Welcome back to Midnight in the Mountains. It's Laura here, and on this
episode we have part two of NADPwith Nick Valenti. We discussed some Missing
four one one theories and some wildernesssafety. If you have a true paranormal
story you'd like to share and bea guest on the show, or just
have your story right on the show, send me an email at Midnight Underscore

at Midnight Underscore in the Mountains orgo to my website Midnight in the Mountains
dot com. All right, guys, thanks for listening. Let's get into
it. It depends. It dependson if you believe about in it.
You know, it's just like it'sjust like when you're down in Louisiana.
(01:07):
They have their rituals down there andthey could make a life size type of
effigy of you and starts sticking pinsin it, and you know, if
you believe it in enough, it'llaffect you. It does affect things.
I mean, I I believe inthat kind of stuff. Like say,
you know, if somebody does thatto you and you don't believe in it,
(01:30):
I think it's still gonna affect youno matter what. I mean.
That stuffs that stuffs powerful. I'vewitnessed firsthand, not any like dark magic.
But just recently I went away.I was supposed to be on a
trip and stay overnight at the ShanleyHotel, but I couldn't even stay there
because that place was so so heavyand so dark. I went and got
(01:53):
an Airbnb. I left because Icouldn't do it. I fully believe that
if somebody wants to cur if youbelieve in it or not, it's going
to hit you. I absolutely don'tbelieve it. In my early days before
crypto zoology, were in and investigatingthe paranormal spirits, ghosts and the whatnot,
(02:13):
and we did everything soup the nuts, and I'm going to tell you
we did things like walked through ahaunted dot called really dangerous graveyard at twelve
midnight. Everybody that supposedly walked fromeast to west through this little passageway at
twelve midnight. When they were wentto the other end, they were either
(02:35):
had white hair or they were totallyscared to death and they were totally changed.
I did the walk nothing. I'veinvestigated a lot of paranormal things now,
not that it probably doesn't exist. You know, I'm not saying it
doesn't exist out there, But allthe times we were out there, I
couldn't prove anything. As a matterof fact, we disproved a lot of
things like cold spots and things likethat. And I did do the walk
(03:00):
cemetery and nothing happened to me.And I'll be honest with you, if
if I was down there in somewhich doctor down in louisiananimated efficity of me
with sticky pins, I say,can I add that for a second here,
Let me add that for a second. I want to stab it myself
and I'll show you it's you're fullof crap because I personally don't believe it.
And I think the mind is thestrongest thing. If you believe in
(03:22):
something that that's not real, wellyou know, then it's going to affect
you. I just don't believe init, absolutely don't. So I fully
believe what you're saying about the mindbeing the strongest thing, because it's definitely
stronger than we even realize. Andyou can definitely talk yourself into things,
and you could definitely produce side effectwith just your brain. I just don't
(03:43):
think that you have been at thecorrect location, because I've been to a
handful of places and I can Icould definitely tell you. But I'm also
I've just recently found out that I'mlike EmPATH and like sensitive to stuff,
so I like I can field offand I so so for example, with
the Shanley, I'm not going toget into the whole spiel about it,
but I didn't. I went intothat building only knowing like a quarter of
(04:09):
the history. Honest to god,I only knew a little bit about it,
and I didn't even last a halfhour. And there it was.
I could feel it. It wasso heavy, and I burst into tears
for no reason because it was sooppressive, Like I just had this it
was really bad, and I waslike, this place is really dark and
it's really bad and I don't knowwhat, but something's wrong here. I
(04:31):
got off the property and I wasimmediately better. And then the next morning,
after the group that I was with, I met back up with them
and they told me all this stuffabout the history, and I was like,
no, wonder why I could notstay there? Well that you can
actually stay in yes, no,it's it's a hotel. And so I
(04:56):
did know it was haunted. AGranted, I've been to other places that
are haunted, and I've slept atanother Like, I've slept at two other
haunted places in the one place Istayed there three nights total, I've been
there twice, So I didn't Idid not react like that at those other
places knowing that they were haunted. So that's just like full blown proof to
(05:19):
me. I mean, I guess, like I like, I didn't even
tell my sister the story because shethinks I'm crazy half the time when I
talk about this stuff. She's probablyshe probably doesn't believe in Dogman or Bigfoot
or anything like that. She's likea skeptical believer but won't admit she's a
believer kind of thing. She stilldoesn't believe stuff. But I'm like,
(05:39):
just one day, you're going tohave some kind of experience and you're you're
not going to think I'm crazy anymore. So But anyways, um, yeah,
something, That's what I'm saying withyou, wait till you get to
a place that's severely haunted and somethingis that where haunted And we're even in
the Inns book. Yeah, ontelevision and stay there a long time.
(06:01):
I'd love to go to that placethat you were just talking about and uh
and see what happens. You know, it would be great. I mean
honestly though, and I'm not saying, oh, I'm better than you or
anything like that. Just some peoplefeel nothing. Some people don't feel that
stuff. It doesn't it doesn't affectthem. They just don't. They're not
sensitive to it. I know itmeans the oppressive feeling though, because Kentucky
(06:26):
that was at nighttime. During thedaytime, I didn't feel it so much.
