From the moment I became a dad, my fear of the world started changing. I started to think more about what might happen to my family if I were gone. What will happen to my son if he said the wrong thing or move suddenly around a police officer. Will I or my son make it back home when we step out of this house?
Growing up, I was a daddy's girl. But, somewhere in the middle of growing up, I lost that connection. The emotional connection with my dad was lost.
