Christ...Living In Me....Christ....Living In You...

The majority of us will live out our life never recognizing the Christ.  I am honored, greatly honored to be chosen by God, today in bringing this important reality back into your psyche.  How is it that this happens to us as faith filled Catholics?  We were given so much for a reason. To pass on the beautiful Catholic Faith and to preserve it for future generations.  Somehow we have failed in doing this task, and we really need to wake up and protect the beautiful catholic faith that we have been given.  We were in fact intrusted by God through our Baptism, Confirmation, Matrimony, Holy Orders, to keep orderly the life we were given from God through our parents.  The fracture in family life has further deteriorated and we need to recognize that our family needs healing.  All it takes is just one family member to decide upon becoming a prayer warrior, for the souls within their entire lineage.  That powerful choice is accepted by that individual whose genuine desire is to fufill a life of great example, a life of holiness, a life that bridges the gaps and not tears them apart.  Unforgiveness is a disease that slowly and silently kills off generations of the faithful.  We cannot as Catholics afford to make this grave mistake.  The lives and the souls of every Catholic depends upon the matriarch and patriarch of their family.  And if either or both become atheists, a generation or two or three suffer.  I am not sure how many of us will actually get to heaven.  Furthermore, I do not know how many of us will make it to purgatory. But I do know this.  When one lives in Christ, Christ lives in a person preparing them for the journey, the pilgrimage on earth leading them to eternal life.  It is a choice.  It is a decision.  And the desire has to come to each person individually within their heart, their mind, their body, and their soul.  All the above are sacred.  All the above belong to God, who created them in his likeness and in his image.  So how do we find God in the midst of our daily lives.  We must enter into the silence at Church, before mass begins, we can spend silent time in an adoration chapel, and we can create a prayer room in our homes, for time alone with God, to reflect and meditate in silence without interrruption, without distraction, where only a direct connection between your heart your soul and your mind connecting in deep prayer with God.  We enter into the sacred silent dwelling of Christ when we create a sacred space set aside time to be with him. As pilgrims on a pilgrimage, with hearts receptive to his divine will, desiring the will of the Holy Father, God himself.  It takes time, it takes sacrifice, but one must be willing to cross the threshold, without fear, and with utmost trust.  He wants to be found by you.  Saint Augustine quoted, "He is more of a lover than any other lover".  And that love is waiting to be discovered and desired, with abundant grace overflowing, but we sadly forgot him and go on living.  Even though He has never forgotten his own, he quietly waits for us in silence, he lives within every tabernacle, and is present at every prayerful Eucharistic Feast, he longs for you, he longs for me, his love, grace, healing powers are yet to be revealed upon the next generation of believers.
