The holidays are a time for family, love, and relaxation. Normally, the Wholaver family was excited for the holidays, but things were different this year. Jean and Ernest Wholaver made the difficult decision to divorce after 20 years of marriage. Ernest was forced to leave the home and move back in with his parents away from Jean and their two daughters Vicky and Izzy. But just months after the separation, Jean, Vicky, and Izzy were found dead in their home on Christmas Eve of 2002.
