In the Baha’i faith, the names of God are considered qualities that describe aspects of God’s nature. All of creation reflects the attributes of God to some degree, and we humans are created to reflect these names. The names of God illumine our souls and refine the character of humankind.
Welcome to Dawn Prayers. Today, we turn our hearts to the Names of God—each a jewel of His beauty, each a ray of His light. They whisper of His mercy, His justice, His love, His majesty. As we breathe these Names in prayer, may they awaken the divine qualities within us and draw us nearer to the One who is the Source of all being.
