Embark with us, Dr. Jarrell and Angela Stokely, as we continue our soul-enriching Navigating Uncertainty series. In this particular conversation, we unlock the mysteries of the Holy Spirit, your ever-present guide through life's unpredictable twists and turns. Together, we dive into the profound impact of divine wisdom and assurance, illustrating how faith can not only carry us through the storm but also empower us to thrive within it. Angela's prayer sets the tone for a deeply spiritual episode that intertwines scripture, experience, and the Holy Spirit's transformative role in our daily lives.

The tapestry of our discussion is woven with threads of spiritual gifts and their role in fortifying the Kingdom of God. From speaking in tongues to healing, we reveal how these gifts enrich our spiritual community and personal faith walk. By quieting our minds and attuning to the Holy Spirit's voice, we uncover the vast reservoir of divine power that lies within, providing us with the wisdom we need to navigate each day. We remind you that flexibility is key in our relationship with God, encouraging you to embrace the unexpected ways the Divine can move and communicate in your life.

As we round out our conversation, we delve into the beauty of transformation that awaits when we allow God to take the lead. We reflect on biblical teachings, such as the story of Peter in Gethsemane, to illustrate the significance of laying down our swords of old habits in exchange for the grace-filled guidance of the Spirit. Let this episode be an invitation to lean into the Holy Spirit's direction, to become students of life's lessons, and to step into the fullness of who you are called to be. Join us for a journey that promises not just to inform, but to transform your spiritual walk.

.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Absolutely, absolutely.
I think something you just said, husband is so powerful.
You talked about receiving aword that allows the power of
God to fall, and I think that'sthe difference yeah.
You know when I think about whywe do what we do, what the hope

(02:23):
and goal of this podcast is andit really is it's about impact.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
And we have impact when the word that is shared has
God's glory on the word Amen.
And in order for that to happen, of course, the glory has to be
on the preacher and the teacher, right, right, in order that
the persons are receiving therama of the word.

(02:52):
And so when you said that, thatreally resonated with me as
something to really highlight, because if the glory is not
there, the impact won't be made.
I love it, and that's what thisis all about, because it's
about helping the body of Christto live, oh, my goodness, and

(03:12):
not die.
And in order for us to do that,we need to be fed the word of
God, right, amen.
And so when you said that, thatjust really hit me a certain
kind of way, because I knowsometimes people can get
regimented and just hearing aword as opposed to the word.
Yeah yeah, living, living, living, living, living, living,

(03:33):
absolutely that can shift yourlife into, into our continue on
the journey that God has instore for you, and I think
that's just so, so veryimportant.
Impact, impact, impact.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Yeah, I love that.
So we're going to develop thatas a tag line.
I love it.
Okay, so our tag line is goingto be glory, impact change.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I love it.
Yeah, yeah, it'll be our newtag line.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
So when we say daily bread podcast, even when we
close out with glory, impactchange.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
I just love that.
That's so good.
Thank you, Angela, for that.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
All right so we're about to dive in, angela's going
to pray for us.
What an anointed woman of Godto pray, can I tell you.
I mean we just need to get hera prayer channel and a prayer
thing going on for folks toconnect with her for prayer.
She's an intercessor.
The glory of God is on her, always has been for prayer.
You talk about praying andrevelation come and breakthrough

(04:28):
come.
I thank God for the anointingon her as a prayer intercessor
at all dimensions, for warfare, for exhortation, for devotion,
for adoration, any of thoselevels of prayer.
She is an intercessor.
So she's going to open us upwith prayer and we're going back
into I know y'all love thistopic I know you did because so
many people loved it navigatinguncertainty.
We're still living in uncertaintimes.

(04:50):
We have a part three todaywe're going to do with you and
we pray it can bless your soul.
So we're going to bring up justa few nuggets from the last
time.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
But navigating uncertainty, part three, take it
away woman of God, come on,join me in prayer.
Father, we bless and thank you,and God, we just give you the
glory, the honor and the praise.
We thank you for opportunityand.
I like how that translates intoso many things.
God, we thank you foropportunity of life, opportunity
of health and strength, opportunity to be forgiven of

(05:18):
sins, opportunity to grab holdof today what maybe we didn't
grab hold of yesterday.
So, god, we thank you foreverything and every opportunity
that you have afforded us.
We thank you for thisopportunity to share the word of
the Lord, god.
We pray in the name of Jesus, that, god, you would touch us,
annoy us afresh for this.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Assignment Hallelujah .

Speaker 2 (05:41):
For this session God.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Yes, yes.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
In the name of Jesus Christ that we will say God,
what needs to be said.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Hallelujah, get some water.
Woman of God, yeah, the devilcan't stop me.
I'll pick up right now.
I'm about to shut, take eight.
I'll go in for you, father, inJesus' name.
We thank you so much for what'sgoing to happen, for lives
changed and for the word that'sgoing to come forth in Ramah
right now.
In the name of Jesus, angela,go right ahead and pick up
prayer.
Oh, God.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
We thank you for the transformation, God, we thank
you for the renewal.
God, we thank you for the God,for the rewards that are going
to be received.
In the name of Jesus, Thank you, God, that your word is about
to drop in good ground.
Hallelujah, yes.
And we thank you, God, thatyour people will be edified.
Oh God and then, god, you willbe glorified.
God and the devil shallcontinually be horrified in the

(06:29):
name of Jesus.
So, god, we thank you that youare about to have your way, that
you're about to move.
God, I feel like I heard theSpirit of the Lord say there are
mountains that are about to bemoved.
I thank you, god, that thingsare being shifted in the
spiritual Ramo.
God, and we give your name theglory.
Now, god, do what you do,hallelujah.
We submit to your will, wesubmit to your way.

