(00:53):
Today, we are speakingwith Dr. David Yates.
He is a doctor of chiropractic medicine, and he actually has some enlightening
things to share with us today.
David, could you please introduceyourself and let people know just
a little bit about you, please?

(01:14):
Be very happy to do that, Ed.
And thank you for having me on the show.
Um, as Ed mentioned, um, I ama, uh, doctor of chiropractic.
Uh, I specialize in the upper neck.
Um, in the profession we, we call itupper cervical specific chiropractic.
Uh, I graduated fromCleveland Chiropractic College

(01:35):
in Los Angeles in 2007.
Um, I've practiced in fivedifferent states, most recently
here in California, where I'm from.
Uh, born and raised in the L. A. area.
Uh, did some undergraduate workat, um, a college called Brigham
Young University in Provo, Utah.

(01:56):
I got a bachelor's in Spanish, minor in business, and now
a doctorate in chiropractic.
Um, and most recently, uh, I'vecome across a technology that
hopefully we'll be able to talk alittle bit about, um, during this
session called, uh, phototherapy.
Um, and a company called LifeWave, uh,which is a global wellness technology

(02:19):
company that I came across in February.
And I'm really, really excited, um, abouttheir technology, um, and how it relates
to what I do, uh, as a chiropractor.
So.
I found that technology kind ofunique in what it says it does.

(02:40):
And I really want to dive right intothat, get it out of the way, because
I really think that we're going tohave a great conversation today.
But this, this is a simple patch, andI don't want to say simple because
I'm not aware of the full value withinthis patch, so why don't you dive

(03:05):
in and tell us about the technologyand what is inside of this patch.
Yeah.
No, that's a great topic.
We're gonna have fun talking about this.
Um, LifeWave, uh, the actualcompany, started, um, back in 2004.
And the very first patch that theymanufactured, um, this phototherapy

(03:29):
patch, was called Energy Enhancer.
And I'm sure, I'm sure you guys remember,uh, uh, uh, uh, Michael Phelps from
the, I think it was the 2008 Olympicswhere he won all those gold medals.
He was actually using thisenergy patch on his body while

(03:50):
he was swimming in that Olympics.
And I'm not going to say that that'sa reason that he won all the gold
medals, I'm not going to say that.
But I will say that, um, as aworld class athlete, Michael
Phelps was using this technology, and it was very new technology.
Um, and these patches, what they do,um, and I'm not, I'm not a scientist,

(04:15):
I'm not an expert in phototherapy.
You, who, who you would want to haveon your show is, is David Schmidt,
who's the CEO of, uh, LifeWave.
He's an inventor.
Um, his, his role model growing up wasThomas Edison and, um, he just wanted to
invent things that would enhance humanperformance, um, enhance our ability as

(04:41):
human beings to, uh, be healthy naturally.
Um, he, he definitely saw a shiftin healthcare where we were becoming
very medicated, um, as, as notonly a nation, but in the world.
Um, and, and didn't see much progressin the fight on cancer and all these

(05:04):
other things that started way backin 1971 with, uh, President Nixon
when he declared war on cancer.
Um, which, you know, coincidentally wasthe same time he took the dollar off
of the gold standard, uh, which led toa lot, I think, in my opinion, a lot
of our economic problems that we have.
But anyway, um, you know, David Schmidt, what he did is he manufactured this patch.

(05:29):
Um, and this is years of being in the laband, and, you know, thinking about this.
Um, he, what he has done is he'smanipulated different, um, quanta of,
of light waves, light wavelengths, okay?
See, what people don't understand andwhat, and what I have been educating
people about ever since I became a doctoris that, especially as a chiropractor,

(05:54):
is that our bodies, every living thingemits, uh, light, infrared light, okay?
And this goes back to our school days,um, photosynthesis, synthesis, okay?
When, you know, we learned about, you know, if you plant a seed in
the ground, okay, and you give itwater, um, without light, without

(06:17):
sunlight, it's not going to grow, okay?
And then once it does start growing, that seed, um, it needs light.
It needs the perfectbalance of light, okay?
Sunlight, okay, and water, right, to grow.
And our bodies emitinfrared light continuously.

(06:38):
So does, so does, um, plants, any, anyliving thing, animals, all of it, okay?
And so, you know, focusing on us ashuman beings, um, when you put this patch
on your body, and the, the ingredientsis, is very simple ingredients,
there's, there's different sugars, aminoacids, different, um, minerals and things.

(07:00):
And it's, it's patented.
Uh, and the reason it's patented isbecause, um, of, of what it does.
This latest patch, which, uh,I was, I was introduced to in
February of this year, which wasactually manufactured, um, in 2019.
Cause we have like ten differentphototherapy patches in this company.

(07:22):
The energy patch was thefirst one that Michael Phelps
used, but I've only used X39.
And what it does is it actually elevatesGHK copper peptide in the body, which
activates, uh, dormant stem cells.
And this is, this is revolutionarybecause anybody who knows about stem
cell research and stem cell therapy,um, I mean, first of all, it's extremely

(07:48):
expensive, but the results are amazing.
You know, stem cells can replicateany cell type in the body.
And the, the most famous case was, andI don't, I don't remember the details of
this case because I wasn't even, uh, myfocus back in 2018 when stem cell therapy
really started to get, um, popular and,and you know, it was on Time Magazine

(08:13):
and there were all these articles andthey basically, um, originated from a
case in which they injected stem cellsfrom, um, that they extracted from an
umbilical cord, you know, uh, of a baby,uh, natural born baby, healthy baby.
They extracted these, um, uh, uh, stemcells and they injected them in the knee

(08:38):
of this patient that was considering,uh, knee replacement because of the
degeneration in the tissues of the knee.
And through those stem cell injections andthat, and like I said, I don't, I don't
remember, um, the details because my focushas been chiropractic my entire life.
That's what, you know, my,my studies have been in.

