After several months off for Advent, Christmas, and the continued fight against COVID,  the Deacons sat down with Jeff Crump and James Drummond to talk about the Knights of Columbus and our annual Lenten Fish Fry's.  There is a completely new venue, menu, and ordering system.  We also learned a little about the Knights and what they mean to the parish and the community.  It was a good discussion.  We also talked a bit about other things in the church and previewed what may be in store for us as Lent approaches.  It was a good show and we think you will enjoy it.

This is on. Can you hear me? Hey, it's January
29 2021. Friday to third week inOrdinary Time. And yes, this is
deacons discussions and drinks.
Season Two, first episode.

(02:12):
Good evening, everybody. Welcomeback Dallas. Are you here?

Dallas Kelley (02:19):
I'm here.

Tim Stout (02:20):
Okay.

Dallas Kelley (02:20):
I'm monitoring or monitoring. Welcome

Tim Stout (02:23):
back to the car dome studio. It's been two months
long break. But we're back foranother Season Season Two and
2021 where we hope everythingthat happened in 2020 never
happens again. I'm Deacon TimStout.

Dallas Kelley (02:37):
I'm diggin Dallas Kelly

Tim Stout (02:39):
and father lens. Not here. lots of reasons for the
break. COVID the holidays. Let'ssee no heat and some of these
buildings over here. cardomom. Ithink last time we were here was
with Mike Allen. We do have someguests with us tonight. We'll
get to them in just a second.
But hey, we're back. We are weare what do you think about

(02:59):
that?

Unknown (03:02):
Oh,

Tim Stout (03:03):
did you miss it? I mean, be honest. You got to be
honest.

Dallas Kelley (03:07):
I did not.

Tim Stout (03:07):
You didn't miss it.
See? See. That's what happenswhen you go every week. But
we're not doing that anymore.

Dallas Kelley (03:12):
That was a nice break it refreshing.

Tim Stout (03:17):
We are looks like we're pausing in and out on on
Facebook. So hopefully that'llstraighten itself out. That's
nothing new debt. Yeah, we'regonna do it every other week, I
think is what we're gonna do.
But just every week is too much.
So twice a month. So on some ofthese longer weeks, we'll, we'll

(03:39):
probably go. You know, maybeskip two weeks at a time or
something like that. But we'llput a schedule out. We'll talk
about this a little bit, the endabout some guests and stuff that
we want major feedback on. ButI'm excited. We're excited to be
back. You're excited to be backto I can tell you're excited. So

(04:01):
if you're excited, I'm excited.
So let's, let's just let's justget right into it. Let's talk
about something that's near anddear to my heart. Because I'm
the grand Knight, the Knights ofColumbus fish fries. So in the
studio today we have two Knightsof Columbus. Columbus is with
us. Brother night, Jeff Crumpand rather night James Drummond,

(04:21):
welcome to the show, gentlemen.
Thank you.

Jeff Crump (04:27):
Thanks for having us.

Tim Stout (04:28):
Yeah, I kind of put you on spur of the moment type
thing, but you know, there'sbeen a lot of work going on with
a fish for as and I know, lastyear. It didn't happen. One, I
think was it one, one to twoweeks, two weeks, two weeks. So
let's just start with somebasic, basic stuff. And that is

(04:50):
Who Who are you people? And whatwas the not what are the Knights
of Columbus if people don't knowwhat they are? Who wants to take
that question?

James Drummond (05:00):
Can I can do that. So I'm James Drummond and
I'm the Deputy grand Knight.
Under Tim here.

Jeff Crump (05:06):
What can

James Drummond (05:09):
I do whatever, Tim,

Tim Stout (05:11):
you're second a second in charge.

James Drummond (05:13):
Right. So anyways, a little bit of
background for the for those whodon't know it the Knights of
Columbus is a is a fraternalorganization in the Catholic
Church, but it's based werebased mainly on unity, charity
and fraternity. And were foundedmainly to care for the families

(05:35):
of the other Knights. So that'sthat's the way it was started.
And, and basically, we we carefor each other and take care of
families and take care of theparish is, is what the Knights
Knights are made, or are arearranged for. That's where it
came from. And that's, that'swhat we still do. So.

Tim Stout (05:51):
And we we do, I think we do a pretty good job with it.
When you say so. You know, howlong have you been a member?
James?

James Drummond (05:58):
Oh, I think it's going on about 16 or 17 years.

Tim Stout (06:02):
And you six years?
Six years? Yeah.

Jeff Crump (06:04):
So fast paced. Six years?

Tim Stout (06:05):
Yeah, you got to be grand knight in six years. So
you get a prize

Jeff Crump (06:09):
for liberty green light for two years and the
green light for two years.

Tim Stout (06:12):
So you're a knight?
You're a knight? I'm a knight.

Jeff Crump (06:15):
Somebody wanting to work over here.

Tim Stout (06:17):
Are you a knight?

Dallas Kelley (06:18):
I am not a knight.

Tim Stout (06:19):
What about Steve, you're not an ideal? Look, you
got two prospects, twoprospects. We're going to not
put any pressure on you untilJuly 1. Just so you know. We
want to get through COVID.
Right. A quick one is that whenCOVID is over July 1, July 1
COVID will officially be overand everything will be back to
normal. Once out. Let's hope soanyway. Yeah. So fish fries.

(06:41):
Biggest fundraiser for our localcouncil? Yes, by far,

Jeff Crump (06:48):
by far, that is our number one.

Tim Stout (06:50):
And how bad Did it hurt at having those last year?
Oh, it hurt me, we

Jeff Crump (06:54):
tried to make the best out of a bad situation
there. You know, our last fishround. We had the fish though.
So we ended up serving to firstresponders and the community so
but we lost out quite a bit ofrevenue. So do good things
without that revenue coming in?

Tim Stout (07:10):
So we're gonna try it this year?

James Drummond (07:13):
Oh, yeah, we're back.

Tim Stout (07:15):
We're back. for Mac they

James Drummond (07:18):
didn't like we got a lot of things that are
different. Trying to, we withthe time off, we tried to come
up with some improvements. And

Tim Stout (07:26):
so what's the biggest, biggest change
location.

James Drummond (07:29):
So we're going to be at cardomom this year. So
the serving, serving the mealsout of Cardo

Tim Stout (07:36):
Cardo. Everybody know where that is? That's where we
have the nice, warm andcomfortable Sunday services. So
for those of people that havebeen coming to church at home,
they know on the front side, where are we going to be serving

Jeff Crump (07:54):
fish and has a good upper parking lot, we're
actually going to have a loop.
Everybody comes to my house,I've seen Larry officer sit
there, as you come in, I have acouple guys there to greet you.
And they'll guide you fromthere.