(06:50):
Have your way, o great God,that you are in the mighty name
of Jesus.
We say thank you, god, and wesay amen, amen, amen, amen.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Amen.
Thank you so much, pastor, awoman of God, and let me set the
devil on notice.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Let me set the under on notice.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Let me set hell on notice.
Guess what?
Satan, hell and underworld.
We are not afraid of you.
Come on somebody.
You don't intimidate nobodyhere.
You don't scare anybody here.
Well, we operate under the nameof Jesus and under the blood of
the anointed one, the Messiah.
The anointed one and hisanointing, the one that Gabriel

(07:32):
told Mary that she wasimpregnated with and when she
said his name would be Emmanuel, god with us Hallelujah,
hallelujah, hallelujah.
I'm trying not to go into why Igo now.
Hallelujah, I'm a child of Godand I would never I would never,

(07:56):
never, ever ever, ever ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever
ever.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Hallelujah, glory to God.
I got so much running throughme right now.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Hallelujah, come on, we're okay.
So we're going to try to keepthis podcast for y'all.
We apologize, but we don't, butthat devil tried to come in
here for just a minute.
So we had to go ahead and dealwith that and let him know.
You don't intimidate nobodyhere.
Okay, All right, so Pastor.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
I was thinking about this topic, this topic of
navigating uncertainty.
I was not.
I had no idea I was going tochoke, yeah, and just being able
to navigate things like that,right.
So what happened?
I'm going to keep going Right.
But then it's good.
When you got help, come onsomebody Hallelujah.
When you are connected tosomeone who doesn't mind

(08:44):
stepping in, come on whensomething's shaking with you.
Glory be to God.
Come on so see what the devilmeant for bad.
I see how God makes it good, because he showed us, he just
gave us a great example of howto navigate uncertainty, and one
thing is making sure thatyou're partnered up with the
right people.
Come on.
Making sure that you'reconnected with the right

(09:04):
believers.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Come on Glory be to God, come on.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Somebody who will step in and fight the devil on
your behalf, why you're choked.
Come on.
Come on, get yourself together, man, that's good, that's a word
.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Oh my God, when bills got you choked.
Come on when life gets you.
Come on when the enemy usesdevices.
Yeah, a dark strategy in yourfinances.
That's good when you have morebills than you have money.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Because we all have bills, but what happens is
oftentimes, with fees going up,with extra things at the school
can put on a parent's, on afamily for to get the child
everything they need in school.
With, with taxes going up, withprices going up in the grocery
store, with with certain withjob laws, the enemy can work a
dark strategy against youfinancially.

(09:51):
That calls you to be choked inyour finances.
Yes, yes, and so I just wantedto make sure I added clarity
when I talked about being chokedin your finances and not just
make it just a cliche a churchcliche that I throw out there.
I wanted to give some some solidcontext to that so a person can
understand what it means tokind of get choked in your
finances not poor stewardship, but to actually get choked up.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Hallelujah.
And when you choked up, youneed to be yoked up.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
That's what the woman of God was saying.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
It's good to be yoked up before you get choked up and
I want to talk to people.
Let's build on this, becausewe're talking about daily bread
and I'm going to talk to peoplewho feel lonely, who feel alone
or who have a small circle ofreal friends.
Yeah, whereby you don't read, you don't really feel all that
connected with spiritual peoplelike that.
You may even have a church, butin your church home, what are

(10:42):
two things?
You have trust issues where youdon't really trust people, or
you don't see anybody that youfeel like you can trust to share
that you're choked up in yourfinances.
But let me tell you somethingwhen you're not, when you're not
yoked up to a physical person, come on somebody, but you're
choked up in your finances.
Don't you forget.
You yoked up with the HolySpirit.

(11:02):
Yeah, he is the paraclete Ilike that.
The paraclete means the one whocomes alongside of us and he
walks with us, though he livesin us.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, come on somebody.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
And so I think this is a good place to start.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Navigating uncertainty in the Holy Ghost.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Yeah, that's good, that's so good.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Navigating uncertainty with the help of the
Holy Spirit.
So it is an important for everybeliever to understand,
although we're living inuncertain times, your stability,
your emotional stability, yourmental stability, which the two
of those combined make yourpsychological stability Watch

(11:43):
this, your word life stabilitywhich comes out of your heart,
stability, all of that can bebalanced out, it can be leveled
out and made healthy throughbeing yoked up with the Holy
Ghost, in an intimaterelationship with him, as he
speaks to you, guides you, nudges you and comforts, because

(12:06):
the Bible says the Holy Ghostcome and give us, comfort you,
in the midst of that uncertainty.
Pastor, help me break down herethe purpose of the Holy Ghost,
the works of the Holy Ghost andhow you experience the Holy
Ghost in helping you on anavigate uncertainty.