At nighttime it was oppressive. There'sa place like that in Pennsylvania that's
known for some really messed up stuffgoing on, and it feels like that
in the daytime and then when itgets dark out it gets even worse.
Oh right, Oh yeah, thatthat plays good to crap out of me.
(06:48):
I don't know if i'd ever goback there, but I probably will.
Is it in Pennsylvania? That?Yeah, it's um it's like it's
part of my show State four US. I'm sure you've heard of it because
it's known for like big foot sightings. M Well, if you ever think
you're going back there and you're gonnastay let me know. I'm not gonna
(07:10):
stay overnight. I'm absolutely not goingto stay overnight there. Come up there.
Yeah, you could sit in theparlor over there and wait right through
the whole night. That would begreat. I'm telling you, I got
I swear to you, I gotbuff charged there. Yeah. And there's
I don't know, oh, aspirit, no, I think have I
(07:31):
mean, have you ever heard oflike big foot buff charging people? Yeah?
Yeah. So it's like where youyou hear something come running full force
at you, crashing through the woods. You hear the leaves, branches going
and then all of a sudden, boom, it stops dead, silent,
and nothing is there. You're expectingto see this giant, massive creature,
(07:53):
monster, bear, something, andthere's nothing there. When we first got
there, it was still late inthe afternoon, but it was during the
summer, so it was actually ona summer solstice day, so it's the
longest day of the year. Andwe got there and as immediately when we
pulled into the forest, I waslike this place. I was like,
(08:15):
oh my gosh, I don't likehow it feels. It felt really ominous.
And we get there and we getout of our cars and it smells
like rotten animals, rotten garbage. And I didn't realize till after we got
home that we didn't smell that smellwhen we got back in our cars at
the end of the night. Sonow, if there was something dead there,
(08:37):
you would we would have smelt itno matter what. And I swear
to you, the two other peopleI were with did not hear this,
but I heard it. I hearda roar up far off into the wood,
and then I was asking them, you know, did you hear this?
And nobody else heard it. Butthen when we were farther into the
wood, right before we got tothe point where we're going to turn around
(08:58):
and go back because the sun wasstarting to that, the two other people
I was with saw a like awhite light, a white orb into the
woods. But I didn't see it. But I've also been other places in
Pennsylvania where there's it's known for theseorb lights that are red, green,
blue, white, No idea whatthey are, but yeah, I've been
(09:20):
to some weird places. Pennsylvania's prettycrazy. Sounds interesting sounds though, Oh
my gosh, something I would liketo put out there, if you don't
mind a shameless advertisement, not formyself, but for dog Men and Cryptic
conference that they're having on August twelfthand thirteenth of this year in Paris,
(09:43):
Tennessee. Josh Turner, who youmentioned from Paranormal round Table, Josh is
probably the only guy that could pulloff something like this with the people that
are going to be showing up therenow, I think it's going to be
a one of a kind type ofa thing. Unless Josh does this another
year or two, it'll be thefirst time you're going to have sixteen known
(10:07):
cryptozoology type people all in the sameplace. In the past, in the
twenties, thirties, forties, fiftiesand sixties, when you had like Sir
Roger Hillman go up, you know, looking for the Yeti and you had
Sanderson looking for Bigfoot and stuff likethat. Those crypto zoologists of the day,
(10:28):
they never all got together, andthere was a lot of them because
back then it was a big dealfor a corporation, mind you, from
the twenties all the way up intothe sixties to give out grants to have
Safari type of searches up in theHimalayas and down in South America, you
(10:50):
know, looking for the different cryptidsthat were reported there. The YETI is
like one of the biggest things, the abominable Snowman. Now only one time
in history that I've ever seen thatthey have two men come together and have
a picture. When we're in Paris, Tennessee on the thirteenth of August,
We're going to take a picture ofsixteen of the biggest well known zoology people
(11:15):
all in one place. And they'regonna take a picture of all of us
in one shot. The hotel said, in order to rent the conference center,
they wanted the money, but theyalso wanted a sixteen by twenty four
glossy that they can frame and putup on the wall to show that this
actually happened there. One of akind deal. I'm telling you, Turner
(11:37):
knows all of us. Yeah,he does. Needs like the only guy
I can think of that could actuallyput something like this together. And I'm
gonna be driving fourteen and a halfhours from New Jersey over to Paris,
Tennessee a one shot deal. I'llbe there on the eleventh because the twelfth
is the VIP dinner and that Ithink fifty people purchase VIP tickets and you
(12:00):
get a dinner and Josh is arrangedto give you guys all kinds of swag,
you know, shirts, hats, patches, badges, you name it.