James Drummond (08:06):
But it'll be all take out this year. I mean,
obviously with COVID. Hopefullyin years in the future, we will
turn it back into having adining room and being able to
eat the fish here and join thecommunity, hopefully next year.

Tim Stout (08:20):
So we'll be like every other fast food restaurant
in Georgetown right now

Dallas Kelley (08:23):
what if they want to grab a chair and sit in the
lawn are they gonna be able todo that? Like,

Jeff Crump (08:28):
I'm not gonna run anybody off the lawn.

Dallas Kelley (08:32):
I don't know, if y'all the setup was gonna be any
parking spots left or

Jeff Crump (08:35):
now we're not really going to accommodate anything.
But if somebody wanted to bethere in the parking lot, I
can't think that we're going torun them off.

Tim Stout (08:43):
So if somebody wanted to sit over in the new Grotto,
sure, they can do what theywant, Share, share a fish
sandwich with Mary,

Jeff Crump (08:49):
that's fine, really cuts down on the fellowship,
which is great about the fishroute. But you know, we're doing
the best we can with thecircumstances we had.

Tim Stout (08:57):
So the fish fry Cardo, draft through, carry out
only draft they're only draft.

Jeff Crump (09:06):
You should be able to roll it in your car and never
get out. Pick up your fish andlaid right back on out.

Tim Stout (09:12):
So will there be some learning curve to this? You
think?

James Drummond (09:15):
Oh, absolutely.
Yeah, we were. We're learning asit goes. So we're trying to
figure out how everything isgoing to fit out here. We're
gonna find out how new processeswork. We're, we're, we got a web
app designed to take the ordersand, and bring things and

Tim Stout (09:31):
so it's 21st century stuff here.

Jeff Crump (09:33):
Oh, yeah.
Everybody's gonna be referred toa website to do their order. How

Tim Stout (09:37):
about that? Is it? Is it? Are you hooked up with
doordash? Or is it

James Drummond (09:42):
but we're hoping it will go a lot smoother or
more smoothly than it has in thepast. So yeah, it's gonna be
nice.

Tim Stout (09:48):
Yeah, because I mean, I think that's been in the past.
That's been one of the biggestcomplaints about the fish fry
was, you know, yeah, you hadthis line that went around the
undercroft up the steps and Ifit was the weather was nice, it
went up steps and out, you know, limited seating inside the
aircraft, you know, maybe what40 people comfortably maybe, if

(10:10):
that. So carry out only, youknow, we got a nice huge place
out here we can queue up a lotof cars obviously serve a lot of
people, how's the how's theordering going to work? What's
is that ordering the date theday of and then just showing up?
Or how's

Jeff Crump (10:29):
that actually you could you could pre order we're
going to have it set up whereyou can pre order during the
week and go ahead and set youryour rough time you want to pick
it up and show up and it'll beready.

Dallas Kelley (10:40):
You can have that, but we'll see how will I
still have to wait in the line?
You know, and in your car? Yeah,

Jeff Crump (10:46):
yeah, we're gonna, we're gonna serve right up here
in the loop, and then turn itright back out. So

Tim Stout (10:51):
so you're gonna come in, you're gonna get you're
gonna get in, you're being lied, you're gonna, if you've ordered,
you'll have an order number.

Jeff Crump (10:58):
When you order online, you'll you'll be given
an order number. And that shouldwalk you right through the line
and the guys greet you there asyou come in. They'll give you
that number, and then the guysup here will be looking for that
number to give you your order.

Dallas Kelley (11:08):
Do you pay online?

Jeff Crump (11:09):
Yes. Or you can pay here. Wow. When you get here,
but it's gonna

Tim Stout (11:14):
be nice. It will work. See, see the Knights got
it going on man.

Jeff Crump (11:18):
Just saying we could use a few good man though.

Tim Stout (11:21):
Yeah, I mean, if you want to join an organization in
the church that's progressive.
Because let's face it, it takesthe church a long time to do
anything.

Dallas Kelley (11:28):
Steve, are you listening?

Tim Stout (11:34):
So online ordering online paying? What could go
wrong with that?

Jeff Crump (11:39):
Well, the system could crash. And we talked
about.

Tim Stout (11:43):
But if that happens, they could still come in. You
can still show up here in orderhere.

Jeff Crump (11:47):
Yeah, and the nice thing up until it did crash,
we'll still have a record. So wecould fill orders that we have
still. And then we could wecould revert back into it the
old fashioned way. We're gonnahave a limited menu this year.
That's gonna make it a littlesimpler. I'm sure some people
will be upset but Gone are thesame in calendar, the baked
potatoes, it's just going to bea large and small fish dinner,
large or small shrimp dinner,

James Drummond (12:08):
at least for this learning curve for this
year for this year. Yeah, let'ssee what happens next year.

Tim Stout (12:13):
So we're not going to have those healthy options.
Correct. But we you are going tobe able to support the knights
and the work that they do andenjoy the same fish that we've
served for the last

Jeff Crump (12:24):
23 years. 22 years, a long time.

Tim Stout (12:27):
If Tom Tom Johnson was here, he'd give us the exact
day. But but so largest smallfish dinners, large and small
shrimp dinners. I don't

Jeff Crump (12:36):
know drinks, right?
We will have drinking we'll havedrinks, no desserts, but we'll
have drinks.

James Drummond (12:41):
And those dinners have fries.

Jeff Crump (12:43):
alcoholic drinks.

Tim Stout (12:46):
Maybe next year working. Maybe next year,

James Drummond (12:49):
we had a problem out in the cars.

Tim Stout (12:53):
Yeah, that doesn't go well together, does it?

James Drummond (12:55):
Not really?

Tim Stout (12:56):
So have you ever thought about cooking fish to
house because you know, we doneed

Dallas Kelley (13:02):
and I cook it was just not for the night.

Tim Stout (13:07):
So we got a new location. We got a different
menu. We got a new orderingsystem. And all we need is
people.

Jeff Crump (13:15):
That's right. So we need customers and we need
helpers.

Tim Stout (13:18):
When's the when's the first fish for

Jeff Crump (13:21):
first run is going to be February 19. We're gonna
open that up to the parish. Andthen the week after that. We're
gonna open it up to thecommunity at large.

Tim Stout (13:30):
Is that the first Friday let it is the first
Friday. So we're just going Ihope I'm right. I'm looking once
Ash Wednesday, because we'regonna talk about Ash Wednesday,
a little later on the show. Sohe's got his calendar out what
we'll double check out February.
That sounds

Jeff Crump (13:50):
right. I would trust but verify.

Dallas Kelley (13:55):
There's worry 17th is Ash Wednesday.

