Stephanie test (00:09):
Did you get into The Chosen like so many people
did?
Well, I, I had a harder timegetting into that series.
I had a hang up, and it was allabout the way they spoke.
They were using today'svernacular rather than the
vernacular used in Jesus time.
And I thought, they wouldn't usetoday's vernacular.

(00:32):
They would use The vernacularused, in Jesus's time.
So, I joined the fan club late.
But eventually I got there.
And as the episodes went on, Igrew to love The Chosen.
When it came, eventually, toseason four, I even appreciated

(00:52):
that vernacular and itssimplicity.
There was one scene where itreally touched my heart.
It was at the very end of seasonfour, and Jesus was getting
ready to enter the temple.
The city at the very beginningof the last week of his life.
He had sent a couple of apostlesin to retrieve a donkey.

(01:15):
And they had done that.
And you could feel the anxietyand anticipation.
that the Savior felt, and he hadhis party of apostles outside of
the city, and he said to them,I'm paraphrasing, will you join
me in this mission?
Simon Peter said, where elsewould we be, Lord?

(01:38):
And when Simon Peter said that,it rang so true in my heart.
Where else would we be?
And I thought, yes, I would bethere with you, Lord.
I would be there with you.
Then, time passed, and I wasreading, in the Book of Mormon,

(02:00):
in 3rd Nephi.
And this is during the timewhere the prophets had predicted
that there would be a Saviorborn, and He would be the Son of
God in another part of theworld, and the world would
eventually crucify Him.
at the time of his crucifixion, there would be earthly

(02:20):
calamities, earthquakes, andgreat darkness.
And it would overcome this partof the world in the Americas,
and that's what was happening inthe Americas, where the people
lived where the Book of Mormonwas happening.
after this great calamity, therewere some people that lived.
it was foretold that Jesus wouldascend to his father, and then

(02:43):
descend and visit the people, the lost sheep.
And those lost sheep would notjust be in America, but some,
but he would visit them in otherparts of the world.
But America's would be one.
One group of lost sheep.
he did visit them in theAmericas.

(03:04):
And I was in awe when this visitoccurred.
This is what the scripture says.
It says this in 3rd Nephichapter 11 verse 17.
Hosanna! Blessed be the name ofthe Most High God, and they did
fall down at the feet of Jesusand did worship Him.

(03:25):
when I read that, I thought, isthere a greater blessing than
these people received, than tohave been there in person and to
have witnessed the Savior JesusChrist?
in person.
Ah, what I, I wish I would havebeen there.
That's what I thought.

(03:47):
And then a thought entered mymind, and it was strong and
sure, and it was this.
You were there.
where else would you have been?
And I could picture myself, asan angel, in heaven, witnessing

(04:10):
a miracle.
My Savior, Jesus Christ, down onearth, approaching his people in
the Americas as they surroundedhim.
Where else would I be on thisglorious day that we awaited for

(04:32):
for so long?
And I was just one of a host ofangels.
I was there, and you were too.
