Now let's dive into today'sdevotional and discover the
(00:56):
power of God's unshakable truth, wherever you are across this
world.
As I always say, let's get inthe greatest book the world has
ever seen.
We are going to the book ofEphesians, chapter 6, and we are
going to pick this up today atverse 10.
Whatever your day looks like, however, your life is being
(01:18):
reflected right now.
I want to encourage you throughthis daily Christian devotional
podcast that never give up,because God is with you, and I
want you to be strong and I wantyou to trust God's word like
never before.
And also I'm repeating this andsaying this and bringing myself
to this as well.
(01:38):
We've got to encourage oneanother wherever we are across
this world.
I want to pick this up in verse10 of Ephesians, chapter 6.
This podcast is just raw andlive.
You know we record thesestraight away and they are put
out within hours, within hoursof them going live on Spotify
(01:59):
and all the other podcastingplatforms.
But we want to encourage youtoday to be strong in the Lord
and in his mighty power.
Whatever you face, whatever yourlife is reflecting at this
moment in time.
Are you on the commute?
Are you on the school run?
Are you at home?
Is it summer holidays?
Where you are?
Are you on vacation?
(02:20):
Have you taken time out?
Have you retired?
Are you looking at ministry?
What is your life reflectinglike at this moment in time?
Do you find that life is quitehard at the moment?
Things are extremely difficult.
Do you think that there couldbe a bit of spiritual battle
going on without us realizing?
I believe that where we sitaccording to the world,
(02:42):
according to the Bible, morethan actually the world, and you
know what I mean.
I want to encourage you now.
We are getting ready for thesecond coming of Jesus Christ,
but we want to dive straightinto this unshakable daily
Christian devotion.
And we are in, as I said, thebook of Ephesians, chapter 6,
verse 10.
But do you feel that there is aspiritual heaviness?
(03:04):
Do you feel that there is aspiritual heaviness?
Do you feel that there is aweight upon your shoulders?
Do you feel that you are, youare pressed on all sides
according to the word of God?
Do you feel that you're walkingthrough this continuous valley
of heaviness and weight?
I just wonder.
I'm asking myself this questionthis morning, at this hour,
(03:24):
wherever you are.
Is there a spiritual heavinessonto my life that I've never
seen before?
I believe there is.
Is it because of the lifestylechoices?
No, is it because I've donesomething wrong?
No, it is because of thecalendar is showing us,
according to the word of God,that Jesus Christ is preparing
(03:47):
the bride of Christ.
So now is a time to get readyspiritually, to be encouraged
and to stand firm in the gospelof truth.
So what I am saying is simplywhat verse 10 says in the book
of Ephesians, chapter 6.
Finally, be strong in the Lordand his mighty power.
When I look at that text, thatreally makes my heart sing today
(04:11):
, because God is telling us tobe encouraged in the trials, in
the tests, in the worries and inthe fears.
Let's just read this one moretime Finally, be strong in the
Lord and in his mighty power.
Let's be strong together.
Let's believe for miracles, let's trust in God's unfailing
love.
And as we come to a time ofprayer, through this daily
(04:34):
devotional podcast, I want totell you and encourage you today
never give up.
Be encouraged that the word ofGod is over your life.
Be encouraged today that allthings are possible to those who
believe.
So, as we step into a moment ofprayer, will you join me in
prayer Wherever you are?
Shall we ask God that he willkeep us strong and fervent for
(04:56):
the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Father, as we come to you inprayer right now, in the
greatest name in heaven andearth, father, we bow the knee.
We bow the knee to the King ofKings and the Lord of Lords, and
we are expecting.
We are expecting a miracle todayand, lord, through the gospel
of hope, through the word of God, lord, through your power,
(05:17):
through your anointing andthrough your love, we are
expecting strength.
Today, lord, you tell usfinally be strong in the Lord.
And Lord, will you help me andmy brothers and sisters across
the world to be strong in theLord.
