Are you ready to unlock the secrets to a winning mindset, one that not only endures but thrives through life's trials? My wife Angela and I are thrilled to guide you through the profound impact that perspective and divine wisdom can have on your life's journey. In today's episode, we delve into the biblical principles that underpin a mindset of victory, exploring how the active application of God's Word can revolutionize not only your personal well-being and mental health but your overall success as well.

Witness the transformation that comes from embracing your identity in Christ and understanding the crucial difference between a victim and a victor's outlook. Our conversation traverses the landscape of our thoughts, showing how they sculpt our reality and influence every aspect of our lives. I challenge you, our beloved listeners, to commit to the biblical truths we share, promising that the power of the Word is magnified when you put it into practice. Let's together affirm that we are "more than conquerors," destined to rise above every obstacle.

In the culminating part of our series, we hone in on the essence of a winning mindset through the servanthood that Christ exemplified. Exploring Philippians 2:5-11, we uncover how humility and obedience aren't just noble traits but critical components for achieving victory. We weave through the narratives of Daniel and Moses, whose servitude led to divine elevation, and leave you with the revelation that truly winning means fulfilling your God-given destiny with grace, even if it entails walking through sacrifice. Embrace the mindset of Christ as the cornerstone of triumph, and let us assist you in reshaping your reality.

(01:34):
preceded out of the mouth of God.
That's preaching right there.
That's right Proceed.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Every word that proceeds.
So there is a preceding wordfor your life Hallelujah.
You received the word in thelast season, but you need to

It's perceived that God alwayshas a word.

saying God's not speaking man.
Look here, if you listen wellenough, the Lord is speaking
because there's words proceedingout of his mouth.

Today we are moving into what Ithink is such a critical topic
because it flows right in linewith mental health.
Today, we are talking aboutpossessing a successful no,
possessing a winning mindset.
Possessing a winning mindset.
I believe this is going to be athree part series, I think

(03:04):
because it's so rich and deepand we're going to get ready to
dive in.
We won't do so without prayer.
Amen, we're past the angel offirst.
But, angel, you remember we gota tagline for Daily Bread, so
Daily Bread is about glory, impact, change.
Hallelujah, come on, let's haveprayer right now.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Father, god, we bless and thank you for the
opportunity to be here one moretime.
We thank you for every listener.
We thank you, lord, god, forevery person and this particular
broadcast will impact and touchGod.
We thank you in advance for thetransition, for the change
that's going to happen for thedevelopment, for the growth, for
the expansion, god, that youhave in store for your people,

(03:45):
and we give your name the gloryas always.
We ask, god, that you wouldanoint us afresh for this
particular assignment to saywhat needs to be said.
God, that your people will beblessed indeed in the mighty
name of Jesus.
Now, god, ultimately have yourway, leading God as by your
spirit, that everything that'ssupposed to be done, it shall be

(04:07):
done.
In the mighty name of Jesus.
We give you glory, we give youhonor, we give you praise.
It is in Jesus' name that wepray and say amen, amen, amen,
and I hope, those of you outthere that are listening, that
you say amen as a confession ofyour agreement with the prayer.
Amen, hallelujah.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Amen.
Thank you so much, Angel.
Amen.
All right, listen, listen.
I got so overwhelmed as youwere praying, just thinking
about this topic, and I want tomake sure that we understand
that.
Whomever listens to thisepisode, these episodes on this
topic, possessing a winningmindset, You're about to win in

(04:47):
every area in your life for therest of your life, the rest of
your life that is so real.
If you get these biblicalprinciples and this foundation
and you listen to all theepisodes of this teaching on
possessing a winning mindset, you will never lose again.
You will never lose again andif you are troubled in your mind
, you're about to come out ofthat and you're about to possess

(05:11):
this winning mindset, as it istaught, laid out and empowered
by the word of God.
Everything stems from the wayyou think.
All your actions come out ofyour thought, life, and we're
about to empower you in such away and I just hit me you will
never lose again.
So this is important that yoube sure to stick with us through