(08:59):
Um, but, but anyway, as a result, um,this individual, the, it regenerated
the, the tissue, um, the knee tissue, the, you know, the meniscus, the
cartilage, the bone that was degenerated, and it was a huge breakthrough.
Um, and so now you can get stem cellinjection, it's come a long way.

(09:20):
And I, like I said, I'mnot an expert on this.
But on this patch, that's what, that's what really intrigued me about
this, this X39 patch that I've beenwearing off and on, on my body since
February is that, um, you don't needinjections and, and it's so inexpensive.
I mean, one patch is likethree dollars and fifty cents.

(09:43):
Less than your cappuccino atStarbucks each day, you know,
for, for one day treatment of stemcell for twenty-four hours, okay?
Because you can wearthis patch on your body.
And that's, that's what Ido since I started using it,
I just slap it on my body.
Um, I, I wear it until I take a shower, you know, I take it off to take a shower

(10:05):
and then when I'm done taking a shower,I put it back on, um, that's what I was
doing when I first started using it.
Now I only use it like three times a week.
You can use it every day, it's safe.
It's 100 percent organic,it's non allergenic.
It has all this organic material in it.
But somehow it manipulates the infraredlight that our body admits at different

(10:26):
wavelengths to either elevate or decreasecertain chemicals or peptides in the body.
Um, for instance, we have aglutathione patch and, you know,
people know that glutathione isthe master antioxidant of the body.
We have a, and what it does is it elevatesglutathione naturally in your body

(10:47):
when you wear this patch on your body.
And then we have another patch calledSilent Nights that elevates melatonin.
Um, but what's, what's unique aboutthis type of treatment, Ed, is that
it works synergistically with theinnate intelligence of the body.
Um, and, and that's what's so fascinatingand so revolutionary about it, in my

(11:10):
opinion, because, you know, we as doctors, you know, we can inject certain things.
We can inject GHK copperpeptide into the body, okay?
But are we, you know, what I've learnedas a doctor is that too much of a good
thing is not a good thing anymore.
You know, I'll usehyponatremia as my example.

(11:32):
You know, everybody knows thatwater is very important for
health and for survival, right?
Um, but if you drink too much watertoo quickly, you can die from that.
It's, it's a condition calledhyponatremia in which it
saturates the sodium in your body.
And so health is all about balance, you know, the balance between

(11:54):
sodium, potassium, the balance and,and hormones, the balance, uh, you
know, you, I could go on and onabout all these different things.
Um, but too much of a good thingis not a good thing anymore, and
so we don't always know as doctors, you know, how much is needed.
Um, but our body alwaysknows what's right.

(12:17):
What is the right balance of hormones, minerals, uh, vitamins, all that.
Um, and so that's, that's what I loveabout this technology and what it does.
And another thing, it does no harm.
I mean, if you look at the HippocraticOath, every doctor, when I became

(12:38):
a doctor, I took the oath that, theHippocratic Oath, which says do no harm.
You know, are we doing that as medicaldoctors in today's, you know, society?
No, we're not.
We're actually, iatrogenicdisease, uh, many years is
the number one cause of death.
Not cancer, not heartdisease, iatrogenic disease.

(12:58):
Doing what your doctor told you to do.
Taking that medication, or going tothe hospital, or getting that surgery.
Too much of a good thing is nota good thing anymore and medical
doctors don't know what that is.
But guess what?
The innate intelligenceof your body always knows.
And this technology works synergistically.

(13:19):
I don't know how it does, youknow, like I said, this, whatever's
in that patch is patented.
I don't know exactly what, I'vejust been told, uh, amino acids, you
know, some sugars, stuff like that.
The Chinese have already triedto steal this technology.
But David Schmidt, the CEO ofLifeWave, was so smart that, you know,
he, he, he made it so when you cutthe patch open, it deactivates it.

(13:43):
So you can't really study it.
And so the Chinese wasn't, weren'table to replicate, um, the technology.
It's, it's LifeWave's technology,and he's not giving it up to
anybody, and I'm happy that he's not.
And I'm happy to be a part of LifeWave.
Very interesting.
And I do encourage people tolook that up, uh, X39 is the

(14:07):
patch name, and, from LifeWave.
Interesting.
So let's segue into that balancething, because as you know, David,
our world is kind of topsy turvy rightnow, and there really is no balance.
I recently had an interview with Dr. FredMoss, and he's known as the undoctor.

(14:35):
And he highlights, youdon't need medication.
What you were just saying rightthere, there are so many doctors
and, you know, clinicians standing upand speaking out about all of these
medical atrocities that have beenhappening in our nation and our world.

(14:59):
I think that's a very positivestep in the right direction.
Tell me your take on that, please.
I, I agree 100%.
I, I love seeing it.
It's sad that we basically had to havea manufactured pandemic in order for

(15:19):
medical doctors and people in generalto start realizing that, look, what
we're doing is not working, okay?
We do not have a health care system, wehave what's called a sick care system.
And it's all based on profits, unfortunately, dominated by the
pharmaceutical industry, okay?

