deeply care about?
Tell the world, don't make themguess, don't make them have to

(17:52):
work hard to figure it out.
Make it super freaking obviouswhen they land on your content
and your page or your website.
And that brings me to my nextnon-negotiable.
So the first one is emotion youhave to lead with emotion and
truth and authenticity.

(18:12):
And the next one is building abrand that feels like home.
So you have to be able toanswer the question how do you
want to feel in your life andyour business?
And that's going to be uniqueto everybody.
And the things that lead us toour desired feelings are going
to be unique to everybody theamount of money where you live,

(18:34):
the type of home you have, thetype of home you have, the type
of clients you work with, howyou deliver your offers.
This really is the world ofyour brand.
And this is the hardest part, because we are the boss, right.
Nobody's designing yourbusiness for you.
So if you don't like something,it's up to you to shift and
change it and to figure out whatit is that you need to feel,

(18:56):
the way that you want to feel inyour business and your brand.
Um, you know, maybe you aresomebody who loves getting lost
in the creative process ofdesigning the perfect graphics,
or maybe you freaking hate it,like me.
I mean, I don't hate graphics,but as soon as I can't find the

(19:17):
thing, the tool that I need torealize the thing I'm trying to
do, like it's over for me.
So you get to decide how toconstruct your brand identity
accordingly, whether that'shiring a graphic designer, like
I do, or focusing solely onvideo or audio or written
content or the things that yougenuinely love to produce.

(19:38):
And then, obviously, thisconversation um applies to your
clients too, who are the peoplewho feel like home.
And here's the thing the moreyou show up like you are at home
in your business, the more youwill call in clients who feel
like home to serve through yourbusiness.

(19:58):
So be fully you.
What are you like at home?
Thankfully, for most of us,this is a home-based business,
so that's usually what you'redoing.
Or, you know, maybe you'resomeone who's out and about a
lot and traveling a lot, so youknow it's easy.
We get to take people with us,we get to put our phone in our
pocket, we get to turn it on, weget to capture.
This is me in my life, and abig part of this is not taking

(20:24):
things for granted, right, andthis is the biggest trap we fall
into as entrepreneurs we'realways focused on that next big
goal or that thing that we'renot yet, or the thing that we're
striving for that feels reallyhard or that feels really far
away, and we forget all thelittle things that we've created
for ourself already, like maybeyou have a life where you can
wake up without an alarm andmaybe that's been your life for

(20:47):
years, but maybe that's a pipedream for your client and when
they work with you, that'ssomething that's gonna become
available to them.
Maybe you get to work from thebeach, um, maybe, just you know,
really being able to fullystand in your authentic truth
and share what you deeply careabout through your work.
That's something that you'vemastered and that's something

(21:07):
that your ideal client isdreaming about being able to do.
So we're so often blind to thethings that we're already so
good at and that we always thatwe have already embodied.
So this is about taking a finetooth comb to your life and
really operating from a place ofgratitude and recognition,
self-recognition andself-acknowledgement, because

(21:30):
that is the pathway throughwhich we're able to deliver the
most value to others is thepathway through which we're able
to deliver the most value toothers.
So journal on that.
What needs to change like?
What doesn't feel good rightnow in your business and brand,
what doesn't feel like home, what feels stretchy in a bad way
?
You know, like we, it's always.

(21:50):
We're always going to feeluncomfortable, we're always
going to be emotionallystretching ourselves and coming
up against our edges.
But what feels like it'sstagnant, what feels like it's
stuck, what feels like you havea pit in your stomach every time
you see that thing on yourcalendar.
These are things that you getto change and the more, the more
you love what you've built, themore magnetic you're going to

(22:11):
be to the people who want tocome and play with you in your
business and in your offers.
And the next piece I want totalk about is abundant thought
leadership, and I feel like thisis so easy.
It's so easy to get caught upin the shoulds.
You know you should be anauthority.
You should lead with yourresults.