(05:31):
these three episodes, make sureyou listen, make sure you share
.
Your children's mindset isabout to change.
Your mindset is about to changepeople around you, because this
teaching has that much power init and it's that important that
you get it all Now.
You know, pastor, here's what Iwe are as society.
We are going through gravechallenges with mental health,

(05:53):
absolutely.
We are dealing with so muchchange and transition.
We are dealing with so muchattack and assault.
We are dealing with so muchaggression and division.
We are dealing with so muchuncertainty.
We are dealing with plagues,disease.
We're dealing with losingfamily members and friends.
We are dealing with peoplewearing masks and cloaked to be

(06:15):
friends and family when they'renot.
And it's so much going on.
And the enemy is attacking ourthought, life, amen, and he is
creating seeds of confusion thatis taking root in our decision
making process, that is drivingus to be unclear about almost
everything and it is driving usinto a place of darkness,

(06:36):
negativity, hopelessness, andwe're not winning in our
thinking.
We're not winning in ourthinking and the Bible.
If it wasn't important, theBible would never address it.
This is true Jesus, immediately, even in the Old Testament, god
made sure that he trained andtaught his people how to have a
winning mindset, a divinelyrooted mindset in his word and

(07:00):
in righteousness, that we wouldalways win, even though we may
be facing negativity andchallenges and issues, but that
winning my mindset will alwaysbring you out.
Now I know you're chomping atthe bit to say some things.
I want you to go ahead and saythose things and I'll read our
scripture foundation and we cango from there in these 30
minutes.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Well, you know immediately what came to me.
Before we started I had writtena comment down that I was going
to ask.
What was the question that Iwas going to ask?
But of course you know we'veprayed and said Lord, have your
way, and that's what he does.
So he interrupts maybe what youwere you thought you were going
to start saying with a newthought, because it's something

(07:40):
that he wants said you know whatI mean.
And so one of the things that Ifeel so compelled to say,
starting right out of the gate,is that we have got you as the
body of believers, as those youknow, newly converted Christians
, whatever level we're on We'vegot to, it is imperative that we

(08:06):
accept the truth that God lovesus and that, and the Holy
Spirit said to me it sounds sobasic, but it's so deep it has
so much depth because, in orderfor my mind to be in alignment

(08:28):
with the Word of God, if I don'tbelieve the word, it really
doesn't matter how muchscripture I know, have heard or
whatever, but it has to stemfrom my belief that God loves me
.
And I believe that the enemyuses a tactic to attack us in

(08:50):
our young age to cause us tostumble through believing the
word of God that says that Godloves us.
It is difficult for some peopleto jump the hurdle and keep that
hurdle jumped, that God reallydoes love me.
You know what I'm saying, because the way that I am going

(09:15):
to believe and even be able topossess a winning mindset, which
all stems from the word of God,I've got to believe that he
loves me, which goes torelationship, absolutely
Relationship.
Because if I don't believe thathe loves me, then why would I
believe what he said?

(09:36):
Right.
You know what I'm saying, See,it's my knowing that you love me
that causes me to trust youwhen you say I would give you
the world.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying and itdoesn't.
And I don't have to go, I don'thave to vacillate.
You know what I mean.
I don't have to go back andforth with that, because you've

(09:56):
shown me.
Not only did you tell me, butyou've shown me, and once you
show me, then I can't unknowthat Right, you understand what
I'm saying.
So then I believe you at yourword, and I believe that it is
so important for us as we'rethinking through how do I
possess it?
It has to stem from my knowingthat, in spite of what I've gone

(10:19):
through, I got to know Godloves me.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Right, yeah, I would agree with that.
You know Well, that goes to thescripture.
That talks about faith For sure.
The substance of things hopedfor the evidence of things.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Not seen, not seen.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
And it talks about how, in order to come to God, we
must first believe that he is,you know, in order to please him
, and that he is a rewarder ofthem that diligently seek after
him, absolutely so.
relationship is key and critical.
As you talk about possessing awinning mindset, because you're