Tim Stout (13:57):
So February 19 will be first Friday. So give up your
healthy eating give up your yourbaked salmon and partake in in
frat fried fish and friedshrimp,

Jeff Crump (14:10):
both of them by us but it really is quality for
fish. I like that it's

James Drummond (14:13):
good. And it's good value. What

Tim Stout (14:15):
about the pricing pricing stays the same as it was
last year

Jeff Crump (14:18):
changes $7 still on the adult large meals the small
meal is going to be $5 a littlebit of increase. They're

Tim Stout (14:26):
still one of the best values. I think actually I heard
a message earlier today thatFrankfort Knights of Columbus
are not having their fish fries.
Correct. So if you know somebodyin Frankfort that's used to go
into French fish fry. And theywant to get their fix. Come here
right there. The thing we gotgoing for us too is long john
Silver's is out of business.

Jeff Crump (14:46):
Correct. We are the friends.

Dallas Kelley (14:50):
That was my go to long

Tim Stout (14:54):
gone but not forgotten. So now we get all the
business from long john Silver'sall those capitals There are a
lot of non Catholics doing thisstuff. So open to the open to
the parish. You're onlyadvertising to

Jeff Crump (15:09):
the British. Yeah, we're not gonna turn anybody
away. But we're gonna kind ofour advertising campaign will be
a little more targeted thatfirst week.

Tim Stout (15:15):
First week. Yeah. And if it goes well, then we want
to, we want to we got the lastround of makeup. Yes,

Jeff Crump (15:21):
yeah, we're, we will be ready to put out signs on
Saturday morning.

James Drummond (15:24):
But we're working towards that learning
curve with firstly. So

Tim Stout (15:28):
what else do we need to know?

Jeff Crump (15:30):
I think I can't think of anything else.

James Drummond (15:33):
I just think come out and grab some good
food.

Jeff Crump (15:36):
And if you're interested in the Knights of
Columbus course, you know, itwas gonna help you out there and
give you some information.

James Drummond (15:41):
Absolutely. A lot of good. Got a good work a
lot of good charity.

Tim Stout (15:44):
Let's talk about that just for a second, because we're
gonna move on kind of fast here.
But let's just talk about what'schanged and the Knights of
Columbus with joining theKnights of Columbus. Do you want
to answer them?

Unknown (15:58):
Sure, go ahead. Sure.

Tim Stout (16:00):
Who wants to answer that I

Jeff Crump (16:01):
don't care change quite a bit. Especially with
COVID narrow links not online.
But the whole ceremony hasactually changed used to be when
you join the Knights ofColumbus, it was kind of a
secretive thing outside. Yeah, you know, you weren't supposed
to really talk about whathappened during your initiation.
All you ladies listening tothis. So now they have opened it
up and made it more of a familyevent. And like, they kind of

(16:24):
have it after mass and havefamilies there. And everybody
watch. So it's really opened upmore of a family atmosphere?

Tim Stout (16:33):
We we haven't done that yet. Because,

James Drummond (16:35):
yeah, basically it opened opened up to this idea
or this this way of doing itright, when everything was shut
down. So we've not been able todo one of those opportunities
yet. But there's also theopportunity to join online
become an online member, it's

Tim Stout (16:50):
your son, your son did that?

James Drummond (16:51):
I think Yes, Yes, he did.

Tim Stout (16:54):
It's pretty seamless.
So if you're a very privateperson, Dallas, I don't like to,
you know, don't want to be amember of a secret society,
which we weren't a secretsociety. Just our ceremonials
were secret, correct. You know, you can do it online, you can
join the, you know, if you wantto, if you don't like us here,
you could always join thecrested King Council.

Jeff Crump (17:17):
You could do it sitting right there, if you got
bored, while you're sittingright there.

James Drummond (17:20):
Okay. And actually, the online ceremony is
really pretty nice. It getsacross a lot of the a lot of the
points that the other one did,and it's, it's nice to see.

Tim Stout (17:30):
Well, and I'm excited about, you know, I said July 1,
July 1 is kind of the, for thoselistening, it's the fiscal year
for the Knights of Columbus,it's the start of the year. And
because the COVID and because ofsome other housekeeping stuff
that we've done, you know, wedon't, we don't have a huge push
to get a lot of new folksbecause we're not meeting with

(17:51):
people, right, we're notinteracting, like we we normally
would, we're just not seeingthem at Mass, we're not seeing
Oh, but other social events thatare in the either in the parish
or in the community. There's,it's really kind of hampered our
recruiting efforts. And so Ithink we need to focus towards
July one and I really would liketo see is you know, get five or

(18:14):
six good guys which two of themare right, here you go. But if
we could get five or six guysand do one of our do our first
first degree, actually do allthree of them now right or
second third. Or you could do itafter mass right in front of car
dome, right? Sunday afternoon,

James Drummond (18:30):
and it'd be really really nice once once you
bring them in to be able to dostuff with them if we just try
and bring anybody in this yearhas been you bring him in and
then you don't see him.

Tim Stout (18:39):
So nobody wants to be a part of an organization that
you join and then you never doanything with anything.

Jeff Crump (18:44):
But again there's no pressure either if you don't
have time, I mean you're notpushed to do anything you can do
what you can do and

Dallas Kelley (18:53):
I will you keep looking over here.

Tim Stout (18:55):
Well, people can see me looking at you they can't see
me looking at Steve it justlooks like I'm looking at the
camera. Hey Steve

Jeff Crump (19:04):
Dallas you know you could stop all this right?

Dallas Kelley (19:06):
Yeah, no,

Tim Stout (19:08):
I think I think I have a form 100 in my bag. But
you can fill that out online yougo the Knights of Columbus. I
think join click on the Joinbutton. And you know, you get to
be a part of your community justin a different way. Really. I
mean, you know, you know, youprobably know most of the
Knights you know the active onesI'm sure I don't think I know

(19:30):
them all. There's 160 roughlyYeah, and and you know more than
I do because of the school sideof it some of the school fairly
people I don't know. You know, alot of the new guys because they
came in under your watch or whenI was taking a little bit of a
break from my last time aroundis great night. But, you know,

(19:53):
it's it's a it's a good way ifyou're new to the parish or if
you're unsure about how togetting involved or engaged in
something, you know, the worshipcommittee is not your thing,
formation is not your thing, youcan become a member of the
Knights of Columbus. And ifyou'd like to stand around and
cook fish and drink beer, you'rein

Jeff Crump (20:15):
the right place to be

Tim Stout (20:16):
right. We have all kinds of other events that we
do. We were obviously helpingsupport the non local pregnancy
Center Drive that has beenhappening that Scott Carter has
been in charge of the last fewmonths. We've done a habitat
build before in the past

Jeff Crump (20:30):
to actually roll drove we do yearly. There's a
lot of good things we do

James Drummond (20:34):
request farm and

Tim Stout (20:36):
so that, you know, there's there's a lot of things
that we do that, in and bythemselves is is not special.
But it's supports people, itsupports organizations. And it
really builds a fraternity thatisn't possible, just in your
normal Parish, because it's thestructure. It's the

(20:57):
organization. And a lot ofpeople just think that hey, is
that like a cousin Lowell? Idon't know when you're home
parish. Did you have Knights ofColumbus in your home parish?

