go see the damn movie. Yeah, and that is absolutely accurate.
Like Gun has already said that zamZam fits well. Yeah, but it's
its own little pocket. Shazam fitswell into the dc slate, the DCU,
his DCU slate. If it doesn'ttrack well, if it doesn't I

mean sorry, if it doesn't dowell at the box office, Um,
then they definitely won't do more.But it is tracking. This is in
the bad category, the not socool category. It's Shazam. Theory of
the Gods is tracking for a freakingreally low opening weekend box office of thirty
five million. Yeah, that wouldbe one of the lowest. That would

be one of the lowest DC movieopenings ever. I mean that would include
like Birds of Prey with a pandemic. I think Birds of Prey was the
only one that like would be lowerthan that. But I mean, to
give some context, the first Shazammade fifty three million in this opening weekend,

and it saw a one hundred andforty million dollars domestic take. So
yeah, that goes right, Yeah, that's gonna be a a long That's
gonna be kind of a slog oflike God, it makes you want to
avoid the internet for a week ortwo, right, it does? It
does? You know? I likedBlack Adam enough, but you know,

it's been said over and over againthat, like the reason they haven't had
Black Adam like they in Shazam wasbecause Warner Brothers was like Bogarten shit.
They were like, no, youcan't have them yet. Also, you
can't have a bunch of other thingsyet, so you're gonna have to create
some wholesale characters for your for yournew Fury of the God's movie because Black

Adam might be using this screw thatshit hopefully. Like, honestly, I
would love just see Shazam do wellenough to garner a third movie and bring
back Black Adam, bring back theRock and have a proper showdown in the
final old Shazam movie where the thirdShazam movie or whatever you want to call

Adam did that damn bad. Imean, I guess it was technically a
flop, but maybe not. Idon't mean it was abysmal was the word

have been similar in the sense thatit's been like guerrilla warfare. Fuck I

uh, you know, viewing screeningsand all that. They're very confident of
the movie. They're already doing thatthere, They've already got viewings out there.

by the way, Theory of theGods is getting great reviews, like the
initial reviews, like they lifted theembargo and like the reviews are starting to
pour in and they're all very verypositive. Cool. So I think,
you know, vote with your dollar, dude, if you want to see
more Shazam and the DCU do it, go go see it. I'm gonna
go see it. Yeah, I'llbe voting with the dollars too. Just

Mentally, Sandburg says that Shazam Theoryof the Gods has not changed under

the new DC Studios plans. Hesays the finished movie was delivered into October
year, so right before James Gunnofficially began the job. Sure, sometimes
productions can add scenes or do changesvery last minute, but nothing has changed
on Shazam. It is a freestandingstory and they have told me it does
not affect or interfere with future DCplans, So no reason to change anything.

into the positions they're in right now, there were lots of conversations about what's

Lansing said, basically in certain terms, that The Flash is going to blow
minds. When of his theaters,he says, I know too much about

of this to say, I ampsyched. And when pressed to at least
answer how much The Flash will blowfans minds with surprises and twists on a

Screechure Commandos and Superman Legacy were bothin development before Gunn and Saffron took
over. So there's that. Yeahcha, And I feel like that's kind
of a big deal to note becauseso many people were saying that, like
James Gunn fired Zack Snyder. Hedidn't you And he pointed that out too.

He was like, I dude,his Zack Snyder had not worked for
DC for years before I took over. No, he he would have had
to have hired him. It wasn't. He wasn't on the roster. If

I don't even think he has yet. I think Snyder is busy, and

because I think James Gunn. Istill think he's our best shot as the
Snyder verse being quote unquote restored asfar as getting the ending that we want
