Carlos Ivan Merino, US Business Developer for The Personal DAO Association

Carlos Ivan Merino is the US Business Developer for The Personal DAO Association. Carlos brings over a decade of public service experience in strategic communications and legislative work. As a former Deputy Chief of Staff, he has developed expertise in policy implementation and constituent services while providing consulting to various organizations. Throughout his career, Carlos Iván has demonstrated success in coordinating multicultural outreach programs and managing field operations for political campaigns at state and local levels. In 2018, he helped draft a research paper that became the foundation for legislation establishing a state taskforce to study blockchain implementation across state, county, and municipal governments in New Jersey. This bill was signed into law in 2019. In 2024, he founded the New Jersey Innovation and Technology Alliance, focused on educating residents, businesses, and government entities about the transformative potential of blockchain, AI, and emerging technologies in advancing the state's future. His expertise spans political strategy, government relations, and multimedia communications, which he applies to his consulting practice. Carlos Joins the Personal DAO Association as one of two business developers on the team. His role is to identify and present key opinion leaders that are great candidates to become founders of their own Personal DAOs.