Dallas Kelley (21:04):
I can't remember that. That was a long time ago.

Tim Stout (21:07):
Yeah, we did.

Dallas Kelley (21:09):
I don't ever remember anybody talking about
him.

Tim Stout (21:11):
I remember having a men's club Did you have a men's
club? Because my dad will go andplay poker at the men's club.
And I mean, that's, that's whatthe men's club did was talk
about stuff and drink beer andplay poker, you know? So I never
knew anything about the Knights,Columbus, Tom moved up here and
a guy. David Rivera asked me tojoin the Knights of Columbus,
ah, he's fixing my aircondition. I said, What's that?

(21:35):
So that was 20 years ago. And soI've been in height for the last
20 years. And I don't regret itat all. Got a lot of what I
consider to be lifelong friends, present company included. And,
you know, we help each other. Soit's a good good organization.
If you're thinking about it canbe a

Jeff Crump (21:54):
good way to get some insurance products.

Tim Stout (21:57):
We do. So it is one of the most healthiest insurance
companies in the country. One ofthe highest rated Yeah, just a
five plus five, a plus plusplus, are

Dallas Kelley (22:09):
you talking about, say a few things,
something

Jeff Crump (22:10):
like life insurance packages. When you become a
member of the Knights ofColumbus, you get access to the
Knights of Columbus lifeinsurance and insurance
policies, which Knights ofColumbus is a huge insurance
insurance organization, and verycompetitive pricing.

Tim Stout (22:24):
So they got a whole life and they've got Term Life
both they've got annuity, they've they've got all kinds of
financial products, financialadvisors that help you you know,
so I've got, when I joined, Igot an insurance policy on each
one of my kids a whole lifepolicy. So maybe sometime in the
future, you know, when I'm longgone, they'll build a cash that

(22:45):
policy and and it'll be worth,so $10,000 phase policy, but it
probably be worth, you know, five or six times that when they
get to be retirement age orsomething like that. So that's
whole life. And, you know, it'snot requirement. But today,

James Drummond (23:00):
I'm really, I really find it interesting. The
the fact that that that growsout of the, the the founding of
the of the organization, andthat it was founded to take care
of the widows after after thenight it had passed away. And it
grew into the insurance. So Imean, I think that's a really
interesting part of the wholestory.

Tim Stout (23:18):
Yeah, man, it's service, right? I mean, it's
service at its core. You know, alot of times we don't like
that's a great point, James, wedon't like to think of it
insurance as a service, but itis it provides a service that's
needed when somebody securitydies, or passes away, if you're
a veteran, you get extrabenefits on that side of it. If
you're active or retired, eitherone. So it's, it's a, I mean,

(23:39):
it's a great organization,

James Drummond (23:40):
it really is it is, in many ways, so

Jeff Crump (23:43):
not demanding. It's there when you want it when you
need it.

Tim Stout (23:47):
Yeah, if you want to give 10 minutes a year, we'll
take it. If you want to give 10hours a week, we'll take it. So
there's always something to bedone. There's always a need. And
we need people because one ofthe things that I think that we
have trouble with sometimes isnew ideas are generated. Hey,
let's go do this. And findsomebody to lead that effort.

(24:11):
That's where we need that freshblood fresh blood, fresh people
to come in to to lead thosethings. Say typically we have a
good time with everything we do.
We do. I mean, I don't I don'treally remember having bad
events. We know we've we've donesome some some crazy stuff. You
know, we've we've, we've servedfood at the rodeo. That was that
was that was that was some? Thatwas some good times.

James Drummond (24:37):
Double staining that will stink Hog Farm.

Tim Stout (24:40):
We did some stuff at the legends. We did concessions
at the legends thing. A lot oftimes people think man, that's
gotta suck. It's not it's fun.
You know, it's it's being withyour, your brothers, who you who
you can relate to. And, youknow, we don't have this, you
know, like so much in thiscountry where we had this
political stuff. that separatespeople. When you talk about

(25:01):
being in the Knights ofColumbus, what brings you
together is your faith. Right?
And, you know, we have liberalsand we have conservatives and
Saturday nights clubs, but thatnever comes into play. We we
have a basis in our faith. It'swhat unites us, morals, ethics,
all those things are common.
And, you know, it's what bindsus together as brothers. So, you

(25:21):
got any questions about thisorganization? Dallas, you know,
do the listeners have anyquestions? Oh, I

Dallas Kelley (25:29):
don't have any questions right at the moment.

Tim Stout (25:32):
How about you, Steve, do you have any questions about
the Knights of Columbus?

Dallas Kelley (25:36):
Do you need the online information state?

Tim Stout (25:40):
Just Google Knights of Columbus, enter, and oh,
you'll be amazed at what youfind. So you'll be taken care of
so okay, of sea.

Jeff Crump (25:51):
org.

Tim Stout (25:51):
There you go. KFC.
How to work. And if you become afourth degree, you get a sword

Jeff Crump (25:58):
that you have to pay for.

Tim Stout (26:02):
You get you get a sword used to be you got these
feather hats. They've done awaywith the feather hats now.
That's so so cool. Organization.
Oh, old school stuff. They're soWell, guys, I really appreciate
you coming on talking to usabout the fish fries.

Jeff Crump (26:20):
Friday nights, five to seven,

James Drummond (26:22):
five to seven every Friday inland.

Tim Stout (26:24):
So we'll be at least broadcasting a couple of those
Fridays little later than I willyou save us some fish.

Jeff Crump (26:32):
We'll bring some samples.

Tim Stout (26:33):
There you go. Hey, maybe maybe I was looking

Dallas Kelley (26:37):
forward to the night. I thought

Jeff Crump (26:42):
we did a dry run with no fish.

Tim Stout (26:46):
So very if Dallas was to catch some fish between now
and then like some crappy youall could fry the horse.
Absolutely. There you godownstairs, your your homework
if you take if you take it.
Let's let's get some crappy inhere. All right. Well, James,
Jeff, we appreciate you comingand Friday nights and let
everybody's invited out toCardona. Watch the bulletin for

(27:08):
Facebook and bearish email andthe email,

Jeff Crump (27:14):
wash your signage around town.

