Marc dives into the history of exploring how the New World Order (NWO) faction in professional wrestling blurred the lines between fiction and reality, influencing American pop culture, sports, and even politics. The book argues that the NWO's groundbreaking approach to storytelling and its ability to manipulate public perception made professional wrestling a necessity for understanding contemporary culture and paved the way for figures like Donald Trump to be a household name. This book is a fantastic read and the episode is even better.