(15:40):
The pharmaceutical industryexists for profit, okay?
Don't let them fool you into thinkingthat they're trying to find a cure
for cancer, that's bullshit, okay?
Cancer is a multi billiondollar, um, maker for the
pharmaceutical industry, okay?
Um, and their marketing plan iskeep sick people sick so they will

(16:06):
continue to use our product andwe will continue to be lucrative,
okay?
And unfortunately, um, they dominate it.
You know, the person with the mostmoney has the most control, right?
I mean, that's pretty basicto any civilization, right?
If you have the money, you have the control.

(16:28):
So, the pharmaceutical industrycontrols our healthcare, uh, system.
And being a healthcare provider, it'sbeen very, very frustrating, um, to
me the last seventeen years that I'vebeen a doctor and learned about this.
Because I knew nothing about thisbefore I became a chiropractor, but
as I learned more and more about howthe body works and how our healthcare

(16:52):
system works, you know, you just haveto keep fighting against it, really.
Because, um, but like you said, it'sgood to see that medical doctors
are waking up and they're saying,Yeah, this isn't right, okay?
We need to get away from theallopathic philosophy of health.

(17:12):
I mean, it's, you know, in, inan emergency situation, or to
basically make a terminal cancerpatient comfortable, then yes, that,
that's when you use medication,
okay?
Um, but really, if you look at thestatistics, I mean, more than fifty

(17:34):
percent of all Americans suffer fromat least one chronic illness, okay?
And you, you don't go, you don'tgo the allopathic route when
you have a chronic health issue.
The reason being is that allyou're going to get is medication.
See, and, and just to define it forthose that aren't familiar with the

(17:55):
allopathic philosophy of health.
This goes all the way back to Hippocrates, the father of medicine, um, that
basically if there's something wrongwith the body, you need to give, you
need to add something to the body ortake something away from the body.
That's the allopathicphilosophy of health.
And I concur with that inan emergency situation.

(18:19):
But most healthcare issues are notemergency situations, they're chronic
situations from people, um, you know, not using their body to heal themselves.
That, that's the chiropractic philosophy.
The vitalistic philosophy of healthis that you don't need to add anything

(18:41):
to the body or take anything awayfrom the body, the body is fully
equipped to heal itself as long as youfacilitate it via the nervous system.
And, and that's, if there's anythingthat your listeners learn from
this episode, Ed, it is that.
That the nervous system is the key, okay?

(19:04):
The nervous system, the communicationsystem of your body, as long as
there's no interference to it, itcan heal anything and does maintain
homeostasis or balance perfectly.
I like that a lot.
You know, that's powerful, you know, balances everything.

(19:27):
And, and instead of telling people, here, take this statin for your cholesterol,
why isn't it being controlled through dietand education about what you are intaking?

(19:49):
Uh, a big soda, and juju fruits, and potato chips, all of these
deadly things that we are puttinginto our body is really the
epidemic that we're facing today.
And I had to find that out the hard way.
You know, I, I shocked my system.

(20:12):
And I was obese and I broke my systemand it wasn't until I took responsibility
and started educating myself insteadof trying to listen to the doctor
that is there to take my money,
this is when I actuallystarted recovering.
And I convinced my wife tofollow in those footsteps.

(20:36):
And the moment I heard her tell herdoctor, No, I'm listening to my husband
because it's working, that blew me away.
And I, I really saw, yes, thisis the way everyone should be
approaching their own health.

(20:57):
However, there, there are so many peoplethat are so weak in knowing themselves
that they want somebody to tell themhow to live and maintain their life.
That's how I see that.
Yeah.

(21:17):
And, and the thing is, Imean, that's tradition.
I mean, we're working againstthousands and thousands of
years of tradition here, Ed.
I mean, you know, how many, how many, how many thousands of years have
people been going to a medical doctor?
I mean, even in thetimes of Jesus, you know?
And I'm a very religious person.

(21:39):
But I've read the bible, Istudied the bible several times.
And you know what, what, and youknow, there's examples in the bible
of, you know, physicians puttingleeches on people's skin to, to
bring out the blood, you know?
Like I said, The allopathic philosophy,we need to drain that person's blood

(21:59):
because the disease is in the blood.
No, the, the disease is that your body'snot communicating well with yourself.
And that's, that's why Ispecialize in the upper neck.
Because if you look at the anatomy and thephysiology of the body, okay, um, first of
all, you know, if I could only adjust onebone, if I was only allowed to adjust one

(22:22):
bone in the spine, it would be the atlas.
Why?
Well, first of all, itsubluxates more than any other
bone in the spine, bar none.
There's no disc above it orbelow it to stabilize it.
It holds up your head, which weighsten to fourteen pounds, you know?
There's going to be an atlanto, what we call an atlanto-occipital

(22:44):
misalignment, okay?
The occiput, the base of yourskull, the atlas is right below it.
And guess what that atlas protects?
It protects your brainstem
which is the switchboard operatorof all communication in the body.
When the brain sends a messageto the body, okay, it has to

(23:04):
pass through the brainstem.
And the, and in our brainstem isour cardiovascular, respiratory,
digestive centers, all involuntarymuscle contraction is controlled
in the medulla oblongata.
So if you, if you've studiedphysiology and you understand these
things and you also understand theanatomy, those are the two key, the

(23:26):
two keys, anatomy and the physiology.
You have to, you have to focusin that area as a doctor because
you're going to have a more globaleffect on that person's health.
And that's, that's what you haveto have because like I said,
this body is very complicated,
it's very complex.
The, that we have an infinite, thinkof this, Ed, we have an infinite number

(23:51):
of chemical reactions that are takingplace in our body every few moments.
Now, we as human beings, we don'tunderstand that term infinite.
Because what that means iswithout beginning and without end.
That's a number that we can't comprehend.
The only person or individualthat can comprehend that is God.

