My Lord, My everything, it is now I experience the deep sorrow of your suffering. Why it took so long for me to understand the meaning behind your death. My attention was fully given to you this evening at the Veneration of the Cross. I took very seriously the souls of my ancestors who have gone before me and met their reward. Those who were more devout than most. I am remembering them in a special way tonight along with their contributions to the holy Catholic and Apostolic church. My great uncle loved the faith so much he rebuilt Assumption Church. My great uncle who is also my god father had two daughters and my great aunt Emi was a full time cook for the parish priests at Assumption Church for twenty years. Her son my cousin plays the organ at a catholic cathedral at the Basilica in Newark. My maternal great grandmother loved God so much, her example left an indellible impression upon my eyes. As a child I had watched her walk to church in rain, snow, sleet, or sunshine, she was our familys prayer warrior. Both of her twin cousins became Catholic Nuns. My paternal grandfather handed out fresh bread to the poor during the depression. My paternal great grand parents baked home made Italian Rolls every year and gave them out to every family during the Feast of Saint Joseph. My paternal grandparents invited the parish priest over for dinner every Sunday. My dad was an altar server at Assumption, and played the good thief at the Via Dela Rosa. My mom came from Poland, attended the same parochial school as my younger brother and I did, as did the majority of all of our cousins. It was there my maternal great grandfather rung the church bells and worked as a janitor after serving in II World Wars. I am blessed to remember them tonight and to be reminded of their contributions to God inspires me further during my journey as a pilgrim traveling back to Christ. Back to my ancestry. Back to my ancestors. I believe they are waiting for my arrival. But in the meantime I believe it is important to share what was shown to me as a Catholic, as a woman of faith, so I can inspire you for your journey and the journey of your loved ones. Nothing is more important than acknowledging our creator, thanking him while there still is time, and continue prospering as a faithfilled person is key. I believe we all need one another to help each other find the truth. In finding God there is joy. There is peace. There is a knowledge worthy of knowing, and believing, and clinging to. This sets us apart from others, but never be discouraged. God always brings forth faithful Christians and friendships that will keep you in line with the truth and with the direction your life needs to fufill a life long journey with Christ. In Christ we prosper. In Christ our lives are enriched, engulfed with Christs love. His beauty is souls deep. His promises are forever. He will never ever leave your side. As a matter of fact He is waiting upon you to receive him right now. Let us together close our eyes and imagine Christ being next to us both as I write this podcast, as you read the words, they are His, yours, and mine, forever...He loves you! He loves me! That should matter! That should be all that we need. Let us never take our eyes off of Christ on the Cross, it is there we learn the true meaning of love and sacrifice. A love that will live on forever. A love unlike any other love we will ever encounter. Thank you Jesus! Thank you for opening my eyes to see your love for me! I will lose myself in your love every single chance I am given. I believe in your true presence. I believe in you. I believe in heaven for all eternity. I believe in the one true Catholic and Apostolic Church.