(12:27):
Let's talk about thatAbsolutely.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
You know, as soon as you said it, you know I was, my
first thought was life shouldnot be lived without reliance on
the Holy.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Spirit, holy Spirit, come on, come on.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
It should not, and so , especially when we are trying
to navigate uncertain timesbecause we are definitely living
in uncertain times it is goodto lean in.
That's what I like to say it'sgood to lean in as well as to
lean on the guidance of the HolySpirit.
So Jesus said that when he wassharing with the disciples that

(13:02):
he was leaving he said, I willsend one other, in other words
in my place, and he will giveyou comfort.
So we understand that the HolySpirit is a comforter.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
He's a comforter.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
He is the one that will be with you and never leave
you, and the Bible even talksabout God will never leave us,
nor forsake us.
And the Holy Spirit is thethird person of the Trinity, so
she is yet another form of God.
He is with us through thelonely times, the tough times,
the scary times, the happy times.
He's a forever present.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Help.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Come on, I hope not only in the times of trouble,
but he's always present, so heis our comforter.
And when I think about the HolySpirit, we think about when
Paul laid his hands on Timothyand told him to stir up the gift
.
I love that Stir up the giftbecause he and I'm gonna go.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
I'm gonna go there.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Because sometimes we want to ask God to stir up the
gift and that's not the orderthat it goes.
He's like I've given you thegift.
It is your responsibility toactivate the gift.
So the Holy Spirit is, in fact, the gift.
The gift is out of the HolySpirit that the gifts that we
use in the body to build up thekingdom are are are distributed

(14:23):
from.
It is from the gift of the HolyGhost right that the spiritual
gifts come right and so that ishow he is expressed.
It is through the gifts.
When we speak in tongues, weare expressing the Holy Ghost
right activation of the HolyGhost.
When we're laying on our hands, when we have that gift, it is
an expression of the Holy Ghost.
I feel the Holy Ghost right nowworking on the inside of us.

(14:46):
I have a gift to teach and Ifeel like I'm in my teaching
gift right now, and so I feelthe presence of activation of
the Holy Ghost happening, and sothat is how he is demonstrated.
It is through the activation ofthe gift that the birth out of
the Holy Ghost Wow, how do Ithen it's the third part of your

(15:07):
question how do I depend on orI think that was the question on
the Holy Spirit?
I'm listening, I'm quiet.
I'm trying to make sure that myvoice is not louder than his
voice.
Glory to God.
I'm trying to make sure that myway is not louder than the way
that he is directing me.
The Bible talks about the HolySpirit being the one who will

(15:30):
approve us, who will affirm us.
He is the one that will correctus when we're out of order, and
so when we learn how to bequiet enough and have an
intimate enough relationshipwith God, we can be more
comfortable with leaning intothe Holy Spirit as opposed to
depending on our own strength, because it is not based on our

(15:53):
strength, but it is the strengththat comes from the Holy Ghost,
my God, because the Bible eventalks about when I'm weak.
That's when his strength ismade perfect.
It comes through the Holy Ghost.
You know what I'm saying.
I have God in me to draw on.
All I have to do is be willingto draw on him.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
My.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
God, and that is leaning in to the Holy Ghost
when I draw on that which Godhas placed on the inside of me
and his name is Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Oh, my God Lean in.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I feel like I need to tell somebody that?

Speaker 1 (16:33):
That almost feels like a preach.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Come on, lean in, we have to learn how to lean in,
lean in.
What is the Holy Spirit sayingto me today?
What is the Holy Spirit wantingme to do today?
What?
Is the Holy Spirit, trying toget my attention to what to do.
What is the Holy Spirit?
Holy Spirit, what are we doingtoday?
Come on.
What are we doing today?
Hallelujah, I may have anagenda, but Holy Spirit, what

(16:55):
you say?
Yes, hallelujah, holy Spirit.
Does that look like a good idearight there?
Is that what we're doing today?
We have to learn how to lean into the power, because the Holy
Spirit is the power of Godliving on the inside of us.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Right.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
That in and of itself , husband is amazing, come on,
that there is a portion of Godthat lives on the inside of me.
Okay, jesus, okay.
Jesus, hallelujah, let me Ididn't want from podcast to
preach.
I feel like a whole sermon.
I think that okay, come on.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
But that's why I love the anointing on your life and
the power behind it and theenergy that you bring, and so I
want to let's frame this, whatyou've said.
Let's take this powerful wordof importation that you've given
and frame it into a constructso that we can make sure that it
settles in people.
So there are four particularthings I heard while you were

(17:52):
talking, and then we're going tolook at some scripture and some
other stuff to back everythingup that you're saying.
Four particular things that Iheard.
The first one wassanctification.
So I'm going to give all fourand then we'll come back to them
.
I heard sanctification, I heardactivation, I heard
manifestation and then I heardparticipation.