Tim Stout (27:16):
And if you have any questions about it, ask ask a
brother night and if you can'tget ahold of a brother night,
ask one of us. We'll be morethan happy to help you. So as we
make the slight transition here,we're gonna go to Saturday But
James, Jeff, thanks again forcoming in. Thanks for having us.
Say end of the day. You ready,Steve? All right, here we go.
This is Franciscan media's saintof the day for January 29. Today

(27:38):
we celebrate servant of Godbrother Juniper. Not much is
known about Juniper before hejoined the Franciscans in the
year 2010. a contemporary of St.
Francis known for hissimplicity. He was likewise
known for his holiness, and thenthere was his exasperating
generosity. Once he was caringfor a sick man who told Juniper

(27:59):
he was craving to eat pig'sfeet. So the helpful fryer went
to a nearby field, captured apig, cut off one of his feet,
prepared the meal and served itto the sick man. The owner of
the pig was furious, andimmediately went to Juniper
superior. When Juniper saw hismistake, he apologized

(28:20):
profusely. He also ended uptalking the owner of the pig
into donating the rest of thepig to the friars. We can laugh
at such a story and dismissJuniper is nothing more than a
character but to St. Francishimself. And to his followers.
Juniper was a man who knew thetruth about God himself and

(28:40):
others. Juniper had one desire,St. Francis said, to follow
Christ on the way of the cross.
There's more about the saintsalong with inspiration and
Catholic resources at ourwebsite. Saint of the day.org.
From Franciscan media. This hasbeen st at the day. We back Hey,

(29:05):
we're back. We're back. Are youover there?

Dallas Kelley (29:09):
I'm over here. Is

Unknown (29:10):
your mic working?

Dallas Kelley (29:11):
my mic is working.

Tim Stout (29:14):
So that's the Knights of Columbus. Well, you think
about that. You've been on ourlist for quite a while. 234 or
five years?

Dallas Kelley (29:28):
Yeah, that's probably the 20th time no
pressure has been put on me tojoin the night.

Tim Stout (29:37):
Well, here's the way I look at it. You have to become
a knight of Columbus. I mean,it's no skiffs in Columbus.

Dallas Kelley (29:45):
It's not. It's not a sin not to be part of the
Knights of Deacon john

Tim Stout (29:50):
is a knight of Columbus.

Dallas Kelley (29:51):
Steve. Are you part of the Knights of Columbus?
No, he's shaking his head. No,

Tim Stout (29:55):
but he wants to be a part. He's thinking about it
over there. He's thinking hewants to life insurance. Cuz
he's been falling a few times.
Yeah, and says, I want to getsome extra life insurance on
here. So

Dallas Kelley (30:09):
yeah, people went mad do not see the behind the
scenes stuff going on. BB Bishoptook a tumble a few months back
and then Steve is taken totumbles and three,

Tim Stout (30:23):
three. Did you know that the bishopville? Steve?
Yeah. So yeah, it's we should begetting hazardous duty pay, they
should double our pay when we'reup there. Well, I

Dallas Kelley (30:33):
got told file early and you could quadruple my
pay and four times zero is zero.

Tim Stout (30:40):
So that's a good way to kind of talk a little bit
about Christmas. For those ofyou that were there, it's kind
of one of the things I want totalk about, you know, we're out
here cardomom. Christmas Evemass, was at college, no land,
it's

Dallas Kelley (30:57):
known.

Tim Stout (30:59):
It was code. I'm sure Steve's gonna put some still
pictures up of some of what wasgoing on. And I looked at some
of those pictures. Steven, therewas a picture of me. I think we
were it was at the great Amen.
uphold the child's father. Andso the, the Jesus, and I've got
my gloves on. And on, I've gotmy mask up over my face. And you

(31:22):
can see my glasses sticking out.
It was cold, but it was nice. Itwas a good service.

Unknown (31:29):
Yes.

Tim Stout (31:31):
That that I would not rather have been in a church
because I would have, right. Butfor what we've got going on, it
was it was nice.

Dallas Kelley (31:38):
Only one of these times we're gonna get a zero
degree, you know?

Tim Stout (31:45):
So it's been cold the last few times.

Dallas Kelley (31:47):
I know. And then we get when we hand out
communion. Man, your hands arejust kidding. I'll pick the
communion.

Tim Stout (31:56):
Just to reminder to folks, we cannot wear gloves
when we give out communion andyou are not supposed to be
wearing gloves either. I do havesome people that come through my
line that that have their gloveson. You know, we're we're not
supposed to give you communionwhen you have gloves on. So
please try to remember to takeyour gloves off if you can.
We're obviously not going torefuse anybody but help us kind

(32:19):
of follow the rules if possible.
So it's it's it's cold, it'sbeen cold. It snowed on us last
week, right to last coupleweeks, we've kind of had a
little snow. This week, I thinkwe're gonna have rain. We're
looking forward to spring andspring is always kind of the
culmination of lint, right?

(32:40):
Easter. So we're gonna be outhere at Carter home for lunch.
We don't know what the scheduleis yet.

Dallas Kelley (32:46):
No, I texted fatherland A while ago, and he
hasn't come up with a where anda time.

Tim Stout (32:55):
But we are going to have an ash wednesday service.
So we just don't know what timewere in a time. And the house of
worship, under the guidance ofthe US CCB. And our Bishop have
made a decision about how that'sgoing to happen. How ashes are

(33:15):
going to be distributed? Do youwant to talk about that? Or?

Dallas Kelley (33:19):
Well, and we are not allowed to make the cross?
Well, I wish I would have keptthat. Do

Tim Stout (33:23):
you have the I think I do. Have it. Keep going. Yeah,
so so you're not we're notallowed to touch

Unknown (33:29):
your forehead forehead.

Tim Stout (33:33):
Which may sound crazy to be you know, so

Dallas Kelley (33:35):
I think if I read it, remember reading it in the
in the the phrase we say when weput you know, there's two
different phrases you can say,you know, like repent and

Tim Stout (33:45):
repent and believe in the Gospel, or remember that you
are dust into dust

Dallas Kelley (33:50):
you shall return.
I think that's going to be said,as a whole one time, you know?
Yeah, so

Tim Stout (33:55):
the priest or the are you looking at it now I am, or
the celebrant, whether that's adeacon. But again, we don't know
what the what the time is, orhow that will be transpired just
yet. But the the, let's assumeit's gonna be following that he
will say the formula as it's inpairs in a row and missile, one

(34:18):
of those two forms. And then thepriests will then wash his
hands, put on a face mask anddistribute the ashes to those
who come to him. Or ifappropriate, he goes to them if
they're standing in certainplaces, the priest or the
distributor takes the ashes andsprinkles them on the head of

(34:40):
each one without sayinganything. So it's basically a
dry sprinkling right on the topof your head.