I'm going to pitch in some anadp badges, patches. Actually,
well you could see it, butthe people can't see it. Well actually,
yeah too. Well either here wego, there you go. You
(12:20):
know we're gonna we're gonna give themtheir money's worth. It's well worth it,
because if you're gonna buy a dinner, you're getting a dinner from a
super caterer that he's bringing in overthere. Anyway, Plus you have the
next day's ticket paid for already, and that's on the thirteenth, and that's
supposed to be that's the big day. We're gonna have people talking from ten
(12:41):
o'clock in the morning, we're allthe way to seven o'clock at nighttime,
so people can pick who they wantto listen to, what different cryptozoologists,
or you've got a bunch of authorsover there. Of course, they'll have
some boots over here so people canbuy things to eat and drink. I
guess they'll have boots over here thatthey can purchase. Whatever people have,
you know, whatever wears they haveover there, books or patches, t
(13:03):
shirts and hats and the like. But that's in Paris, Tennessee on August
thirteenth. Should be a wonderful time. I mean, I can't wait.
That's so I'll throw about the fourteenand a half hour ride. But I'm
going to be bringing equipment with methat I don't think the TSA would be
too kind about me bringing onto anairplane electronic flash bangs, the bear spray
(13:26):
and other certain things. I'm gonnabe giving a talk. I think they
got me set up for seven o'clockat night, probably the last one to
speak. And as I was tellingJosh, I don't that's okay. You're
saving the best for last. Whenthey have an MMA fight or a boxing
boxing fight, a big one, they'll have the preliminaries and then the last
(13:48):
the big ones. So I'm goingto give everybody ceremonies worth I'll demonstrate my
electronic flash bangs. I'll demonstrate theDeciple one hundred and forty six Desciple whistles,
I'll show them the lasers, showa lot of things that I take
out there and give them practical hintswhat they can do when doing field investigations
(14:09):
and how to stay safe while you'reout there. The thing I always try
to mention to people is to alwayslook up. People have a bad habit
of looking down or just straight ahead. Now, I always stare at the
ground when I'm hiking because I'm afraidI'm going to trip. Now, look
at the look at the bottom ofthe ground, but also look ahead of
you up in the trees. Doyou know a mountain lion from a standstill
(14:33):
can jump fourteen feet straight up?I mean your cat. You ever see
your cat jump from the ground tothe top of a kitchen cat table or
even yeah, yeah, I meanif your cat can do that, imagine
what a super strong mountain lion cando. And we have them here in
the United States, and they couldjust bounce right up fourteen feet. I
(14:56):
mean that in my mind, thatis just like wow. That is they
could be up there in the tree. A black bear can climb a tree,
Believe it or not, people don'tunderstand bears can climb trees. Real
well, a bear could be upthere, you know. But what you
don't want. You don't want thatmountain lion to be up there in that
tree, because when you're passing buyingit's hungry, it can jump down on
you. That's why I try totell people if there's at least one thing
(15:20):
that you need to go out therein the woods with, it's bear spray
and learn how to use it.There is a safety on it. You
want that thing in your hand, that canister in your hand, and if
something is threatening you, you justblast it. You need to do something
to defend yourself, you know. And that's that's a good way to defend
yourself. If there's a snake onthe ground and it's coming towards you,
(15:43):
you blast that thing with that andthat thing's good and not come near you.
It's going to burn. It burnsand it suffocates. So I mean,
if there's anything you're going to takeout there in the wilderness, take
bear spray with you. If ahuman is out there trying to attack you,
at least you have the bear spray. And you know, Laura,
if you would just allow me anotherminute or two to expand on that human
(16:06):
part, I'm sorry. You're done. I think. Yeah, good for
everybody that the missing the missing fourone one Idaho. You would think that
that would be a nice state tolive in. Idaho is the biggest missing
person's state in the state of theUnion, and I just couldn't believe it.
(16:27):
But it runs straight up to Canada, and all they have to do
is go over the border and gowest, you know. And a lot
of a lot, a lot ofpeople have gotten kidnapped in Idaho. I
have one of my members that contactedme several months back and a guy came.
He stopped his car on a streetthat must have been near her to
(16:48):
trail as she was walking, andhe came running through the woods straight at
her. Luckily, Luckily, thiswoman carries a forty five caliber handgun.
She took it out of the holsterthat was on her left side and pointed
it right at him and said, don't come any closer. I will shoot
you. He ran. Now,her only mistake was that she didn't report
(17:11):
him, his description and his carand everything else to the police. She
never reported it. Why I'm sayingthis to you is because about three weeks
later, a woman went missing fromthe exact same spot that she was almost
accost to that and that woman wasnever found. Now, my member who
(17:33):
was approached by that guy and shepulled the gun on him, she contacted
me via Facebook messenger and told methe whole story, and we went over
it and over it, and shetold me about this young lady that was
missing, and she had just foundout about it. She was missing for
a day and a half at thetime. I got two of my members
to go up there, their formermilitary and their trackers, and I had
(17:56):
two of them go up there intoto help assist trying to find this woman.
They never found her. I mean, if she's not there, you
know, if somebody kidnaped her, maybe she's gone. Now missing four one
one the show says it's either aperson who's attacked by a predator animal and
(18:18):
eaton and dragged off. That's one. Number two they fell in a hole.
