When chronic kidney disease (CKD) strikes, it begins an often slow deterioration of the kidneys and their ability to function properly. Steve was experiencing a slow but predictable decline for many years but was still living a normal life. Suddenly however Steve's life was threatened and the cause was initially a mystery. His is a story of how medical and spiritual intervention combined to bring about what even some medical experts considered a miraculous recovery.
