šļø DadDimes on the Rocks ā Episode: The Legend of Doc Holliday (with Special Guest Aron Anderson)
Welcome back to DadDimes on the Rocks, where we sip hard and speak easy. On this episode, we saddle up with a special guestāour good buddy and fellow bourbon renegade, Aron Andersonāto review a bottle as bold and legendary as its namesake: Doc Holliday 7-Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
š„ The Bottle
Crafted by Legends Distillery in Georgia, this small-batch bourbon is aged 7 years and bottled at 115 proof (57.5% ABV). Thatās a strong pour with serious frontier swagger. Named after the infamous gunslinger and dentist himself, this whiskey aims to blend southern elegance with Old West grit.
The bottle is just as much a statement as the juice insideāvintage-style labeling, gold embossed lettering, and that iconic outlaw gaze staring you down before you even twist the cap.
š§ Tasting Notes
Nose:A deep inhale hits with burnt caramel, saddle leather, charred oak, and a kiss of cherry pipe tobacco. There's a faint citrus note under the bold heatāmaybe orange zest or candied ginger.
Palate:
Bold and punchy up frontādark chocolate, leather, cinnamon stick, and toasted pecans. Mid-palate mellows into molasses, clove, and black peppercorn. That 115 proof carries heat, but itās refined, not reckless.Ā
Finish:
Long and warming. Oak-forward with a spicy tail. Youāll remember this pour 10 minutes laterāand thatās no bad thing.

š£ļø Final Verdict (DadDimes)
DadDimes:
āThis isnāt an everyday pour. Itās a Saturday night around the fire kind of pourāwhen you want something that demands your full attention.ā
ā Rating:
š„ 4.5/5 Spurs
This bourbon doesnāt play it safeāand we respect that. Complex, fiery, and full of soul. A bottle for outlaws, legends, and anyone who likes their whiskey with a story.
Thatās it for this round of DadDimes on the Rocks. Huge thanks to Aron Anderson for riding shotgun on this pour. Until next timeāsip slow, shoot straight, and never bring weak whiskey to a standoff. š„š¤