(22:32):
You should lead with your shinyresults.
You should be leading withshiny um results.
You should be leading with yourstory.
You should be posting howevermany times a week you should be
emailing, you should, should, should, you should have a
podcast, blah, blah, blah.
Right, like we get so caught upand wound up in the strategy,
um, and the truth is none ofit's gonna work as well as when
you're connected to yourintention, your original

(22:58):
intention and your why, andreally building your brand out
from that place of feeling.
And when we think about abundantthought leadership and I think
this is a very feminineperspective it's about putting
your worth and your care andyour well-being at the center of
your leadership, because we'veall played the sacrifice game

(23:25):
right, and that's not the reasonwe got into business.
We got into business to havepower over our life, to make the
changes that we deeply, deeplycrave, and so we have to stand
crave, and so we have to standby our word and we have to stand
by our values, and so we haveto go first, and that means
leading with self-care.
And this is a huge one formoney manifestation, because

(23:48):
when we're constantly pushingand burning out and overgiving,
it's like we have a closed fistright.
Our fist is full, it's fullwith too many things and we need
to be able to let go and tocreate space to have that open
palm to be able to receive goodthings.
We have to have rest, we haveto have pleasure, we have to

(24:09):
have space to allow the inspiredideas to drop in.
I'm currently doing a digitaldetox and it's wild how
challenging it is to prisemyself away from my phone.
I've not stopped watching TV,I'm just creating space in my
life and who knew so manyfreaking creative ideas drop in

(24:31):
when I'm just cooking mybreakfast and I'm not listening
to something, when I'm going fora walk and not listening to
something?
That time and that space withmyself.
You know I did a longermeditation.
I'm doing a 30 day longer umchant meditation and I had a

(24:53):
full download for a post andthat hasn't happened in a while.
So magical things happen whenwe create the space to receive
so abundant thought.
Leadership is about how you'releading is so much more
important than the results.
Right, because who cares aboutmaking a million dollars if you

(25:15):
lose your health in the processor you never got to see your
kids grow up because you didn'thave time to see them?
Right, and I think, acknowledging what truly are our
top values and really standingby them and really embodying
them and really showing peoplehow we embody them.
That is magnetic.

(25:36):
That is magnetic to the kind ofabundance we actually want,
right?
Um, and everything's everythingis accessible these days.
Every piece of information youcould ever possibly need is out
there.
Every result has been createdby someone.
So why do your people want to doit with you?

(25:56):
It's because of the way youlead yourself through your work,
it's your unique values, it'sthe boundaries that you hold,
it's the standards that you liveby, it's what you create space
for and it's also what you're ahard no for.
Right, and you're the one thatpaves the path to your client's
dreams by living it first.
You are the bushwhacker withthe machete in the jungle, and

(26:20):
it can feel really hard to bedoing that job sometimes, but
that is why people hire youright.
And it's the truth and theawesome.
It's the authenticity and thealignment that births an actual
dream life and business, onethat actually feels amazing for
you, not one where you'regetting the results but it still

(26:40):
feels like shit and you stilldon't have half of the things
that you really want in yourlife.
So these are really the aspectsof a brand identity that I
think really matter when itcomes to attracting clients into
your high ticket offer.
It's all about how it feels andit's not about being perfect.
It's about being authentic andit doesn't mean you have to feel

(27:03):
all of those ooey gooey goodfeelings all the time you know a
part of.
I think one of the key values ofpeople in this community is
authenticity and, as we know, authenticity does not always
feel easy right.
It means like going up againstpeople.
It means being willing forpeople to take shots and
criticize and tear us down orattack us or like reject us.

(27:25):
That is a big part of standingin our truth and that is not fun
a lot of the time.
Um, but it's it.
That's the type of feel goodversus the twist yourself into a
pretzel to fit other people'sidea of who you should be Like.
That's the worst type ofdiscomfort there is Leadership.

(27:47):
The majority of time it feelsuncomfortable, it feels edgy and
maybe like you want to throw upin your mouth a little bit
because you are taking risks.
But be taking the risks thatfeel right down deep in your
bones, not the type of risksthat lead to you burning out,
you sacrificing your health, yougoing to jail or never seeing

(28:07):
your family, or sacrificing yourintegrity or you know, any of
the things that you really donot want.
So I hope you've loved theseries.
Let me know what landed for youand for my next episode I'm
