promoting his new movie Until Dawn, David Zamberg, director of
Shazam Shazam Fury of the Gods, discussed what drew him
to the project, citing the creative script in its approach
to bringing the video games story to life. There was
a point in time though, when he couldn't have He

couldn't have been at all interested in helping this movie.
He had negative experiences experiences with the DCEU. He swore
off working on any other project based on established ip.
He says, I mean, to be honest, fans can get very,
very crazy and very angry with you. You can get
like death threats and everything. So after Shazam Too, I
was like, I never want to do another IP based movie.

It's not worth it. But then I was set the script.
I would set the script, and I was like, ah,
that would be so much fun to do. I kind

people see what they're what we're trying to do and

And then you see, like Batman like give him the

thumbs up. Number one, Batman, Gordon, his old ass can't
see you've given a thumbs up from that damn jet
all the way up in the sky. Two. It occurs
to me that there is no way Batman could have
known what Gordon had the bat signal on for he
was going after Riddler. There was no way that Gordon
knew what Batman was going to go do, which means

that he had the bat signal on for some entirely
different reason, like I don't know, the Joker came back
to life or something something crazy happened.