Dallas Kelley (34:48):
So we won't be adding water to the cheer the

Tim Stout (34:52):
way it sounds, which is good because if it was out of
your card, oh, they wouldprobably freeze so there's not
Going to be you're not going tohave this. This the side, I
think a lot of people lovewalking around to the course of
the day, not a better testimonyto our faith, I think, than Ash

(35:13):
Wednesday walk around with theash and cross on your forehead
and people saying,

Dallas Kelley (35:18):
What's that?

Tim Stout (35:19):
What is that?

Dallas Kelley (35:20):
You got a little dirt on? exact now this isn't in
the protocol or anything, but Icould see myself, you know,
reaching up and touching theashes and making the cross on my
forehead myself, you know?

Tim Stout (35:33):
Yeah. You know, it's

Dallas Kelley (35:35):
that love to see the crosses on the forehand.

Tim Stout (35:38):
It is. I think it's To me, it's kind of a
combination of our faith. It's away for us to live our take our
faith out into the workplace totake our faith out into the
public. You know, so it's, Iwon't say it's impossible to do.
There's no other symbol that wehave that does that, right, we

(35:58):
receive Communion, but peoplecan't see that. They should be
able to see the way we act, theway we treat others, all those
things. But this Ash Wednesdayservice, one of the most
attended service, attendance wasthe largest service outside of
Christian Christmas and Easter.
So

Dallas Kelley (36:16):
I think Well, I'd even say more. Yeah, I remember
service at St. John's many yearsago, I showed up. It was way
before ordination, everything.
Church was packed standing roomonly vegetables, it was packed,
stairs were packed. There wasprobably 50 to 60 on the
sidewalk out front.

Tim Stout (36:38):
Then we moved it right. Then we had a john Hill
chapel. And we still had severalservices at St. JOHN church, as
well. So you know, I think, youknow, hopefully, the weather
will be decent on Ash Wednesday, and we could have a massive
crowd out out, I'm assumingwe're gonna do it here. carto
will have a massive crowdoutside in front of Cardo. To

(37:00):
demonstrate our faith, eventhough we won't be walking away
with a with a ashen cross on ourforehead. So COVID thank God for
COVID as follows one would say,a lot of good things come out of
it.

Dallas Kelley (37:16):
A lot of bad too.

Tim Stout (37:17):
He keeps he keeps trying to look at the positive
side of it. And I appreciatethat. I think that's, that's
true. In that same vein, youknow, another big part of the
Lenten journey is RCI. And Idon't know if you saw that email
today from the, from the Officeof Well, actually, I

Dallas Kelley (37:37):
got it, but I haven't read it yet.

Tim Stout (37:40):
You know, they haven't decided on all the
scrutinies and all that stuff.
But all that stuff will bechanged like it was last year.
So we've gone a full year,right? We've, we're we're
getting really close to be in

Dallas Kelley (37:51):
here of this.

Tim Stout (37:54):
I can't remember when our first show was last year,
you were in your car, youremember that? You were in your,
your tow truck. You in your owntruck. I was at my desk at my
house and we said hey, let'slet's go on Facebook Live and

Dallas Kelley (38:08):
see what happens.
Yeah. So it was gonna take somegetting used to when we get back
to my normal, maybe no one theyou know, and we have servers
again and everything, you know, because right now we're doing
everything, you know, gettingback to knowing what to do and
when to do it. It's gonna feelreally odd.

Tim Stout (38:28):
It'll feel really odd, but it'll feel really good
too. Right? I mean, that's, Ithink we're all looking forward
to that. I think we're alllooking forward to return to
normalcy. A lot of questionsthat I've gotten lately. You
know, and because a lot of mynews sources are from the church
and stuff up sometimes I'msurprised when people ask these
questions, but the vaccine isthe vaccine approved by the

(38:50):
church. Can we get the vaccine?
A lot of conversation aboutthat. What's the answer?

Dallas Kelley (38:58):
Well, with the three most popular two of them
you can one of them you can't dowhich one you can't

Tim Stout (39:05):
AstraZeneca you look that up the boulder mark, the
Madonna. What's the name ofthose stadiums? What's the name
of those vaccines are the twomost popular ones. The ones that
are everybody's using right noware a Okay, USC CB says it's
okay. And if you're one of thosepeople that says I don't trust

(39:27):
what the USC CB says, thenyou're in the wrong church. You
and I had this conversation theother day, remember this? I get
so frustrated. You know, I knowpeople don't agree with what the
Pope says all the time. I knowthat people don't agree with
what the bishop says or eventheir pastor says. But that
hierarchy is what makes theCatholic Church the Catholic

(39:47):
Church. Without it, we're notthe Catholic Church. Right. All
right, that's, that's what givesus a difference than all the
other face. And I know you canget frustrated with with, you
know, not agreeing 100% withwhat somebody says, whether
that's a priest, a bishop or apope. But we talk about matters

(40:11):
of faith. Half, you have tobelieve

Dallas Kelley (40:16):
it, but it's not well, the way you worded it let
me the the Conference ofCatholic bishops, they could be
wrong. It's not infallible.
Okay. But do you like do you arecovered, the authority of the
church is spoken. And if you'retrying to decide what to do, and
the authority Church has spoken, then there there's, there's no
sin, if you decide to get thevaccine, don't worry about it.

(40:40):
You know, you're covered, so tospeak. Now, you may still not
decide to get the vaccine, ifthat's what you choose, that's
what you choose. But there's nosin if the authority of the
church has said, so.

Tim Stout (40:53):
Thanks for clarifying that. Because that's, that's
what I meant. Yeah. Do I thinkthat everything that that a
priest, a bishop or a Pope saysis infallible? Absolutely not.
Right. The Pope, in the historyof the Pope has always spoke
from the terroir twice. So, youknow, he does speak infallibly
in other ways. And that'stypically through the
magisterium.

Dallas Kelley (41:13):
And we can have a whole show on that, that that'd
be fun. But every time hedeclares someone to say any
spoken valve, it is that theyare in heaven infallibly.

Tim Stout (41:23):
So, you know, it's, I know, we get, we get frustrated,
we live in a very politicalworld. It's one of the things I
had on the list to talk about, you know, we, we live in a world
where if Person A believessomething, and they're a
different political party, thanI'm not gonna believe it. We've
got to stop that. And I think westopped that in our faith. It

(41:45):
did happen. Well, it happenedthis week. You know, there was
one thing that happened thisweek, and we call this current
events. There's one thing thathappened this week that united,
the left and the right, do youknow, that was?

Dallas Kelley (41:59):
Something happened? No.

Tim Stout (42:05):
Have you ever heard of Robin Hood?