(10:55):
identifying the principles andconcepts and practices of
getting to this winning mindsetthrough the word of God.
And how can you build throughthe word of God if you don't
have a relationship with God?
And if you do have arelationship with God, it is
unhealthy because you don'tbelieve that he loves you
because of the things you'vegone through Because,
realistically, if I don'tbelieve he loves me, then I

(11:16):
don't think I'll win.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
That's right, because I can watch this, because I can
be in a race and come last, andif I know he loves me and this
is so basic if I know he lovesme, I don't feel like a loser,
even though I came last.
You know what I'm saying.
I can instead find thepositives in the experience and
understand oh, this trained mefor my next race, oh, this

(11:38):
prepared me for my next run.
And I don't get stuck at.
I'm a loser.
I don't have the mindset of aloser, because God didn't create
me as a loser.
You know what I mean and all ofthat stems from understanding
beyond a shadow of a doubt thathe loves me.
So the enemy can throw anythingat me, but if my foundation

(12:02):
stems from the scripture, thateven causes us to be saved.
God so loved the world.
Understanding.
I'm in the number.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
I'm in the number.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
He had me on his mind before I even knew I needed,
before I was even created,before I even knew I needed a
savior.
He created a plan, and it stemsout of his love for me, that's
a problem.
You understand Okay go ahead.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
So I want to get to this founding scripture.
So our founding scripture is inProverbs 23 and 7.
And it says for as a manthinketh, we're talking about
possessing a winning mindset.
As a man thinketh in his heart,so is he.
And it says eat and drink, sayshe to the, but his heart is not

(12:54):
with the.
So the a portion of this istalking about how there is a
connection between our thoughtsand our actions.
And when I began to study youknow this whole concept of
possessing a winning mindset,you know I was.
I begin to look at the mentalaspects, the clinical aspect,

(13:16):
and we'll talk about all thatand how.
You know.
The way you think is tied toyour emotions, is tied to your
core values, is tied to yourdecision making.
Your thoughts are connected toeverything you do, is tied to
relationships.
So what is going well or notwell in your life is all tied to

(13:36):
your thinking.
What is going so successful istied to your thinking and what
is not going so successful istied to your thinking.
Your health is tied to yourthinking.
Relationships are tied to yourthinking.
Your business concepts are tiedto your thinking, how you treat
people, how you see God, andperspective is a big part of all

(13:56):
of this so, today we're reallygoing to deal with the biblical
foundation and principles for awinning mindset.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
We're going to look at the word of God and lay that
foundation.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
But in these next couple of sessions we're really
going to dive deep intoperspective and the impact that
perspective have, Becauseperspective is everything.
You and I can hear the samestory or the same fact.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Or the same sermon the same sermon.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
But perspective determines what we walk away
with.
You better believe it, and ifyou don't have a healthy
perspective in your thinking, ohmy God, as a man thinketh, so
is he.
If that perspective iscorrosive or contaminated or
negative or hopeless, it's goingto impact what you do.
Absolutely Right.
Go ahead, pastor, and thenwe're going to pull up some

(14:44):
scripture.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
You know, when you said that, I thought about the
difference between a victimmindset and a victor mindset.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Right, and so, though something can happen to me, I'm
nobody's victim.
Come on.
But that is stemmed out of whoI understand that I am in Christ
Jesus.
Come on, you know what I'msaying.
It doesn't come from mytakeaway from the world or my
takeaway from my upbringing, ormy takeaway from anything that
anybody told me in the earth.
It is my understanding of whoGod says I am, according to the

(15:14):
word of God.
So, things can happen to me, butI'm not your victim.
Glory to God, come on, I amnobody's victim, because the
Bible has taught me I am morethan a conqueror in Christ Jesus
and that no weapon formedagainst me shall prosper.
Glory be to God.
So, even when it forms, itdoesn't prosper.
So I'm not a victim, hallelujah.