Will you help me to rise as onwings, as of eagles?
Will you help me to rise out ofthe ashes of life and, lord,
(05:39):
will you help me to be strong?
You can almost hear the Lordsaying what do you want to be
strong for, ben, Lord?
I want to be strong to makeproper decisions.
I want to be wise, lord.
I want to be wise in your eyes, lord.
I want the wisdom of God.
I want the wisdom of Christ.
I want the wisdom of the wordof God.
I'm being bold there.
(06:00):
I want the wisdom of God.
Come on God, come on Jesus.
Wherever we are at this momentin time, lord, we thank you that
this is real, this is authentic.
This is.
We thank you that this is real, this is authentic, this is
straight out the can of truth, this daily devotional podcast.
And as we come to you in therawness, lord, in the beauty, in
(06:24):
your majesty, in yoursovereignty, we cry out today,
lord, we cry out holy, holy, holy is the Lord, but we believe
, we believe in miracles.
The Lord, but we believe, webelieve in miracles.
And today, just as the word ofGod says, we put on the armor of
God and, finally, we're beingstrong, strong to make decisions
, strong to make the rightunderstanding, the right
lifestyle choices.
(06:44):
We are finally being strong inthe Lord.
And what do you mean, jesus?
What do you mean through thattext?
Finally be strong in the Lord.
And what do you mean, jesus, what do you mean through that
text?
Finally be strong in the Lord.
We understand that the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit is
omnipotent.
Omnipresent.
God is everywhere.
God is in all things, Allthings are possible to those who
believe.
So what does it mean, what doesit mean, rev, what does it mean
(07:05):
, reverend Ben, to be strong inthe Lord?
I believe?
I believe it's a simpleunderstanding like this we
understand that the word of Godis from Genesis to Revelation
and what we need is to make alife application, because that's
what we need to do A lifeapplication so that I will put
this into a physical application, so that my life and I stretch
(07:27):
out in faith.
So today, lord, I believe, whenyou tell us to be strong in the
Lord is to take the scripture,to walk by faith, to step out of
the boat of comfort and believethat we can walk on water.
I've got to see it first.
So, lord, will you help me tobe strong in my vision and in my
dream, not to waver, but to bestrong in the Lord.
(07:50):
You know, the word of God willcarry you, the word of God will
lift you, the word of God willfeed you, the word of God will
get you to your destinationalpoint.
I believe.
Can I be completely open andhonest for this devotion this
morning?
I believe that we may have lostour identity through the church
.
I believe that we may have lostour identity through life,
(08:13):
through finances, throughmaterialism, through ministry,
through relationships, throughfamily.
I believe that there are manypeople in our lives that are
trying to mold us, trying toshape us and trying to be the
vessel that they want us to be.
But who does God want you to bethis morning, at this, this
hour, this afternoon or thisevening, whenever you capture
this podcast?
Who is God calling you to be?
(08:35):
It takes strength to be theperson that God is calling you
to be.
It will take everything, butthe Bible says seek you first
the kingdom of God and hisrighteousness, and everything
else shall be added unto thee.
So when we look at thescriptures that we're in are we
allowing god to shape us, andthat takes strength.
So the bible says in verse 10of ephesians, chapter 6 finally,
(09:00):
be strong in the lord and inhis mighty power.
Verse 11 put on the full armorof god so that you can stand and
take the test that the devilschemes.
Schemes come at you, for ourstruggle isn't against flesh and
blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against
the powers of darkness of thisworld, against the spiritual
forces of evil in heavenlyrealms.
(09:23):
You know, are you feeling heavytoday?
Are you feeling the weight ofthe world, so to speak?
I want to encourage you.
Wherever you are, whatever yourculture, whatever lifestyle
you're looking at at this moment, however old you are, whatever
life may be pushing down thecorridor of your life, I believe
there is a great miraclewaiting for you.
(09:43):
I believe that there's not justone miracle, but there's
uncountable miracles for you.
