Today, we stand with the Israelites in Joshua 3, just steps from the Promised Land. But before them lies a barrier: the Jordan River in full flood. For us, that river might look like a financial burden, a crushing diagnosis, an anxious heart, or an emotional wound no one sees.

We open this devotional with an honest confession: “Lord, I’m scared today.” But that fear is met with bold faith: “This is the day I will see Your glory. This is the hour I will see Your power.” That’s what this daily prayer is all about—faith that moves forward, even when the waters haven’t parted yet.

Like the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant, we must step forward in faith before the miracle comes. As we do, we lock shields of faith with believers around the world—praying together, believing together, trusting together.

This is the day that the Lordhas made.
I shall rejoice and be glad and, lord, as I stand at the River
Jordan, lord, I come to you inprayer and Lord, as I stand at
the River Jordan, lord, I cometo you in prayer and Lord, as I
walk forward in faith.
Lord, I see and I can hear thisriver flowing at full flood

stage.
But today, lord, I'm walkingtowards the giants in my life.
I'm walking towards the riversin my life.
I'm walking towards the issuesin my life.
I'm walking towards the riversin my life.
I'm walking towards the issuesin my life and, lord, as you
told the Levitical priesthood,father, in the name of Jesus, to
pick up the ark and go andstand in the river Jordan.

I pick up the word, I pick upGenesis to Revelation, in prayer
, and I walk and I stand on thebrink of the river Jordan and
today, lord, I believe thatmiracles are happening.
Lord, where I cannot get overthis river, where I cannot get
through this river, lord, whereI am not capable of getting to

the other side, lord, I believetoday you are going to part the
River Jordan.
I believe that Jordanrepresents financial worry.
I believe that Jordanrepresents fear and doubt,
sickness and disease.
And I believe, as I stand onthe brink of the Jordan bank,

(02:21):
lord, I believe in miracles, Ibelieve in the power of the word
.
And today, lord, the challengesthat I have, lord, as I watch
and as I listen to the torrent,as I listen to the power, lord,
as I listen and I see the powerof the river of life at full

(02:41):
flood stage, I will not befearful Because, lord, you're
going to get me across.
You're going to get me acrossto the other side.
Lord, I am not going to be lefton the wrong side of the river
Jordan.
I believe you are going to takeme from where I am and you are
going to part this Jordan.

(03:01):
And, lord, I'm going to gothrough on dry ground, through
this prayer time, spirit of theliving God, as I stand on the
brink, lord, I've got nowhereelse to go, I've got nowhere
else to turn, but you've calledme to stand and to face the
giants and the rivers of life.
And, lord, I'm trusting youbecause I've spent everything

else and I'm scared today.
But, lord, I hear the sound.
I hear the sound of your wordBe strong and courageous.
Be strong and courageous.
So, lord, I pray that I will,we will, all of us today, under
the sound of my voice, will bestrong and courageous and we

stand strong together.
We lock shields of faith acrossthe world as brothers and
sisters in the kingdom of God.
And as we lock shields of faith, we stand together, lord, not
on the dry ground of the edge ofthe Jordan, but, lord, we go
into the river of life and wesay yes, lord.

This is the day, lord, where Isee your glory, this is the hour
where I see your power, this isthe moment, god, right now,
spirit of the living God, I pray, lord, for my brothers and
sisters as they look across theriver of life.
Today, they will know theirRedeemer lives and because he

lives, they can face tomorrow.
So right now, lord, as theystand anchored in the word of
God, knee deep in the river oflife, spirit of the living God,
will you make a way?