(15:35):
Hallelujah.
And I think that is soimperative to me.
It just was this immediatecomparison, compare and contrast
kind of thing, because a lot oftimes we think that we're
victim because we go throughsomething.
You've got to make up in yourmind.
I feel this in the Holy Ghost.
You've got to make up in yourmind today, today, today I'm

(15:56):
nobody's victim, it doesn'tmatter.
It doesn't matter what hashappened, I can't.
I'm still here, Glory to God.
I'm still here.
I may have come out by my chinand chin, but I made it.
And so I'm nobody's victim, because God brought me out,
because God brought me throughand because God says I'm more

(16:18):
than a conqueror.
He didn't say I was a victim.
He didn't say I was a victim.
There's nowhere in the Biblewhere you will see that God said
you're a victim, we're notvictims.
Amen.
That is a concept that we'veadopted, that came from the
world, that didn't come from theword of God.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Yeah, the word of God says we are more than
conquerors More.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Exactly.
Come on somebody.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Absolutely so.
It calls us more thanconquerors.
You know in Christ Jesus.
Absolutely, I mean so.
It says that not only do youhave the victory, you have more
than just the victory.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
That's it.
You have victory, becauseChrist is your victory.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Yes, you have continual victory, continual.
So you know, there's no phrasemore than conqueror in the Greek
.
It is a depiction back whenthey had the Roman competitions
in the arena, and it is thedepiction of two people who have
gone into battle in competitionand one has defeated the other

(17:17):
one and he's standing over hisopponent with his foot on him,
you know, with his hands raisedhigh in victory.
So it said, you are more than aconqueror because of how
defeated your adversary is.
Come on somebody.
So we have more than just avictory over just this one
battle.
Come on, we have a life ofvictory, so we live a victorious

(17:37):
life.
Can?

Speaker 3 (17:38):
we say that again In Christ Jesus.
It's more than just one thing,it's everything.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
It's a victorious life yes.
That we have in Christ Jesus.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
And that's so powerful.
That's what you're saying, that's it, okay, yeah, so this
is exciting to me.
This is exciting to me becausenow, thank you, holy Ghost,
because now I can ask thequestion, and then we'll go
right into that.
And this is the openingquestion that I thought I was
going to ask originally, andthat is this Are you committed
to working the Word?

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Are you committed to working the word?

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Are you committed to working the word?
Because the truth is, the wordworks the word works.
But it only works when we workit.
It only works when we work it.
It won't work if we don't workit.
What do you mean by working?
You gotta take it, you have toapply it, you have to believe it
, you have to trust in it andyou can't move.
If you do move, get back overthere real quick and you confess
it over and over, and over andover.

(18:33):
You don't even have to feellike a conqueror, or more than
one.
Right.
But if you confess it enough, you'll begin to believe it Right
.
Because why Faith comes by whatHearing Right and hearing by
the word of God.
If we confess the word, itincreases our faith to begin to
believe the word that we'reconfessing Right.
So the question is are youcommitted?

(18:55):
And if you're not, I want tojust encourage you to become
committed.
I'm going to become committedto working the word.
Whatever that word is, I'mgoing to be committed to working
it, because if I becomecommitted to working it, I will
take every word that helps me tohave that winning mindset.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Right.
And I want to add to that andsay confess to belief in the
word, Confess to believe thatyou win, Confess to believe that
you've already won.
So as you confess to believingthat you have already won in
every context because Christ hasgone before you.

(19:36):
Now, even if I'm not reading ascripture or reminded of a
scripture, I have a mindset.
See, that's two words combinedtogether.
First syllable is mine, thesecond one is set.
So I have a two word.
How have you been looking?
So my mind is set on victory.
So now I'm living and walkingfrom a daily standpoint that I

(20:00):
win today, even if I haven'tgotten in that word yet, Even if
I'm processing throughsomething painful.
I may be processing throughsomething painful in my thoughts
and I may be crying in thismoment, but these tears are
momentary.
I'm human so I'm having amomentary emotion called pain

(20:22):
and sorrow, but that doesn'tmean my mind is not set on
winning.
See, it's like setting an alarmclock it's going to go off.
Now I might have to get to thattime when the alarm goes off,
so I may be grieving, weeping, may undo it for a night, but joy
comes in the morning.
So, in just a moment when thesetears dry because they're going
dry, why?