Today, in this 15-minuteChristian devotional podcast, as
we come before the cross ofCalvary today, I want to tell
you and encourage you be strongin the Lord and put on the armor
.
Read that book of Ephesians, chapter 6.
(10:04):
Put on the armor today when yougo to school.
Put on the armor when you go towork, put on the armor.
When you leave the house, wherever you live, put on the
armor of God.
And you know what?
Lord, we take it off, but weshouldn't take it off.
It should be a continuum.
We are always dressed in thearmor, we're always ready for
(10:25):
battle.
But hang on, let's just wait amoment.
What do you mean?
We're dressed ready for battle?
I don't feel like fighting.
I don't want to fight.
We're not saying fight.
What we're saying is stand yourground.
Stand your ground and be ready.
But be dressed and be ready, because the Bible says the
battle belongs to the Lord.
Whatever your name is, whoeveryou are, the battle that you
(10:49):
face is is God's.
So when the Bible says be strongin the Lord and in his mighty
power, what does that mean?
We come to the cross daily.
The Bible says pick up yourcross and follow me.
It takes strength beyond humanunderstanding to lay everything
down at the cross of Calvary andto stand at that cross.
(11:13):
Visualize that cross now, wherever you are, and say to
yourself Father, in the name ofJesus, as I stand at the cross
of Calvary, as I visualize thiscross, as I've got it in my
dream world, lord, I've got itin my forefront of my thinking.
I stand at the cross of Calvaryand, lord, I leave my battles,
(11:37):
I leave my fears, I leave mydoubts and, lord, I take up the
strength for the word of God.
And, lord, I stand strong inyour scripture and I thank you,
lord, that I haven't got tobattle my way through life, that
I haven't got to jump in thearena with any human being, but,
lord, all I got to do is bedressed in the full armor for
(11:58):
the protection of the skin thatI walk in against the vials and
what the enemy throws my way.
So, lord, will you help me toget dressed today?
Will you help me put on thearmor, lord, on this beautiful,
heavenly armor?
Will you help me to put on thebreastplate of righteousness,
lord?
Will you help me to put on thebreastplate of righteousness,
lord?
(12:18):
Will you help me to carry thesword of the spirit?
Will you help me, lord, to pickup the shield of faith?
Will you help me to put on thehelmet of salvation, the buckle
of truth around my waist, lord?
Will you help me put on thegospel of peace on my feet, lord
?
Will you help me to be dressedand ready?
But, lord, I thank you.
All I've got to do is get readyand stand firm, because the
(12:39):
battle belongs to you.
So today, lord, wherever we arescattered across this beautiful
world, I pray, lord, that wewill realize.
All I've got to do is bedressed and allow the Holy
Spirit to work in me and throughme.
But, lord, as I get dressedready for battle, I haven't got
(12:59):
to fight, I've just got to befaithful through the word,
because the battle belongs tothe Lord.
According to the scripture, thebattle is God's.
The battle is the triuneGodhead, the father of Isaac,
jacob and Abraham.
The battle belongs to the Godof Israel.
All we got to do today is getdressed in scripture.
(13:21):
So, as you rise, maybe in themiddle of the day, in the
evening, as you're unwinding, asyou're preparing for the day,
wherever you are, whatever yourtime zone is, shall we get
dressed in the full armor of God?
And, lord, as we get dressed inthe armor, will you make sure
that we always stay dressed, that we never want to take off
(13:43):
the helmet of salvation, wenever want to drop the sword of
the spirit?
Lord, we want to be dressed andready, but, lord, we also want
to be ready within ourselves tosay Jesus, I thank you that the
battle belongs to the Lord.
I love you, lord, and I blessthe most beautiful name in
heaven and earth and whereveryou are today, whatever your
(14:05):
name is, god is calling you.
God is calling you to grace, god is calling you to mercy, god
is calling you to walkdifferent, and he's speaking to
me today, today.