(18:14):
I love it when you was talkingabout lean in Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
So let's go back.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
When you talked about how the Holy Ghost lives on the
inside of us, you were thentalking about to me,
sanctification, because we havein the Trinity Father, son and
Holy Ghost.
But there are three in one Godthe Father in creation, god the
Son in redemption, god the HolySpirit.
In sanctification slashregeneration, because he regains

(18:41):
us, because we're born againand made a spiritual being into
the kingdom of God.
So it's genes, he's regi, he'srednaing us to be children of
the Most High God.
And so when we are saying it'sthe Holy Spirit's job to come
into us when we're saved, hethen comes into us by the Spirit
and he dwells inside of us andit's His job to sanctify us, to

(19:03):
change us from our old ways toour new ways.
And it is a process and ittakes time, it is a form of
deliverance, but it is His jobto be.
That's why Jesus said he is theteacher and he is the God,
because he teaches us a kingdomway of living.
He guides us into a Holy Ghostfield God way of thinking and a

(19:23):
God, holy Ghost way of doingthings.
So he comes in and he takes outour old appetites, old desires
and old emotions through theprocess of learning and growing
in His Word, when our mind isbeing renewed, the Holy Ghost is
taking what we're learning andhe's embedded and seeding it
into our soul.
So we start acting differentlythan we used to.
And he sanctifying us day byday, though my outward man

(19:45):
Parrish my inward man, the Biblesays, is being made new day by
day.
So sanctifying because he dwellson the inside.
So God will make you who hecalled you to be.
He's going to bring you intowho he called you to be.
He's going to bring you in thedestiny and purpose because the
Holy Ghost is on the inside, sanctifying Hallelujah.
And so he's in there.
He's leading and guiding andcomforting.

(20:06):
That comfort part is importantbecause you could be changing my
mind, but if I ain't got nopeace in the process, why you
changing me?
And I'm still, I'm stillworried that I don't transform
completely into who you desireme to be.
So, as he's doing the surgery,he's giving you the anesthesia
at the same time, through thepeace and the comfort.
Come on in here.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
The doctor might work on you, but he going to give
you some anesthetic to calm youdown while I'm at it.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
OK, I ain't going to end, go there, but anyway,
sanctification.
Then I heard activation, because you said it is the Holy
Spirit that gives you the giftsand then he activates
discernment, he activateshealing, he activates faith, he
activates service, he activatesthe gift of administration, he
activates love.
They are His gifts and heactivates them when he chooses

(20:53):
and when he pleases on theinside of you.
And then when he activates themand you're willing, then you
come into manifestation, becauseit's one thing for them to be
active inside of you, but forthem to manifest, it is the
manifestation of them that wesee in our lives.
And you talked about the actionof the Holy Ghost, this, and
action of the Holy Ghost thatand being quiet.
That moves you intoparticipation.

(21:16):
You have to participate in arelationship with the Holy
Spirit, absolutely AcknowledgeHim, absolutely Accept that he's
there, believe that he's real.
That's it.
Understand.
I ain't got to see Him to knowthat he's real, he's inside of
me.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
That's right, that's right.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
I don't have to figure it all out.
I don't have to be sointellectually astute to search
out reason and logic that Idon't have faith enough to
believe that God is on theinside of me working a miracle.
I'd rather believe for healingand get it than to not believe
and stay sick.
Talk to me somebody I knowthat's right.
Ok, I got to get out of there, that's real but.
I heard those four things and Iwanted to come back and deal

(21:49):
with them and give a constructand a context to what you say.
I'm going to let you jump inbecause I don't want to hold
your tongue.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Oh no, You're good.
All of that is good.
There's so much that I wasthinking about when you were
talking, but all good.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
So for someone who may need just the basic
understanding of what thescripture talked about with the
Holy Spirit and how he is withus.
If you remember, in Mark I'mjust going to use Mark, chapter
one, verse eight, as a referenceto the Holy Spirit being with
us, but this text is in other ofthe synoptic gospels, but in

(22:25):
Mark, chapter one, verse eight, john the Baptist said this.
He said I indeed baptize youwith water.
So he is bringing, he isreminding the Jewish people and
all who come that water baptismis important.
He said now I'm baptizing youin this water, in this Jordan.
I'm taking you down, immersingyou, and I'm bringing you back

(22:47):
out and I'm taking you throughwater baptism.
And the church understands that.
He says, but he with a capitaleight, talking about the Messiah
that everybody was expecting tocome and they knew that this
Messiah was prophesied to be theSon of God, to be the Christ.
John the Baptist was saying thattime is coming now and he's
coming, but he's coming to usherus into a different kind of

(23:08):
kingdom, into the kingdom of God, a new kingdom, not the kingdom
that's in this world.
In this world's kingdom we getbaptized in water, but in the
spirit kingdom, in God's kingdom, in the kingdom of God.
He said he will baptize youwith the Holy Spirit.
Now let's look at that Waterbaptism means to be immersed for

(23:29):
a body down into water and comeback up.
You know, symbolically of beingcleansed of our sin.
But if Jesus is gonna baptizeus with the Holy Spirit, that
means he's the only one thatcould fully immerse us.
Come on, hallelujah.
The Holy Spirit ain't no littleitty bitty thing like a drop of

(23:49):
water.
The Holy Spirit is I'm notpresent like God, and it is
everywhere at the same time.
But see, you have to acceptJesus before the realm.
The kingdom realm surrounds youand you are implanted and
embedded into the kingdom realm.
It's a spiritual thing.
So he says I'm gonna baptizeyou in the spirit.
Is what Jesus is gonna do,hallelujah.

(24:12):
So he fully immerses us intothe spirit and we come up.
If you will a new creation, aspiritual being.
That's how we're born again,absolutely.
In some circles of the church wesay we are born through the
womb of the spirit.
So if you see like a woman'swomb and a child comes out of
that woman's womb and thatcreation is alive, it's just

(24:33):
like being born again of theHoly Ghost.
You come out of the womb of thespirit and now you are a
different being.
You are a new creation becauseyou are a living, breathing,
spiritual child of God.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Absolutely, when you said you talked about being.
Immersed, immersed, thank you,Immersed by Jesus, right Right.
Is that what you said?