Number three a human has kidnapped themor killed them. Now, out
of those three things, they havecadavered dogs that can smell you if you're
underwater. They can smell dead bodies. So actually these dogs would find the
(18:38):
people. So if you're in ahole, they're going to find you.
If you've been attacked by an animal, there should be some body parts left
over, there should be some blood. If you're taken by a kidnapper,
all right, maybe there's no blood. Maybe they knocked you out and they
took you away. But missing fourone one only talks about here we go
again. Three things they're not talkingabout possible cryptid because there's a lot of
(19:03):
reports that I've read and I've beensent via email or a messenger on Facebook
about sasquatch kidnapping human females. Notsomething I would like to even think about
it or discuss, but not somethingthat's that you want to think about,
believe me. Or possibly a dogman grabbing you know, people, whether
(19:26):
it be male or female or someother cryptid. So that's a number four.
Besides you know, falling in ahole, being kidnapped by a human,
or being eaten by a known animal, it's encryptid. And number five.
You might might think in your mind, well, I don't hear about
this too much, but I do, I personally do. Possible kidnapping by
(19:49):
an alien. And we're talking UFObecause over the years, you've you've heard
many cases, there's been many casesreported of kidnappings of human beings by UFOs
by alien. So there's something else. The worst thing, I one of
the worst things that people can possiblythink about, though, is the human
(20:10):
trafficking and in Idaho. Human traffickingis abundant, and I don't know why
the government doesn't stop it. It'sit's just a horrible thing to think about.
I mean, as a woman, you can appreciate being kidnapped and being
drugged and taken to another a foreigncountry, you know, thousands of miles
away and you can't get home andyou're now drugged. I mean, that's
a horrible thing. I noticed we'retalking about cryptods on your show, but
(20:34):
it's it's something I want to bringout to people. And if they could
ever you know, influence the politicsand the politicians to you know, look
into it more deeply and try tostop it, it would be great to
me. The people are the scariestout of everything that we just talked about.
It so just it's disgusting and it'ssad. Horrible, Yeah, horrible.
(21:00):
That's why I really recommend to bearspray. It can be used against
known animals, cryptids and humans. And if it happens to be a gray
alien, what the heck, whatare you gonna lose? Squirt them?
You know, if anything, maybeit'll save your life. Well maybe it'll
get you back home too. AndI mean even if somebody out there listening
to this, here's you and listensto this and they pick up some bear
(21:22):
spray or pepper spray. It cansave their life one day. So you
have no idea who you know we'reimpacting by putting this out. So it's
definitely a good thing to talk about, even though it's not crypted related.
Well, it's it's one one thingI try to slip in here if they
allow me to, and you graciouslyhave allowed me to. And just being
former paramilitary and former police, I'mgoing to tell you, I just it
(21:45):
just disgusted me that, you know, some of the stuff that goes on
out there, and the reports I'veread, you know, and violations human
on human and you know, gangsdoing stuff like that. It's just it's
just horrible. But if I could, I can say one person then doing
all these shows, it's been worthit. It's really good And definitely i'd
(22:06):
like to say thank you for yourservice. For sure, I appreciate it.
And I'm quite sure everybody out thereyou know who has served and helped
out the country, they all appreciateit too. They're all some of them
are also going through their their ownproblems. What are the people that actually
go towards the action and not runaway from it. And oh, I
know, yeah, I know forsure that I wouldn't I wouldn't want to
(22:30):
do that. I mean I tryto make sure if I see, you
know, a veteran with a haton, I always go up to them
and say thank you, And likeninety eight percent of the time they always
say to me so genuine they saythank you to me for even acknowledging them.
Definitely, Yeah, I mean there'sa lot of veterans out there,
(22:52):
just like people who don't report theysaw cryptids, there's a lot of veterans
that don't seek help out there.I know my dad he saw action and
it has affected him. But hehas such a strong mind that he's went
through it all these years. ButI know it has affected him in many
ways. And I mean I couldsee it because we're so close. But
(23:15):
there's a lot of veterans out therethat have been affected and they don't want
help. They don't want to askfor help, or they don't believe they
need help, and they've probably beenaffected by it because after all, how
many people can see, you know, they're fellow soldiers or their brothers in
arms blown up by a ied,you know, or some sort of RPG
(23:36):
miss rocket, you know, andthat's been shot at him, or guy's
been shot. I have some peoplethat have told me stories about their time
in Vietnam, and one guy inparticular, he was walking next to his
buddy in Vietnam and the next thing, the guy's head was blown off by
a sniper. I mean his headjust won boom, you know. So
(23:56):
that's that's kind of effects on people. And how do you I don't know
how you come back from that.I can't even watch movies like that,
so to go through that real life, it's I can't even imagine. I
mean, you're seeing, you know, somebody killed right next to you,
and you're seeing death right next toyou. You know, it's it's it's
don't have the proper word for it, but it's it's just it just affects
(24:18):
you bad, really does. Andsome people they just let it stay with
them their whole lives, and youknow, they're they're changed to totally change
people. Then at that point, which brings us full circle around to cryptids
and people that have seen them, and a lot of them have been seen
because a lot of people have reportedit, and in my estimation, only
(24:40):
thirty percent of all the people thathave seen a cryptid have have reported it
in some way. That other seventypercent just said it. I don't want
to know nothing about it, andI don't want to report it because I
don't want to be readiculed or Idon't want to be marked as a lunatic
or something like this. And there'sbeen a lot of people out there that
have seen it. I have seena sasquatch, for instance, say in
(25:03):
California. I know of this onefamous plastic surgeon. He was pulled over
one day on his way home andhe was surrounded by police officers. They
called him for backup because the copthat stopped him for his eating saw on
his passenger side seat forty four magnumpistol. And when they finally got more
(25:23):
police officers over there, and theygot him out of a car, and
he gave him his idea and everything. He gave them the whole story.
