Chef de chantier le jour, Roland Cazaux se métamorphose à la nuit tombée en véritable prédateur, s’introduisant sans un bruit chez ses victimes. Entre 1987 et 2002, il agresse ainsi plus d’une trentaine de femmes dans le Sud-Ouest de la France. Son terrain de chasse s’étend d’Arcachon à Hossegor en passant par Biarritz : partout où il frappe, il ne laisse aucune trace et échappe aux enquêteurs avec une aisance insolente. Son agilité et sa capacité à se mouvoir dans le noir lui ont valu un étrange surnom : le Chat.