(24:15):
And, you know, everybodyhas their different God.
I believe in the God from the Bible.
Um, and that's why I do chiropracticbecause it's the only, it's the only
profession that really has taught meabout that infinit, that, that innate
intelligence that I already knewabout before I became a chiropractor.

(24:38):
Because I studied the Bible and Iknew that the spirit that gives the
body life, that gives this tissuelife, is what gives all of us life.
I mean, as a doctor, I, I dissectedthree cadavers in the lab, in my anatomy
lab, when I was getting my doctorate.
The only difference, Ed, between acadaver and you and I, or anybody

(24:59):
else who's alive is the spirit.
And, and the spirit is theinnate intelligence of the body.
And the infrared light that our bodyemits, that this phototherapy patch
that we were talking about earlier, that is, you know, that's our spirit.
That's what gives our body life.
We would, we would not functionat all, nothing would function.

(25:20):
We wouldn't, we wouldn't, we wouldn'tbe alive if it weren't for that spirit.
And chiropractic works with thatbecause that spirit is emanated
through the nervous system.
It's the only system of our body that hasa connection with every cell in our body.
Every cell, you know?
Interesting.

(25:40):
You know, you bring up theBible and that's where my wife
and I, we turn for inspiration.
And when we went through all of this andI had my grand epiphany, I actually turned
to the Bible for that diet and cuttingout the pork and, you know, going, going

(26:08):
to school about, why does this 2000 yearold book tell us about healthy eating?
There's a reason for that.
And it's, it's told to us tobe clean with our system, our

(26:29):
body which brings that balance.
And, and a lot of people they getvery irate when you bring up religion.
But I'll tell you, I love talking aboutreligion and politics because they're the
driving forces in our world and so manypeople get angry about the things that you

(26:53):
can control, that's where it really lies.
And if, if you don't put yourmind in the right space and take
charge of that space, well, youcan see what happens to our world.
The Bible, Basic InstructionsBefore Leaving Earth, I

(27:15):
believe that a hundred percent.
And I've always been sort of religious.
But in the last, since 2017, 2017,I've really gotten serious about
things because this is where you'regoing to find out who you truly are.

(27:39):
That's correct.
And you know, I'm, it's so greatthat you mentioned that because I'm
actually writing my autobiographyright now and I've, I've entitled
it God, Health, and Relationships.
Because I'm fifty- five yearsold, um, I've lived a very
full life, very full life, Ed.

(28:01):
Um, I, I've been married,I have five children, I've
been divorced for six years.
I've lived in foreign countries,um, I, you know, I'm a doctor, I'm
educated, uh, uh, but, you know, and Icome from a very dysfunctional family.
So the most that I've learned inmy life, in my fifty-five year old

(28:23):
life is, the most I know about is,God, health, and relationships.
And so that's what I'veentitled my autobiography.
I hope to finish it,um, next year sometime.
Um, and it's just a chronological, uh,depiction of my life and what I've learned
and things like you just mentioned.

(28:44):
You know, you learned how toeat clean from the Bible, okay?
Well, I've been taught that stuffmy whole life, you didn't, you know,
you, you learned it later in life.
I learned it very early in life, and I'vebeen, uh, implementing it in my life, my
entire life and it served me very well.
I mean, I, I am optimally healthy.

(29:05):
Um, I feel that I have greatbalance physically, mentally,
emotionally, spiritually.
The only thing I lack is thefinancial, but that was, that was
the burden that, you know, that waskind of like the Achilles heel for
me that the Lord was testing me.
And the purpose of thislife, it's a test, okay?

(29:26):
The reason we're here on thisplanet is to be tested, um, to see
how well we obey what our Father, our Creator, um, has, you know?
What He, what He knows, He, see, Heknows what's best for us, you know?
And this is something that I've,like, like, like I said, I've been

(29:47):
taught since birth, fortunately.
Not everybody has that fortune.
Um, but when I was nineteen yearsold, okay, I served a two year
mission for my church in Costa Rica.
And for two years straight, twelvehours a day, seven days a week, 365
days a year for two years, that'sall I did was teach these things

(30:13):
to the inhabitants of Costa Rica.
Um, and it was the most fulfilling, groundbreaking, life changing
experience at the age of nineteen.
So imagine, imagine graduating fromhigh school and, and, and, and going
to a foreign country where you're notworking, you're not studying, you can't

(30:36):
have a girlfriend, you're not makingany money, you're just dedicating,
you're sacrificing, twenty-four hoursa day, all your time to your Creator.
There's nothing like it, Ed.
And it changed my life and itactually, that's the reason why I
got a bachelor's degree in Spanish, that's the reason why I got a doctorate

(30:57):
in chiropractic, and that's exactlywhy I'm doing what I'm doing today.
Because what does the Bible say?
What does, what does Christleave His disciples with
right before He's crucified?
Love one another.
I give you a new commandment, love one another.
Are we doing that in society today?