Dallas Kelley (42:07):
Part of Robin?
Have you heard of GameStopGameStop.

Tim Stout (42:11):
So the stock story right.

Dallas Kelley (42:13):
So while the stock soared, but

Tim Stout (42:15):
right, the stock soared because a group of real
retail investors drove the stockup to try to penalize the people
that shorted the stock. Thebottom line is the people that
shorted the stock lost a lot ofmoney. Billions,

Dallas Kelley (42:34):
I don't understand.

Tim Stout (42:36):
I'm sorry. But it is a little bit more complicated
than just buying and sellingstock stocks. But needless to
say, these big investment bankslost a lot of money,
specifically a couple of them.
And Robin Hood, which there's nocoincidences in life, right,
Robin Hood, put the name oftheir app as Robin Hood for a
reason. What is Robin Hood fatefrom the rich and give to the

(43:00):
poor? So you know, that's kindof their premise was to open up
investing at no price. So if youwanted to trade stocks, as an
amateur retail investor, youcould do it at no cost, you can
make trades with zero fees. Andyou know, what they basically
did, as part of this wholecontroversy, they actually shut

(43:23):
shut off the ability to, to buyGameStop face at gamestop. It's
one of those companies kind ofanother one they were doing with
multiple companies they weredoing with GameStop they were
doing it with AMC, which owns abunch of movie theaters. Both of
those stocks crashing rightthere, the business models are

(43:43):
been killed by, you know, technology or COVID. The movie
theaters has been killed byCOVID game stops models been
been destroyed by the ability todownload games, right? You don't
have to go buy games in a storeanymore. You can just download
it and play. So, you know, it'sit's a

Dallas Kelley (44:02):
show what they did. It wasn't illegal.

Tim Stout (44:05):
I think we're gonna find that out. That's what the
left and the right, right, theystopped. They stopped the
ability to buy the stock. Andthere's some reasons why you
know, the companies come out andsaid why they why they've done
that but in the in the interim,a OC who is about as far left as
you can get. Alexandria ocasioCortez and Ted Cruz who is about

(44:28):
as far right as you can get.
They agreed on something

Dallas Kelley (44:32):
that it shouldn't have had that they shouldn't
they should not have stopped trythat when I first heard GameStop
soar did like three it was Idon't know what it is $307 You
know, it was like 19 a week agoor whatever it was. I forget
what it was. But I rememberthinking I've been at gamestop
like four times with my kidswhen they were a little younger.

(44:52):
We were the only ones in there.
How the heck could that be worthanything in GameStop you know,

Tim Stout (45:00):
Well, you know, it's it's a business, right? And you
know, free market is supposed todictate what the company's value
is. And either people are comingin spending money in the stores
or not. And what happened inthis case is the Internet
through a website app calledReddit. And some amateur

(45:21):
investors took control and drovethe price up, which is, you
know, interesting. There'll beI'm sure, there'll be a lot of
books written about it. And I'msure there will be a lot of
lawsuits about it. So it'll beinteresting to see how it all
kind of plays out. I didn'tfollow it today might have been
some more changes that have beeninvolved today. But

Dallas Kelley (45:38):
well, stock market dropped today. So 607
points again.

Tim Stout (45:43):
But when you when you find issues that unite the left
and the right, those are thethings we need to focus on. We
had to find more ways to dothat. We have to find more ways
to do that inside our church. IfIf you've been following the
Catholic Catholic news sphere, these last few days last week
after the from the election, even inside the US CCB. Inside

(46:07):
the Catholic Church, there isthis. I'll call it a fight. I
don't know what what's up. Idon't know if there's a better
word than that controversy,

Dallas Kelley (46:15):
fight disagreement.

Tim Stout (46:17):
You know, the, after President Biden was inaugurated,
the US CCB put out a pretty Iwon't say harsh, but a pretty
heavy press release, you know,on his position on abortion. And

Dallas Kelley (46:33):
I liked it.

Tim Stout (46:36):
I mean, it was truth.
It, but some other bishops tookissue with it. And thought that
it was a little fast should

Dallas Kelley (46:46):
have went about it a different way. Right. They
want to say

Tim Stout (46:49):
I didn't hear anybody say that they didn't agree with
what the words that werewritten. There wasn't any of
that it was simply a fact of,hey, this guy just got
inaugurated, maybe we shouldhave waited to the next year, or
something along those lines, ormaybe you should give the guy a
little bit of a chance to givegive somebody a chance to

(47:12):
establish what they're gonna do.
Although we all think we knowwhat he's gonna do from day one.
And he's done it. Right. And Ithink that's one of the one of
the hard parts for, forCatholics today is you have a
Catholic in the white house now.
And right or wrong, there are alot of Catholics that abortion
is is a single focus issue forthem. That's how they vote.

(47:37):
There's a lot of people thatdisagree with it. There's a lot
of Catholics that disagree withit, that there's a lot of
Catholic Bishops that disagreewith that. And, and so you've
got this, this, this back andforth inside the church. And
just like we have it inside ourcountry, inside our families
inside our states, communities, all that. And there's no end in

(48:00):
sight is there?

Dallas Kelley (48:03):
No, there isn't.

Tim Stout (48:07):
So when you get 50% of the people that like
something and 50% of the peoplethat hate something, my
philosophy is that it must notbe that bad. Right? If it's, if
you got 50% of people, like 50%of people that don't like it,
okay, so you move the needlejust a little bit, one way or
the other, might make themhappy. But when you got

(48:30):
something, when you got anissue, that's 60, or 70% of the
people don't like it, it's goodto change. And I firmly believe
that, and you know, the countrythat we live in, has a lot of
problems has a lot of issues.
But there's still a lot of goodthat goes on here. There's still
a lot of good that goes on inour church. And we have to, we

(48:51):
have to focus on that. Look, look for the people that do
good, look for the light, worktowards that. And try to find
common ground where you canagree with people and quit
focusing on the disagreements.
Not going to convince anybody onFacebook that you're right. Let

(49:12):
me prove it to you. You

Dallas Kelley (49:14):
know, I've seen it myself. And I never I never
comment on anything. I've I'vestopped watching the news. I'm
so tired of it, you know, andnot just the political stuff,
which is a big part. But theCOVID stuff, too. It's all
wearing on people. So I just Ijust stopped I stopped. When I

(49:38):
think I was watching the news. Iwatch the news and along. I'll
turn it over when I know theweather is coming on and see
what's going to happen Sundaymorning. See how I need to dress

Tim Stout (49:49):
you know, the funny thing is, is that that we do
that, but it's not gonna changeanything for us, right? We're
still gonna be out there andwe're still gonna be code and we
don't agree with it. Right? WeWe'd rather be in a daggone.
Church. Yeah.

