Tara Calico seemingly disappeared out of thin air while riding her bike in September of 1988. The 19-year old rode along New Mexico State Road 47 every single day, but on this day she told her mother she would be home by noon and never showed up. It seemed like there was nothing to go off of in order to find her... no evidence, no body, no witnesses. There are a couple theories on what happened to Tara from polaroids proving her abduction to a full blown deathbed confession that led to where we are today.
