In our first story tonight, The Gold Children, we return to Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales. In this story, two magical children are born to a poor fisherman and his wife under miraculous circumstances. One goes out into the world to seek adventure, and the other stays home. The one who leaves says that if anything happens to him, then the Golden Lilly in the garden will wilt. When the Lilly wilts, the Gold Child must leave his home to save his brother.
In our second story tonight, The Vindictiveness of Witches, Len and the beast confer with each other about what to do next. Saia finds out that magic has a high price, and failing to pay it has serious consequences.