He had sasquatch bigfoot as we calleda United States and Canada called sasquatch.
He had these big foot in hisbackyard. And mind you, he owned
about ten acres of property. Hehad this giant house with this great backyard
(25:47):
with pools and all that a cabana, and he and his family had seen
several sasquats running around in his backyardand he was so scared. Yet he
couldn't tell anybody because he's a plasticsurgeon, a well known plastic surgeon.
Yet he was driving home with thatforty four magnum on his seat. It
was all illegal, by the way, even for California. That was my
(26:08):
first question when you said that,Well, he had purchased it legally.
It was a revolver six shot revolverforty four magnum. He had to carry
permit because after all, he wasa well known, famous plastic surgeon,
and he carried money with him attimes. And I guess that was the
reason why they allowed him to getit. Because he feared for his life
(26:30):
from people that didn't like his workor whatever, and he had threats that
he proved it. But the policewanted to know why he had it out
and he opened and he says, because as soon as I hit my driveway,
you know, I might see thesecreatures and I might be attacked,
and I am afraid. And whathappened was it got down to the Sheriff's
department and they actually sent a coupleof patrol cars there and a couple of
(26:52):
patroma went out into his backyard andthey actually heard grunts and noises in the
backyard, but they never got tosee, you know, the sasquatchtion.
This gentleman's backyard, this doctor's backyard. So you know, like I said,
people will be ridiculed. And outof one hundred percent of the people
out there and I've seen them,I only say thirty percent will have reported
(27:17):
it because they just don't want tohave to put up with that. And
a lot of people just want toforget it or they just want to forget
what they've seen. In my case, I've been back to where I've had
my sighting and my encounter, andI've been back there with a team of
seven several times that I've been tryingto find it. I've been actually trying
to find where they could possibly besleeping or hiding at night, because that's
(27:40):
the closest for me, that's theclosest thing for me. Like I said,
the Lenape Indians actually have a burialground up there. It said it's
amazing. Cryptozoology is amazing. Imean, I've been to West Virginia and
checked out the mothman, and Ithink, to my satisfaction, I've proven
to me that it was a sandhill crane. Sandhill cranes have eyes that
(28:03):
are about six inches long from topto the bottom, and the skin around
the eyes is red in color. And remember animals have that eyeshine, so
at nighttime, if a light hitsthe eyes, it's gonna have eyeshine.
And if a light hits the eyes, you're going to see the red around
the eyes. And a lot ofsandhill cranes are about five eight six foot
(28:25):
tall, and they have a verywide wingspan, and if you look at
it in the map, they comefrom all the way down south and they
have a flight pattern that goes rightthrough West Virginia all the way up to
Michigan. So they have their timeof the year where they have they're taking
a flight pit path all the waythrough there, and they may make stop
(28:48):
walls here and there. I've beento West Virginia several times. I've checked
the area out where the sightings wereand I get told you, I have
this thing to prove it to disprove, and to me, I feel like
I've disproven what the mothman is.But other people said, oh, well,
what about near O'Hare Airport in Chicagoflying I was going to go there.