(20:42):
Because my victory mindsetalarm won't go off.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
And me, because I know.
I've already won that thing inJesus name, right?
If my mindset is that I'vealready won, then I know that
I'm coming out.
So I can still praise him withtears running down my face, I
can still praise him and givehim thanks and all of the things
.
Why the pain is there?
Why the pain is there?
Because my mind is set.

(21:07):
I love that.
That.
I still win.
I still win In spite of thistemporary moment, moment, so
okay.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
so let's, we're going to slow down just a little bit
to sort of make sure you get afew things that you should get,
because our subject ispossessing a winning mindset.
So how do we do that?
How do we tell our audience?
You know the process, theapproach, you know the
ingredients for possessing awinning mindset.
I want to first submit to you, ladies and gentlemen, that you

(21:42):
look at Jesus as the example.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
That's my first point Look to Jesus as the example of
a winning, a winners mindset.
And I want to look at thispassage of scripture here in
Philippians, chapter two.
This is verse five through 11,but I don't have to read it all.
It's Philippians two, fivethrough 11.

(22:05):
I don't have to read it all.
And it says this let the samemind, the same mind.
So.
So our goal is get to this mindof Christ, not not the mind of
a philosopher, the mind how mymama do things, how my dad do
things, how my friends seethings, how my pastor see things

(22:27):
.
That's not how it's about again, that relationship, loving God
and getting to that place wheremy mind is postured like the
mind of Christ.
So it says let this same mind bein you.
It didn't say let it come andgo.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Let it be concreted.
Let it be drilled, stapled, posted, stamped, glued.
Let this same mind be in youthat was in Christ Jesus, right,
yeah, philippians, chapter two, five through 11.
Let it be in you, not, not, not, not.
Let it come and go, not, let itsometime.

(23:05):
Let it be in you.
See, if something is in me, ifChrist's mind is in me let's
just look at this physically, even though it's talking about
spiritual, you'd have to crackmy head open and take it out.
That's how much is in me, justhow much this thing got to be in
you that it can't be taken out.
Now watch this.
It says who thought he was inthe form of God Watch this, I'm

(23:25):
sorry.
Who, though he was in the formof God, though he was in the
form of God, did not regardequality with God as something
to be exploited?
Exactly Okay, he walked throughlife umbled.
That's really what that issaying Amen.
If you're possessing a winningmindset, if you look at Christ's

(23:48):
humility, oh, you'll let Godcrush you.
You'll let God take you throughsome stuff.
You'll let God build characterin you.
You'll go through things andnot get mad at God and point
your finger at God and walk awayfrom God.
How could you end up a personwho is angry and bitter and
resentful when you, when you, when you have the humility of
Christ in your thinking?

(24:09):
If God is for me, who can beagainst me?
Don't he slay me yet?
Well, I trust you.
The first thing we got to do iscome down off this high horse.
Here somebody Jesus said.
Jesus said I am God, but stillI umbled myself and I live.
I have a mind posture ofhumility.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
This is good it is.
I have a mind posture.
I'm low, I'm, I can give me allkind of human possessions and
worldly possessions, but I'mstill going to be low,
absolutely.
So therefore, I can be rich andbe low.
I'm impacting below.
I can have a high title andposition, but be low, be humble
in my mind and say God, you gaveit to me.
You could take it away, whatever you want to do with

(24:49):
this, god is on you, but I muststay humble with it so that, no
matter whatever state I'm in,I'm going to be content.
No matter what come in my lifeand go in my life, I have a
character of humility on me.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
No matter what, no matter what, no matter what God
is, we're gonna let you jump in.
Oh, no, no, no no.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Now watch what he says.
Now he says did not regardequality with God, accepted to
be exploited, but he emptiedhimself Self out.
Yeah, oh, my god.
Yeah, when in mind said, yeah, empty yourself out.
So Christ can fill you with hispresence and with the Holy
Spirit.
Get rid of you.