(31:19):
No, we are not loving one another.
The way that I love my neighbor, becausethe two greatest commandments are this,
love God with all your heart, mind, and strength and love your neighbor.
That, what that does is thatencapulates, okay, the Ten
Commandments from the Old Testament.
If you look at the Ten Commandments thatMoses was given in the Old Testament,

(31:44):
the first three are about loving God.
The last seven are aboutloving your neighbor.
So when Christ came to fulfill theMosaic Law, The law of Moses, in the
New Testament, he simplified it for usbecause he knew that, you know, in our
day, things were going to be complicated
and we as human beingslove to complicate things.

(32:06):
Let's keep it simple.
Love me, the way you love meis obeying my commandments.
That's, that's how you asa human being love God.
That's how you show your love for God isby keeping what he has commanded us to do.
And then, oh, by the way, love your fellow man, okay?
I do that by being a doctor.

(32:27):
I do that, and I try to do that, Ed,in every interaction I have, whether
it's with my patients or, or a, ora homeless person on the street.
I am loving my neighbor 24/7, ortrying to, every opportunity I have.
Yep.
You know, and, and to just add tothat, I, I always, when I'm dealing

(32:51):
with things like that, and somepeople are very difficult to love.
You know, let's be honest.
But when I'm dealing with peopleand forces like that, I always take
it right back to the cross itself.
And, you know, it really highlightsthat He died for us, He cares about us.

(33:19):
And some of the last bits of wisdomthat he departed to us is, forgive them
father for they know not what they do.
And it is so relieving when you live bythat because it really teaches you to be
more empathetic towards your fellow man.

(33:43):
Absolutely.
And you know, the law of Moses was createdto basically, um, prepare Israel, you
know, the people of God, to prepare Israelfor the Savior, Jesus Christ, you know?
And then when He came, theydidn't even recognize Him.
I mean, He was rejected by all the leadersof the Jewish nation, you know, the

(34:07):
Pharisees, the Sadducees, and all that.
But, you know, if you look at Histeachings and His three year ministry,
one of the things He says on the Sermonon the Mount is, love your enemies.
So, you know, if you look at it thisway, and this is what my, my church
has taught me is, that you, you havethe letter of the law and then you
have the spirit of the law, okay?

(34:30):
The letter of the law isthe law of Moses, okay?
And why was that law given?
Because this was a very rebellious people, they, they, they weren't, you know, they
were unbelieving, they were, you know, they, they weren't, they weren't people
of gratitude for their blessing, you know?
I mean, they were very stiff necked, youknow, you hear that term in Scripture.

(34:52):
They're a very stiff necked person, which means a prideful person.
A prideful person is not teachable, okay?
And what did, what did, uh,Christ say to the Pharisees?
You know, Oh, you hypocrites, you know?
You know, you're prideful people.
Um, and so that, that letter of the lawis, okay, you need to wash your cup a

(35:14):
certain way, you can't, you can't takemore than these steps on the Sabbath day.
Where, you know, all these things were, all these rules were to basically help
the, them, be, uh, be ready for thespirit of the law, which is what Christ
taught on the Sermon on the Mount, when He said, you know, You've heard

(35:35):
it written in the law, you know, um,an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
You remember this?
Okay?
You, that, that was the law of Moses, aneye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, okay?
But I teach you a higher law,to love your, your enemy, okay?
To love your enemy, that's hard to do.

(35:56):
And I think that's whatyou were referring to.
Um, you know, there, there's, there'speople very difficult to love.
But here's the thing, it goes back, andmy favorite, by the way, my favorite
chapter in all of Scripture, and,and I don't just use, The Bible, um,
I'm LDS, so I use other scripture aswell, but all the scriptures that I

(36:20):
have ever read, my favorite chapter,my favorite chapter in all the
scripture is Matthew chapter seven.
And if you look at Matthew chapterseven, and I would encourage your
listeners to go back and read and studyand meditate about Matthew chapter
seven, that is a guidebook, okay?

(36:41):
That chapter is a guidefor life right there.
I mean, Christ is the best lifecoach you're ever going to have.
And in that chapter, chapter sevenof Matthew, He lays it down in
just a couple, you know, what?
twenty-five verses, you know?
If you do these things, you're,you're going to be ready for my,

(37:04):
when I come again, or you're goingto be ready for the second coming.
Which, you know, um, followers of Christ, that's what we're waiting for right now.
We're waiting for Him to come and endthis reign of Satan because we, we know
that Satan reigns on the earth today,
okay?
He's all about power, he'sall about money, okay?

(37:25):
But none of those things are importantto God and Jesus Christ, okay?
Um, none of those things, okay?
Uh, you know, we're given our freedom.
We're given, we, we came herewith free agency to choose
whatever we want to choose.
But that's, that's the test isthat so many people are making bad

(37:46):
choices and, and their lives aren'tas happy or joyful because of it.
Whether it's taking medications or,you know, or, or smoking or, you know,
uh, having sex or, you know, with, withpeople that they shouldn't, you know?
All these things are, you know, God triesto protect us with the commandments.

(38:07):
It's not, it's not totake away our freedom.
It's actually to give us morefreedom and to be happier.
Because how, how free are you, Ed?
If you're lying in, in, you know,if you're in a hospital and you
can't breathe because you smokedcigarettes your whole life and you
have cancer or something like that.
How free is somebody with health problems.

(38:29):
You know, but, but thou shallnot do these things, you know?
Um, and we can, we could talk fordays on this stuff, but, you know?
It's just, if you just rememberthose two things, love God, love your
neighbor, that's religion in a nutshell.
You don't even have to go to church.
You know, if you're doingthose things, then you're
doing what God wants you to do.
Um, so anyway.

