a freaking TV spot that was funfor the super Bowl. And now that

Let's talk about the game for awhile. I have no I have
no idea. That is the onething in the Super Bowl I didn't give
a shit about is the game.I was like, I don't even this
is football? Is that with theSuper Bowl? Okay? Oh, but

Their release date in China is Marchseventeenth, same day as the US,
which is really cool. That isa huge market, and I you know,
you never know exactly what China isgonna do. And Black Adam was
banned in China because what was it? Pierce Brosden mentioned that he met the

Dabi Lama some years ago probably andthat the censorship rules they are vague.
And suicide Squad the first suicide squadwas that was banned ye, so yeah,
probably because the dude was wearing blueor something. I genuinely don't know

That was the the official response,but there was a lot of conjecture for

to care about aging for instance,on Michael Shannon, you know, yeah,
not in the format of Kryptonian visitingEarth. That's it's that now.
But you know the whole will makingthe ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the

It's a flash movie or it's aflashpoint, so some some kind of
flash out of that. I meanthere are two flashes here. We got

So they had this trailer out,man, I dug the way this trailer
was edited. I really loved theshot of young Barry running out and it

going from daytime to like nighttime inthe present with older flash. Yeah.
Um, and I really did love, like I love seeing Ben. I
was a little dubious because I sawblue and gray as far as his new
costume is concerned, and that feltlike Weedon's Justice League because they did try
to like blew him up a littlebit for that cut. I know,

and I hate that because I loveblue and gray. I do too.
I mean I'm wearing it right now. Yeah. Um, so we knew
that it was gonna be uh,you know, I think it's funny that
the trailer is like not even tryingto hide the fact that you know the

the movie is going to be like, hey, it's gonna be Clark.
Wait, no, it's Cara.That's a reveal, Like they're just like,
yeah, you know this already.You know what's gonna happen. It's
out there. Um man, it'sgood. It's good to see Keaton back
in the cowl, though, youknow, honestly, m obviously, I

was surprised. I was surprised byhow much the cow still looks like the
one that doesn't really move very well. Yeah, because there's a part of
me that thought they might, uh, you know, Nolan trilogy style kind
of VAMPI up a little b whereit had more movement because they that was
a nice callback in the Nolan trilogy. Was like, man, I just
wish I could term head more.Um. I liked the idea, and

on the other hand, pretty justthinks like, well, he's been wearing
it a while, it probably bendsbetter just broke it in, you know.
Well, no, but because inthe TV spot. We saw the
old nineteen eighty nine and the Batmanreturns. I like when I saw the
full fleshed out version and all ofthem together. It made more sense.
When I saw it the first time, I just kind of thought, like,

canny, Cannie move. But Ithought that for about a quarter second
before my favorite moment happened and theentire thing. Um, he can still
kick some fucking ass. Well,his CGI and stunt double can. Yes,
yes, And I'm deeply excited aboutseeing those two at work. I

Ezra choking that woman in the bar. I did not like, is this

you mention it? And I don'tthink that was gonna be some meta joke,
but but I get it. Idon't think after what seventeen years of
developing this movie, that they hadtime to put in all the metajokes that

What's remind everyone of that time?Because you don't have enough bullshit coming at

enjoyed it. The Flash super BowlTV spot had a couple other shots like

Affleck starting up his bat cycle,like driving out of the Flying Fox from
Justice League, and dude, allthe Michael Keaton suits, so many Michael
Keaton suits. They had some blueand gray and I can't tell you how
happy I am to see that theone that looks like the eighty nine suit

but it's blue and gray because Ihave a Michael Keaton looks like Michael Keaton
action figure that Kenner put out.That was the blue and gray that looked
exactly like what they had in there. So I'm like, is Cannon,
my Toya? Is Cannon? Nice? Um? And then they had like
work though that might have been Cannonbegin with some shit happen, but they
dude, they had like a blueand gray Batman cowl that had the freaking

sixty six logo on it. Didyou notice that the one with the sixty
six logo is the one that hadthem the gun holsters? Oh that is
sixty six. Yeah, the wingsgo down all the way. M hmmm,
I deposit and find it. Yeah, and not too far behind it
or or thematically behind it is theone that kind of looks like some combination

of sixty six and uh Nightmare versekind of Batman. Yeah, they had
like they have like a desert gearwith the goggles and the like a hood.

if you look at that TV SuperBowl ad, um, we can see

Burton versus Berry in the modified Batmansuit with like the nubs, the cutoff
ears running and leaping and like likekicking a what looks like a black speedster
figure that looks or could look verymuch like the uh the toy that we've

been seeing, you know, popup from the flash like they're gonna release
um, which is like a blackflash type of situation. And I don't
know if he's supposed to be likea reverse flash or or if it's gonna
be like a speed raife, youknow, coming after Barry for changing trying
to change the timeline. I amvery interested in what the hell they're doing

here. Could he be like ablack racer situation? For all that it's
gonna matter on this one, Imean, yeah. One thing that's confused
me, Like there's a last shotin the TV spot where I think they
have a close up of the heels. It's because it's a red and a
blue light kind of thing, andthe moment I saw the blue lightning,

