desire for righteousness, for right standing with God for His
(00:22):
presence, His will and his ways. And what does Jesus promise?
Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled.
The world offers countless things to satisfy us.
Success, possessions, pleasure, approval.
But these things never truly quench the deepest longing of
our hearts. They satisfy for a moment, but
(00:44):
leave us emptier in the end. But when we hunger for God's
righteousness, His truth, His character, His rule in our
lives, we find true satisfactionbecause only God can fill the
empty spaces of our hearts. What does it mean to hunger and
thirst for righteousness? It means longing to live in a
way that pleases God, not just outwardly but from the heart.
(01:07):
It means desiring His truth, HisHoliness, His justice, and His
will above our own. It means craving His word like
daily bread and seeking His Spirit to guide our steps.
David expressed this hunger beautifully.
As the deer pants for streams ofwater, so my soul pants for you,
my God, My soul thirsts for God,for the living.
(01:29):
God says Psalm 42 verses one to two, the blessing of being
filled. Jesus promises that those who
seek God's righteousness will befilled.
Not might be, not could be, willbe.
God delights in satisfying the hunger of His children.
When you earnestly seek Him, youwill experience the fullness of
(01:52):
His grace, His strength, His peace, and His joy.
Your soul will be nourished in ways no earthly thing can
provide. And the more you taste of Him,
the more you'll hunger for Him in the best and most beautiful
way. How do we cultivate this hunger?
Spend time in God's Word daily. Let it feed your soul.
(02:13):

your life. Turn from sin.
Remove what dulls your appetite for Him.

His goodness. Stay in fellowship, encourage
and be encouraged by others who seek God.
Beloved, nothing this world offers can satisfy like God's
(02:34):
righteousness. If you're spiritually hungry
today, take heart that hunger isa gift.
Come to Jesus, feed on His word, drink deeply of His spirit and
you will be filled in Jesus name.