(25:27):
Hmm.
You want to talk about having awin in mind, so get rid of you
and you'll get on God's agenda.
You won't be so mad aboutthings that didn't go your way,
because that's what it wasn'tsupposed to go your way.
Okay, I gotta, I gotta, I gottaget.
Remember we just landedbiblical foundation.
Right now he emptied himselfout.
Yeah, are you empty of yourideas and philosophies and your

(25:51):
plan and come on.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
We talk about a winning mindset.
I mean, seriously, I'm thinking.
I'm over here thinking aboutyou know we, we have to become,
you know, a clean slate, like a,like a whiteboard.
This erase everything, justerase everything.
We thought we knew everything.
Come on, everything we thoughtwe were, every ways that, every
everything, and allow God Toteach, train, develop us.

(26:16):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
And for some of us, what we're talking about is so
hard it is for some people outthere listening to me.
This is so hard for you becauseyou think we're talking about
God saying for you to not to useyour mind and not to be
intelligent and to be an idiotand just go for anything and
believe everything you read here.
No, that is exactly not whatwe're saying.
We're talking about trading thewisdom of man for the wisdom of

(26:39):
God.
We're talking about trainingintellect for faith.
Keep your righteous mindbecause God gave it to you, but
apply faith to what you think.
Absolutely come on somebody.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
So caught up in your way.
You know what I mean, right, the way you think, the way you
think, and a lot of times it'snot even based on any biblical
principle.
Right it's just what you Iposted something yesterday about
.
Just because you feelpassionate about it doesn't mean
it's right right.
You know, and so that's whatI'm.
That's what I'm talking about, like we can't get stuck on just

(27:10):
what I feel, like this right, okay, based on what?

Speaker 1 (27:12):
right.
See, what people don'tunderstand is some of human
knowing and some of divineknowing is the same, mm-hmm,
what you see, if it's red is red.
God believe is red too.
Yeah, but what God wants to dois show you how he can make that
.
Come in here.
Somebody is red now.
Human knowledge says is redyeah.

(27:33):
Divine knowledge says is readnow right.
Come on somebody.
It's good cuz God make thatthing blue.
Right in front of you.
Right in front of you, didn'the not turn?

Speaker 3 (27:42):
the water Into wine.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
He said Jesus is water now.
Yeah, but when you get up andstart taking it over here to
this table, that water gonnaturn in the wine.
So you and God on the same pay.
He's not trying to take yourknowledge, he's trying to
elevate your knowledge.
He's trying to faith yourknowledge.
That's why I love of elevation,so you can see what to do with
a thing that he would do with itCome on somebody.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
Oh, that's good, that's good.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Whoo Okay.
So I got to get back into thisbecause we lay in the foundation
, we give you the biblicalfoundation for possessing a
winning mindset.
Watch this, he says taking aform of a slave.
Now, that is that a Okay.
So let's put this into acontext of a narrative Going and
finding a slave, the poorest, feeblest, most insecure slave

(28:34):
that there is in all of his landand trading places with him.
Yeah.
So that's what that's.
That's what Jesus did.
He was God in the heavens, became Jesus in the flesh
through Mary, put on fleshclothes so that he could become
dirty and sinful, like a humanbeing, that he could save us,

(28:54):
hallelujah, that he could takethe sins of the world upon
himself.
So he became the form of aslave.
What do you mean?
A slave to sin, of slave to theflesh?
He became that.
Look at this level of mindsetthat God is telling us.
He that's saying be a servant.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
You don't have a winning mindset.
See, this is deep in heaven.
So somebody thought we wasgonna come with these seven
practical principles and stuffyou didn't heard before now we
taking you through the word ofGod first.
So you guys said because, takeoff your lordship and put on
your servant ship.
Absolutely, see, you came.
You'll never lose as a servantbecause you came to serve.

