In our latest episode of your favorite movie critique podcast, Jay (mostly Jay) and Louisa discuss the movie "Now You See Me." Louisa is particularly excited because the "Now You See Me" movies have become a franchise. There will eventually be at least 4 movies, with the third one set to come out in November 2025.
"Now You See Me" was a fun and exciting "Popcorn movie." We usually don't do these types of movies on our Critique-o-polis podcast, but again it was a fun movie to watch and I know that we both enjoyed it.
With an all Star Cast, everyone was in this movie, "Now You See Me" is about magic. Four magicians of different specifications are all summoned via a somewhat random tarot card to a special, secret meeting.
At the meeting they learn that they are putting on a series of three Shows for one man and the movie goes on from there. There is mystery, criminal activity, and more. This is a heist movie with magic, so if you enjoy a good heist movie this movie is for you.
We didn't have a recipe for you today as we didn't prepare that detail very well, maybe next time!
As always thank you for listening. Doing this Podcast is a fun hobby for us. Ciao!
