How do we escape corruption?

If you are a Christian, I'm sure you have heard about the corruption that goes on in the world, that Christ redeemed us from it and we are now to live holy lives.

Most of the time, a holy life is described as not sinning: it's told from the defense: what we are to prevent from doing.

But how do we live on the offense as Christians in regards to escaping corruption?

What good things has good given is to motivate us towards the kingdom of heaven?

Let me share some things I was thinking about. I was reading from 2 Peter 1. I'm pretty sure I went over other scriptures but by the time I was able to get this uploaded, I couldn't recall them so take note while your listening today.
