The Order, also known as The Silent Brotherhood, was born from the members of two prominent American hate groups: The National Alliance and The Aryan Nations. From 1983 thru 1984 they would go on a spree of crimes ranging from targeted assasinations to bank robberies before everything went up in a flash of fire. In this episode we begin to examine the groups that led to its formation and the twisted ideologies that they embraced.
On the morning of April 12, 1981, 14-year-old Sheila Sharp returned home after spending the night at a friends house. Upon opening the door she was greeted by a grisly scene: her mother, older brother, and his friend’s savaged corpses.