(29:11):
Okay, well, I've been there. I've been there, and I've
been to an area where they wherethe sightings were very prevalent. And one
sighting in particular happened at an oldchurch that wasn't used anymore, and it
had like the clapboard where where therewas openings so that you could hear the
bell when they rang the bell inthere. What I saw one night because
(29:34):
I went there with a FOREX nighttimescope and I was looking through that area
and I actually saw a mothman likebody flying around. Now, when I
used my scope instead of my humaneye, I actually zoomed in on it
and it was bats. You knowhow birds and geese will fly in a
(29:57):
pattern you receive the in a pattern. These bats were flying all together and
in a pattery. And I wishwe had video because I would like to
show you the pattern. They weredoing something similar to a figure a pattern
in the air, and they wereall staying together and it looked like a
(30:17):
body. It didn't look like ahuman body to me, but it looked
like a body, and they weresticking together. And these were bats,
So either sandhill crane or a bunchof bats, you know. And like
I said, and the tubacabra downin just over the border from Texas in
New Mexico, a hybrid, ahybrid of a coyote and a wolf,
(30:37):
you know. To me, atleast, you know, I'm proving some
things out there. I have yetto come across a big foot or a
sasquatch. Have yet to come acrossone. I've had a very large piece
of wood thrown my way, butI've never come across one. I've heard
the wood knox when I was inColorado and in Washington State, but I'd
(30:57):
never come across one yet. SoI'm trying to this day. Like I
said, field investigation is my love, my passion. I love being out
there boots on the ground. AndI'll still continue going to different states,
you know, and try to findout things. Anytime somebody gives me a
report or something and it's and it'sviable, like the one we had above,
(31:19):
and you know, north of thePoconos, four different sources when you
have four different sources of people tellingyou stuff. You just have to check
it out, and I have themeans to check it out, so we
go and do it. Did youhear about the mothman sightings that were like
in the parking garage of the airport, it'll hair. I haven't gotten very
(31:41):
much information I've heard. See.That's that's why. That's why i'm you
know, I can see the batthing and the crane. But people have
said that they've seen these figures inthe parking garage walking like to and from
their car, like you know,if their flight attendants after work. Huh.
So I don't know, that's somethingelse you could look into. I've
(32:04):
read. I've read a couple ofreports on where there were buildings up not
a Chicago, hair, but inthe Chicago area. They were putting up
new buildings and they were still underconstruction, and the police were cold up
there and they actually one of theofficers actually saw something, uh six foot
(32:25):
tall, black with red eyes andwings and it was just standing there on
like a girder. He couldn't getclose to it to get near it,
and I don't think he wanted toget closer to get near it either.
But his description is the description ofwhat the mothman was in West Virginia.
So there's a lot out there that'sunexplained. That's that we're still trying to
(32:49):
explain out there. But from myexperiences, that's where I'm talking from.
I gotta tell you, Laura,I've gotten a lot of messages from people
that they're mad at me for talkingabout it. You know what a tub
is and what a mothman is,And I finally found it after six years
what a Jersey what I thought aJersey devil was, And because I saw
(33:12):
a corpse. A gentleman found onein the field of the land that he
owned, and he brought it inand he put it in a ice chest,
big, big, big ice chest. He had like a three and
a half foot long I guess animal. And what I identified it as is
a horse faced bat. Now,if you look on the internet, you'll
(33:37):
be able to see a horse facebat in factors, one with a gentleman
holding it by the neck, andthat one, in particular was four feet
in length from the feet to thehead. Now, the Jersey devil looks
just like a horse face bat.I'm sorry it does. It has wings,
it has that base, it hasthat skinny body, and it's got
(33:57):
the bat like feet that the descriptionand has been given since oh god,
way back in the early eighteen hundred. So, like I said, I'm
liable to get nasty notes from peoplewho are listening to your show again who
haven't heard me the first time arounddescribing these animals. But I'm going to
tell you like it is, ifI find something out there and I say
(34:17):
I saw a sasquatch, well thisis what I saw, And I'm telling
you I saw a sasquatch. Butif I see a tubacaba or and I
can prove that, you know,a mothman looks like a sandhill crane or
a Jersey devil is a horse facedbat, well that's that's my opinion,
because I've seen them in the fleshat least. Well that's the other thing
(34:38):
too, is you are you aregoing out there, you are meeting with
people, You're seeing these things,You're going to these places. You're also
digging in doing the research, goingto local libraries looking for you know,
local old books everything. So untilsomebody else is going to do that,
then then they can, you know, stop being their keyboard warrior. Self
(35:04):
and you're feeling at you, soyou call them that. That's what I
say. They are a keyboard warriorseverything. Yet it's only comes from looking
at the Internet. They're never outthere in the field. Yeah that does
that doesn't count. I mean it'ssick at. What I was trying to
get in there before is if yougo to an old library and they have
micro film or microfiche, you know, from the seventeen hundreds or eighteen hundreds
(35:27):
to the newspapers, Oh my god, you'll find so much stuff in there.
I mean you have pictures of abunch of guys with a thunderbird that
they shot way back when, wayback Oh my gosh, hundreds. Yeah,
I mean this thing was huge.It looked like a terror doctile,
you know, one of those reallybig prehistoric flying creatures. Um, there
(35:52):
are just so many pictures out therethat they published way back when. And
mind you, they use those oldcameras with the heavy flashbulbs that went off
and everything. So yeah, ifyou find yourself down down south and in
an old library, definitely asked themfor newspaper articles from the seventeen and eighteen
(36:13):
hundreds, and you'd be surprised whatyou're find. You really would, yeah,
I would like. That's a dreamof mine to go do that and
just research stuff like that. Andactually, it's funny that you mentioned that,
because the other day I was tryingto do some research for something that
I want to look into, andI found a newspaper from Pennsylvania and it
(36:37):
had this story from the eighteen hundredsand it was they found a human head
and a chunk of ice and theDelaware River, and then it goes through
the story of how it got thereand that these people like murdered this kid
because he would go around and hewould sell rings like jewelry, so they
(37:00):
murdered him. And then the womanwhose son got killed supposedly she had given
her son her wedding ring, whichI don't know why you would ever do
this, but she took her weddingring off and gave it to her son
to put in the box to makeit look like the boxes full go around
and present this and say, youknow what, do you want to buy
this? He would go from doorto door like a peddler, and she
(37:22):
ended up seeing these these kids thatmurdered her son and they had her wedding
ring. So she went, youknow, like she had told the cops,
like, yeah, they did thisbecause he has my ring, and
this is what happened. But itwas just the craziest story I was I
was never expecting that to find deadperson's head floating in an ice chunk in
(37:43):
the Delaware River from the eighteen hundreds, the story behind it, it's just
amazing. And that's another reason Ihave a bachelor's degree currently in zoology and
I'm working on the masters. Andthe master's degrees is so hard. But
I always tell people, you needto be able to recognize a real animal
before you can say, oh,that's a cryptid. I saw a cryptid.