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Right the death bearing resurrection.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
Okay, so I thought about, and you talked about, of
course, how the Holy Spirit is,not this small portion, it's
being he's the only one thatcould fully immerse us right,
and he's all knowing that hit mereal good.
He's all knowing, now that's soimportant because we're talking
about navigating uncertainty.
Now look at what God has done.

(25:24):
Come on Through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus
Christ.
Come on, because he sends thispower.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Come on his spirit.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Yes, come on.
That lives on the inside.
That is all knowing.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
So when I'm navigating, oh, this is so good
to be in.
Lord, help me to say this likeI need to yeah, it is amazing
that when I don't know that I'vebeen yoked up, come on, like
you talked about.
Come on With someone who doesknow, come on.
Oh that Come on, so importantso this is why it is important

(26:08):
for us and that's why we'retalking about it, because it's
important for us to understandthat being in a relationship
with the Holy Spirit will helpto navigate the uncertain times,
because he's going to tell usthings that we know not of Come
on.
He's going to share things withus that we don't even know.
That's coming.
He's going to warn us ofdangers If we do this.

(26:30):
This is on the rise, Come on.
So don't go that way.
Go this way.
He is the one who knowseverything.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Everything.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
So when I'm navigating, uncertainties ie the
things I do not know- thethings I don't understand.
I need someone on my team andon my side, as a matter of fact,
instead of team.
I'm on his team, but I needsomebody that's on my side who
knows everything.
Come on, Isn't that good?

(26:58):
Oh, that's Just this practical, beautiful nugget.
Why wouldn't I Take the expertof all expert?
Wow with me Wow.
On my journey of Navigatingaway, I have never taken.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Come on, jesus, my God on navigating a way that has
taken me come on that part.
Because, because we don'talways find purpose, sometimes
purpose finds us so real, comeon, we don't always find a
spouse.
Sometimes a spouse finds us.
We don't always find anopportunity.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Sometime opportunity find us and we need to know when
it's ours.
We need to know.
We need to know you guys.
No, you Don't know.
I keep saying, I keep seeingfeet.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Yeah, okay, yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
I see somebody walking.
I can only see from the waistdown.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
Yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
I see a path.
Yeah and what keeps going offin my spirit.
Yeah is how the word of Godyeah is a lamp unto my feet come
on and a light unto my path, that did it.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
That was a, that was a word picture, that what they
call it.
I think so, when you know, Ithink when a picture gives you,
you can see the picture and get,and get the context and get the
Comprehension comprehend betterabout this picture and you got
it to go along with the wordsthat are being explained to you.
You.
God, the Holy Spirit just gaveyou what I was thinking, but he

(28:42):
helped you put it in a reallysimplistic format.
I was thinking about the wordNavigating because I titled
navigating uncertainty.
Navigating is basicallydirection.
It's direction.
Yeah, a pilot Navigates theplane, if you will, because he
has the London, london longitude, latitude or the aerial Specs

(29:03):
to know which way to go andwhere to turn.
And then you know, a captain ofa ship never a ship Navigates
that ship in longitude andlatitude in a certain direction.
Yeah, so we're talking about, you know, having direction.
Okay, for uncertainty,navigating answer.
So we're talking aboutdecisions.
Yeah you know.
So we're talking aboutDecisions for direction, yeah,

(29:27):
making decisions For everydirection you're trying to go in
life.
Yeah whether it is a familydirection, whether it is a
health direction, whether it isdirection in choosing a
therapist or counselor, psychot, what is direction in?
You know, how do I dress inthis culture?
Whether it's direction for andpeople don't understand that God

(29:50):
is in the little things too.
You know, come on, somebody.
You know, I need direction forcareer, I need direction for my
son.
My, I need direction for collegeor school, so we're talking
about God is talking abouthaving the Holy Spirit with you.
Yeah, have me, holy ghost, tosay this the way I want to say
this Having the Holy Ghost beingyoked up, mm-hmm, so you don't

(30:13):
get choked up with the HolySpirit, whom Jesus said is the
revealer of truth.
That part right there yeah heis the teacher of all things,
yeah, and he shall lead you andguide you, yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
So when you need directions for decision man,
there's no better person to helpyou with all of it, no one them
the Holy Spirit, absolutely, because he is who you are yoked
up with, absolutely, so youdon't get choked up, hallelujah,
in any area of your life, andwhen you do, he help you get out
of absolutely, come onabsolutely, and I you know, and
I think what's important for usto know and for the listeners to

(30:50):
know is that when you Learn, orwhen you begin, or as you
continue, wherever you are onthe spectrum, to lean in or lean
in more with the Holy Spirit, you have to remember that your
way of doing it or yourintellectual capabilities Cannot

(31:12):
reign Above the way of the HolySpirit right.
Because sometimes I think that'swhere we get.
We get messed up right.
Because we want the things thatthe Holy Spirit reveals,
teaches, or the way in which heleads us to make sense.
Right.
But when we think aboutscripture, yeah when God says my

(31:37):
ways are not yours and mythoughts are higher, that is a
clear indication that God,basically, is helping us to
understand.
There are gonna feel the HolyGhost.
They're going to be some thingsthat I say to you.
You ain't gonna get itimmediately right.
They're gonna be some ways thatI tell you to take that what
makes sense to you over to God,right.

