On February 7th, 1999, 10 year old Erica Baker was out walking her aunt’s dog in a park in Kettering, Ohio, when she vanished without a trace. For years, her disappearance remained a mystery, leaving her family devastated and desperate for answers. Then, in a shocking turn of events, Christian Gabriel came forward, confessing that he had accidentally struck Erica with his van and, in a panic, disposed of her body. Gabriel served just six years in prison, yet was never formally charged with murder, and crucially, he never revealed the location of Erica’s remains. Was his confession genuine, or could it be a cover-up for a much darker truth? With no body and little closure, Erica’s family is left grappling with more questions than answers, as they wonder if they will ever know the full story behind her disappearance.
