Los Angeles in the late 1940s was in the stages of recovery after World War II. While people strived to find a sense of normality after years of being at war, Los Angeles would soon be haunted by the murder of a young woman found in a vacant lot, cut in half. This is the story of Elizabeth Short, also known as The Black Dahlia.
