Dawn Hunter is originally from the Pacific Northwest and moved to the East Coast for college, graduating from American University in Washington, D.C. After living in Paris post-graduation, she moved to New York City to work in finance.
Why was Swoobie invented?
The steamy summers and swampy subways of NYC presented a new challenge: perspiring through her shirts in the most awkward spot - her bustline. Dawn Hunter knew was problematic for a woman who sweats easily yet lives an active lifestyle in a humid environment. After many years working in the cubicle farms and open office plans of corporate America, she finally decided to follow her passion - problem solving!