(38:54):
Yeah.
Well, well, you know,it's a good talk to have.
Discovering these principlescan really turn a life around.
And, you know, I, I don't dish onanybody for where they are in life.
I really want them tomeet me where they are.

(39:15):
And this is what I'm here for,you know, I'm not here to judge.
You know, judge not lest ye bejudged, you know, and I'm so
terrified of that right there.
And I, I really depend
Well, that, that's, that's chapter seven.

(39:36):
That's Matthew chapter seven.
That's how it, that's how it begins, judge not lest you be judged, okay?
And, and the interesting thing about, yeah, and the interesting thing about
that verse is that, um, really usas human beings, it's, it's, it's
impossible for us not to judge.
I mean, think of it.

(39:57):
When you see it, when you see a personfor, for, for the first time, you're, you,
you make a, a split judgment right there.
That person's beautiful, thatperson's ugly, that person's
skinny, that person's fat.
It's impossible not to judge.
What Christ is talking aboutin Matthew seven is that, He's,

(40:17):
He's, what He's saying to us iswe shouldn't judge unrighteously.
Which means, and what that actually meansis that if you're gonna judge, okay?
And, and, and I heard a, I hearda statement one time that was just
profound, that has always stayed with me.

(40:39):
And it was one of the leaders in my churchsaid this, he said, he said, Be slow to
judge, quick to seek understanding, okay?
And, and, and that's, that's reallywhat Christ is saying in Matthew
chapter seven, because Christknows that we're gonna judge.
That we, that we, we're gonna fallshort when it comes to that commandment.

(41:01):
What He encourages us to dois to seek understanding.
Well, how do you seek understanding?
The way you seek understanding,Ed, is exactly what you
and I are doing right now.
We're having an open, honestcommunication about what's in our
hearts and what's in our minds.
That's how you get to know somebody.

(41:24):
And then once you know them, you shouldn't judge them.
Because the only person whoknows us fully, all of us,
to our core, is Jesus Christ.
And He's the one that's going to judge us.
What we do is we've been commandedto love each other, no matter what.
Okay?

(41:44):
You know, but how can you lovesomebody that you don't know?
How can you love even Godif you don't know Him?
How do you get to know Him?
By reading His words.
The words that He's, that, that He'srevealed to His prophets and His apostles.
That's how you get to know God, okay?
And once you know Him, you'regoing to love Him so much more.

(42:06):
I, I'm a testament to that.
I, I am in, so in love with God.
I love God more than evenmy own children, okay?
Because I know Him so well, okay?
But it's the same for us as human beings, the better we know each other through
open honest communication and sharing ourtrue feelings and not lying to each other,

(42:29):
we're gonna love each other much more.
That's, that's the key.
That's the key to creatingmore love in our society.
You know, and I, I really likethat you highlighted the same thing
that Abraham went through whenhe was asked to sacrifice Isaac.

(42:53):
And you know, it's very interesting,I have that same mentality.
I tell my wife I love Godfirst and then you, you know?
And that's not, that's not a bad thing.
And, and I tell her, yes, I tellher you must have the same mindset.

(43:20):
Don't love me before Christ, becauseyou are messing up when you do that.
And, and, that really is a, a strong thingwhen you put that in your relationship.
And see, my ex wife didnot understand that, Ed.

(43:42):
And, and that was a bigreason why I divorced her.
Um, and unfortunately, shehas treated me like an enemy.
But really I love, I love her.
She is the mother of my fivebeautiful healthy children that
I love more than anything, okay?

(44:03):
Um, but, but, but she felt, shefelt like I didn't love her anymore
when really she didn't understand.
And the reason she didn't understand isbecause she wasn't a good communicator.
She didn't love God more than me or life.

(44:24):
And I love the analogy that you giveabout Abraham and Isaac, because
that, that was a precursor for whatGod did, you know, with Jesus, with
His, His, His, yeah, yeah, withHis son, Jesus Christ, you know?
That, that was a foreshadowingof what was to come.

(44:44):
And it was a lesson for Abraham, and it was a test for Abraham.
And Abraham, he passed that test.
That's a, that's a great faithbuilding story from the Old Testament.
And by the way, every, everystory, everything that we read
in the Old Testament, it'sall about building our faith.

(45:05):
Which is a belief in somethingthat is true, that is not seen.
How do we know what is true?
We know what is truethrough the Holy Ghost.
Well, we know the Holy Ghost is a thirdmember of the Godhead, the Trinity.
You got God the Father, the SonJesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.
Every, we've been given everything weneed to, to be able to return to our

(45:29):
Heavenly Father at the end of this life.
And as a Christian, I'msure you believe, um, in the
resurrection and life after this.
And that's what thislife is preparation for.
It's, it's really the test toknow where we're, are we going to
be able to, are we going to livewith God after this life or not?
You know, because that's going to be the, that's the greatest gift that He can give

(45:51):
to us is eternal life, living with Him.
It's only possible through Jesus Christ.
If Jesus Christ had not suffered for oursins and overcame spiritual and physical
death on the, on the cross, um, then, then it wouldn't have been possible.
But it is possible.
And like I said, we were giveneverything we need and, and

(46:14):
that's what's most important.
If people realize that thislife is temporary, that it's in
preparation for, um, infinity.
Which is after this life, which is going to last forever.
I mean, this life is only a millisecondin the big scheme of things.
Um, and, and that's, that'swhat we're preparing for.