(38:07):
How do you know it's not abear. You got to know different
types of bears. You got blackbears that'll go up to six feet six
feet two. You know, theygenerally are not going to go up to
like every d twelve like a grizzly, or if you go to a polar
bear. I mean, most peopleare not going to see a polar bear
as they go up to a lastgirupe to the Arctic. However, you've
(38:27):
got to be able to know whatyou're looking at in order to say,
oh, I think I saw acryptid, you know, which is another
thing I tell people is to tryto go to zoos, go to a
zoo and see an animal in person. I mean to see. I went
up to the Philadelphia Zoo many manyyears ago and they had this nine hundred
and fifty pound tiger. His namewas George. Who was the biggest tiger.
(38:52):
I think they hit that they hadat a zoo. Ever, George
was humongous. You would not believethe size of a pause on this tiger.
Beautiful, gorgeous animal. But thelook at him and something else people
can can experience too, Like ifyou got too close to George's cage and
he felt you were encroaching on hisarea, he would let out that deep
(39:17):
chesty roar, not so much athroaty roar, but chesty roar, and
it would go right through you likeasound. Yes, that's what I was
getting at the infrasound. And peoplehave spoken out there about sasquatch or dog
men firing infrasound at them. Well, there's a reason that they would do
(39:37):
that. Would they do that tokeep them away from their water source,
their food source. Possibly they hada fresh kill, or they want to
keep them away from where they live, and they want to keep humans away
from Maybe they're young, So there'smany reasons why they'll shoot that infrasound out
there, and not so much dogmen, But sasquatch has used mind speak
(40:01):
saying, don't take that picture ofme. Don't you dare fired at rifle
at me, you know, Andthey've used mind speak on people. Now,
I've known a couple of people.I know one gentleman, Jeremiah Fontaine,
I've known him personally, and he'sgot knocked down by the infrasound and
the mind speak by I believe sasquatchup in the out of Randucks area in
(40:25):
New York State. I think hewas just too close to the young and
they warned him off and he actuallygot knocked to the ground twice to different
Yeah it can make you sick.Yeah, it was horrible for him.
I mean he was really really andhe's a sasquatch investigator out there, he's
one of the big ones out therein upstate New York. I guess he
(40:49):
just got a little bit too close. But infrasound mind speak. If you
want to, like I said, you want to experience infrasound. Hey go
to a zoo and get too close, to go next to the tiger cage
or the lion cage, or maybeeven a bear cage and actually look at
these animals. There was a zooin western northwestern New Jersey called, oh
(41:15):
boy, it's been a while now, the Space Zoo, and that's in
northwestern New Jersey. Space Zoo usedto have Goliath, the largest bear in
captivity, and he was scientifically bredwhen they got him. Originally he was
the biggest bear, one of thebear cubs that they had found in the
(41:35):
wooded area, and they took himto the zoo and they scientifically fed him
so that he would have all theadvantages to grow. He was over twelve
feet tall. And this is abrown bear. When I went there many
many years ago, I think he'sdead now. When I went there many
many years ago and I saw him, he was lying down and I'm going
to tell you twelve feet Yeah,he was one large specimen. So,
(42:01):
I mean, I can't imagine peoplegoing out in the woods and you don't
come across a cryptod, but aregular animal finds you. And like I
always like to say, now, what's your game plan? Do you actually
have that pepper spray? Do youhave something to defend yourself with? Do
you even know what to do?If you run? You're now known as
(42:22):
prey, so you really need tostand and know what to do. Then,
why before we go out on aboots out of ground field investigation,
we get the maps of the area, We get any information of the area
that we could possibly get. Andhere's another tip comes from the military.
The area that you're going to beoperating in, get yourself a nice telescope
(42:46):
or low power telescope or binoculars andscope out the area. Scope out the
area as much as you possibly can, as deep as you possibly can.