(29:32):
Come in here, somebody you cameto serve.
Yeah, I gotta stop that.
He said watch, being born inhuman likeness.
This is how he became this formof slave, because he was born
in human likeness.
Watch this.
And being in human form, heunborn himself and Became
obedient to the point of death,my lord.

(29:52):
Because, see, you know, takingon a sacrificial life to your
death to a lot of people don'tlook like a winning mindset.
Exactly, that's true, it lookslike.
Why would God even want me tolive that kind of life?
That's your destiny, mm-hmm.
See, winning is walking in yourdestiny, winning is walking in
your purpose, and you need acertain kind of mindset to walk

(30:14):
through some of the fires ofdestiny and purpose.
Yeah you need a certain type ofmindset to walk through lions
dens.
You need it because that's yourdestiny, daniel.
Yeah, you need a certainmindset to be thrown over in
fires and come out UnscrapedShatrak, meshach and Abednego.
You need a certain mindset tobe going to tell powerful people
they need to change thenarrative in which how they lead

(30:36):
.
Like Moses had to go to Pharaoh, what do you mean?
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
That's so real.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Am I taking too long?

Speaker 3 (30:43):
to help that girl.
That's good, because I don'twant to take this time.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
I'm just trying to oh , my God, we got to get out here
Listen, okay, so this is goingto be our foundation of
Scripture and we're going to go,we're going to leave you with
this, okay, and we're going togo listen.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
So he says therefore Can you say again where you are?

Speaker 1 (30:58):
I am in Philippians, chapter 2, verse 5 through 11.
Okay, and I just talked aboutJesus being obedient to the
cross.
And he says, therefore, godalso highly exalted him.
There's the wind.
There's the wind in mindset, there's the wind.
He highly exalted him and gavehim the name.
So you got to understand evenas a servant, you don't earn it.
He gave it to him.

(31:20):
That is real.
That is real.
Even if you serve perfectlywell, god still don't owe you
nothing.
That's right.
He gave it to him, yeah, andgave him a name that is above
every name, that at the name ofJesus, every knee shall bow and
every tongue shall confess inheaven and earth that Jesus is
Lord.
Listen, we want to leave youwith this foundational scripture

(31:41):
.
I know we got to go becausewe're out of time here, but
we're talking about the biblicalfoundation and here's what
we're going to do.
We're going to pick up part twoof the biblical foundation,
because I think we need to laymore Bible foundation in our
next episode.
Now, remember, we've talkedabout this winning mindset and
let's just recap real quick in60 seconds.

(32:02):
Pastor A, what's your recap?
60 seconds?

Speaker 3 (32:05):
60 seconds.
So, oh, am I going to be ableto do it in 60 seconds?
Probably not.
Let me do this, okay.
So when we think aboutpossessing, this is the only
thing I want to say is that wehave to be mindful that that
really means to take hold, totake hold and when you think
about taking hold, it requiresyour participation.
It requires for you to dosomething.

(32:27):
So you've got authority andpower to take hold of your own
mindset and not allow the waysof the world, or even the enemy,
to dictate what you think.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
That's it All.
Right, we've got the goal.
I'm telling you, I wish we hadmore time.
We're going to pick this rightback up, but remember, we talked
about loving Christ, being in arelationship.
We talked about the reality ofbelieving that God loves you.
Yes, right.
Yes, right.
And we talked about taking onthis mind of Christ, right, yeah

(33:00):
, and we talked about how youmust.
When you take on this mind ofChrist, you've got to take on
this humility, amen.
You've got to take on thisservanthood Amen, and you've got
.
You can't?
God don't owe you anything, that's right Amen, but he's
going to give it to you, amen, because he loves you.
Amen, listen, we've got to go.
This has been Daily BreadPodcast and this is the podcast
about glory.
Come on, impact and change.

(33:22):
God bless you.
We'll see you next time, amen.
Don't forget to download thisepisode and come back and be
with us on the next one.
You've got to come back and getthis word as we come together
and we talk about this, possessing a winning mindset.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
Amen.
God bless you.
We'll be with you next time.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Thank you.