(46:36):
And, and it's sad that wedon't see that, you know?
You don't, uh, in our country,we're not, we're, we're more
focused on like making money.
And, you know, it's just, it's sad.
It's, it's sad, you know?
The, the state that wefind ourselves in, yeah.
You know, David, I myself,I'm about to turn fifty-nine.

(47:02):
And in one week, I have been married tomy beautiful wife for thirty-nine years.
And that is difficult.
And, and it's somethingI am, I'm proud of.
And, and
That is not easy.
Wow.

(47:22):
I,
I salute you.
I, I mean, yeah, that is, that is awesome.
Really, it's one of thosethings about what we talked
about earlier, communicating.
This is when I found the most blissout of my relationship is when I

(47:47):
truly turned it over to God and said,I will no longer lie to my wife.
I will tell my wife how it is.
You know, this is how it is.
And it's up to both of us tochange it if we want it to change.
But, you know, and putting those ordersinto your life, your relationship,

(48:10):
no matter where you are, it ispossible to find that fulfillment.
And it really does startwith the higher power.
And if you don't find that higher power,I really do believe that you're stumbling
in the darkness and you're kind of lost.

(48:36):
Yeah.
So, you know, what, what we do here, podcasting, this conversation, we
actually encourage and enlighten people.
Because so many of these young peopletoday are so fearful to stand up and say,
I believe in Christ and that is dangerous.

(49:01):
And we, we are on the vergeof something incredible in our
whole life, our whole existence.
And I really feel that we'reclose to these days of the end
that we've been waiting for.

(49:21):
And if you are watching and you arepaying attention to what is happening
in our whole world today, we are righton the verge of an anticipated return
that many people laugh at today.

(49:41):
That's correct, Ed.
And I, I, I don't, I believe that youbelieve in personal revelation based,
just based on what you've been tellingme about your personal life, Ed.
Um, I know that you know that you, as ason of your creator and of God, that He

(50:04):
wants to guide you through this life.
He knows that this life is difficultand that there would be stumbling
blocks constantly, but that'swhy He's given us the Holy Ghost.
That's, that's why the Holy Ghost isthe third member of the, the Godhead.
And like I said, that, that isthe only way to discern between

(50:26):
truth and error is the Holy Ghost.
Um, and there's so many voices outthere, and there's so many lies, and
there's so many, you know, deception.
I mean, Satan is the master of deception.
The scriptures teach us that.
And, um, so, you know, I reallybelieve in personal revelation.

(50:49):
And just in the last three years,Ed, um, the Lord has, has revealed
to me personally some, some verysacred things and, and some things
that, um, I knew came from Him.
Because the Holy Ghost, because theHoly Ghost verified that it was truth

(51:10):
coming, that it wasn't like society,or Satan, or, you know, the internet,
or what, no, that this was truthand it was true for me personally
to help me get through this life
and, and, and get to the end.
Which I agree with you, I, I reallybelieve it's going to happen really

(51:33):
within the next thirty or forty years.
I believe christ will, will be here for sure.
And I also believe that I'm, and,and I believe I'm going to be alive
for it and that, and that I'm goingto be in his army, um, during the
millennium, which is that thousandyears that is talked about in the
scriptures in which satan will be bound.

(51:56):
And, you know, for many people, you know, politics is Satan.
I mean, there've beenmovies made about it.
The Omen, you know?
You know, these great classicmovies that were right.
Yeah, Damien, you know?
Um, you know, but that's, it'swhat we're going to have is, we're
going to have a united world, okay?

(52:17):
Satan's going to be bound, okay?
Um, we're going to have a united world
and Christ is going to be the king.
He's going to be the ruler.
He's going to be the leader for thosethousands, for that thousand years.
And what are we going to be doing?
We're going to be doing His work.
What is His work?

(52:38):
Malachi four, four through six, thelast verses of the Old Testament
teaches us, okay, it, it, it warnsus, it, it, it, it says this is what
we need to be doing or we're going tobe utterly destroyed at His coming.
And that is turning the heartsof the Father to the children

(53:01):
and the children to the Father.
That's relationship,that's loving each other.
That's, that's, that's obeyingthe commandments, that's doing,
okay, the will of the Lord.
And, and each one of us is responsibleto find out what the will of the
Lord for their personal lives are.

(53:22):
I, I did it way back in December of 2018.
And like I said, um, you know, I,I've been, I've been, uh, a faithful
member of my church and, and living thegospel of Jesus Christ my whole life.
But guess what, Ed?
Things were not going as planned, andI had a really good plan, you know?

(53:43):
I was a doctor, I had married, I hadmarried a, a faith, faithful woman that I
knew, you know, loved God as well, okay?
I had children.
I was, I was multiplying andreplenishing the earth, which is the
second commandment that, that Godgave to Adam and Eve in the garden.

(54:04):
The first was do notpartake of this fruit, okay?
And the second was multiplyand replenish the earth.
That's interesting.
You just, you just, uh, corrected me ofmy thinking, David, because I always tell

(54:25):
people it, it was the first commandment ofthe Bible, but you are absolutely correct.
The first commandment is don'tpartake of the eating of the fruit.
I'm glad you corrected me of that.
See, we, we always should be learning, and if we're paying attention, we'll

(54:46):
discover those little hidden truths.
And, and I think that'simportant for people.
And that, and interestingenough, that is something that
I've learned just this year.
And I, I've been, I, I thoughtas you did, I, I thought, as
you did prior to this year.