(31:58):
But when we think aboutRelationship, right, which, as
we're talking about the power ofthe Holy Spirit, of being yoked
up with the Holy Spirit, wehave to be in relationship with
God.
Yeah because otherwise we willallow our ways yeah, to get in
the way of his way, yeah, andthen get upset when it doesn't

(32:18):
go right, yeah.
So we have to remember as we'releaning in, we have to remember
Don't let you get in the way ofwhat the Holy Spirit has said.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Yeah, if you are the type of person that that you do
not have a regular and growingprocess of listening to God
first over your own thoughts, choosing the word over your own
thoughts, that's gonna be a hardpattern to adopt.
It's gonna be hard to breaklistening to you if you don't

(32:52):
start practicing now.
If you don't start practicingnow and growing in your trust in
God, growing in your beliefthat he has all wisdom and all
knowledge and he cares aboutyour outcomes, all of them.
Whatever you care about, Godcares about more.
He does.
Oh my God.
There's no way you can careabout something and God not even

(33:15):
care at all about what you careabout.
That's why Jesus said cast allyour cares on me, for I care for
you.
So he said, I am equally yokedup with your cares, but because
I love you more than you loveyourself.
That's real.
I care about what you careabout, and even more than you
care about it.
So because it's important toyou, it's important to him, and

(33:36):
somebody needs to know that.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
That's so good.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
Because oftentimes the devil will make us think God
didn't care about the thingsthat's important to us, because
they're not changing at the pacewhich we want them to change.
And when they change, they'renot changing in the measure in
which we want them to change orin the direction that we want
them to.
But that doesn't mean themeasure, the direction is not
that which is best for us, andGod knows that.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Absolutely, and I was thinking when you were talking,
something that is so importantto do.
If you're learning, if you'rejust learning to hear from the
Holy Spirit and you're still inthat in-between place, was that
me?
Was that God?
Was that the enemy?
Surround yourself with Godlypeople.
Make sure that you surroundyourself with people who have

(34:22):
Godly wisdom.
That is so important so thatthey can help you in your
hearing and give you words ofwisdom, absolutely.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
The moment you say that, and what I heard was and
this can come to other people orfrom God himself what I heard
was keep listening.
When you can't get that answer, keep listening.
That is so real.
Yes, that listening can come toother people.
Absolutely the listening cancome to a sermon that you hear.
Absolutely the listening cancome to the Holy Spirit when you

(34:54):
read the Word.
Absolutely the listening cancome to any measure that God
wants to send the Word through.
That's right.
Come on somebody.
Yeah, come on somebody.
The Pharisees told Jesus whenhe was coming into Jerusalem,
when the people on Palm Sunday, when people laid down palms and
their coats and they were cryingout Hosanna, hosanna, and they

(35:15):
tried to get the people to quietdown, the Pharisees, jesus says
if these people don't cry out, then these rocks, rocks will.
That's right, these inanimateobjects, these pieces of stone
that don't have a soul or amouth, will begin to cry out.
Begin come on somebody to speakmy glory.
So God will use anyone andanything to speak glory over

(35:39):
your life and direction for yourlife.
Come on somebody.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
Absolutely, and that's why it's important for us
not to put God in a box.
That's right.
Not to put limits on God, andthe reality is as we live and
grow and develop.
The reality is is we'relearning more and more and more
about the God that we serve.
Oh, my God so we have to be somindful.
Don't put God in a box.

(36:03):
God ain't going to do this, godis going to do that.
God will switch up some stuffon you and blow your mind.
You know what I mean.
And so we have to be veryflexible in our relationship
with God, because God doesn'talways and I'm going to use this
just kind of whatever, I can'tthink of the word right now but

(36:25):
he doesn't always color in thebox Come on he doesn't color.
God doesn't stay in the linesbecause he didn't draw the lines
.
Come on somebody, Come onsomebody, and so he will color
outside of the box and you willbegin to think that the picture
is messed up.
Come on somebody and God islike no, it looks exactly how I
intend for it to look becausethe vision I have is not the

(36:47):
vision you have.
Glory to God.
So we got it.
Oh, I felt the Holy Ghost youhave.
We have to learn how to beflexible.
Oh, he coloring outside the box.
Oh, ok, so that means that.
Oh, this picture started outlooking like a house.
Oh, now it's a boat.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
Come on.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Because he colored outside the line.
Come on and we just have to bewilling to be flexible and move
how he says move, and the HolySpirit helps us to be able to do
just that.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Yes, absolutely.
That was a wonderful pass.
Thank you so much.
So there's another passage ofscripture that is very
foundational for what we'retalking about here, and it's in
Luke 12 and 12.
And you were talking about theHoly Spirit cares about the
little things.
He's the revealer, he's theteacher, and that he's so with

(37:37):
us to give us direction right indecisions that.
Look at what Luke 12 and 12says.
Luke 12 and 12 says this and Iremember the context of this
passage of scripture Jesus wastalking to his disciples about
not fearing and going forth andsending them out, and he said
this.
He said for the Holy Spirit, listen now we'll teach you in

(38:03):
that very hour what you ought tosay.
So he was saying don't worryabout what to say when you come
before the magistrates.
He was telling his disciplesyou're going to be taken in
front of magistrates.
You're going to be brought infront of people.
What you say going to be calledon the carpet.
People are going to questionwhat you say.
People are going to challengeyou on what you say.

