Normalize Being Human, with our guest, Laura Beth, licensed clinical mental health therapist

The Council sits down with Laura Beth, a licensed clinical mental health therapist to talk about "keeping it real". The group discusses normalizing mental health for our children, the changes that are happening with our generation to make mental health struggles more accepted and discussed. They touch on the impact that the pandemic has had and continues to have on mental health, and how the brain can easily forget but the body remembers and can carry trauma  (and strength) forever.  The women also discuss body image, body neutrality, body positivity, and body acceptance. This episode is jam-packed with so much rich and deep discussion, you won't want to stop listening! Laura Beth's voice and words of wisdom are calming, reflective, reassuring, and powerful.