I just kind of hoped for davesake, I hope it is cobalt.
That would be an interesting take oncobalt blue. But the blue lightning in
the comics. The blue means thefaster of the of the speedsters. But
if you notice the blue is aroundthe Burton verse berry. Yeah, and
even in the shot that I'm lookingat it, I just kind of paused
it. It's kind of intertwined,like there's as much blue on the red

side as there has red on theblue side. I don't know if that
means anything. And it looks likeKryptonians behind it and the still front,
but on the far far far ohyeah, they're definitely like that looks like
the scene from A Man of Steelwhere like the army goes out to like
meet up with Zod, except there'sno Superman there this time, but this

time is Flash and Keaton, Batsand Cara. Yeah. Um, nothing
I'm curious about because one of themspecifically even looks like Zod and you know
it anyway, it's I'm sure Kryptonians. It's just the one on the far
far right when I accidentally freeze framed, it just looks like that. It

looks like a bolt logo on theside, like on the chest. To
me, like that one looks likeit might be another Flash. Yeah,
probably in illusion. I mean yeah, I mean I think there's there's definitely
like, like I said, likethey've put out the toy. If anyone
wants to like tell me what I'mactually saying, we've seen a toy of
like this. I think they calleda dart flash on the on the packaging.
But it's like he almost looks likehe he looks like Doomsday almost like

he's got like the ridges and stuff. So for all I know, it
might be like you know, Zodinstead of wandering becoming Doomsday becomes like some
sort of like flash version of Doomsday. I don't know, man, I
don't know. Um, but ohmy god, it would be fun if
they pulled in some metal stuff.But like I think it was the Red
Death when it was actually like themetal the Dark Knights metal version of it.

Um, he was not to betraffled with. So it told when
there's a scene of the trailer whereBarry's like, Batman, what do we
do? And Batman goes try notto die and it looks like a great
one shot and that's something with hiswrist there. Well, what he's doing
is you know how you do likethe the it's like the military signal when

you like hold up your hand andthen you hold it in a fist until
I stop to signal signal, Yeah, until he's you know, that's where
you hold it up to the guysbehind you and you know, say freeze.
From what I've learned from movie,I've also seen it be used as
a engage situation. But it lookslike he's hold up his hand and he

closes his fist and pulls his fistdown and cars behind him floating in the
air. But I think that's notthe Kryptonian battle. That is when they're
breaking her out of that government silo, because she's still in the in the
like the Potato Sacks clothing. Yeah, altogether that scene it kind of felt
like Batman jumps off the back ofit whatever elevated stage they're on to me,

and then to me it kind oflooked like he was doing something with
his wrist that was actually like gadgetyrather than just a signal. But yeah,
I completely agree about the place.Like the setting looks like where they
pulled Potato Sacks Supergirl out and we'regoing to call her that now, right,
can we? When she gets intocostume shows super Girl. But for

a moment in this movie, I'mwith you completely Tader Sacks Supergirl, sax
Supergirl or sacker Girl. Um.I have to say though, like that
that trailer was sick as shit,dude, Like I dug it. Yeah,
and uh and then just still mysterieslike the blood by the one Cowl

at the beginning and what I man, And I like the made a mystery
that it starts out with Keaton askinglike why this one because this is the
this is the world where my motherlived. Yeah, which is again a
very powerful retort. But I likethat that's I guess the tone of where
that starts. I guess, yeah. It leaves you to wonder about a

lot of things. Look what well, I mean just directionally, like you
kind of wonder like is Keaton uhso desponded about his universe that he among
all the men other people it wasjust like, man, all the versions
of things you could save and thisis like it makes you think he's got
another universe that he found somewhere wherehe's like, no, that's where more
good happened. That's what you shouldsay. And that's an interesting idea.

And then for you know, forBarry's sake, like what what is the
integral? Like the primal force inhis life. I lost my mom.
I lost my mom too early,and I wanted more time. Like and
you know, Keaton's gonna like likeputting putting together the flash trailer in the
super Bowl TV spot, like youreally get a good, a really good

sense of why Bruce is helping him, because I mean, like we get
a shot of him, like ofBruce, old Bruce with his long gray
hair touching the picture of his ofhis mother, and that activating the uh
the entrance to the Batcave. Likeman, I was like a little bit

like, oh God, like thatthat touched me. Like I was actually
like pausing and like looking for picturesof Michael Golf, you know, like
can we can we get a MichaelGolf Alfred? Real quick? Do you
do you have a picture of Alfredup there? Oh? Another question,
just for speculations purpose, is thisso if a lot of this takes place

or a chunk of it takes placein the like the Keaton verse, you
know, um, it's the shorthaired version of Ezra that's talking to Ben
Affleck Yeah is that even Batman?Yeah? I mean shorthaired version of Ezra
of Berry is Snyder verse Berry?Right, and we see Michael Keaton's Batman

in the Blue and Gray driving outof the Flying Fox, so we know
that he is Batman. I meanno, I mean like, that's my
point. Is it in this versionis Affleck whatever he's playing, And that's
what I'm suggesting, is like,is he playing something else where in the
Keaton verse that is Bruce Wayne?But whoever it is that I was talking

to. No, it's based onthe dialogue in that scene. I would
say that this was in like Snyderverse quote unquote, because he's saying,
I could I could change the styeverything. You could also destroy everything.
Yeah. Well, And the onlything that occurred to me after watching this
trailer some something upwards of seventeen times, uh, was now, I've seen

this trope a few times where youfind somebody that's the analog like, who
was it? Was it you thatjust watched yesterday? So I was just
talking to me about about the filmyesterday, where you know, the guy