Dallas Kelley (50:03):
So fatherland number is 48125985912345678.

Tim Stout (50:10):
That's 859.

Dallas Kelley (50:11):
What we do when the weather is mainly to
determine whether Steve'scameras are a way on the outside
or underneath the awning, youknow,

Tim Stout (50:19):
covered in a plastic bag.

Dallas Kelley (50:22):
I mean, just music don't have to worry about
it. They're,

Tim Stout (50:24):
they're dry and warm.
That was the best. That was thebest decision we made right at
the beginning was getting themusic people and stuff here
lately, I kind of like oursetup. You know, if Steve had a
few more camera operators, hecould stay nice and comfortably
warm inside. And we could bag upa couple of cameras if we had
good camera operators out thereto zoom and tilt pan and all
that stuff. So if you're a goodcamera operator, come see Steve,

(50:46):
he'll love to talk to you.

Dallas Kelley (50:49):
So I mean, depending on how much longer
we're going to be on the frontsteps might want to invest in a
little bit better awning. Imean, it's doing adequate, you
know, but we could extend it oneach side and out somehow.

Tim Stout (51:06):
You know, today was the march for life. Virtual
virtual. There was a Tim Tebow.
Have you heard this story?

Dallas Kelley (51:18):
No. I seen a Tim Tebow headline. But I didn't get
to read it.

Tim Stout (51:22):
Great story. I wish I wish we had the actual clip of
him that we could play but I'llsummarize it here he he told the
story of a missionary in thePhilippines who asked his wife
to have a fifth child. And theyare missionary obviously. So God
and faith was a big part oftheir lives. And he's a guy
putting in both of their heartsto pursue another baby. He said

(51:42):
the family started to pray foranother baby to come into their
lives. The woman then gotpregnant and it was not an easy
pregnancy. He said it was firstbelieved that the baby was a
tumor. And then it was realizedthe woman was pregnant. And so
you know the woman's going andthey're telling her you need to
have an abortion. You need toget rid of it. But the woman

(52:06):
said that she's gonna put hertrust in God. She was missionary
obviously, obviously, her faithwas important, as I said, and
she was such good put her trustin God in the face of potential
peril and possibly even death.
They said, so tough pregnancy, many setbacks, heartaches, but
the whole time she continued tofocus and trusting God. Then it
came time to give birth and adoctor who had been doing it for

(52:28):
over 35 years. This was aspecialty helping women give
birth, and he helped deliver thebaby. And in over 35 years of
doing it, he looked at her andhe said, out of all my years,
this is the greatest miracle Ihave ever seen. Because I have
no idea how your baby survived.

(52:50):
The placenta is not attached.
There are so many differentissues. And I don't know how he
had the nourishment and the foodto be able to survive. This is a
miracle baby. He took the babyin his hands. And he said, Here
is your baby. Mrs. TiVo. Andthat day, Tim got to meet his

(53:11):
mom. So really, a

Dallas Kelley (53:17):
future has been trophy wager has been

Tim Stout (53:19):
trophy and a guy that that loses faith.

Dallas Kelley (53:22):
Absolutely. You know,

Tim Stout (53:24):
and he talks he talked about it as soon as this
interview that you know, he'sobviously had success, whether
that's on the field or whetherit's in the broadcast booth or

Dallas Kelley (53:34):
and the first kneeler and football games.

Tim Stout (53:37):
He was the first but

Dallas Kelley (53:38):
let's don't talk I don't want to. As far as we're
gonna go with it.

Tim Stout (53:41):
It wasn't allowed.
Right. But, you know, he saysnone of that's important now
that his faith is the mostimportant thing, all that stuff.
He says his trophy so rust awayand nothing. But if he can bring
one person that God, then hewill have accomplished something
that will last beyond hislifetime. So, you know, a great
message for the march for life.

(54:03):
A great message about faith anda great testament from a guy
who's famous, right, he's infront of the cameras. Just a
good guy. I didn't like him whenhe was playing for Florida.
Could standee

Dallas Kelley (54:19):
Florida he was pretty good.

Tim Stout (54:21):
Hey, that's all I got tonight. You got any other
stuff? How about an ice?

Dallas Kelley (54:26):
I don't have an ice fishing event. My truck is
still being repaired fromhitting the deer. It's been
seems like it's been it's beentwo or three weeks. Been a long
time. It's still in the shopthat you've ordered the part
parts out the wrong one inyesterday. At a call today you
get a discount now.

Tim Stout (54:47):
They didn't meet the deadline.

Dallas Kelley (54:49):
Well I've got $100 deductible so

Tim Stout (54:51):
it I complain it I don't care what it is. Did you
harvest the deer? No. Did youwould if you would have found
the deer which you haveharvested?

Dallas Kelley (55:03):
Probably not.

Unknown (55:05):
Some people do that, don't

Dallas Kelley (55:05):
they? Yeah, I've heard you got I think, Well, I
think you've got to getpermission from the game or the
police when they show up orsomething it just because you're
on someone else's property andeverything when you're doing it.

Tim Stout (55:20):
I thought about that.
So well, we're back at it. It'sgood to be back at it. Clean
show over there. Maybe missed acouple buttons. No clean show.
Steve gave me the thumbs up.
Hey, if we had technical issues, sorry. Let's see what happens.
We're not going to rust off. Wewent back to try everything we
did the old way. And there was aone difference today. We tried a

(55:43):
new song, hope you liked it. Ifyou don't put it in the
comments, any comments, questions or anything else?

Dallas Kelley (55:48):
Never had one question or comment that don't
make it easy.

Tim Stout (55:54):
Schedule as Friday, February 12. That's when we'll
be back. We've got a lot ofguests and topics in the works.
As always, if you have ideas orthoughts about who we should be
talking to what a topic weshould be discussing, you know,
whether it's marriage in thechurch and moments, I mean, we
could ask Dallas to talk about agnome and he could talk about it
for an hour. I don't know ifthey might want to listen to

(56:14):
that. That's crickets rightthere. But hey, we could do it.

Dallas Kelley (56:22):
You know, yeah, Norman's weddings. Radical
stagnations Pauline privileges?
We've mentioned a couple of thattime.

Tim Stout (56:31):
Yeah. So you know, there's a lot of things that are
going on in our parish in ourchurch, I think, you know, over
the next few weeks, I thinkthere's a lot of good things
that are happening, you know,we've adjusted to the pandemic.
You know, we're online with ourservices, most of the meetings
that are taking place areonline. So a lot of things that
are going on. So if you gotideas, topics, let us know. If

talk about that too. As always, those favor hit the like button
subscribe button. And if you'relistening on the podcast, yeah,

with that link lately. If thatdoes not take you to the