(55:06):
And I can't remember who I wastalking to, um, actually, I think
I was talking to my best friend,I was, my best friend, Valerie.
I was talking to her, um, and, and, youknow, the, and the reason she's my best
friend, Ed, is because this, this womanis, um, she is such an inspiration to me.

(55:29):
But she, she loves me and, and she,she appeases my love language, which is
quality time defined by communication.
See, that, that was somethingthat my ex wife didn't do.
And I didn't want tocontinue to live a lie.
And I actually prayed and fasted forsix weeks straight before I decided to

(55:52):
divorce my, my ex wife of eighteen years.
Um, because I didn't, you know, I feltthat I had made the right decision in
marrying her back in 2000, but in 2018,at the very beginning of 2018, you know,
we had gone through a lot of things,and I, and she, I didn't, I didn't feel

(56:13):
that she was the same person that I hadmarried, you know, eighteen years earlier.
But at the same time, like we've discussedearlier in this podcast, God comes first.
You know, what is your will,God, in this situation?
Because I'll tell you, because, God, ifyou want me to remain married to this

(56:33):
woman, I will remain married to her andI will not break up this family of seven.
You know, we had five kids at the time.
So I prayed and fasted aboutit and I never received the
confirmation of the Holy Ghost thatI should remain married to her.
And so, and I didn't want tolive a lie because I knew that

(56:56):
our relationship was not right,
it was not right between us.
Um, God was not happy withour relationship, and our
relationship wasn't right.
And, and so, that's why I would havenever, see if God would have told me
through the Holy Ghost, if He wouldhave confirmed through the Holy Ghost

(57:19):
that I was to remain married to her,I would have stayed married to her.
But He never did that.
And see, that's how I knewwhat was right for me and my
will, or His will in my life.
And as a result of that, I havelearned things like what you
just, like, like what I just said.
That the first commandment wasn't tomultiply and replenish the earth, it was

(57:41):
actually do not partake of the fruit.
And, you know, we, we decide howimportant these things are in our
lives because each one of us, Ed,are at different levels spiritually.
We're at different levels ofour relationship with God.
But this, like I said, this life isour opportunity to get to know God.

(58:02):
Because if we don't know Him, like it saysin Matthew chapter seven, when He comes
again, and we, you know, we come to Himand say, Oh, you know, praise the Lord.
And He says, You never knew me.
What do you mean?
I prophesied in your name, I, youknow, I loved my neighbor, I did it.
No, you never knew me.

(58:23):
He's only gonna say that to the peoplethat, that didn't know Him in the sense
that they weren't loving their neighbor.
They weren't being, they weren'tdoing the things that they knew they
should do because they were too hard.
And, and we could even end withthis, the hardest thing for a
human being to do, Ed, is to admitthat they're wrong and to change.

(58:49):
Change is synonymous, changeis synonymous with repentance.
And what is almost every sermonyou hear when you go to church?
It's repent, repent, repent.
Why?
Because it's the hardest thing for us todo as human beings is, is to admit that
we've done something wrong and change.
And I'll tell you something, true peacein this life comes from repenting and

(59:15):
from, you know, staying close to the Lordand doing His will for you in your life.
And you only find that outthrough personal revelation
through the Holy Ghost.
So, that's what I've learned in my life.
I want to add to that alittle bit, too, David.
And always, if you really, trulywant to discover what God is

(59:41):
talking to you or not, go before thethrone boldly, and that is a key.
I never, I never got it.
I never got it until I wrestled withGod, and then I was a changed man.
And that is very, you know, it's,it's something to think about.

(01:00:07):
David, I could speak to you forhours on this subject and, you know,
to take it further, I think thisis one of those callings you might
have is podcasting about the word.
And you're very informed, you're very enlightened, and
you can articulate it well.

(01:00:28):
So I very much encourage you totake that bold step and do it.
You know, it, it, it will encourage many.
Oh, it's, it's happening.
Awesome.
Yeah, it's, it's, it's, it's happening.
I already have the name.
My, the name of my podcast is goingto be God, Health, and Relationships.

(01:00:49):
And I will be startingit next year, um, 2025.
That is one of my goalsfor 2025, for sure.
That, that's a big step.
And you know, we're, we're alwayshere to help you, that's for sure.
David, how can people find you, get ahold of you, and also, do you have a

(01:01:12):
call to action for our listeners today?
So the way, the, I'm, I'm,I'm, I'm an open book, okay?
I'm a very transparent person,I have nothing to hide.
I would love to talk to anybody.
You, I'll give you mycell phone number, okay?
I'm not afraid to do that because likeI said, uh, I'm, you know, my, my cell

(01:01:35):
phone number, my email, my email is easy.
It'sdr.dave@godhealthandrelationships.com,
that, that's my email.
Um, and then, and then call to action, really the call to action would be to,
yeah, you know, communicate with me.

(01:01:57):
I, I believe that I, that Godhas prepared me to help, um,
individuals, whether you're dealingwith physical, mental, emotional,
or spiritual, or even financial.
You know, the, the five things, you know?
I, I feel that I'm prepared, thatGod has taught me through trial and
error in my life to help His children.

(01:02:21):
Any, any problem you're havingin those realms, I would
love to talk to you about it.
I don't charge, you know, it's a freeconsultation with somebody who, who
might understand you better than, than anybody has ever understood you.
Very powerful interviewconversation today.

(01:02:43):
I want to say thank you, David, for thatpowerful conversation that we just had.
And I'm sure that it's goingto touch somebody, for sure.
I agree.
Thank you for being here, David.
My pleasure.
Thank you for having me.
