Liz graduated from Dublin City Schools in 2010. She went on to earn Bachelor's (Cornell College) and Master's (Univ. of Denver) degrees, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Education (Univ. of Colorado) so she could get her teaching license. In this conversation, Liz shares her journey as an educational nonprofit leader, discussing her current roles with CoolTechGirls and Students for Civic Impact, two nonprofit organizations that are creating great experiential learning opportunities for students interested in STEM and/or making an impact through public service. Liz reflects on her professional experiences that shaped her leadership skills, the significance of balance in education, and the value of pursuing diverse interests. She also highlights her time at Cornell College and offers valuable advice for students preparing for life after high school.
