What storms are you dealing with today? Is it financial, loss of a loved one, a terrible crisis, something at work or school? We all go through it. The blows of life suck - they make us feel fearful, emotional, anxious, and just outright bad. 

But Anchor yourself in Jesus before fear takes over. He is with you in the storm. See storms can end uprubtly, but most often they don't.

Not for what He can do for you, of course those things will come because He is so loving and generous, but to come and spend time with Him like a child who genuinely does with a parent.

When we are committed to loving the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and all our strength, and focus our efforts on Him, then it is easy to do the right thing. When we don't focus our love on Him, we can do things our way and let our emotions get the best of us. This message is especially for me because I blow it too.
