UNSOLVED: The Disappearance of Bison Dele

Bison Dele, born Brian Williams, was a natural born athlete, a first round NBA draft pick, and an NBA champion, until his final seasons with the Detroit Pistons when he decided to walk away from his career after battling with depression. He was living his best life until July of 2002, when Dele, his girlfriend and the captain of his boat went missing. Erika takes us through Dele’s rise to his career as a professional athlete and his strange disappearance after reconnecting with his estranged brother and discusses the stigmatization of mental illness in the world of professional sports.