(38:23):
There are going to be timeswhen you're going to probably
could have some concern aboutwhat you're going to say.
So you need direction aboutwhat to say in a job interview
direction about what to say to aperson you're trying to be in a
relationship with, or men in arelationship with.
What to say to your childrenabout a certain thing.
What to say to yourself?
Oh, come on Holy.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
Ghost.
That was powerful right there.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
What to say to yourself.
Look at what this verse says.
Jesus told him don't even worryabout it.
What to say?
Watch this, the Holy Spirit.
It didn't say he just gonnagive you what to say.
He said he's gonna teach youit's powerful, in that very hour
what it is to say.
So, the Holy Ghost, don't justcome to give us a.
Give us a fish to eat for a day.

(39:07):
You know that old saying give aman a fish and eat for a day.
He comes to teach us how tofish right, so that we can eat
all of our days.
So in the moment that the HolyGhost is giving you what to say,
you must understand he istaking your mind and heart
through an experiment.
He doesn't just tell you whatto say, but some kind of way

(39:28):
your mind comes into thecomprehension that it is the
best thing to say.
You know you're getting readyto say it, but at the same time
you start seeing oh, okay, I see.
Why are you see the effect of?
Why he had you to say what yousaid?
So he's a teacher.
So he's not coming to just giveyou something, he's coming to
make you somebody.
Oh, that's good cuz, that's real, absolutely how do you teach

(39:52):
somebody in that same hour whatto say?
Let's you be God enough toconsume the mind and heart all
at the same.
That's it.
I teach you in a millisecondwhat to say to this person
that's asking you something.
Hallelujah.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
You, even when you look at the scenario that's
happening here.
In Luke 12, he said you'regonna need to defend you gonna
you're gonna think you need todefend yourself, but I'm gonna
teach you see that, don't evengo together, come on.
There are times if I, if I needto defend myself, already know
I know what I'm gonna say, because I know what the truth is
.
You know I'm saying I don'tneed.

(40:25):
This is not a teacher moment, right?
When you think about, when youthink about having to look at
the context, don't worry.
He says don't worry about howyou're going to defend yourself,
because you're being brought in, because Somebody has said
something about something.
Right?
When we need to defendourselves, we know what to say,
because we know what the lie is.

(40:46):
Yeah but in that moment, andthis is why we have to be
flexible.
Yeah because in a moment I feellike I'm I need to defend
myself, right, I'm not reallylooking to be taught right but
the.
Holy Spirit says but you needto be taught.
You know what I'm saying andthat is what's so beautiful
about God is these moments whenyou, when you can pause enough.

(41:07):
Right to say Holy Spirit.
What are we doing Right?
What do we do in this moment?
What do we saying in this?
That is beautiful, that'sbeautiful because he's not only
is he gonna give you and youjust said it what to say, right,
he's teaching you at the sametime right.
Because you think about that.
I do need to be taught.
If you, if you finna, tell methis is a teaching moment, when

(41:30):
I thought this was a fightingmoment See, that's powerful,
that's that is powerful.
Oh my god, I thought I neededto fight right here.
Wait but you're telling me Ineed to be a student.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
You know what you remind me In the garden, when,
when the Roman soldiers and thePharisees and the people guards,
yeah, came to get Jesus when hewas betrayed by Judas.
Yes, and Peter said I got this,I got it.
He pulled that knife out of hissheaf.
He's, don't worry, yes, don'tworry, gee, I got you, I got you

(42:02):
, big boss.
He, great, great, I swear, tocut that soldier ear right off
his head, right, right, defending, defending the ear,
hit the dirt, hit the ground.
Man done, grab his head fallingon the ground.
Jesus done, stopped everythingin slow mo.
Slammer told Peter wait aminute, put that sword down.
Teaching moment in that moment.
That's in that moment he taughtyou put the sword away, exactly

(42:26):
because he who lives by thattype of defending himself, who?
He who lived by that sword man,is gonna die by that same man.
But but now look at that fromthe other side.
In other words, what he wasn'tsaying was, or what he was
implying was this but he wholives by these teachers, I shall

(42:46):
live by these teachings, oh mygod, come on somebody
Implication, because that'sbeautiful.
The sword was the law.
That's right.
I for an eye, yeah.
So when Peter drew that sword,he was practicing the law
absolute.
Jesus gave him a word which wasprepped.
The word is grace.
So Jesus was saying the lawleads to death, but grace leads

(43:07):
to eternal life.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
Come on somebody after they receive all of this
that we're giving you in themighty, yeah mighty, name of
Jesus, our lord and say come onsomebody that's beautiful and
you know, and now I will say now, in my opinion, that speaks to
Again why it's important to leanin, hear from, be led by the
holy spirit, because there will, there may be situations that

(43:30):
show up and you feel like you'resupposed to fight.
Yeah and the lord is saying, no, I need you to be a student
right now.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (43:37):
You understand what I'm saying.
When times are uncertain, sometimes we go back to what we
used to do, right, oh, I feelthe holy ghost, right.
But when God is in control, yeah, when we allow Jesus to
really be lord of our life.
Yeah and we allow the holyspirit to really be the teacher,
really be the God, really bethe one that's going to show us

(43:58):
the way, we'll find out that ourold ways won't work in a new
season.