And then once you've been like fiftyfeet into the area, pull those binoculars
or telescope out a game and scopeout the area. You don't need a
high powered telescope or binoculars, golow powered, wide field of view and
(43:10):
look and look and make sure youlook because when you're looking across there,
and this has happened with us,we were going to go into this one
certain area and we saw a mamabear with three cubs. So we're not
going in that area. We're goingto go a mile away from that area
and come in at another angle. You know, there's there's no need to
disturb the wildlife there, and noneed to have her come at us either.
(43:32):
And you definitely don't want to disturba mama bear with her little cubs.
They were so cute, though,Laura, I'm gonna tell you you
want to go grab one and playwith it, he will rip you apart.
A bear is about ten times strongerthan a human mail, and a
strong human mail. That's that's wherea disadvantage you have where you live in
Pennsylvania. You know, if abear came up to your door and had
(43:57):
the piece of mind to want tosmack your door in, if they'd hit
your door, you're double double boltlocks and and your locks and stand up
to that bear smack. Um.I saw a camera footage of people that
had, you know, housecams, and a bear in Pennsylvania came up to
the door and smacked it. Itdidn't even look like it was, you
(44:20):
know, using any force. Ithit that door to door and slamming in,
and it went through the house. And the damage it did to that
house, I can't tell you.I mean, it's pretty bad. I
don't know how you folks have pullsup there. Absolutely don't know how you
can have them, because there's alot of a lot of footage out there
in Pennsylvania. People have cameras intheir way, and the bears come and
they jump in their pulls. No, I've seen that, but I've never
(44:45):
I don't know anybody that that's everhappened too. But I have seen them,
you know, ripped down the birdthe bird feeders, and they do
that so easily, like it's nothing. Just one swipe and they pull it
down. I've seen them knock over, you know, a post that was
cemented in the ground, just knockit over like it's nothing, and just
oh, I'm gonna pull this overand I'm gonna eat the bird seat out
(45:06):
of it. Remember a six hundred, six hundred fifty pound bear plus,
Like I said, it's ten timesstronger than a strong mail. I'm not
talking about some skinny mail. I'mtalking about a grown strong mail and it
just wax it. You know, that thing's going down. And these black
bear can climb trees. Remember thatI saw in front of him with my
own eyes. I was stopped atan intersection and there was a lady in
(45:30):
a BMW on her cell phone callingfor help. She was about fifty feet
away from where I was stopped, and there was a bear there and it
wouldn't get out of her way,and pinkies up and her BMW, oh,
get out of my way, rightbeeping the horn, aggravating the bear.
The barrowing up to the car andslashed out her car. The bear's
(45:53):
claws actually dug in and took outthe outside skin of the door where it
struck the car. And I'm sayingto myself, lady, back your car
up, you know, he's infront of your car. Back it up
and turn around and get out ofthere. I was just watching this,
and I got on the phone tothe police, and I don't know why
(46:13):
they always asked this question, butthe cock goes, well, was it
acting aggressively towards you, uh,no, officer, or not towards me,
but towards the lady in the BMW, you know. And then I
heard over the air the lady dispatchersaying to the lady on the phone,
why don't you just get out ofair with your car. Don't get out
(46:36):
of the car, back it upand get out or drive forward. She
was on the line with the samepolice department. So what I'm trying to
get it is, when you're outthere, you never know what you're going
to come across. He had,you know, a bare mountain, lion,
coyote, snake, spider, bigfoot, dog man, muffman, some
other crypted. I mean, there'sa lot of other cryptis we could talk
about. Uh, you know, lizard man being out there. You've got
(47:00):
UFOs being out there. Possibly. That's why when I'm out there, you
would see that on my vest.I have a lot of things on it,
and I'm trying to be prepared forwhatever's going to come out there.
It might be something paranormal. SoI have the white salt in the Black
salt, the Holy water, andI've got the sage and my dick light
are ready to light it up.And you never know, you never know
(47:22):
what it's out what's out there,Oh, you definitely don't know. So
I guess that's all the time wehave for tonight. Would you like to
tell us you know where we canfind you, and I'll put all your
links down in the show notes. Then okay, Well, if the easiest
way to find me is in Facebook, looking up the North American Dogman Project
Region three, also Region five, and I've opened up a lot of state
(47:45):
chapters. I've opened up Missouri,West Virginia, New Hampshire, Maine state
chapter just to name a few places. Even though they're all in my region,
we also have I mean, I'mthe regional director. We also have
individual state chapters you know out thereand everything. So just a North American
Dogman Project Region three. And ifanybody can make it to Paris, Tennessee,
(48:10):
on August thirteenth, you can contactme. I can I can help
you find a way to get ticketsthere, or you can just come to
the door to get tickets, andthey're on my site and any of any
of the sites that I have,we have the uh, the way to
get tickets, and we have informationabout the conference that's going on on August
thirteenth. And uh, well,I gotta thank you for having me on
(48:32):
your show. I mean, wecould talk about any other crypto you want,
any other time you want to andwhatever. Yeah, yeah, and
you need to you definitely need tocome back. I really appreciate you taking
your time out and talking to me. Oh, I appreciated you're having me
on. Thank you. Good nightnow good night.
