Philippians 4:6 — Powerful Prayer for Anxiety, Worry, and Overthinking in the Early Hours

3 A.M. Release — Recorded live here in London, England — from London to Seoul, from Chicago to Cape Town — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope.

📖 Scripture (NIV)

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” — Philippians 4:6 (NIV)

Show Notes

At 3 a.m., the world feels quieter, yet the mind can feel louder. Worry multiplies. Thoughts repeat. Anxiety rises. But the Word of God cuts through the noise: “Do not be anxious about anything.” This is not denial — it is divine exchange. You do not carry the weight alone. You bring it to the One strong enough to hold it.

This early-hour prayer is for every believer who wakes up with racing thoughts, unfinished battles, or unseen fear. God’s peace is not delayed until morning. It can meet you now — in the stillness, in the dark, in the overwhelm.

From London to Seoul, from Chicago to Cape Town, believers are presenting their worries to God together. What steals your sleep cannot steal your destiny.

Declare with faith: “Anxiety is not my future. Peace is my portion.”

Thank you for standing with us.
We're going to jump straightinto that beautiful book of
Philippians 4, verse 6.
You know, this scripture is forme.

(00:46):
This scripture is for you.
Wherever you are today, I wantto encourage you, don't be
anxious about anything.
This is an evergreen word.
The word of God is evergreen.
It is always alive.
It is always well.
Father, we pray in the name ofthe Father, the Son, the Holy
Spirit.
We ask you, Lord, as we dig deepinto this scripture today.
Lord, as we align ourselves withJesus Christ, as we bring

(01:09):
ourselves in line with the HolySpirit.
Lord, you tell us do not beanxious about anything.
But in every situation, byprayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present yourrequest to God.
Lord, whatever the hour is,whatever the moment is, however
our minds are feeling, Lord,we're not going to be anxious.
Lord, we're going to try andwe're going to walk by faith.
Lord, when anxiety rises, webelieve that the word of God is

(01:33):
blessing our hearts, our minds, our bodies, our souls.
We believe that the word cutsthrough the noise of chaos.
And Lord, we ask you right nowthat you will help us not to be
anxious about anything.
Lord, we are not denying it, butLord, we need a divine exchange
today.
We believe in the Father, theSon, the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Word of God.
We believe that this word isrich today.

(01:55):
We believe this word is aliveand well.
We believe that we areborn-again spirit-filled
believers.
But Lord, we come against thatword, anxiety, and we pray
today, Lord, when we feelanxious about our future, Lord,
we pray that peace will be ourportion.
Lord, we want to declare withfaith when anxiety is not, dear
God, going to get a hold of us.

(02:15):
We want to shout now.
Yes, Lord, we we release thatanxiety.
We release that fear.
And we come to you right now andwe ask you, Lord, will you bring
us, Lord, to a place where wecan be strong in the word of
God?
We ask you through the earlyhours of this prayer.
We thank you for this morningprayer.
We thank you that we're able togather around the word of God
before we get the day done.
So Lord, help us have ourdevotional time.

(02:38):
Help us, dear God, to seek yefirst the kingdom of God and thy
righteousness.
From London all the way to CapeTown, from Cape Town to Chicago,
all the way, dear God, toDetroit, wherever we are, New
York, Lord, across the BelaricIslands, Father, all the way to
Tenerife, dear God, Malaga,every place.
We thank you, dear God, wherebelievers are right now.

(03:00):
Spain and Ukraine, dear God,come right now over Cape Town.
Let the glory reign.
We believe in the power of theHoly Spirit.
We believe, dear God, that whilewe sleep, dear God, you are
fixing that broken heart.
We believe, dear God, that thedevil cannot steal that the love
that we have for God.
Nothing can separate us from thelove of God that is found in

(03:21):
Christ Jesus.
And right now we pray thatanxiety will overtake.
Lord, anxiety will overtake.
It's going to overtake.
Lord, we believe anxiety isgoing to overtake, and we
believe that it's going to burnitself out.
So Lord, we thank you that He'sgoing to overtake and it is
going to burn itself out.
Lord, but it cannot overtake thelove of God.
And as it tries to overtake, asit tries to lift itself, Lord,

(03:44):
we recognize that it is tryingto overtake our mind.
But Lord, right away now, through this prayer time, it is
not going to get any traction inour lives.
Lord, we say, let it overtake, but Lord, we're going to get a
hold of it and we're going toplace it at the cross.
It can overtake, it can do whatit likes, but Lord God, it's not
going to control my life in thename of Jesus.
We pray for peace of mind whenwe can't rest.

(04:06):
We pray for calm in panic andfear.
We ask, dear God, for emotionalhealing from anxiety.
We trust in God's word inuncertain days.
We come to you, dear God, not inworry, not in fear, but we come
in faith.
Lord, we turn it, we switch itaround.
And we want to declare rightnow, when my mind is steady, my
soul is safe.

(04:26):
I give God the glory.
I give God my worry.
He gives me peace of mind in themighty name of Jesus Christ.
But we want to make a call toaction right now.
We want to tell the world thatthe battle of anxiety belongs to
God.
Wherever you are, may the Spiritof the living God be over you.
May the power of Jesus Christ bein your life.
And just remind yourself, giveyourself a call to action.

(04:49):
The battle belongs to the Lord.
My name's Reverend Ben Cooper.
Until tomorrow, keep in theword.