Speaker 1 (44:02):
Yeah.
Glory to God that's so good howwe used to do.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Things don't work in a season right now.
Right because God and you saidit, because the holy spirit is
making us into right somethingelse.
We can't see it.
That's why it's uncertain.
So many things are uncertainbecause we can't see it.
But once we are led, or putourselves in a position where we
are led by the holy spirit, andwe're.

(44:27):
We're.
We're striving really hard anddiligently.
Let me say what he says, because I really don't know
what's next.
Let me do what he says do,because I don't really know who
he's making me to be.
Glory to God, let me.
Let me let the word be my Godand not my, my worry or not my,
my, my anxiety or not myfrustration.

(44:47):
Like, let me not do what I didin the last season, because I'm
in this new place and a lot oftimes that's why it's so
uncertain, because it's a placeI've not been or a place I've
been thrusted into that have notexperienced before, and it's so
important, so so Important, ifI really want to be who God says
I am, if I really want tobecome, evolve, develop and all

(45:09):
of the things According to whatI believe God has in store for
me.
Yeah, I have got To listen tothe holy spirit Wow.
I just I got to say this againbecause what I did in my last
season Won't work in my newseason.
New season.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
Wow, oh my god.
And so we're running out oftime, but we're not running out
of word here.
We wish we could stay with youlonger, but I want to wrap up.
Let's take three minutes.
We're actually probably about afew minutes over what we keep
our podcast.
But I want to say this becauseI want to bring two more
scriptures.
I think it's gonna bring thisall the way home because we
brought, we took the.
We brought them from the Jordanbeing baptized and Jesus coming

(45:47):
to baptize you in the spirit.
We talked about who the spiritis, being the comfort under
revealer to goddess anddirectors, but I want just
people see how you get this holyspirit and I want to show you
how he colors outside the linesAmen, right.
So the first one is in Luke, chapter one, verse 67, and I
want you to check this out, pastor and Angela.
It says now, his father, zacharias, was filled with the

(46:09):
holy spirit and prophesied, saying Okay, and I brought that
out because I wanted somebody tosee first of all that here is
Zacharias Before the we get tothe book of acts.
Here is Zacharias being filledwith the holy spirit.
Before the holy spirit camedown on the apostles when they

(46:31):
were in the upper room in thebook of acts.
See, because I want people tounderstand that the holy spirit
is not, is not even contained tochurch culture.
The holy spirit ain't evencontained to church tradition
and church treating, because alot of people say the holy
spirit hadn't come yet until hecame in acts and came and fell

(46:52):
on the apostles.
Well, he fell on the apostlesthat they would have power to go
out and be Jesus's witnesses.
He said after the holy ghostcome upon you, then you're gonna
have power to be my witnesses.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
But the holy ghost was already filling people,
that's right because he feelsZacharias in the book of Luke
chapter one and verse 60 and hebegan.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
His father, zacharias , was filled with the holy
spirit and prophesied.
And begin the prophesied.
We want to ask Can you readverse 68 there?

Speaker 2 (47:16):
absolute Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
because he has come to hispeople and redeemed them Come on
.

Speaker 1 (47:24):
So the holy spirit came inside of Zacharias, filled
him with the holy spirit, withhis presence.

Speaker 2 (47:30):
So Zacharias can prophesy about Jesus being the
Messiah.
Yes, sir.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
Right now I'm gonna take y'all to acts, chapter two,
to one, the scripture we allknow absolutely.
When the holy ghost fell on theapostles, I just wanted you to
see that he filled.
Come on, he fell in acts, chapter two, but he filled in
Luke 167.
Come on somebody, it says.
And they were all filled withthe holy ghost and began to
speak with other tongues as thespirit gave them utterance.

Speaker 2 (47:58):
That's verse two.
Verse verse four, verse fouracts, chapter two, verse four.

Speaker 1 (48:02):
So people may be thinking that, okay, I heard
what y'all saying about thisholy ghost, but I want y'all to
see that he has come for us allAbsolutely, and he continued.
Every time a believer is bornagain, the holy spirit comes in
them to fill them with power tobe sanctified, to be renewed, to
become God's witnesses and tohave power for the manifestation

(48:23):
of the gifts and for thedrawing and the purposes into
the kingdom of God.
So you don't have to feel like,well, I don't, I don't know if
I have the whole spirit or if Ican have the holy spirit, or how
do I get the whole spirit tohelp?

Speaker 2 (48:41):
Close us out.
Look here.
I was just going to say ifyou've accepted Jesus Christ as
your Lord and Savior, you havethe Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
You have the Holy.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
Spirit.
You have the Holy Spirit, amen, wow, and I just don't know any
other way to live except withthe Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1 (48:59):
I love that and she means that y'all, I mean it.
Let me tell y'all, woo man, sometimes I'm trying to make
what I think are simpledecisions for the family, for
the direction, for the business, for the mission.
And I'm like, baby, okay, let'scheck this out.
And da da, da, da, da, and Ilay down my thought and the
vision, I lay out the strategy.
It makes sense, it's doable.
She just quiet, won't say aword.

(49:20):
I'm like, hey, did you hear metalking?
She, I know I'm pondering andI'm listening for the Holy Ghost
.
Oh my God.
So she means it.
Believe me, I'm telling you,I'm telling you Okay.
We hope you all have enjoyedpart three of Navigate
